]]> So this is my personal blog – my “mommy blog” so to speak. But it will be more than just Mom stuff (for more on me check out my About page).

So why the title Because I’m More Than Just Joey’s Mom?

Well, a while ago Little Dude and I were at the home improvement store with my father. Daddy is there almost on a daily basis (he’s a handy-man) so of course we didn’t get far into the store before someone stopped him to chat.

He introduces Little Dude: “This is my grandson Joey”.

Then he introduces me: “This is Joey’s Mom.”

WHAT? SERIOUSLY? I’m your daughter. I’m your first born child!

From that day on I’ve reminded him of who I am: I’m Cara, More Than Just Joey’s Mom.
