Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I’ve decided to go ahead and post the last few cards here today since Christmas Eve is tomorrow and obviously Christmas on Wednesday. I know I will be enjoying the holiday festivities with my family as will many of you I am sure. I didn’t have a chance to the fancy photo editing with these last few; but I hope you enjoy them nonetheless.

Have a very Merry Christmas everyone and enjoy your New Year festivities. I will be back probably the second week of January or so with new creations to share and inspire.

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was quiet; but good. We are headed into the last week before the holidays and I just have shopping left to do and wrapping! I’m a little behind; but thank goodness for Amazon Prime, right?!

Anyhow, here is the card for Day 18. I used a new background stamp from Simon Says Stamp and colored it with Copics in some bright fun colors and also made it a shaker card.

I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was good but very busy, so I am having a nice relaxing Monday with some quiet time and Hallmark Christmas movies

Here is the card for Day 13. I layered a lot of die cuts around the edges for this one! The sentiment is heat embossed with copper embossing powder and I also added a few die cut snowflakes.

I missed posting yesterday so I’m here with a quick post to share Day 12. This card couldn’t be any simpler...just some fun Christmas patterned paper and some chipboard alphabet gold letters and it was done!

We hosted our first holiday party yesterday and our second one is tonight, so I’m off to restock, replenish and reorganize for the next round of festivities.

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend. Ours was busy; but lots of fun with great food and time well spent with family. The house is decorated, Alexa is geared up with holiday music, the holiday essential oils are diffusing throughout the house and I am continuing with my holiday baking. Gosh, I just love this time of year!

I’m back with today’s card for Day 9. I was inspired by a card I saw during a blog hop for Simon Says Stamp early in the season. I really like the white snowflake dry stencil emboss on white card stock and then an extra touch with the die cut snowflakes as well. I added the red glitter letters and the two simple sentiments on top and bottom using versamark and white embossing powder.

25 Days of Christmas Cards: Day 7

Hi Everyone!

Welcome back to my 25 Days of Christmas Cards series for 2019! We have reached day 7 and this card features die cut inlays using Simon Says Stamp snowflakes. This snowflake die cuts a number of smaller snowflakes at once. I used the white snowflakes on other projects; but decided to save the negative space to use later and that’s how this card came to be. I cut additional snowflakes from other sparkly paper and inlayed them into the various negative spaces.
I added a simple holiday sentiment at the bottom and then I realized it needed a small extra touch to just finish it off, so I added the gold cord.

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend. Ours was great! We took a little family trip up to Washington DC to see “A Christmas Carol” at Ford’s Theater. It was so good and we all enjoyed it very much! Then the next day we visited a couple of museums before heading back home. Just a quick trip; but well worth the family time together. I thought I would share a family photo of us at the theater!

Ok, well back to our regularly scheduled program! Day 6 of the 25 Days of Christmas cards. This is another card featuring a cross-stitch background. I saw this color combination on pinterest and I really liked it; but I wasn’t quite sure if I was going to like it with the thread. I really had to think about how I wanted to alternate the colors. I was rather pleased with the end result, however! I wanted to keep the focus on the background, so I just did a simple silver embossed sentiment in the center.

That is all for today, my friends! I am off to start making cookie dough for the CRAZY amount of holiday baking I’m doing this holiday season! I mean, seriously I try not to think too much about how much I have to do because it kinda panics me when I do!

Hi Everyone!

I’m so sorry I haven’t posted lately! Life has just been super busy for me and it is going to continue to get even busier through this week. I have decided to just post the last few pictures I have for non-card holiday items today.
The first item I have to share today are these adorable hot cocoa envelopes. Super easy to put together and just a fun way to give a simple gift to someone.

Next I have these simple gift card holders. I have made these several times in the past and they are a popular item on Pinterest.

Holiday Wine Tags

Hi Everyone!

I am back again today with some festive wine tags that are perfect to dress up your holiday wine bottles. They are a great way to add a something a little extra to a hostess gift as well. I found the directions for these on Pinterest. A quick search will lead you to a lot of different options. They are quick, easy to make and fun!

A quick note about the wine picture with the bottle. I wanted to photograph the tag on a bottle and I didn’t have a “pretty place” to stand the bottle. I haven’t decorated my house yet for Christmas, sooo...my fall pumpkin patch table was my best option!

Easy Self-Adhesive Holiday Tags

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I am back today with another item I’ll be sharing in my vendor fair event later this month. I made these simple self adhesive gift tags by die-cutting some thin cardboard (cereal/cracker boxes etc) as well as the same size from various holiday pattern paper. In addition, I also cut out another die cut from the pattern paper so I could die cut inlay another shape inside of it. This was all in efforts to make the tags as one-layered as possible. I also die cut the base shape from some self adhesive sticker paper. When I attached the sticker paper, I used adhesive on the non-adhesive side to adhere it to the cardboard die cut, leaving the self adhesive side with the release paper on the outside. I like these tags because they’re a little more sturdier than just paper tags and would be great way to dress up a simple hostess gift or other special gift.
Another super simple project, so not really a whole lot else to say about these. I am hoping to maybe whip up a few more of these before my event.
