Asus Korea recently unveiled Asus U6V laptop which boasts a bamboo cover and high-end configuration. Powered by an Intel Core 2 DUo T9400 processor, the notebook sports a 4GB of main memory, an nVidia GeForce 9300M GS graphics engine with 256MB of DDR2 video memory, a 320GB of hard drive, and a 12.1-inch WXGA LED backlight LCD screen. Furthermore, it is equipped with 802.11a/b/g/n WiFI connectivity, HDMI out port, and either a DVD SuperMulti burner or Blu-Ray drive. Not sure abou the price, but it doesn’t sound cheap at all…

One of my most wanted gadget is a portable or hand-held e-book reader like Amazon’s Kindle. Unfortunately, its $359.99’s price tag isn’t cheap and I surely think twice before I spend my four hundred bucks for a gadget like that. Stock Trading Robot 'Marl' Review

"The Story of two Geeks Who Created the First Stock Trading... Robot!" Which You Can Use to Earn $346.77 Per Week (Average)

What I am about to share with you, is a very unusual story.

Unusual... because it is about 2 "geeks", named Michael and Carl. Who developed the first commercially available stock picking "robot". Michael (the programmer) named the robot "Marl".

Marl came about after Michael developed the famous "Global Alpha" computer stock trading model, while contracted to Goldman Sachs.

A piece of software which most years is responsible for...

$4,000,000,000+ Annual Trading Profit

With this software project completed, Michael looked for a new way to line his pockets. Unfortunately he had signed a Non Compete and NDA agreement with Goldman Sachs, forbidding him to create software which trades derivatives and similar financial instruments (like Global Alpha).

After 3 weeks of being temporarily unemployed, Michael who was very wealthy and very bored... Decided to start a new project.

You' see Goldman Sachs and most other large investment funds are at a major disadvantage. They often manage portfolios of up to $10,000,000,000 (ten billion dollars) - and because of this when they invest in stocks their scope is limited to just a few of the worlds largest firms (Coca-Cola, Google).

This problem is widespread amongst fund managers whom manage large amounts of capital. In fact Warren Buffet (Whom manages $53 billion) has the exact same problem.

Michael knew he could take advantage of this. By developing software which can run on any home computer, and manage funds between $100 and $500,000.

With managing such a small comparative amount, Michael's software could yield much higher returns. In fact it is designed to trade in the volatile penny stock market where stocks can increase 400% in a matter of minutes.

Michael worked with fund manager Carl Williamson to create the bot. "Marl" works by analysing each stock using "technical analysis". Which means analysing a stocks past price movements to predict the stocks future direction.

Below is an example stock chart. For all it looks like something NASA would be proud of... it is merely showing the stocks changes in price against time.

The various changes in price (when made into a chart) form what traders call "chart patterns" and it is exactly these price patterns Marl is looking for.

When first activated, Marl will use its own database to perform a scan of stocks trading on the OTC and Pink sheet exchanges. During this time Marl is looking for companies whom are forming bullish trading patterns.(stocks about to increase)

Carl helped Michael program the bot to identify (in split second timing) distinct trading patterns from a vast range of 6578, held in Marl's internal database.

If Marl identifies a clean, uncongested chart pattern, that is proven to yield a good risk/reward - Then the stock will be added to Marl's "Watch List". All of these "watched stocks" will be forming bullish patterns (indicating the stock is about to rise).

This watch list has two distinct advantages. The first and most obvious is that Marl can easily monitor hundreds of stocks at the same time. The second is that Marl is programmed on an "evolutionary framework". What this means, is that as Marl is watching hundreds of stock patterns it actually learns the most likely direction of stock prices under thousands of situations.

Because of this. The longer Marl is allowed to run on a computer...

The More Advanced He Becomes!

What's more by scrutinising the miniscule movements in price of hundreds of stocks... Marl becomes familiar... even intimate... With each individual stock.

Developing what professional traders call a "sixth sense". A sort of "feel" for how the stock will behave in any given situation.

