Happy New Year to you all! 

What a wonderful year this is going to be.  This is our tenth year in operation.  During this time we have had around 6,000 people take part in training with us.  When you consider that there are around 3,500 people employed in care and support in our Region at any one time, that is quite an accomplishment!  Some may have only done a half day’s training but most will have done several days with us and even completed their SVQ in Health and Social Care.  We are going to be celebrating this in March and inviting our most loyal customers to celebrate this with us.  Look out for your invitation in the post.

The SVQ e-portfolio system has many benefits for Learners/Candidates. Learners study when they want, where they want. There are no bulky paper-based portfolios to manage or store. The e-portfolio is based online, accessible via an internet browser. The system is intuitive to use with minimal training required. Learners can track their own progress at all times, having instant access to course materials and resources. Learners can easily upload evidence into their e-portfolio and communicate with their Assessor. The Learners can also interact in a moderated way with others on their course.
