Renault has already launched the Duster with the 1.3-litre turbo, and it is by far the most powerful in the segment. The volumes, however, lie elsewhere, so it was only about time before Renault got the more volume-churning 1.0-litre turbo in the Duster. On paper, it’s the same engine that does duty in the Kiger, hence expectations weren’t very high. But my word, everything changed once we hit the road behind the wheel.

Powertrain & Performance

This particular variant, the Techno as they call it, is the top one with the 1.0-litre engine, and it competes with all the NA engines out there, which are quite underwhelming to be honest. So first things first, let’s just forget that this engine powers the Kiger because it feels like nothing that we see in the Kiger. Although power and torque figures are pretty much the same—100 PS and 166 NM—the Duster’s chassis and the new 6-speed MT personify this into something we haven’t experienced before.

For starters, the Duster doesn’t feel underpowered at all. Acceleration is linear, and the 6-speed transmission has well-spaced ratios for both city and highway runs. In fact, Renault has tuned the gearbox so perfectly for Indian conditions that you can actually go 20–90 KM/H in third gear itself without having to downshift. The clutch is light, and the shifts are smooth. Peak power comes at much lower RPMs, making the drivability quite exceptional; in fact, I found it better than the more powerful 1.3-turbo. Peak power comes in around 4,500 RPM, which is much lower compared to the NA competition, where peak power comes in around 6,300 RPM.

The first gear tops out at 43 KM/H, second at 70 KM/H, and third goes all the way to 96 KM/H. The fifth and sixth gears are tuned for cruising on the highway, delivering better fuel efficiency. The Duster returns 19.4 KM/L as per ARAI, and it should return upwards of 12–13 KM/L in practical city driving conditions. The only flip side is that currently, Renault isn’t offering an automatic gearbox with the 1.0-litre engine. But for those who wish to drive an automatic at a competitive price, they have introduced an Evolution variant of the 1.3-turbo with the DCT (one variant lower than the Techno). The cost difference between these is ₹1 lakh (ex-showroom).

Safety & Features

Coming to other features on the car, it gets fabric seats, misses out on ADAS, front parking sensors, side parking sensors, and the 10.25-inch TFT instrument cluster (you get a 7-inch unit instead). You also get leatherette seats, powered front seats, manual lumbar adjustment, built-in Google, acoustic windshield, PM 2.5 air filter with ionizer, AQI display, 360-degree parking camera with 3D view, front seat ventilation, ambient lighting, drive modes with customisation profiles, Arkamys auditorium sound system (you get the Arkamys Classic sound system here), rain-sensing wipers, dual-tone colours, and 18-inch alloy wheels—but you get 17-inchers here!

Despite what it misses out on, it still has the Duster DNA, which means it still offers the best driving dynamics in the segment, feels great to drive, and will surely put a smile on your face. The best thing is that all this comes at ₹15.94 lakhs (on-road Mumbai), which is very competitive pricing and is less than some of the sub-4m SUVs out there. All in all, the Duster 1.0-litre left me truly impressed with its amazing drivability, without any lack of punch

BMW Group India has announced a price increase of up to 2 percent across its BMW and MINI model range. The revised prices will come into effect from July 1, 2026.

The price hike will apply to both locally assembled vehicles and completely built-up units (CBUs). According to the company, the increase is necessary due to the depreciation of the Indian rupee and rising logistics costs. Despite the revision, BMW India Financial Services will continue offering financing solutions to help customers manage ownership costs.

Models Affected By The Price Increase

The upcoming price revision will impact a wide range of BMW and MINI models sold in India.

Locally assembled vehicles such as the BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase, BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase and BMW X1 will receive updated pricing. Imported models including the BMW M4, BMW M5 and BMW i7 will also become more expensive from July.

The MINI lineup will not remain unaffected either. Models such as the MINI Cooper and MINI Countryman will also receive revised prices.

Reasons Behind The Price Revision

BMW Group India has attributed the latest price increase to multiple economic factors.

The weakening value of the Indian rupee has increased costs associated with imported components and fully imported vehicles. Rising logistics and transportation expenses have further added to operational costs across the automotive industry.

Luxury vehicle manufacturers are particularly vulnerable to currency fluctuations because many premium models rely heavily on imported parts and completely built units.

Second Price Hike In 2026

This marks the second price revision announced by BMW Group India this year.

Earlier in March 2026, the company announced a similar increase of up to 2 percent, which became effective from April 1. At that time, BMW cited rising input costs, logistics expenses and currency fluctuations as the primary reasons behind the adjustment.

The latest announcement indicates that these cost pressures continue to affect the premium automotive sector.

Impact On Buyers

Customers planning to purchase a BMW or MINI vehicle may benefit from completing their bookings before June 30, 2026, depending on dealer billing timelines and stock availability.

While the increase is capped at 2 percent, it could translate into a noticeable rise in on-road prices, especially for higher-end luxury models. Vehicles priced above ₹1 crore could see price increases running into several lakh rupees.

BMW & MINI Models In India

BMW currently offers a wide range of sedans, SUVs, electric vehicles and performance models in India.

