The 2012 Mercedes B-Class will be coming with a longer wheelbase, a Mercedes-Benz GLK-like grille, a panoramic glass sunroof and a tailgate-mounted spoiler. We also get a peek of the interior from one of the photos. But, unfortunately, we only get to see the rear seatbacks and the front armrest.

The new 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Class will be sportiest yet as a high-performance AMG variant was confirmed by the tuning arm’s outgoing boss Volker Mornhinweg late last month. AMG currently offers V-8 engines, but for the B-Class a new specially tuned four-cylinder engine will be developed.

The current Mercedes-Benz B-Class has enjoyed reasonable success in most of the markets. But the next-generation model due in 2011 is expected to sell in even higher volumes.

Finally, Rotary Supers Cars (RSC) has come up with all new Predator GT following heavy criticism that the Raptor GT was just an altered copy of Ferrari 599XX.

Powered by a four-rotor Wankel engine based on the Mazda 13B MSP that develops up to 1,200 PS (883 kW / 1184 hp), Predator GT adopts a Lamborghini-esque styling. Further, the engine will be connected to an eight-speed sequential transmission, which enables the 1,100 kg (2,425 lb) supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than three seconds.

As of now, there has been no official announcement on when the new model will be out. The company had also planned to unveil a Raptor GT prototype in late 2010, which never happened. Hence there is only limited room for speculation!

The studio was inspired by the elements of a dragon to transform this exotic and powerful vehicle into something customised. The Asian customer could identify with the Chinese year of the dragon and so it was used as the main theme of the project. The concept was was immediately approved and Vilner started working on the interior design.

The design revolved around the form of a dragon, embroidered on the car’s roof and in the trunk, which was covered with Alcantara. Inside, the body of the dragon winds itself around the seats, and passes through the centre console. This effect was reinforced by the relief effects from the combination of the embroidery on leather. Even the detail on the seats, doors and centre console mimics that of the scales of the dragon’s skin.

Every single element of the dragon’s body was hand-drawn by the designer. This is the only way the dragon in the GTR could appear as realistic as possible.

Vilner remained faithful to its own pure style, and used black as a base, combining it with black Alcantara and black carbon leather. The dashboard, door panels and black console are a continuation of this unique style.

The red piping highlights the shape of the seats and compliments the dragon on the roof and the red decorative seams on the dashboard. The steering wheel and gear shifter are made of carbon with some minor details painted in red chrome.

The red elements are hardly random as it is the original colour of the car, which received a white mat foiling finish.

The exhaust pipes are made of titanium, with the originals having been increased from 440whp to 530whp.

A McLaren official has been quoted as saying that between the various models under development, the company will have something new about once a year. Though the official hasn’t given us much specifications, we guess he cemented the fact that company would “stick to building two-seat sports cars.”

Previous reports and rumors had suggested that future McLaren line up involves a MP4-12C convertible, an entry-level Porsche 911 fighter and an F1 revival. Apart from this we are expecting hybrid and high performance variants too.
