Tristan loves the cats.

The one thing he definitely anticipate to every time he comes would be the cats.

The 2nd thing to do when he steps into the house would be running to the cats.

(first would be taking off his shoes, obviously).

He goes: "yoyo, yoyo" non-stop.

Sometimes he even talk to the cats.

And Then.

Everytime before he leaves, he will say goodbye to the cats.

He will wavies his hand and say "byebye" to them.

"Byebye MiaoMiao".

"Byebye Yoyo".

"Byebye Beebee".

"Byebye fua fua".

Fua Fua??

Yes, not Hua Hua, BUT Fua Fua.

We find it funny
because he doesn't have pronunciation problem with the rest of the cats' name.

So we start to imitate him whenever he says it.

One day, my dad caught us doing it.

He wants to imitate too.

Me: "Fua Fua! Fua Fua" (while looking at huahua).

Dad: "huh, Guagua?"

Me: "Fuafua"

Dad: "hwahwa?"

Me: "FUAFUA"

What are friends for to you?

Ideally, allies whom trust, be there for, understands and defend for you?

Few days ago, I recalled that during my childhood days, it’s popular to have people writing your diary. Not “dear diary”, but those that people wrote their profile in the so called diary.

I would always write a long list of junks, such as favourite food, favourite female/male singers; actors, favourite colour, favourite music etc.

Then follow by best friends, good friends & friends, lastly by poems.

Thinking back, I think it’s amazing on how I labelled them.

Naturally, the ones that spent most time with became best friends.

So called best friends moved on, felt betrayed. But then think again, I betrayed the origin best friend in the first place. There you are, Retribution.

I moved on too.

And then acquired new friends, became best friends. The process repeats again and again.

Happy times passed by as years goes by. Friendship is deep, concerned is shown, but it didn't managed to reach me. When I realised, it’s too late to change.

Overestimated the fragile friendship, talk is cheap and a slap in the face just show that how much we had changed.

No matter how well we used to click, how much we understand one another, all these became past tense.

That’s LIFE. People are absorbed with the currents, with relationships, indeed you are an existence, but then anytime you will be kick out that zone. Crossed path and say hi! to new people.

Leant the lesson yet? Yup?!

I think as people grow up from experience, wise words came along too.

Reality check.

Again, what are friends for?

Companionship. For a thousand reasons, that is why just friends are needed for.

One day, while waiting for my boss at the food court, my colleague and I were thinking what to eat.

As we chatted, my colleague decided to eat Hokkien Mee as it's "重口味". As i'm loss for choice, I decided to eat Hokkien Mee as well since i never try that before.

As my boss arrived, she also couldn't decide what to get for lunch, so my colleague went ahead to buy for us.

So my boss asked: "what are you two eating?". I replied: " Hokkien Mee".

Boss: "Ahhh, she's STRESSED."

Me: "Huh, how u know she's stressed?" *Jackpot*

Boss: "Because she's eating "重口味" food.

Me: "Really meh?" "I'm eating "重口味" food everyday leh".

Boss: "Then you are STRESSING EVERYDAY".

Me: "Errrr...." *Speechless*

A new chapter of a new Beginning

Dear Diary,

Last THURSDAY marked the end of my first month work.

I think i won by luck and my honesty = to stupidity.

But then I realise that there's nothing bad about it...

BECAUSE

It's the first time i felt that work is so interesting!

Not workload, BUT the people i met.

Working as a secretary, acting as a PA and doing adminstrative work wasn't a difficult task. ALL I need is the effort to learn and SUPER good Memory.

WHY?

Here comes the interesting part no. 1...

The ex-secretary who worked at the firm for 5 years, for some reason decided to quit and left. 1 week is all i have, to learn what she has been doing for 5 years.

Because I was a newbie, everything is followed up by the ex-secretary before i join. There are several occasions whereby boss had to call her up regarding the cases that she followed up with.

"Hi there, sorry to trouble you, but regarding the client name blah blah blah, what was the status when you followed 4 MONTHS ago? or Which documents and the folders do you scanned to?" etc etc...