Popular products include the BMW X1, X3, X5, 3 Series Long Wheelbase, 5 Series Long Wheelbase, iX1, i4 and i7. Performance enthusiasts can also choose from M models such as the M2, M4 and M5.

MINI’s Indian portfolio consists primarily of the Cooper hatchback and the Countryman SUV.

Conclusion

BMW Group India will increase prices across its BMW and MINI range by up to 2 percent from July 1, 2026. The company cites currency depreciation and higher logistics costs as the main reasons for the revision.

As this is the second price hike of the year, prospective buyers may consider finalising their purchases before the new prices take effect. The increase will impact both locally assembled vehicles and imported luxury models across the BMW and MINI portfolios.

The Maruti Fronx has achieved a major milestone in India. Since its launch in April 2023, the compact SUV has recorded cumulative sales of 5,12,829 units. This makes it the first SUV from Maruti Suzuki’s Nexa retail network to cross the 5 lakh sales mark.

The achievement highlights the growing popularity of the Fronx in the highly competitive compact SUV segment. It has also become one of Maruti Suzuki’s most important products in both domestic and export markets.

Sales Performance Over The Years

The Fronx has maintained strong demand since launch. During FY2024, it sold 1,34,735 units and accounted for 21 percent of Maruti Suzuki’s utility vehicle sales.

Sales increased further in FY2025, reaching 1,66,216 units. The SUV continued its momentum in FY2026 with 1,72,363 units sold, making it the best sales year for the model so far.

In the first two months of FY2027 alone, Maruti Suzuki dispatched 39,515 units of the Fronx, reflecting a strong 42 percent year-on-year growth.

Fastest Growing Nexa SUV

One of the biggest highlights of the Fronx story is the speed at which it reached key milestones.

The SUV crossed 1 lakh sales in just 10 months after launch. It reached the 2 lakh mark in 17 months and crossed 3 lakh units in a little over 23 months. The 4 lakh milestone arrived after 33 months, while the latest 5 lakh sales mark was achieved within 38 months.

Interestingly, the most recent 1 lakh units were sold in only six months, demonstrating the SUV’s growing popularity.

Leading The Nexa Lineup

The Fronx has emerged as one of Nexa’s strongest performers. During FY2026, it narrowly missed becoming the brand’s best-selling model, finishing just behind the Baleno.

However, in the opening months of FY2027, the Fronx moved into the top position among all Nexa models. It currently outsells both the Baleno and the Grand Vitara.

The Fronx has also established itself as the highest-selling SUV in the Nexa portfolio, ahead of models such as the Grand Vitara, XL6, Jimny and Invicto.

Strong Export Performance

Apart from its success in India, the Fronx has also become a major export product for Maruti Suzuki.

More than 1.75 lakh units have been exported to international markets. During FY2026, the Fronx was India’s highest-exported passenger vehicle with 90,186 units shipped overseas.

Its export success further strengthens Maruti Suzuki’s position in global markets and highlights the SUV’s wide appeal.

Why Buyers Prefer The Fronx

The Fronx combines SUV styling with practical dimensions, making it attractive to urban buyers.

Customers also appreciate its feature-rich cabin, fuel-efficient petrol and CNG engine options, and the availability of a 1.0 L turbo-petrol engine for those seeking stronger performance. Multiple transmission options further improve its appeal across different buyer groups.

Its competitive pricing has also played a major role in its success.

Engine & Performance

The Fronx is available with multiple powertrain options designed to suit different driving needs.

Engine

Power

Torque

Transmission

1.2 L Petrol

90 HP

113 NM

5MT / AMT

1.2 L CNG

77 HP

98.5 NM

5MT

1.0 L Turbo Petrol

100 HP

148 NM

5MT / 6AT

The turbo-petrol engine remains the enthusiast’s choice thanks to its strong low-end performance and refined driving experience.

Prices In India

The Maruti Fronx is available in five trims: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta and Alpha.

Prices currently start at ₹6.85 lakh and go up to ₹11.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The broad variant lineup allows buyers to choose between affordability, efficiency and premium features.

Conclusion

Crossing the 5 lakh sales milestone is a significant achievement for the Maruti Fronx. The SUV has consistently delivered strong sales, impressive export numbers and growing market share since launch.

With attractive styling, efficient powertrains, competitive pricing and a well-rounded ownership experience, the Fronx continues to strengthen its position as one of India’s most successful compact SUVs.

Jeep India has announced attractive offers on the Meridian and Compass for June 2026. Customers can avail consumer discounts, corporate benefits, and special incentives on both SUVs this month. The highest benefits are available on the Jeep Meridian, with savings reaching up to ₹1.65 lakh. Meanwhile, the Wrangler remains unavailable with discounts, and the Grand Cherokee has already sold out for 2026.

Jeep Meridian Offers In June 2026

The Jeep Meridian receives benefits of up to ₹1.65 lakh in June 2026. Select buyers of MY24 units can avail corporate benefits worth up to ₹1.30 lakh.