While monitoring hundreds of stocks in the watch list... Marl may notice that a stock has been hitting resistance at $0.50 all week (not being able to rise above 50 cents a share). And if the stock breaks that level (meaning there is a good chance it will "breakout" and run much higher) the bot will start analyzing the stock in more detail... looking at its longer term weekly trading pattern and applying its vast range of criteria.

Any stocks that reach this stage have been under close scrutiny and passed a variety of complex tests. Marl will then analyze the charts looking for the best entry point (to buy the stock at) with the lowest risk to potential reward.

The average professional stock trader can analyze one stock chart around every 8-10 seconds... when looking for an opportunity. On the other hand Marl can analyze 7 charts every second.

Why Does That Matter?

It means that Marl can be extremely selective, waiting until all the correct criteria line up until a trade recommendation is made.

Often Marl will disregard profitable trades... In favour of a potentially more profitable trade occurring at the same time.

After creating Marl to version 1.0... The two input a trading capital of $1000 and set it running. Marl spent 13 hours analysing over 6,000 small capitalisation firms. After those 13 hours Marl made his first ever stock recommendation...

LPTC.OB Trading at $0.74 Per Share

Carl placed the trade in his online brokerage account with $1000 invested, as the market closed for the night. The following morning (a Tuesday) the stock climbed to $1.05 within the first 3 hours (a 42% increase).

Something ‘magical’ had just happened. In Carl Williamson’s dark, damp basement the first ever profitable stock robot was created.

One of the easiest ways to make money online is to set up a blog around a specific topic of interest and generate online income from the display of advertising/affiliate programs, product sales or the provision of online services.

One formidable way of making money from blogs consists of effectively using paid blogging networks.

From an advertiser’s standpoint, blogs are simply publishing platforms which produce content that is viewable by both search engines and potential customers.

Advertisers want more exposure for their businesses and will often purchase sponsored links or written content in a bid to generate public buzz and increase their search engine visibility.

Here is where you come in. As a member of paid blogging websites, you will get paid to blog about the advertiser’s products, website or service. These advertisers will pay the blog networks directly and you’ll receive a stipulated fee when you agree to take on each specific assignment.

How do I Make Money with Sponsored Blogging websites?

The process is actually fairly simple. Start by signing up with these sponsored blogging networks and giving them the web address for your blog. Some of these networks stipulate that your blog must have of a certain age (3 months old etc.) so take note of that before applying.

Take a look at their Terms of Service and wait for your blog to be approved by the administration. This usually takes a few days. After your blog is approved, go through their marketplace (if they have one) or just wait for blogging offers to arrive at your email inbox or site dashboard.

When you decide to take up a specific offer, write a blog post according to the instructions given. Publish the post and inform the blog network of the page URL. This is usually done through a user interface after you’ve logged into the network.

After your post is approved, you’ll receive payment according to the stipulated time frame. You can earn around $5 to $500+ for one single blog post, depending on the popularity, size and niche of your blog.

17 Sponsored Blogging Networks

Some of these networks should be well known to everyone but I’ll wanted to be as thorough as possible when developing this extensive list of paid blogging websites.

This list will be updated regularly and more paid blogging websites will be added in the future. Hopefully this will help all of you to make more money from your blogs.

1. PayPerPost

The largest sponsored blogging network, Payperpost offers the greatest amount of offers and has a vibrant community of bloggers who support each other through a forum. If you only want to sign up for one paid blogging network, I would highly recommend using PayPerPost above all the others.

2. ReviewMe

ReviewMe is basically some sort of a blog marketplace where advertisers can visit to order reviews from blogs. Some of the more ‘high-end’ or popular blogs are registered with ReviewMe and the earnings are substantially higher if your blog is well established and has a large audience.

Bigger blogs tend to earn upwards of $100 to 700+ for each single blog post and there are a lot less restrictions and rules than Payperpost. The downside for ReviewMe is that they take a hefty 50% commission for their services, which in my opinion is too large.

