Ever since then, I can’t stop listening to it.. it’s currently one of my favourite songs!

But gosh, this song is not an easy song to sing to. You have to pour out your emotion to each word when singing this song, otherwise it would sound just be plain boring!

Now.. finally a post all about food!

Luckily for me, WC already knows the type of food I like to eat, and since he’s been to Guangzhou & Shenzhen several times, he knows where to bring me.

According to him, “We only go to restaurants and eateries that we trust. No dodgy places!”

Well, thank goodness for that! At least I don’t have to worry what I actually put in my mouth! Haha..

We had this pork rice set somewhere in Shenzhen.

Seriously, this trip was such a blur because it went by too fast that I didn’t get a chance to ask where we were at all. No map, nothing!

So don’t ask me where all these food can be found at because we all moved from one location to another in such a quick speed that I don’t know where everything is! *hopeless*

Hopefully WC will explain better and I know where everything is on our trip here next year! ;)

But in the meantime, just feast your eyes on these food pics yeah?

One of the restaurant’s (near the hotel) signature noodle dish. I don’t even know the name and I didn’t dare to ask because the suppliers were the ones who ordered for us :p

One of the dim sum dishes.. the steamed pai kut was NOT delicious at all! The meat tasted like it was marinated in medicine or some sort of chemical! Urgh!

I prefer the ones here in KK much better, thank you very much.

But according to the suppliers, usually the meat wouldn’t taste like that. Guess it was just my luck then eh?

Their version of bak kut teh. Seriously, it is served in a small bowl of soup like this one, and it’s as if they really treat it as it is.. a tea!

Their version is so light.. it’s practically tasteless. I wonder what the Chinese (from China) think of our version of bak kut teh when they come here and try..

There is a chicken rice shop somewhere near our hotel. The chicken is good, but what really attracted my eyes was the portion of the rice! Isn’t the rice bowl meant for soups instead? It’s huge!!

But no complaints from us, as we usually have our breakfast, then skip lunch and only have our dinner when we are done with meeting up with suppliers for the day. Therefore usually by dinnertime, we would be hungry as a horse, so the amount of rice is just perfect! :p

The chicken rice shop also serves these dishes: sau nyuk, char siu, veggies etc. Delicious!

We will definitely come here again!

Also nearby our hotel is a small and old-fashioned coffeeshop that serves really delicious noodle soup. It is supposedly quite a popular eatery for locals there in Guangzhou.

The portion is also huge! Perfect for a breakfast meal!

 I was also brought to a row of food stalls in Pedestrian Street in Guangzhou. One of the stalls even sells Malaysian food, but of course we didn’t try that one! Haha..

We tried the famous spicy noodle soup. And verdict?

It was so spicy that I could only take 2 mouthfuls. Pathetic me.

And of course, there was that famous stinky tofu:

People there just can’t wait to get their hands on it!

As for me, I could smell it at least 1km away.. and I had to hold my breath because I can’t stand the smell! It just makes me nauseous!

WC, who is an avid anime fan, noticed this fish biscuit shop and told me he just had to have it!

I asked him why, and his answer is,”Because I see it all the time in my animes! You HAVE to have it when you see it! Duh!”

Well okayyy sorry! :p

Apparently you can see how happy he is as soon as he got it! Hehe..

We were going to eat at this Vietnamese restaurant located at Pedestrian Street for dinner, but as you can see, there are SO many people already waiting!

Sorry, but we are not going to wait over 1 hour just to get a seat, no matter how good your restaurant is. Perhaps next time.

Kafelaku Coffee.. I’m guessing it’s an Indonesian cafe? Also located in Beijing Street in Guangzhou.

WC introduced me to this stall that sells dried chicken feet, chicken wings, duck tongues, feet, etc.

It’s super spicy and apparently it’s one of the delicacy snack there.

I tried the chicken feet and wings, and fell it love with it! I just couldn’t stop eating it.. it was that good! The nails on the chicken feet couldn’t been removed, but I just bite it off before continue eating it :p