In addition, doctors and leasing companies qualify for special benefits worth up to ₹30,000. These incentives make the Meridian one of the most attractive premium SUV offerings in Jeep India’s lineup this month.

Jeep Meridian Engine & Performance

The Jeep Meridian continues with its proven 2.0-litre diesel engine. The motor produces 170 HP and delivers strong performance across city and highway conditions.

Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission and a 9-speed automatic gearbox. Higher variants also offer a 4×4 drivetrain for improved off-road capability and all-weather confidence.

Jeep Compass Offers In June 2026

The Jeep Compass receives benefits of up to ₹1.5 lakh during June. Jeep is offering corporate benefits worth up to ₹1.10 lakh on select variants.

Doctors and leasing companies can also avail additional benefits of ₹15,000. Although the total discount package is slightly lower than the Meridian’s, the Compass still offers substantial savings for prospective buyers.

Jeep Compass Engine & Performance

Like the Meridian, the Compass uses the same 2.0-litre diesel engine. It develops 170 HP and offers a balance of performance, efficiency, and long-distance comfort.

Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic gearbox. Select variants also feature Jeep’s capable 4×4 system.

Prices In India

The Jeep Meridian is currently priced between ₹23.33 lakh and ₹37.82 lakh (ex-showroom).

Meanwhile, the Jeep Compass range starts at ₹17.99 lakh and extends to ₹30.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Actual on-road prices vary depending on location, variant, and applicable offers.

Other Jeep Models

Jeep is not offering any discounts on the Wrangler in June 2026. The Grand Cherokee is also absent from the offer list, as the model has already sold out for the 2026 model year.

As a result, the Meridian and Compass remain the primary focus of Jeep India’s promotional campaign this month.

Conclusion

Jeep India continues its June 2026 discount campaign with benefits of up to ₹1.65 lakh on the Meridian and up to ₹1.5 lakh on the Compass. Corporate buyers, doctors, and leasing companies stand to gain the most from these offers. Buyers considering a premium diesel SUV can take advantage of these incentives before the offers expire at the end of the month.

Tata Motors has announced attractive offers on its electric vehicle lineup for June 2026. Buyers can avail green bonuses, exchange benefits, scrappage incentives, loyalty rewards, and additional discounts depending on the model. The Tata Curvv EV receives the highest benefits this month, while the Harrier EV, Punch EV, Tiago EV, and Nexon EV also attract significant savings.

Tata Curvv EV Discounts In June 2026

The Tata Curvv EV leads the lineup with benefits of up to ₹3.35 lakh. Select non-X variants receive a ₹3 lakh green bonus along with an exchange benefit of ₹30,000 or a scrappage incentive worth ₹35,000.

Creative variants attract benefits of up to ₹2.85 lakh. Meanwhile, Curvv EV X variants qualify for exchange, scrappage, and loyalty bonuses worth up to ₹65,000. The Curvv EV continues to appeal to buyers with its strong range, performance, and feature-rich package.

Tata Harrier EV Discounts In June 2026

Tata is offering benefits of up to ₹2.75 lakh on all Harrier EV variants. Customers can choose an exchange bonus of ₹50,000 or scrappage benefits worth ₹75,000.

In addition, Tata includes a loyalty bonus of ₹1 lakh and another benefit worth ₹1 lakh. The Harrier EV remains one of the most capable electric SUVs in its segment, thanks to its performance, ride quality, and technology package.

Tata Punch EV Discounts In June 2026

Outgoing versions of the Tata Punch EV receive benefits ranging from ₹95,000 to ₹1.45 lakh. Long Range variants attract the highest discount package of up to ₹1.45 lakh.

Medium Range variants qualify for benefits of up to ₹1.25 lakh, while the MR Smart variant receives offers worth up to ₹95,000. The Punch EV continues to attract urban buyers looking for a compact and practical electric SUV.

Tata Tiago EV Discounts In June 2026

The outgoing Tata Tiago EV also receives substantial discounts this month. Benefits range from ₹65,000 to ₹1.45 lakh across the lineup.

The Tata Nexon EV receives benefits of up to ₹50,000 across all variants. Buyers can avail a ₹15,000 green bonus along with an exchange benefit of ₹25,000.

Alternatively, customers can opt for scrappage benefits worth ₹35,000. Tata does not allow buyers to combine exchange and scrappage incentives. The Nexon EV remains one of the brand’s most popular electric vehicles thanks to its premium cabin and extensive feature list.

Why These Discounts Matter

The offers significantly reduce the effective purchase price of Tata’s electric vehicles. They also help buyers transition from internal combustion vehicles to electric mobility at a lower cost.

Additionally, loyalty rewards and scrappage benefits provide extra value for existing Tata customers and owners looking to replace older vehicles.

Prices In India

The Tata Harrier EV currently serves as Tata’s flagship electric SUV, while the Curvv EV targets buyers seeking a stylish coupe-SUV design.

Meanwhile, the Punch EV, Tiago EV, and Nexon EV continue to cover multiple price points in the mass-market EV segment. Final on-road pricing varies depending on location, variant, and applicable benefits.