3. SponsoredReview

SponsoredReview is a blog network that is somewhat similar to ReviewMe but they offer a little more functionality by allowing you to negotiate fees with the advertiser and bid for an advertiser’s offers.

SponsoredReview takes 35% commission for their services and you’ll earn anything from $10 to 500+ for each review. Their user interface is one of the better ones out there and the only drawback to their service is the lack of advertisers.

4. Blogsvertise

Blogsvertise doesn’t have a marketplace so you can’t browse advertiser offers to select what you would like to write about. The site admins will match advertiser offers to your blog profile and you can choose to accept or reject the offers you see.

Generally, the assignments are sporadic and you’ll receive one or two of them every week if you’re lucky. They do however pay on time so that’s one of the benefits of working with Blogsvertise.

5. Blogitive

Blogitive will pay all bloggers a flat rate of US $5 per advertiser offer, regardless of the size or popularity of the blog. One of the earliest blog networks on the scene, Blogitive seems to be gotten into a slump a few months after their launch.

They’ve recently revamped their user interface and one of the much touted Blogitive advantages is that they pay weekly via Paypal. Blogitive has a very poor collection of advertisers and that’s something that they definitely need to improve.

6. LoudLaunch

LoudLaunch is a medium sized paid blogging network which features a moderate amount of advertiser offers. Your blogs need to be more than 2 months old and payment is only made via Paypal. Like Payperpost, the blogger usually needs to append a disclosure badge, tracker tag or logo or the bottom of posts.

The user interface doesn’t appeal to me and like other networks like Blogsvertise, the range of advertisers seem to be rather limited.

7. BloggerWave

Based on Norway, BloggerWave’s rates for paid posts are generally around $10 for a single post. There doesn’t seem to be many restrictions and you’ll get paid via Paypal. BloggerWave has been late on payment for many bloggers and some bloggers have gone so far to suggest that they are a scam.

Apparently, they seem to have made good on their payments recently and hopefully things should go smoothly from now on for bloggers using BloggerWave.

8. Smorty

Smorty rates for sponsored blog posts is $6 per post although this might increase if you have a high traffic or popular blog. Post approvals are generally made within a week and payment is made on a weekly basis through Paypal. There isn’t a lot of advertisers using Smorty at the moment though that might change in the future.

9. PayU2Blog

PayU2Blog started a few months ago and do seem to be a work in progress. There is no actual marketplace which allows you to browse for advertiser offers and they do seem to function very much like Blogsvertise in that that’ll determine the type of assignments you will receive. Payment is made every two weeks via Paypal.

10. Blogging Ads

Blogging Ads started early and recently relaunched with a new look. It’s nothing too different from Blogitive, however do note that you can only put up 10 posts per month on all your blogs and the rate for each post is usually $5. Payment is made weekly via Paypal. Blogging Ads doesn’t have a lot of advertiser offers as well.

11. Creamaid

CreamAid is a get paid to blog program with a twist. All bloggers of an option of displaying a widget which allows them to earn referral commission whenever another blogger picks up an offer from it.

CreamAid is more fun than the other get paid to blog websites although I think their monetary potential is weakest. Don’t expect to earn more than $5 for most offers you come across.

12. V7N Contextual

V7N Contextual is not technically a get paid to blog network because most of the time you won’t have to write a blog post. All you’ll have to do is to transform any specific keyword (eg. golf clubs) in your blog posts into a link to the advertiser’s website. All bloggers will earn $10 per link, regardless of their blog size and reach.

An important point to note is that you’ll have to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which means that you can’t disclose that it was a sponsored link. I have blogs in the V7N program and have not received many offers before. Don’t count on getting too many assignments.

13. LinkWorth

LinkWorth is a search engine marketing company that offers a variety of monetization options for bloggers. For instance, bloggers can sell contextual links within posts or write sponsored posts on specific topics.

Other interesting methods include rotating ads, in content ppc advertising as well as packaged link ads. LinkWorth gives up to 70% of the revenue for its ads and payments are made monthly through Paypal, check, direct deposit or Wire.

