So the rumor goes like this. Phelps and Brittny Gastineau were seen in Los Angeles together this past Friday night and then shopping together the following morning at a nearby mall. At 28, Gastineau has three years on the 14 medal Olympian.

Story in the Los Angeles Times recently put Phelps with Miss California Carrie Prejean.

Phelps looks like he just woke up or attended a party in North Carolina. Prejean looks like someone who spotted a famous guy in the lobby of a hotel and had a friend take a quick picture to prove it to the folks back home.

Guess where the picture was allegedly taken?

Los Angeles Times has published a photo of their first weekend activities. Sure looks like they were friendly last September at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas.

Bzzzt! Sorry! The Palms is where our Caroline Caz Pal works.

Either A) the Times had the wrong hotel or B) Phelps took a quick picture before heading upstairs to the Moon nightclub to see long time girlfriend CazPal.

Phelps spends a lot of time in Vegas (for good reason) and probably runs into all sorts of famous and infamous personalities. Some he hangs out with while others he just meets and greets.

Regardless, I think there is something to the whole Prejean and Phelps things. I am sure they have hung out in the past few months, but Phelps continues to be seen more often and in more places with Caroline.

We all know gold medal winner Michael Phelps likes the ladies. There have been a number of famous faces associated with the super Olympian - actresses, models and sports stars.

But one constant remains - our Caroline Caz Pal is the one Michael is stuck with for over a year. The two have been dating since last year and nearly every month, they make appearances together coast to coast! Caroline is apparently cool with Mike's extended social life. After all, she is her own gal and obviously has the confidence to hang with the best of them.

Now the news from Kali:

Miss California runner up (and thorn in Perez' side) Carrie Prejean has allegedly been dating Phelps for the past few months. While it is reported casual (baseball games and lunch says Prejean grandmother), Prejean reportedly "likes him (Phelps)" and "when he is in town, calls her and they go out".

California is real close to Las Vegas like next door. Dating a celebrity in New York or Bejing is one thing, but one state over?

I hope Prejean doesn't do a grocery store opening or appearance in Sin City anytime soon!

For the first time since the Caroline Caz Pal-less bong incident, Phelps was out partying, this time while visiting Mother Phelps in New York City.

Naturally, he brought along what is described on one site as his "mail order bride" our Caroline Caz Pal. (Sell me the book of stamps that will bring Caz to MY HOUSE!).

As party goers witnessed, Phelps was drinking straight from a bottle of Grey Goose and dancing so much he went shirtless at one point. And there was plenty of PDA with our Caz..

I received this little email the other day..

I\'ve been a fan of your site since it first began, when word spread that Michael Phelps started dating Caroline \"Caz\" Pal. I always anticipate looking forward to coming to your site to see any news on their relationship and you don\'t ever disappoint.

First, thank you for writing. I have been disappointed too with the lack of news. I actually made a trip to Vegas last month and visited the Palms and Lavo looking for stories and pictures. Guess what? I ended up having my camera taken up!

Here is what we know:

- Phelps is playing it safe after losing his Kellogs deal.

- Phelps is still seeing Caz. They are keeping it on the QT while the media follows the Swimmer around looking for incriminating pictures.

- There are no public plans for a CazPal wedding yet.. but don't be surprised if something happens by this summer.

- Phelps is concentrating on his swimming right now until his probation winds down.

- Phelps is still working on his poker game in Vegas. That puts him squarely with Caz.

Don't worry. I keep my eyes and ears open for more stories. And I am returning to Vegas with a new camera next month.

Caroline Caz Pal was never a "stripper". She is a cocktail hostess at the Palms Hotel and Casino, specifically at the Moon nightclub.

Caroline Caz Pal has been in some racy pictures. Big deal..

Michael Phelps and Caroline Caz Pal have a fun relationship. They hang out, party, travel and have a good time together. Considering they are both twenty-somethings, it is pretty normal.

Micheal Phelps will get past this minor crisis in his life. But to blame Caroline or point the finger of blame at her is BS.

Michael Phelps and girlfriend, Caroline Caz Pal, partied the night away at trendy nightclub, Lavo.

Lavo, can be found at the Palazzo, part of the Venitian Hotel and casino.

Caroline Caz Pal, who works in Las Vegas at the Palms Hotel and Casino's Moon nightclub, and Phelps, 8 gold medal Olympian swimmer, hosted about 20 close friends at Lavo for a night of dining and dancing.

Phelps and Pal enjoyed each others company in a closed VIP section where the two danced the night away.

Phelps has spent so much time in Vegas lately, between dates with Caroline and practicing his poker game, many are wondering when he will get some permanent digs in Sin City.

Once he finds a suitable abode, there is only one little woman who can make a house a home.. right Caroline?

I studied this picture carefully and compared it to a horrendous photo fake provided by the "pooperatzis" last month and no it is not the same girl.

In fact, it looks very much our CCPal we all know and love.

The girl in the photo is about the right height and build (i.e. not fat like that other girl).

It sure looks like they are holding hands too.. Always a nice touch when traveling.

Yes, I feel pretty sure this is CC, but I reserve the right to revoke my judgement at a future date.

The group arrived at the club around 1 a.m., and when the Olympian entered, everybody noticed. "His presence was larger than life," a source says. Phelps was happy to high-five his fans before holding court in SET's Trophy Room with his pals.

