The Castilleja Student Peace Dot Team worked in coordination with Jane Chesher of Stanford's Persuasive Technology Lab to create a short welcome video for organizations new to the Peace Dot community and project. Below is our "rough cut," or first draft of the video. We'd love any comments, feedback or suggestions that you might have so that we're able to improve upon this rough cut. -clubs period dedicated to community service
-have no paper plates for a day and measure what happened/ get rid of paper plates in a public place in the lunch room
-zen garden
-we should all eat outside for lunch once a week
-once a month do a day of community service
-have a garden and measure its impact on the community
-required # of community service hours/rewards for community service
-a lot of lights are on at night

In support of global week's theme the ANITA SEIPP GALLERY will host an educational poster exhibit, sponsored by the Missing Peace Project: Artists Interpret the Dalai Lama. These works examine the Dalai Lama’s aesthetics of compassion and impermanence and the peaceful unity of all things. In addition to the posters, original limited edition prints and a large scale painting by Filippo Di Sambuy will be on view for the month of January. Castilleja students will be engaged in studying these works and making their own artistic contributions to the greater goal of understanding and ameliorating the roots of peace.