Things Buyers Should Know

Discounts vary by city, dealership, and vehicle availability. Certain offers may apply only to specific variants or inventory batches.

Buyers should contact their nearest Tata dealership to confirm the exact benefits available on their preferred model before making a booking.

Conclusion

Tata Motors has introduced some of the largest EV discounts currently available in the Indian market. The Curvv EV leads with benefits of up to ₹3.35 lakh, while the Harrier EV follows closely with offers worth up to ₹2.75 lakh. Customers planning to purchase an electric vehicle in June 2026 can take advantage of these limited-period incentives to secure substantial savings.

The Hyundai Venue receives the smallest benefit package among Hyundai models this month. All variants qualify only for a scrappage benefit worth ₹5,000.

Despite the limited offer, the Venue remains one of Hyundai’s most popular compact SUVs in India.

Prices In India

The Hyundai Creta range starts at ₹10.90 lakh and extends to ₹19.91 lakh (ex-showroom). The Verna is priced between ₹10.99 lakh and ₹18.26 lakh.

Meanwhile, the Creta Electric ranges from ₹18.02 lakh to ₹23.67 lakh. Other models, including the Grand i10 Nios, i20, Exter, Aura, Alcazar, and Venue, continue to cover multiple price segments across the Hyundai portfolio.

Conclusion

Hyundai has introduced substantial discounts across its lineup for June 2026. The Creta offers the highest benefits at up to ₹1 lakh, while the Verna, Creta Electric, and Grand i10 Nios also receive significant incentives. Buyers planning a new Hyundai purchase this month can take advantage of these offers to reduce overall ownership costs.

Audi has unveiled the new Nuvolari, a limited-production plug-in hybrid supercar that will sit at the top of the brand’s performance lineup. The company will build only 499 units worldwide, with each carrying a price tag of 600,000 euros (approximately ₹6.64 crore). Although the Nuvolari shares technology with the Lamborghini Temerario, Audi positions it as a standalone halo model rather than a successor to the iconic R8.

Powertrain & Performance

Audi equips the Nuvolari with a 4.0 L twin-turbocharged V8 engine and three electric motors. The hybrid setup generates a combined output of 1,001 HP.

Power reaches all four wheels through Audi’s Quattro AWD system and an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The supercar accelerates from 0-100 KM/H in 2.6 seconds and reaches 200 KM/H in 6.8 seconds. Audi also claims a top speed exceeding 350 KM/H.

Hybrid Technology & Engineering

The Nuvolari shares its core powertrain with the Lamborghini Temerario. However, Audi has increased overall output and developed its own calibration for the vehicle.

The plug-in hybrid system combines the V8 engine with a 7.3 kWh battery pack and three electric motors. Two motors sit on the front axle, while the third integrates into the gearbox to enhance performance and efficiency.

F1-Inspired Technology

Audi has incorporated several Formula 1-inspired technologies into the Nuvolari. These systems focus on improving performance, efficiency, and vehicle control.

The supercar features active aerodynamics, including adjustable front air intakes and an active rear wing. Audi has also added brake-by-wire technology and an advanced energy management system derived from its motorsport programs.

Exterior Design & Styling

The Nuvolari draws inspiration from the Audi Concept C unveiled in 2025. Slim LED lighting elements, sculpted bodywork, and a wide front grille define its appearance.

Audi has also integrated several design cues from the R8. Large side air intakes, muscular rear haunches, and a tapered bonnet help create a familiar yet modern supercar profile. A Titanium exterior finish further distinguishes the model.

Lightweight Construction

Audi has built the Nuvolari almost entirely from carbon-fibre-reinforced polymer. This lightweight construction helps reduce overall mass while increasing structural rigidity.

The extensive use of CFRP also improves handling and cornering performance. Additional highlights include centre-lock alloy wheels, a large rear diffuser, and a prominent exhaust system.

Interior & Features

The cabin follows a driver-focused approach with a dual-cockpit layout. Audi uses Alcantara, leather, and anodised aluminium throughout the interior.

A digital instrument cluster sits behind a multifunction steering wheel featuring multiple controls and large paddle shifters. The angled centre console houses the infotainment display, vehicle controls, and gear selector buttons.

Comofort & Heritage

Audi offers lightweight sports seats as standard equipment. The raised transmission tunnel separates the driver and passenger areas while reinforcing the car’s performance-oriented design.

The cabin also includes bespoke trim finishes and colour accents inspired by the historic Auto Union Type C race car. These details help connect the Nuvolari with Audi’s motorsport heritage.

Prices In India

Audi has not confirmed plans for an Indian launch. However, the Nuvolari carries a global price of 600,000 euros, equivalent to approximately ₹6.64 crore before taxes and import duties.

If Audi brings the model to India through the CBU route, the on-road price could exceed ₹10 crore due to applicable duties and taxes.

Rivals In India

The Audi Nuvolari enters the ultra-exclusive hybrid supercar segment. Key rivals include the Lamborghini Revuelto, Ferrari SF90 Stradale, and McLaren W1.

These models combine electrified powertrains with extreme performance and limited-production exclusivity.

