ColorsOpenLabel nace de la idea de un dj / productor a raíz de ver las dificultades que tienen numerosos artistas, por un lado a la hora de conseguir un sello o netLabel en el que poder publicar sus propios temas y, por otro, a la hora de conseguir actuaciones en clubs o salas.

La filosofía de COL es la de ayudar a todos los artistas cuya obra es de calidad para promocionarse y poder vender su música, de la forma que él mismo decida. El portal, recién sacado del horno, es una mezcla de NetLabel, comunidad y promoción de artistas. No importa el estilo (electrónica, rock, experimental, pop, etc.), siempre y cuando tenga un carácter no comercial y de calidad suficiente. Se trata de una comunidad de artistas, cazaTalentos y clientes. Los segundos, tienen como objetivo el de promocionar a estos artistas de la manera que ellos vean conveniente (actuaciones, entrevistas, descuentos, etc.), de una forma totalmente voluntaria.