Olympic swimming ace Michael Phelps, drawing a crowd Monday while playing poker with some big boys at the Palms. He showed up at Lavo (Palazzo)Tuesday with girlfriend Carolynn "Caz" Pal, the Moon cocktail server.

Yeah, Phelps is single.

With all the press about Caroline, the pictures, the rumors and stories (and the bad implications with that person at the airport - whatever!), CazPal is still The One.

I am telling you, Michael is ready to settle down, play some poker and have a galpal like CazPal to do it all with.

After yesterday's rumor that marriage is in the cards for Michael Phelps and Caroline Caz Pal, we here a very disturbing story from the news.

Is a break up in the works for Caz Pal, our favorite Las Vegas celebrity and her Olympian sweetheart, Michael Phelps.

After that horrendous photo of Michael Phelps with some woman set up as a fake Caroline Caz Pal, Phelps appeared on a popular morning talk show.

The The Regis and Kelly Show, after being asked about that photo and the woman in the picture, Phelps denied knowing the woman in the picture..

Phelps also confirmed to Ripa that he was no longer seeing Pal: “I’m not seeing anyone now.”

Uh-oh.

So what is the deal?

We shall soon find out.

Personally, I am going with the marriage option to Caz Pal myself. After seeing her it makes complete sense, doesn't it?

Michael Phelps, super Olympic wunderkind and boy all American, has dropped the hint that marriage to Caroline Caz Pal, our favorite Las Vegas celebrity, may be coming sooner rather than later!

If so, congrats to Caz Pal! Woo hoo!

In an article dated December 15, 2008 in the Daily Star, Phelps reveals through friends that Caz may be the ONE:

But Phelps is now telling pals he has found the perfect mate in Caroline and may even dive into marriage with the babe he met while playing poker at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas.

And there's more..

Phelps has a string of promotional gigs lined up in Vegas and Caroline is expected to give up her waitress job so she can be with him full-time.

Mom and Dad Phelps are not too happy it seems..

This poor fake picture of Phelps, super Olympian, and some woman alleged to be Caroline Caz Pal, our favorite Las Vegas personality, has emerged on a few celebrity sites.

Yes, that is Michael Phelps. The woman next to him is some other gal who is Asian and otherwise, has no resemblance to Caz Pal at all.

Even Phelps commented on another website, "I have no idea who that woman is!"

Apparently, the paparazzi have a paid person walk next to celebrities in order to sell the picture to magazines and websites.

What a joke.

Poor girl. She doesn't hold a candle to Caroline Caz Pal. I know I would hate to have that job!

In a recent interview with Matt Lauer, Phelps, the wonder boy of the 2008 Summer Games in Bejing and love interest of Caroline "Caz" Pal was asked if he (Phelps) was still single? Or was he dating CazPal?

“I’ll just leave it up in the air,” Phelps said in the green room, a slight blush rising to his cheeks. “Things get blown out of proportion, I’ll tell you that.”

Uh-oh.

First, Michael Phelps makes very clear who he is NOT dating such as Amanda Beard.

In a recent article in the Las Vegas Review Journal, the girlfriend of Michael Phelps, Caroline Caz Pal finally opens up to the press.

Millions of Phelps fans want to know the story about the relationship between the 8 time gold medal winner of the 2008 Bejing games and Pal, the cocktail waitress at the Moon nightclub at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Caroline Caz Pal, who has been featured now is several provocative pictures online, is defending her actions and not spending too much time talking about her relationship with Phelps.

In a play on words describing her time in the public eye, Pal says "It's been like living in a fish tank the last couple days, with people tapping on the glass and me just trying to swim in little circles, like Nemo."

Further, Pal says the image online is not the image she was raised with..

"My parents are very conservative. I was testing their limits by being crop-top, miniskirt-wearing waitress."

Caroline Caz Pal sets the record straight on this photo and says she is the victim of the press!

Caroline Caz Pal, once just a waitress at the Moon Bar at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas and now the mucho popular girlfriend of Olympic Super Swimmer, Michael Phelps wants to set the record straight in an article in the Las Vegas Review Journal today.

In the interview, Pal said She's "never shot topless photos, ever. No topless, no stripping," Pal, 26, said in her first interview

This comes after Pal and Phelps allegedly spent the Thanksgiving weekend with Mother Phelps in Baltimore last week.

Pal says about this photo and others like them ""think my implied photos are topless photos and they are not. They are not nude. They are just implied."

"Those photos are not a statement of who I am," Pal said.

Pal gets creative and claims "I was holding my arms across myself (breasts), and they put a big bar across my arms to make it appear I was full frontally topless."

Pal goes on to say she "did not know who Phelps was when they met". Phelps apparently sent her a "message" which started the whole relationship. Nothing more on what happened next was revealed by Pal.

Pal did say the "storm of publicity has been hard on her" including the "photos splashed all over the web".

Along with the announcement, numerous news outlets are spending more time on Phelps' superstar girlfriend, Caz Pal, and her rowdy past.

The Chicago Sun Times reports an unnamed "chum" of the 8 gold medal Olympic medalist says Phelps is having fun and "not serious" about Caroline Caz Pal.

Caroline Caz Pal has been reportedly dating Phelps for the past couple of months and works as a cocktail waitress at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas.

Supposedly, the "chum" says that Phelps is dating a number of different girls and Pal is one of them.

Phelps, he says, is concerned with his All American image and the value it holds with advertisers.

Don't expect them to get too serious says the friend.