14. BlogtoProfit

BlogtoProfit allows you to get paid to write blog posts about each sponsor’s products/websites. This company doesn’t have a user interface or dashboard and there is no marketplace which allows you to pick or choose the offers you want. I’ve tried submitting some blogs to them before but have never gotten response from them at all. It is possible that they are not active anymore.

15. LinkyLoveArmy

LinkyLoveArmy appears to be a get paid to blog network but their website doesn’t make what they do very clear. The design is fairly cluttered and there’s no apparent FAQ or guide for bloggers who want to sign up. This appears to be a fairly small DIY setup so I wouldn’t expect too many advertiser offers from the onset.

16. InBlogAds

InBlogAds is a hybrid network that allows you to sell text links as well as blog posts. InBlogAds started quite a while back but seems to have died. I’ve not seen any new offers available and I think they are definitely outclassed by all the other get paid to blog networks.

Although they were one of the first to integrate an advertiser and publisher account within the same dashboard, they’ve definitely fallen behind and dropped out of the race for bloggers and advertisers.

17. Dewitts Media

Dewitt Media is a search marketing and website design company that’s recently launched a contextual links program. Blogs need to have a minimum Google Page Rank of 3 before they will be accepted. Rates are set at $10 per post.

Like V7N, Dewitt Media requires you to sign a NDA or Non Disclosure agreement, which forbids you from disclosing that any specific link or blog post was sponsored. There is currently no marketplace with advertiser offers though a forum might be forthcoming.

Conclusion

You don’t need a large number of daily visitors at all, although one should always keep in mind that your potential for profit increases as your blog becomes bigger and more well known.

Here’s my advice if you’re really interested in using blogs to make money: Keep a couple of blogs for paid blogging and strive to create a flagship blog that has a large audience and great reputation.

Software Judge - Get paid to review software

If you’re something of a geek who likes to try out different types of software, SoftwareJudge will pay you to write reviews of its list of software. You must use the software before writing an honest review of it. The list of software includes those for games, design and business.

Reviews must be written in good English and your reviews need not be positive. If the software is trash, say so. They want honest opinions and the most important thing is that your review must be original. Plagiarism is not tolerated and if even a single sentence is found to have been copied, you will not be paid.

Thorough checks are made for every single review before it is paid, even for those who submit quality reviews regularly. There is a limit of 3 reviews a day but if you are new, try submitting 1 review first to see if it gets accepted. Most of the reviews have a word count of 100 - 200 words which can be quite easy to complete a review. The time consuming part would be testing the software. Payment ranges from US$1 - US$50. The amount you get depends on the quality of your review as determined by SoftwareJudge.

The best beta contributors receive free games and free reg keys in addition to getting paid. You can choose to get paid by Western Union if you have a minimum of US$200 in your account - the ONLY method of payment - or choose to purchase a downloadable product with the money in your account.

Current.TV is an independent cable and satellite TV network which pays for viewer-created video content. Anyone with a camera and a story to tell has the opportunity to make money online by getting paid for short non-fiction videos called pods which tell a story, profile a character and/or share an idea. It’s a self-contained story, a profile of an interesting character or a dose of information.

Types of videos accepted
A wide variety of work on different levels are accepted for consideration, ranging from journalism pods to TV promos. Depending on your interest and level, you can submit videos for any of the following areas:

1. Pods
Pods are short videos that tell a story, profile a character and/or share an idea.

2. Current Journalism
Current Journalism Pods are news segments made by independent video producers who meet the highest journalistic standards of Current TV.

3. Promos
Current TV promos which tell audiences about Current TV, why they are different, and why you should participate in the network.

4. V-CAMS
V-CAMs are viewer-created ad messages for Current TV sponsors that can run on Current TV and beyond.

5. Raw Intel
This is raw footage caught with a video camera. This is reserved for footage that is newsworthy and/or is so riveting on its own, Current TV will consider buying it without all the extra editing and post production needed to create a finished Pod.