Conclusion

The Audi Nuvolari introduces a new flagship performance model for the brand. With a 1,001 HP plug-in hybrid powertrain, advanced aerodynamics, carbon-fibre construction, and limited production numbers, the supercar showcases Audi’s latest engineering capabilities. Production will remain limited to 499 units worldwide, making it one of the brand’s most exclusive road cars.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the 2026 Innova Crysta in India with updated styling, new features, and revised pricing. The MPV now starts at ₹19.72 lakh (ex-showroom), making it up to ₹83,000 more expensive than before. Toyota has not made any mechanical changes to the vehicle. Industry reports suggest this could be the final major update before the Innova Crysta exits the market in 2027.

Prices In India

Toyota offers the 2026 Innova Crysta in four trims: GX, GX+, VX, and ZX. Prices start at ₹19.72 lakh for the GX 7-seater and reach ₹26.63 lakh for the top-spec ZX variant.

Buyers can choose between 7-seat and 8-seat layouts on most variants. However, Toyota offers the ZX trim exclusively in a 7-seater configuration with captain seats in the second row.

Exterior Design & Styling

Toyota has refreshed the Innova Crysta with subtle exterior updates. The MPV now features a revised front grille and redesigned chrome bumper garnishes.

The rear bumper also receives updated chrome detailing. Depending on the variant, buyers get automatic LED projector headlamps, halogen fog lamps, and either 16-inch or 17-inch alloy wheels.

Interior & Features

Toyota has introduced a new dual-tone upholstery theme inside the cabin. The company has also added Grace Copper accents on the steering wheel, door trims, and other interior elements.

In addition, Toyota has revised the detailing around the AC controls, switches, and second-row seatback tables. These updates aim to give the cabin a fresher appearance without changing the overall layout.

Comfort & Convenience Features

The feature list varies across variants. Higher trims offer automatic climate control, cruise control, ambient lighting, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an 8-way powered driver’s seat.

Toyota has also added a wireless charger to the VX and ZX variants. Furthermore, the ZX trim now includes a tyre pressure monitoring system for added convenience.

Safety Features

Toyota continues to offer ABS with EBD and Hill Start Assist as standard across the range.

The GX and GX+ variants come equipped with 3 airbags. Meanwhile, the VX and ZX trims receive 7 airbags. This setup allows Toyota to offer different safety packages across the lineup while maintaining essential safety equipment on all variants.

Engine & Gearbox

Toyota has retained the existing powertrain for the 2026 Innova Crysta. The MPV continues to use a 2.4 L diesel engine that produces 150 HP and 343 NM of torque.

The engine works with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Toyota also includes Eco and Power drive modes as standard across all variants.

Rivals In India

The Innova Crysta continues to compete in the premium MPV segment. Key rivals include the Kia Carens, Maruti Suzuki Invicto, and the hybrid-focused Toyota Innova Hycross.

Despite increasing competition, the Crysta remains one of the few diesel-powered MPVs available in the segment.

Conclusion

The 2026 Toyota Innova Crysta receives a modest update focused on styling, features, and cabin enhancements. Toyota has retained the proven diesel engine and practical MPV layout that have defined the model for years. With prices now ranging from ₹19.72 lakh to ₹26.63 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated Crysta continues its run ahead of its expected discontinuation in 2027.

In addition, Tata offers either a ₹10,000 exchange bonus or scrappage benefits worth ₹15,000. Eligible corporate buyers can also claim a ₹3,000 discount.

Prices In India

The Tata Nexon starts at ₹7.37 lakh, while the Curvv range begins at ₹9.70 lakh. The Harrier and Safari start at ₹14.00 lakh and ₹14.75 lakh respectively.

Meanwhile, the Altroz range starts at ₹6.30 lakh, and the Tiago and Tigor continue to serve buyers in the affordable hatchback and compact sedan segments. All prices remain ex-showroom.

Things Buyers Should Know

Offer amounts may vary depending on the city, dealership, and stock availability. Buyers should confirm the final benefits with their nearest Tata dealership before making a purchase decision.

Additionally, corporate discounts cannot be combined with standard consumer benefits in most cases.

Conclusion

Tata Motors has rolled out substantial benefits across its lineup for June 2026. The Nexon and Curvv lead the list with offers worth up to ₹55,000, while the Harrier, Safari, Altroz, Tiago, and Tigor also receive notable discounts. Buyers planning to purchase a Tata vehicle this month can benefit from lower effective prices through these limited-period schemes.

Bentley has unveiled the updated 2026 Flying Spur range, bringing back the sporty S variant alongside the Standard, Azure, Speed, and Mulliner models. The luxury sedan also adopts styling cues from the latest Continental GT and gains several technology upgrades. Bentley will begin production of the new Flying Spur at its Crewe facility in the UK from September 2026.

Powertrain & Performance

Bentley now equips every Flying Spur variant with a 4.0 L twin-turbocharged V8 engine and a plug-in hybrid system. The Standard, Azure, and S variants produce 680 HP and 930 NM of torque.

The Flying Spur S accelerates from 0-100 KM/H in 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 308 KM/H. Meanwhile, the Standard and Azure variants complete the sprint in 3.9 seconds and reach 270 KM/H.

