Mansory has revealed their tuning package for the Ferrari 458 spider, dubbed the Mansory Monaco Edition, only three examples of this 458 Spider will be sold and it’s basically the same Siracusa 458 package which was revealed in Geneva earlier this year.

The bodywork is completely made of carbon fiber. It consists of a restyled front apron with air inlets for the front coolers, a new bonnet, and side skirts with integrated ducts to feed even more cooling air to the engine. At the back is a rear skirt with integrated diffuser and a rear wing. Carbon blades replace the rear window and the total weight-savings, thanks to the use of carbon fiber, is 60 kg (132 lbs).

Engine performance upgrades includes a reprogrammed ECU, sports air filer and sport exhaust which translates into 590 HP (434 kW / 582 bhp) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque. 0 to 100 km/h takes place in 3.2 seconds and top speed is 330 km/h (205 mph).

Chassis improvements feature new shock absorbers and 20mm lowering springs while Mansory offers forged rims with central locking in 9×11 and 11×21 dimensions with Michelin PS2 tires in 245/35ZR-20 and 305/30ZR-21 sizes.

Mansory is known to offer extroverted interiors and the Monaco Edition is no exception. It features leather and Alcantara trimmed in a red and white diamond theme which are the colors of the principality.

Lexus recently loaned Professional skateboarder Tony Hawk  a brand new 2012 Lexus LFA for his birthday.

Instead of driving the car around for a couple days, Hawk decided to jump over it with his skateboard and then inform the world via Twitter.

This video recording of the event shows that Hawk relied on a small ramp to get sufficient ‘air’ to jump over the car, but it’s still fun to watch.

Hawk hasn’t mentioned if he’s interested in buying one of Lexus’ $375,000 LFA supercars but he certainly is a fan of the brand, having already purchased a LS 600h and SC 430, both of which he had modified.

First unveiled at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show, Lexus’ LFA supercar is one of the fastest production cars currently on sale. In standard trim the car develops 552 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque from its naturally-aspirated 4.8-liter V-10 engine and when equipped with its optional Nürburgring Package will lap the famous German race track the package is named after in just 7:14.64.

Earlier today, German Special Customs revealed a new tuning kit for the Mercedes CLS63 AMG. Their program updates the looks of the high-performance four-door coupe and increases its performance considerably.

Powered by the standard 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine, the GSC Mercedes CLS63 AMG develops 750 hp and 1,150 Nm of torque. This is 232 hp and 452 Nm of torque more than the stock vehicle. Now this is a power upgrade! To get the extra horsepowers, the engineers swapped the CLS63′s air intercooler with a water cooler, and gave it bigger turbos and a bespoke exhaust system. The awesome power of the GSC Mercedes CLS63 AMG translates into a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time of just 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h. The GSC Mercedes CLS63 AMG comes equipped with a set of 20-inch alloys, an adjustable KW coilover suspension and Continental tires.

GSC’s body kit for the Mercedes CLS63 AMG includes a more aggressive front bumper with integrated LED DRLs, a new hood, mud guards, and side skirts. The rear of GSC’s Mercedes CLS63 AMG shows a newly designed bumper with an integrated carbon fiber diffuser and a four-tailpipe exhaust.

The Italian tuners from Novitec Rosso revealed their aftermarket program for the Ferrari 458 Spider. Novitec’s Ferrari 458 Spider comes modified visuals and quite a serious power upgrade. Instead of the standard 570 hp, the Novitec 458 Spider develops 609 hp / 448 kW at 9,100 rpm and 569 Nm of torque at 5,400 rpm. To get the extra stallions out of the 4.5-liter V8 engine, Novitec installed a new carbon-fiber air box and a new exhaust system made from INCONEL (a material used in Formula 1). The new exhaust includes two high-performance manifolds, sport catalysts and a rear muffler. Novitec also remapped the 458′s ECU.

The Novitec Ferrari 458 Spider is rated with a top speed of 325 km/h. Unfortunately, its 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint time is not known at the moment. The Novitec Ferrari 458 Spider sits on 21- and 22-inch light alloy wheels, and a hydraulic suspension system, which allows the car to be lifted and lowered. The new body kit of the Novitec 458 spider, which was developed in the wind tunnel of the University of Stuttgart, includes a new front spoiler, carbon side skirts, a rear diffuser and a rear wing. Other carbon fiber parts include various ornaments, and trim parts. The new suspension system of the Novitec Ferrari 458 Spider allows the supercar to be lifted by 40 mm, or lowered by 35 mm.

At the interior, Novitec swapped various trim parts of the 458 Spider and replaced them with carbon fiber ones. The price of Novitec’s new kit has not been announced.

Porsche has officially put the finishing touches on the first prototypes of the company’s 918 Spyder, complete with a black-and-white livery scheme that pays homage to the 917 racers of old. Production is set to commence in a little over a year, and the German sportscar manufacturer says buyers can look forward to taking possession of the first examples by the end of 2013. The plug-in hybrid will command a heady price tag, though. Porsche has confirmed the company will ask a whopping $845,000 per model, each with a 500 horsepower 4.0-liter V8 engine and two electric motors.

Altogether, the gas-electric drivetrain should be good for a 3.1-second 0-60 sprint and a top speed of 199 mph. Perhaps even more impressive is the news that the 918 will be able to propel itself with electric power at speeds of up to 94 mph. O.CT-Tuning’s new Camaro is based on Chevy’s Transformers special edition of the model. The O.CT Chevrolet Camaro Transformers is powered by the standard 6.2-liter engine, which has been modified to output 630 hp and 730 Nm of torque.