Requirements
1. Video lengths are generally between 1 -7 minutes, although there is no official limit. However, you are encouraged to break up your video into episodes if it runs longer than the norm.
2. Videos most likely to be accepted have unique voices, interesting perspectives, characters you don’t see other places and a story arch with a beginning a middle and an end.
3. Current TV is a network aimed at 18 to 34 year olds, so the subject matter should appeal to folks who fit into that general age bracket.
4. You can share and submit your videos to other sites as well.
5. Copyright laws for images and music applies.

Video submission formats
Uploads are handled by the Video Egg Publisher, a website plug-in that makes it simple for users to capture, edit, encode, and post digital video online. The Video Egg Publisher can capture directly from hundreds of types of devices and reads dozens of formats. This means you don’t have to compress your video, as Video Egg does it for you upon upload. Please upload the highest resolution version of your video to get the best compression possible.

You can upload the following formats using Video Egg: .3gp, .3gp2, avi, .dv, .mpg, .mpg4, .mov, .mqv, .wmv, .asf. At this time, the Video Egg Publisher does not support MPEG-2 movies. These movies are most commonly found on DVDs.

You can also submit your videos by disc or tape but these are strongly discouraged.

Payment
1. Payment for Pods, including Raw Intel and mobile submissions, is negotiated on a per-Pod basis.
2. Promos are purchased for a flat rate of $250 per promo that makes it onto Current TV.
3. V-CAM submissions are paid a flat rate of $1000 per V-CAM chosen for Current TV. If your V-CAM does air on Current TV and the sponsor of your V-CAM wants to show it in other places beyond Current TV, you’ll get anywhere between $5,000 and $50,000, depending on where they show it:

- Internet (other web sites besides): $5,000
- Cable or satellite television (other than Current TV or any cable or satellite television network owned or controlled by Current TV): $10,000
- Network television: $15,000
- Any other medium (theatrical trailer, public billboard, sporting event jumbotron, etc.: $20,000

If you are a video enthusiast or budding journalist, Current TV is an excellent platform to get your work on air because it is a credible organization (its chairman is Al Gore) which runs quality content. If your work is acepted, it can not only earn you some decent money, but the opportunity also adds positively to your resume should you decide on a future career in journalism.

Advertlets Make - Money Online for Asians

If you are exposed to the internet long enough and pretty quite pissed with your current broadband connection, you should have heard of Redesign Malaysia . How Advertlets really works?

I noticed a lot of bloggers like to jump the bandwagon and sign up for ad networks before really knowing the model, how ad network pays and also uncertain if bloggers themselves are actually eligible for it. Here’s 2 ways Advertlets will get bloggers some revenue, at least ways I’m currently earning from it.

Sign up an account, put up the codes and Advertlets will start collecting demographics. Ads are impressions-based. That means you are paid on each unique visitor impression. You can get ads as soon as they have an advertiser match for you (if your blog is popular or has something of interest to advertisers currently with them, it is easy). But once 50 demographics submissions are collected, Advertlets will be able to match you with even more advertising opportunities based on your site audience.

Example:

Say Advertlets is paying you RM0.01 per impression. Your site has about 3000 Impressions per day, of which 1500 are from local visitors.

1500xRM0.01 = RM15.

You earn RM15/day. Noticed that I’m not using your total impressions, which is 3000, because Advertlets ads are geolocated; in another words targeted by country (eg, Malaysia ).

Advertlets use the term Blogvertorials, it also means sponsored post, paid reviews, etc. From time to time, Advertlets will approach bloggers individually and offers such paid reviews, or they will announce it on the blog. So stay tuned.

Advertlets really pays bloggers?

I will not put a “YES” to this, at least not now, because so far I have not received payments from Advertlets yet. But will I? Certainly think so. Advertlets publishers are eligible to payout once they’ve reach RM100.

