I am lucky because I am head strong and determined so these qualities have really helped me out. So much has changed lately, its not easy to get my head around everything. Staying occupied and active helps, thinking is not a good idea, so I avoid it, I watch movies and write silly ramblings on a daily basis ensuring I am positive and I smile, always smiling, its actually become a habit… so has smoking… which I need to address really. Change is good, its hard and often sad and upsetting, you always have doubts and for a long while you are likely to be scared. I hadn’t cried in a long time, but today I did, it’s been a long time coming and I hope is passes soon. For anyone out there feeling scared or sad, things happen for a reason, I don’t believe they happen for a divine reason, just because we are who we are and things happen no matter how much we try to avoid or stop them, they will happen and people will get hurt, its not easy and crying is okay. So cry, cry hard and when you’re done smile!!

Well I cannot actually remember how long it was when I wrote my last (boring) post. I have been listening to HIM and it seems to have got my creative juices flowing once again. I must thank Li for getting me listening to HIM, she has been a dedicated fan for a long time. I must say that I am intrigued by Ville Valo, he is this beautifully talented person who I would love to sit and have a few coffees with. I am not sure what it is about him but I am hooked on his music and will fall asleep every night listening to that deep Finnish voice, it soothes me and excites me at the same time. Should Ville ever see this - would you like to go for a coffee? Anyhow, now that I have that out of the way, it is time to continue with my yet to be titled book, it was steaming along but somewhere along the way I think life took up too much of my time. My need to write is back and have so many ideas buzzing around my head, I need to get them all down on paper. I am so pleased my creative energy is back and flowing, keeps me out of trouble.

So for now, good bye, but it will not be long before I grace these pages again.

He is best known for his role  as the rich yet very lovable Logan Huntzberger, boyfriend of Rory in the Gilmore Girls. Since the show ended he appeared in Friday Night Lights (which I have never watched) and he is playing Tucker Max in Tucker Max’s film adaptation of his book I hope they serve beer in hell - IHTSBIH due to be released in the USA sometime this year.

He is obviously talented and known to be a very genuine guy, I just wish that he would get cast as a regular in something soon!! I can only watch so much of the Gilmore Girls to get my Matt fix! Lets get him a regular spot in Damages or Grey’s he is definitely good enough and he is really cute to boot!!!

What would be really cool is a new show with Logan, Finn and Colin. I guess I can dream!!

She has decided she needs to face her fear. It is time she realises she has greatness inside her, real potential to be a success.

Her biggest fear is failing. So far in life she has avoided failure - by never trying to begin with. Things have changed lately, Isabella - Izzy - has started to do things that she cares about, things she loves and she really hopes it will work out. Don’t get me wrong, she knows it will be hard, that she has to really put all her efforts into it but she has a good feeling about this.

Her world has so much to offer, she is finally making the most of everything that comes her way. Failure has become her motivation, her challenge; it no longer holds her back. The possibility of success for her isn’t such a ridiculous prospect now. There are so many others out there, living the lives that they have chosen, great lives, passionate and full lives!! Now it is Izzy’s turn to live like that. With her friends around her, her mind open and prepared for change - she is ready to start over; to be the person she should be.

For her, this dream is a pretty big deal, but she is really scared of what might happen if she pursues it. She knows it won’t come easy, but there is this very real fear of failure, its funny but she even fears any success that might come her way. If she fails she needs a new dream, if she succeeds, what will she have to give up, what challenges are waiting for her? These are just a few of her questions.

This girl… she sees how other people have made a real success of their lives, it’s inspired her to make a go of her life. She hasn’t been living, she has merely existed, always taking the easy option and now, now she knows that something has to change. If there are so many successful people out there, who have followed their dreams, lived their lives, people who live with no regrets, who faced the fear, why can’t she be one of them!? She knows she has some real potential and so do the people around her.

Just existing is not an option anymore, years have been wasted, always doing what others expected of her, having no real passion for anything she ever did because it wasn’t what she wanted to do. Partly because she likes Harry Potter and mentioned that the guy who played Cedric Diggory was playing one of the lead characters and also because another friend told me it was about vampires and I do quite like the fantasy genre. At this point I had no idea just how huge Twilight was in the USA (the film or the books) so went along with no real expectations. For me the first thing that really got my attention was the music, I went home and downloaded the score and the soundtrack, both of which are excellent. The film was really good with the added bonus that the cast are easy on the eye, which is a plus.

As these things happen, once you have heard of something, you seem to hear more about it. Turned out that the books are a cult over in the USA for teen girls. With a trip home to my parents for Christmas (a very quiet village with nothing to do) I thought I would try the books for size. Stephenie Meyer, writer of the Twilight saga has one creative mind!

In the sleeve of the final book Breaking Dawn is her website address and I was curious enough to take a look. Here I discovered that the Twilight saga came from a dream she had. I have to say that I found this to be quite fascinating. Four books were created after she had a dream! If you are curious, she dreamed about the meadow scene and it all grew from there.

The story is about Bella Swan, a very ordinary girl who falls in love with a vampire. Then there is Edward Cullen. The ‘vegetarian’ vampire who falls in love with Bella. He makes for quite the torn hero, the whole I love her but want to eat her thing cannot have been easy to get across on the big screen. I had heard somewhere (I cannot remember where) that Robert Pattinson had received a lot of negative mail from fans of the books saying he would not make a good Edward Cullen.

Now I would just like to finish off with this; in my humble opinion Robert Pattinson brought Edward Cullen to the big screen perfectly. He nailed it actually, I cannot fault him and I do hope that his sucess continues, he is talented, gorgeous and it’s really great that we have a brit doing so well in Hollywood.

Children as young as 5 were expelled from schools last year for sexual bullying.  A 5 and 6 year old were caught trying to elope to Africa. I ask you… what on earth is going on??? I don’t know about you guys but when I was 5 and at school there was nothing like that going on, I wanted a pony and a sleep over with my best friend. I am truly curious and in truth quite disturbed as to why these very young children are behaving like this? The more scary of the two news stories that caught my attention has to be the sexual bullying at school, ranging from a few sexual comments to out about rape! PARENTS - what the hell are you teaching your children so that they think its acceptable to do this?? This post really could go on and on about how lapse these children’s parents must be for such young children to be acting in this way but I do not want to get into that now. This is all pretty disturbing and I really hope that for the sake of the victims that schools and parents act right away to get this under some sort of control.