Speed & Mulliner Variants

The Speed and Mulliner models sit at the top of the Flying Spur range. Their plug-in hybrid powertrain generates 782 HP and 1,000 NM of torque.

Both variants sprint from 0-100 KM/H in 3.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 308 KM/H. Bentley pairs every Flying Spur with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.

Electric Range & Chassis Upgrades

In electric-only mode, the powertrain delivers 190 HP and 450 NM of torque. Bentley claims the battery pack provides up to 80 KM of driving range on a single charge.

The Flying Spur S also receives active anti-roll bars and adaptive dampers borrowed from the Speed and Mulliner variants. Bentley says these upgrades improve handling and driving dynamics.

Exterior Design & Styling

The 2026 Flying Spur adopts a more modern appearance inspired by the Continental GT. A large front grille dominates the fascia, while round LED headlights feature distinctive horizontal daytime running lights.

The S variant also receives Bentley’s Blackline Specification. This package adds black finishes to the grille, badges, headlamp surrounds, ORVMs, and exterior trim elements.

Wheels & Exterior Details

Bentley has redesigned the rear section with cleaner surfaces and smoother lines. The updated design creates a more refined appearance without changing the sedan’s overall proportions.

Buyers can choose from new 22-inch wheel designs on the Azure and S variants. Bentley also continues to offer 21-inch wheel options across the range.

Interior & Technology

A 12.3-inch touchscreen comes standard across the lineup. Bentley also offers its rotating display system, which comes standard on the Mulliner and remains optional on other variants.

Wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, USB-C ports, wireless charging, and a multifunction remote control are also available. In addition, Azure and Mulliner variants include a panoramic sunroof as standard equipment.

Luxury Features & Cabin Options

Each Flying Spur variant receives unique interior treatments. The Standard model features Nappa leather upholstery, while the Azure adds exclusive trim elements and additional leather surfaces.

The S variant introduces Dinamica upholstery and S-specific detailing. Meanwhile, the Speed gains performance-focused accents, and the Mulliner receives exclusive stitching, premium materials, and enhanced seat comfort features.

Audio & Comfort Features

Bentley offers three premium audio systems across the Flying Spur range. Buyers can choose between a 650 W Bentley Signature Audio system, a 1,500 W Bang & Olufsen setup, and a 2,220 W Naim for Bentley system.

The flagship Mulliner and Azure variants also include 24-way adjustable front seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, along with 14-way adjustable rear seats.

Prices In India

Bentley has not announced Indian pricing for the 2026 Flying Spur lineup. However, the luxury sedan is expected to command a significant premium over the current generation.

Depending on the variant, prices could start above ₹5 crore (ex-showroom) and rise considerably for the Speed and Mulliner models.

Rivals In India

The 2026 Bentley Flying Spur competes in the ultra-luxury sedan segment. Key rivals include the Rolls-Royce Ghost, Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, and Porsche Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid.

These models combine luxury, technology, and high-performance powertrains for buyers in the premium segment.

Conclusion

The 2026 Bentley Flying Spur range introduces a broader lineup and marks the return of the S variant. With electrified V8 powertrains, updated styling, advanced technology, and expanded customization options, the luxury sedan continues Bentley’s move toward electrified performance while retaining its focus on comfort and long-distance touring.

BMW has unveiled the 2026 M2 with an optional M xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The update gives the compact sports coupe improved traction and quicker acceleration while retaining its familiar performance-focused character. BMW also introduces its new M Ignite combustion technology, which aims to improve efficiency during high-performance driving. The updated M2 will continue to target enthusiasts seeking a balance of everyday usability and track capability.

Powertrain & Performance

BMW continues to power the M2 with a 3.0 L twin-turbocharged straight-six petrol engine. The unit produces 480 HP and 600 NM of torque.

Buyers can pair the engine with BMW’s optional M xDrive AWD system and an 8-speed automatic transmission. As a result, the M2 now accelerates from 0-100 KM/H in 3.7 seconds, improving by 0.3 seconds over the rear-wheel-drive version.

M xDrive AWD System

BMW has engineered the M xDrive system with a rear-wheel-drive bias. Under normal conditions, the system prioritises the rear wheels to preserve the traditional M driving experience.

However, the system can transfer power to the front wheels when additional grip becomes necessary. Drivers can also adjust the setup through the M Setup menu and even select a dedicated 2WD mode for a pure rear-wheel-drive experience.

M Ignite Technology

The 2026 BMW M2 introduces BMW’s patented M Ignite technology. The system uses a small pre-combustion chamber positioned above the main cylinder.

Under heavy loads, the spark plug ignites fuel inside the smaller chamber first. The resulting flame then enters the main combustion chamber. Consequently, the engine burns fuel more efficiently and can sustain high-performance driving for longer periods.

Exterior Design & Styling

BMW has not altered the overall design of the M2. The sports coupe retains its long bonnet, short rear overhangs, and muscular proportions.