You are too fast, please slow down

Advertlets are running too many promotions, campaigns and announcing quite a few promises for mutual bloggers/Advertlets benefits. What I see, bloggers still have a lot of questions on current Advertlets. Expanding and introducing more stuff will certainly create more blur bloggers.

Benefiting Advertisers more?

Advertlets are benefiting advertisers more? I’m leaving this as a question instead of statement because it’s really depends on individual perspective. Advertlets caters advertisers the ability to on/off their ads on bloggers website in order to make appear on the “best time” advertiser finds.

I understand when advertisers pay for publicity; they want to utilize it the most at the best time. I’ve talked with Josh Lim the founder and they explained it was a feature they are testing at the moment.

If there are no advertisers, there will be no ads for bloggers. Also, without bloggers, who will publish advertiser’s ads? Really, it’s so arguable.

Suggestion: If advertiser choose to “off” their ad, publisher’s side have the option to totally wipe off the Advertlets default banners, showing something alternative of their own choice (like Google AdSense )

More Ads formats

Advertlets publishers are limit down to 1 size, though size-customizable but still it’s better to have mores sizes to have ads blend better into blogs. I noticed Advertlets is currently on testing mode, hope to hear the good news soon. I have also been selected to take part in a beta of a new ad format, and you should see it here soon.

A relative newcomer to the get paid to blog scene, Bloggerwave is a virtual clone of PayPerPost in both its system and website look and feel. In the beginning, some bloggers even spotted a copy and paste job for some of their text.

Paid Video Sharing Sites - The Dirty Dozen

With the proliferation of video sharing as a means to make money online, I’ve compiled a list of sites which pay in one way or another for uploading videos to share with viewers. Most of these sites earn by either by Google AdSense or direct advertisers and split the advertising revenue with video contributors. Although known mainly for video sharing, many sites also share images for additional advertising revenue.

1. MetaCafe
One of the largest and most popular paid video sharing sites with over 1 million unique visitors a day. Its size may also be a disadvantage as your video has a high chance of getting lost. Videos with over 20,000 views a month and a rank of 3.00 or higher start earning USD5.00 for every 1,000 views. It doesn’t sound like much, but if you look at the chart, top earners make serious money.

2. Revver
Ads are attached to your videos and you are paid 50% of the ad revenue generated. You can also earn 20% ad revenue by distributing someone else’s video. Earnings are by clicks on ads, not the number of times the video is shown.

3. UpBlogger
Another video sharing site that earns by placing ads alongside the video. Pay rates are actually quite good compared to other sites with a similar business model. USD5 for every 1,000 unique video views, although there is a maximum 3 month limit.

4. TheVideoSense
Uses Google AdSense program for ad revenue where 50% of time, your ads are shown on your video homepage and the other half of the time, TheVideoSense ads. You also earn 10% of the time your AdSense ID is displayed on sites of people who join using your referral.

5. BlipTV
You can either link your video to your own blog or create a blog within BlipTV to post it. Either way, ad revenue from various ad formats are shared 50/50. It supports cross posting to various other sites such as MySpace.

6. Flixya

Google AdSense ads are placed next to your videos which can be linked from YouTube or MySpace. So unlike many other video-sharing sites, videos need not be original creations.

8. VuMe
Formerly known as Eefoof, VuMe places banners around videos for ad revenue. It pays USD3.00 for every 1,000 views. It seems very strict on the original content rule as there are hardly any of the videos you see on YouTube and the like. Traffic here seems quite low as the most viewed videos have only a couple of thousand hits compared to tens of thousands on other sites.

A relative newcomer to the video sharing scene, TheNewsRoom is the news site of Voxant, the viral syndicate network. Rates are USD4.00 per 1,000 views for video feeds on your own site, and USD1.00 on a referred site. A wide range of topics are covered - politics, science, health - just to name a few.

Your video is uploaded onto Videoegg and embeded on your site. In-video ad units targeting user profiles are placed in the videos either as pre-run or post-roll ads. No details are available but “VideoEgg’s revenue sharing program is tailored for our partners who exceed 50,000 unique visitors a month.”