To get the extra muscle power out of the Camaro Transformers’ powerplant, O.CT equipped it with a bespoke supercharger and a custom exhaust system. At low speeds, he new exhaust is pretty decent in terms of sound. However, as soon as you start abusing the throttle pedal the O.CT Camaro transforms into a beast.

O.CT-Tuning is able to offer various power upgrades for Bumblebee and they can also provide a technical inspection certificate. Apart from the supercharger, O.CT left the Camaro Transformers untouched. The standard Bumblebee theme of the yellow Camaro is just too awesome to be changed.

The Mini Cooper JCW GP revealed this week is the fastest MINI ever built, as it managed to lap the famous Nurburgring Nordschleife in 8 minutes and 23 seconds. This is 19 seconds faster than the previous generation of the MINI Cooper S JCW.

The world debut of the GP model will take place at the MINI United festival, after which the car is going to be produced in 2,000 units. Its price has not been announced yet. Its specifications are also a close kept secret at the moment.

Apparently, the Mini Cooper JCW GP features powertrain, chassis and aerodynamics inspired by the world of motorsport, and an adjustable race suspension. The increased performance and handling of the Mini Cooper JCW GP are completed by a new body kit. It includes distinctive front and rear aprons, side skirts, a custom roof spoiler and a rear diffuser. The car has no rear seats, and its front ones are probably swapped with sport seats.

To be able to offer a true racing experience, the Mini Cooper JCW GP will be equipped with race-spec brakes, and bespoke racing tires. Mini says that the new John Cooper Works GP has a specific output of 100 kW/136 hp per liter.

CFC, or CarFilmComponents, a vinyl wrap specialist from Germany, revealed today their latest project, which is based on the 2011 Ford Mustang. The CFC Ford Mustang is powered by the 5.0-liter V8 engine, which has been upgraded to 435 hp and mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

The extra horsepowers come from a new air filter and a re-mapped engine control unit. CFC’s Mustang sits on 8,5×20 inch wheels and 255/35ZR20 tires on the front axle and 10×20 inch rims and 285/30ZR20 rubber on the rear one. CFC also equipped their new Mustang with an aftermarket H&R suspension system.

The CFC Ford Mustang is based on the black car, which received a metallic orange and white vinyl wrap, together with a carbon fiber foil. CFC prices their new Ford Mustang package at 12.150,00 EUR.

Seat will be displaying two race-spec models at this week’s 2012 Wörthersee Tour in Austria.

The first one is the new Ibiza SC Trophy which is now based on the Spanish firm’s refreshed supermini and features a 1.4-liter turbocharged TSI petrol unit with 178hp (180PS) under its hood. A 7-speed dual clutch DSG transmission transfers power to the front wheels through a locking differential.

Among other modifications, Seat’s motorsport division had added protection plates under the engine bay, more powerful brakes, a race-spec suspension and 18-inch lightweight alloy wheels wrapped in competition tires. Inside, you will find a roll cage, bucket seats and a race-spec digital instrument panel.

Priced at €31,500 (US$40,500) excluding VAT, the Ibiza SC Trophy is seen as an ideal starter car for amateur racers.

Seat’s next offering is the 250km/h (155mph) Leon Supercopa that targets professional racers. The five-door model sports a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-pot with 296hp (300PS) from the production Leon Cupra R, which is linked to a six-speed dual-clutch DSG transmission driving the front wheels through a limited slip differential.

The Leon Supercopa comes equipped with all the usual goods you expect to find in a race car such as a body-hugging bucket seat, a full roll cage and a removable steering wheel. In Europe, prices start at €63,000 (US$81,000), not including VAT.

Earlier this month, Lamborghini unveiled the Aventador J speedster during the opening of this year’s Geneva auto show. As predicted, the Aventador J is just a concept at the moment. It is fully functional and it is a one-off vehicle.

The Aventador J is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine, which develops 515 kW / 700 hp and 690 Nm of torque. This is the same engine as the one used in the regular Aventador. Interestingly enough, even though it has not roof or windshield, the Aventador J has the same weight (1575 kg) as the regular model. This means that it should offer the same performance (0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds, 350 km/h top speed).

In case you’re wondering where is the “J” coming from, we’ll have to tell you that it’s from “Appendix J” of FIA’s rules, which define the technical specifications of various racecars. The Lamborghini Aventador J measures 4890 mm in length, 2030 mm in width and just 1110 mm in height. It features two small wind deflectors instead of a windshield, and a special periscope-like rear view mirror. One of the distinctive features of the Aventador J is its front air scoop with winglets, which give it a Formula 1 racing car profile. The rear of the Aventador J is dominated by a huge diffuser, four tailpipes and a large wing. The supercar comes with 20- and 21-inch wheels, special bumpers, which create downforce on each axle.

The Lamborghini Aventador J features a new carbon monocoque chassis, with two safety bars behind the seats. It features the same ISR transmission, permanent all-wheel drive and push-rod suspension as the regular Aventador, but it has no air conditioning or navigation system. The Aventador J also features a special set of seats, made from Forged COMPOSITE with flexible carbon fiber inserts. The Aventador J also features a new type of material, called Carbonskin, which is basically a flexible, soft type of carbon fiber.

Don’t expect to get navigation or air conditioning in the Aventador J. The only thing Lambo equipped it with are two programmable TFDT screen behind the steering wheel.

Lamborghini did not put a price on the Aventador J, which probably means it’s not for sale.
