thats nuts! Poor ED! I saw it on a&e and i didn't think he looked like a killer, i like his scars. I thought he was hot I hoped he was innocent. Media and police just look for the fastest fix to the problem, not the right one. GOOD LUCK ED!

Any loss is hard. We lost two cats this past year - one of whom was also named Winnie. I know what you're going through.

I am so sorry for your loss. Blessings to your family.

I wanted to share something my sister sent me when I lost my beloved Sally Cat in 2007 after 18 years.

It really helped me then, and again when we had to let our Gabbycat go just this past January.
The following is from "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery:

Andy,
Read about your handsome, elegant Winnie on Twitter. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. He looks like he was an amazing kitty. My boy Stanley has feline kidney disease and I cherish everyday with him because he too is on "borrored time." Your tribute to Winnie was so beautiful.

Andy
I am so sorry - I dread the days when Pussee, Jay and Mildred go.

Every day with them is precious.

When people say - it's only a cat or a dog - they just don't know how attached we become.

Big hugs to you all

My thoughts are with you, Andy. We had to let our cat of many years go last fall and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. They do have good lives with us, and we all have our time, but it's still so hard.

Best wishes and take solace in the knowledge that you did the right thing, even if it was the hardest thing.

Andy, so sorry to hear of your loss. My cat is also named Winnie. It was the name she had when I found her at the Washington Animal Rescue League (www.warl.org) 6 years ago. She too is an orange Tabby. They are amazing companions with "dog-like" traits to some exent.

Sending my best to you and yours. I alsways tell people that cats are good for the soul. Your heartfelt words and tribute a