The wide stance, flared wheel arches, and pronounced rear haunches continue to define the car’s appearance. BMW also introduces a new Borusan Turkish Blue paint option. Meanwhile, buyers still get 19-inch front wheels and 20-inch rear wheels.

Interior & Features

Inside, the M2 continues with its driver-focused cabin layout. The dashboard features a dual-screen setup that combines the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system.

BMW has also included M-specific graphics, M branding on the flat-bottom steering wheel, and M tricolour accents throughout the cabin. In addition, lightweight carbon bucket seats remain available for buyers who prioritise track-focused performance.

Prices In India

BMW has not announced Indian pricing for the updated M2 with the M xDrive system. Currently, the BMW M2 range starts at approximately ₹1.05 crore and extends to ₹1.66 crore (ex-showroom), depending on the variant.

The AWD-equipped version could command a premium over the standard model if BMW introduces it in India.

Rivals In India

The BMW M2 competes in the premium performance coupe segment. Key rivals include the Porsche 718 Cayman, Toyota GR Supra, and higher-performance variants of the Audi RS 5.

These models offer strong performance credentials and appeal to driving enthusiasts in India.

Conclusion

The 2026 BMW M2 update focuses on improving performance without changing the car’s core character. The addition of M xDrive AWD reduces acceleration times, while M Ignite technology targets greater efficiency during demanding driving conditions. With these updates, BMW continues to refine one of its most popular performance models.

Tata Motors has started testing the upcoming Safari EV on Indian roads. Recent spy shots provide the first clear look at the electric SUV, which will become the flagship EV in Tata’s lineup. The Safari EV will share several components with the recently launched Harrier EV while offering a larger three-row cabin. Tata plans to launch the electric SUV during the festive season of 2026.

Exterior Design & Styling

The test vehicle retains the familiar silhouette of the ICE-powered Safari. However, the absence of an exhaust pipe confirms its electric powertrain.

Spy images also reveal an independent multi-link rear suspension setup similar to the Harrier EV. In addition, the test mule features a side step, a feature unavailable on the standard Safari. Tata will likely add redesigned bumpers, new alloy wheels, and EV-specific badging before launch.

Platform & Architecture

Tata will build the Safari EV on its Acti.ev+ platform. The same architecture also underpins the Harrier EV.

The platform supports advanced electrical systems and connected technologies. As a result, the Safari EV will benefit from improved software integration, enhanced safety systems, and future-ready digital features.

Interior & Features

The cabin will largely mirror the standard Safari’s layout. However, Tata could introduce a unique interior theme to distinguish the electric model.

The SUV will also feature the TiDAL electronic architecture. This system enables over-the-air updates, auto park assist, summon mode, low-speed cruise control, UPI-based in-car payments, and a 540-degree surround-view camera system.

Battery Pack & Performance

Tata is likely to offer the Safari EV with the same battery options as the Harrier EV. Buyers can expect 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery packs.

The rear-wheel-drive version could produce 238 HP and 315 NM of torque. Meanwhile, the dual-motor AWD variant may generate a combined output of 354 HP and 504 NM. The AWD setup will remain exclusive to higher variants.

Range & Driving Capability

The larger size and additional weight of the Safari EV could affect driving range compared to the Harrier EV.

For reference, the Harrier EV delivers a claimed range of 538 KM with the 65 kWh battery pack. The 75 kWh battery offers up to 627 KM in RWD form and 622 KM in AWD form. The Safari EV will likely return slightly lower figures.

Prices In India

Tata Motors has not announced official prices yet. However, industry estimates suggest the Safari EV could start at around ₹22.50 lakh and extend to ₹30 lakh (ex-showroom).

The electric SUV will sit above the Harrier EV in Tata’s portfolio and serve as the brand’s flagship electric SUV.

Rivals In India

The Tata Safari EV will enter the growing premium electric SUV segment. Its primary rival will be the upcoming Mahindra XEV 9S.

Depending on variant and pricing, the Safari EV may also attract buyers considering premium electric SUVs from established domestic and international brands.

Conclusion

The Tata Safari EV marks the next step in Tata Motors’ electric vehicle expansion strategy. By combining three-row practicality, advanced technology, and multiple battery options, the SUV aims to strengthen Tata’s position in India’s EV market. More details regarding specifications, range, and pricing are expected closer to its festive season launch.

Mini India has confirmed the launch of the 2026 Countryman C on June 17, 2026. The new variant expands the Countryman lineup and sits below the performance-focused Countryman JCW All4. As a result, buyers will get a more accessible entry point into Mini’s premium SUV range. Pre-bookings have already started across Mini dealerships in India.

Powertrain & Performance

Mini will equip the 2026 Countryman C with a 1.5 L turbocharged direct-injection petrol engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Although Mini has not released official specifications, the SUV could use the same three-cylinder engine found in the BMW X1. In the X1, the engine produces 136 HP and 230 NM of torque. Therefore, the setup will likely focus on efficiency and daily driving comfort.

Exterior Design & Styling

The Countryman C adopts a design similar to the Countryman Electric while adding a few unique styling elements. Mini has revised the grille and bumper design to distinguish the petrol-powered model.