11. Lulu
80% of the site’s ad revenue is pooled every month and members are paid according to the amount of traffic they get from their videos. You will only get paid for original content.

12. Babelgum
Contributors get a 50% share of the revenue generated by the advertising placed in the context of your content. Until end 2007, Babelgum is guaranteeing a minimum USD5.00 for each 1000 unique views of a video. The beta service is slated to start soon.

There are of course other sites which pay in some other less obvious ways under different sets of terms and conditions. Also, alpha video sharing site YouTube had earlier announced that it plans to roll out some kind of shared revenue program for its contributors, probably once they have their fingerprinting technology developed which will automatically detect and reject copyright material.

Sharing videos is a great addition to paid blogging and other ways to make money online. It can be considered as recursive income, meaning once completed, it earns you money over and over again without any further involvement from you although videos have a relatively short circulating lifespan.

My Impressions
Traffic on this site seem to be rather low. Browsing through the Most Viewed videos see only hits in the low thousands compared to tens of thousands on other sites. A reason could be because of its strict rule on orginal content only. This cuts out a lot of the popular videos from TV shows and popular media.

Since no mention is made of the payout rate, I’m wondering how long it will take for someone to get paid given that the Most Viewed videos probably have made less than 10 bucks.

The Bad: The payout rate is generally lower than competition, if you limit it to one popup/visitor.

The Review:

PayPopUp is a pretty easy program to get into. Once you do, you will notice that their popup code generator stands apart from most of the competition. Where others serve an ad on every pageview while only paying once per visitor in a 24 hour period, this program lets you pick exactly how, when and how often your visitors will see their ads.

Pick to have a popunders on page load or page exit. Set the time delay in seconds. Decide how many times a user will see an ad (options range from once a session to once a month!)

What sets this PayPopUp apart from most other networks, is that they pay for raw impressions, not unique visitors. This can make a huge difference if you are willing to show each visitor multiple popups. While their rate is lower than most competitors, the earning potential is much greater. (Remember - programs like PopUpTraffic will by default show an ad to your visitor on every pageview, but only pay ONCE a day per visitor!)

Another nice feature of this program is that it pays for international traffic, not just US based one and many others do. However, their prices for non-US traffic are signifficantly lower. You get $1.68 CPM for US visitors, $1.80 for the UK, $1.30 for Canada, and 35c for countries like Brazil, Japan and Germany. China it seems is the lowest valued of all with a scant 25 cents for 1000 pop-unders. On flooble.com, which gets about 85% of its traffic from the US, the program generates about $1.60 CPM.

PayPopUp has also forayed into other formats in 2004: they now offer interstitial, in-page (DIV layer) ads similar to FastClick's InVues but larger, and finally banners. The advertised rates for in-page ads, which they call "PopIns", is $1.00 for US traffic, and less for other countries. The banners are available in regular and leaderboard sizes, paying out 20 and 28 cents respectively for US-based impressions. There doesn't seem to be any default mechanism, so one can only assume that the network fills all your inventory.

The statistics are very well done. You can see your traffic and earnings in real time, broken down either by days or geographical regions.

Also worthy of mention is that they have a five-level deep referal structure, which is rare in this business. First level referers get 10% of the affliates they bring in, with levels 2 through 5 paying 5%, 2%, 2% and 1%.

The minimum payout is $50, and the payments are sent twice a month - just like paychecks, on the 15th and 30th - as long as your balance for the previous period is sufficient. Note that this publisher is located in Canada, and even though you can elect to get paid in US dollars, your bank may still charge you money for processing each check (something to do with a different routing system). If that is the case you may want to increase the minimum payout to minimize the cost incurred.

Overall it's a great program that will mostly benefit webmasters who serve multiple popup ads. If you limit your popups to one per session, you will do better with programs like PopUp Sponsor or PopUpTraffic, which pay you a higher CPM rate, but only count unique visitors.
