Hey, friends!  A couple months ago I mentioned that I took an art class.  Many of you picked up right away that it was a class on Copic Markers, lol!  I’m now a “Certified Copic Instructor”, which actually cracks me up a bit because I still have a lot of practicing to do!

This is actually the first colored image (please disregard the bleeding the left of girly’s hair.  You can “push” color back inside the lines and I was working on that and this is the best I could do) that I actually made into a card!

The Stampin’ Up Colors are Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Crumb Cake.

The girl stamp is from My Favorite Things.

Happy Father’s Day to all the fabulous dads out there.  Ladies, I hope you made him a card

Today’s card isn’t a Father’s Day card by the greeting, but it’s masculine, it shows love and can be easily changed to fit any greeting for a man.

Or, use the layout with girlie colors and you’ve got a card for any occasion!

I hope you are having a great day with your favorite guys…I scheduled this post before we left for vacation, but if all goes well, we are in Hershey Park today!  Last summer, we bought season passes to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and the whole family had an absolute blast.  We’ve got a family full of coaster lovers, so that was the top question from the girls.

Oh, yes, and how much chocolate are we going to get?  LOL!

I had a little time to stamp today because my dad picked ALL THREE girls up to take them to the movies and to spend the night!  I was like, WHAT?  I get like 24 hours off!  What am I going to do?

Stamping, then dinner out with Randall is on the agenda and I think you are most interested in the stamping, lol!

To get my juices flowing, I popped over to CASE Study (did you know MAUREEN is a brand new DT member over there?  I’m so proud of my dear friend!).

Here is the inspiration piece:

I was very excited to CASE this card since I had seen it online before and LOVED it!  I pulled out a bunch of new Stampin’ Up goodies and went to work.

I actually had a ton more “trouble” than I thought it would.  I had a hard time getting the little pieces and layers and shapes and stuff just right.

As you can see, I pretty much just recreated the card using the supplies I had on hand.  Why mess with perfect?