Buyers can choose from Chilli Red, British Racing Green, Nanuq White, Slate Blue, and Smokey Green. In addition, the SUV features body-coloured door handles, black ORVM housings, black roof accents, alloy wheels, and Matrix LED tail lamps.

Interior & Features

Mini has carried its latest cabin design into the 2026 Countryman C. The interior combines a dual-tone theme with champagne-coloured trim elements.

The SUV will likely offer a circular touchscreen infotainment system, a premium audio system, paddle shifters, a head-up display, and connected car technology. Furthermore, the layout closely follows other recent Mini models sold globally.

Local Assembly & Market Positioning

BMW Group will assemble the 2026 Mini Countryman C at its Chennai manufacturing facility. Consequently, local production should help Mini price the SUV more competitively in India.

The new variant also serves as the entry point into the Countryman lineup. Meanwhile, buyers seeking higher performance can opt for the Countryman JCW All4.

Prices In India

Mini India has not announced the official price of the 2026 Countryman C. However, the SUV will sit below the Countryman JCW All4, which carries an ex-showroom price of ₹64.90 lakh.

Industry estimates place the Countryman C between ₹50 lakh and ₹60 lakh (ex-showroom). Mini will reveal the final pricing closer to launch.

Rivals In India

The 2026 Mini Countryman C enters the premium compact luxury SUV segment. Key rivals include the BMW X1, Audi Q3, and Mercedes-Benz GLA.

These SUVs target buyers who want premium features, compact dimensions, and petrol-powered performance. Therefore, competition in this segment remains strong.

Conclusion

The 2026 Mini Countryman C strengthens Mini’s SUV portfolio in India. The model combines local assembly, a turbo-petrol engine, modern technology, and distinctive styling. As a result, it will offer buyers another option in the premium compact luxury SUV segment when sales begin after its June 17 launch.

Maruti Suzuki has confirmed that it will showcase India’s first flex-fuel passenger vehicle on June 4, 2026, ahead of World Environment Day. The event will take place at the Taj Palace in New Delhi and will be attended by Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari and Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri. The move marks another step in India’s push towards alternative fuels and reduced dependence on fossil fuels.

Flex-Fuel Technology Explained

Flex-fuel vehicles can operate on varying blends of petrol and ethanol, including high-concentration ethanol fuels. According to Nitin Gadkari, Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming vehicle will be capable of running on E100 fuel, which consists of 100 percent ethanol.

This technology aims to reduce emissions while lowering dependence on imported crude oil. Moreover, it supports India’s broader goal of increasing ethanol production through agricultural resources.

Expected Models & Product Plans

Maruti Suzuki has not officially revealed which model will be showcased. However, industry expectations point towards production-ready versions of the Wagon R Flex Fuel and Fronx Flex Fuel.

The Wagon R Flex Fuel prototype first appeared at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. Meanwhile, the Fronx Flex Fuel prototype was displayed at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. Both vehicles have already demonstrated Maruti’s progress in flex-fuel technology.

Government Support For Ethanol Adoption

The Indian government continues to promote biofuels as part of its long-term energy strategy. Gadkari has repeatedly highlighted the benefits of ethanol-based fuels, including lower emissions and reduced fuel import costs.

Additionally, increased ethanol production can create new opportunities for farmers. The government believes wider adoption of biofuels could strengthen India’s energy security while supporting rural economies.

Maruti Suzuki’s Flex-Fuel Readiness

Maruti Suzuki says it already possesses the technology required for future flex-fuel vehicles. During the company’s 2026 earnings call, senior executives confirmed that the manufacturer is prepared to support higher ethanol blends whenever market demand increases.

However, the company also acknowledged that adoption may remain limited initially. Significant growth is expected over the next five to ten years as fuel infrastructure expands across the country.

Fuel Infrastructure Remains A Challenge

While vehicle technology is ready, fuel availability remains a key hurdle. E100 fuel stations are currently limited across India, making widespread adoption difficult in the short term.

As a result, the success of flex-fuel vehicles will depend not only on automakers but also on the development of a nationwide ethanol distribution network. Greater infrastructure coverage will be necessary before these vehicles become mainstream.

Prices In India

Maruti Suzuki has not announced pricing details for its upcoming flex-fuel vehicle. Since the showcased model is expected to be based on existing products such as the Wagon R or Fronx, prices could remain close to their conventional petrol counterparts.

Official pricing and variant details are likely to be revealed closer to the vehicle’s market launch.

Rivals In India

Several manufacturers are already working on flex-fuel technology for the Indian market. Companies including Toyota, Tata Motors, Mahindra, and Honda have showcased flex-fuel prototypes in recent years.

As ethanol adoption grows, competition in this segment is expected to increase significantly over the coming decade.

Conclusion

Maruti Suzuki’s June 4 showcase will mark an important milestone for alternative fuel mobility in India. With support from the government and growing interest in ethanol-based transportation, flex-fuel vehicles could become a larger part of the automotive landscape. However, widespread adoption will depend on the expansion of ethanol fuel infrastructure and consumer acceptance in the years ahead.
