Beth Paretta has been breaking boundaries in the automotive world for years, since joining what was then Fiat Chrysler Alfa Romeo (FCA) in 2011 as the director of marketing and operations for SRT (Street and Racing Technology), FCA’s high-performance and motorsports arm. While there, she took the Dodge and SRT teams racing and winning. Her teams earned three national titles, including the Dodge Viper teams’ GTLM Championship in the IMSA series, the Pro TransAm TA2 championship, and the Xfinity and Monster Energy Cup NASCAR Championship, with Team Penske. As the first female director of performance and motorsports for a major car company, Paretta knows how challenging it can be for women in the auto business (and motorsports is very much a business). She also reveals her unique insights into how both the auto and motorsports industries are changing in the face of electrification and future technologies.