4 months isn't a very long period of time. But my boss has a 'LONG list of clients and the workload is REPETITIVE, everyday we handle more than one client's documents and other adminstartive work too.

I'm so amazed with the ex-secretary when she's able to direct my boss to find the documents over the phone.

I was thinking: " Hell! so many months ago!".

I bet oneday, the same situation will happen to me.

I love chatting with my boss because she's experienced in many ways.

It's just like gaining knowledge...

Many things cannot be explained in scientific way.

One of it would be fortune telling; its either you believe it or not.

And here comes the interesting part no. 2...

One day, she told me that my name wasn't very auspicious, in fact it will harm me in many ways.

If i'm not wrong, according to the chinese characters, age 1- 20 is determined by the surname, age 20 - 50 is determined by the middle character and age 50 - 70 is determined by last character.

A Master said that '燕' is not a good word for name as it has knifes at both sides and fire at the bottom. So when people call me '燕婷', it will reflect badly on me and as time goes by... Consequences/possibilities that I might have a chance encountering with backstabbers, consistent quarrels/fight with spouse and contacting with a major illness.

I was like: "Woah".

Thats probably might be the reasons to why artists changed their orginal names.

Anyway, my boss and coworkers believed in this theory, so in order not to cause any harm to me they decided to address me by my english name which i always omit people to do me.

Not only that, when I intro myself to other people, i started using that name too!

Weird huh...

To be specify, my workplace consist of many firms and i'm just in one of it.

Each firm has its own managers and we are TOTALLY not related.

Here comes interesting part 3

Girls have a habit in office, and its non other than wearing slippers/flipflop walking here and there.

SERIOUSLY! wearing covertoes shoes make the feet stinks.
To prevent me from getting HK foot, I wore it too.

BUT, there are times which i forget to change back when i left the office.

One fine day, I happened to realise that I wore slippers out to get lunch, but then I was already halfway to my destination. I thought:" Aiya, nvm la, no one will realise it."

Bought lunch while waiting for the lift, I saw one of the manager who is working on the same floor. I was new, so she doesn't know who i am. She smiled to me, and i smiled back too!

We got into the same lift (since we r going to the same floor).

We made eye contacts. (i knew whats going to happened.)
She scrutinize me from head to toes and then back to head again. She smiled at me AGAIN and asked: "oh, you are going to the same floor too?"

SMILED AGAIN.

(exaggeratingly would be like superglued smile?)

I think it was probably the next few days, my boss randomly told me:

" Don't wear slipper out because there are incidents that where people got complained."

"Ooohhh" appeared in my mind at the instant.

I think i found a good superior.

She's nice, patient and she help me out in my work even though she's the boss.

Nothing offensive, I mean I like her.

Here comes interesting part 4...

I make sure all the time to have eye contact with her because i feel that its a form of respect.

By having eye contact everytime trains me to have a habit.

To listen while looking at the expressions.
It's really a habit because it became a voluntarily act that I didn't start to notice until I realised the tone and the expression don't match.

(like having a irritated face but speaking with a calm voice?)

I realised she is using the same tone to talk to everyone, even to strangers. But sometimes, the expression diffs, till the point i feel that it's weird to have them linked up. I start to wonder what actually is she thinking.

We will have casual talks during lunch. I felt beneficial as she enlighten me about certain stuffs. Sometimes though the chats i start to wonder if she's is hinting me something or just using it as an example. Anyway, i do take note of these trivial matters, TRY not to repeat of the things she doesn't like.

Even meeting up with friends, this habit of mine still surfaced. I start to understand and figured out whether what i had said is really what they wanted to listen or not.

Actually i feel it's not a bad habit ....

Work is repetitive, sometimes is boring, BUT time past really fast! Probably because I like this job. Everything as a whole is thumb up!

I'm back to my comfort zone once again...

I'm so lost in noway.

I bet everyone goes through this stage before...

So what my problem?

Its like little people understands how i feel...

I'm doing job hunting recently.

Everyday I'll spent time looking for job.

Busy sending resumes.

Here's the problem....

I do not really know what i really wanted to do/work as.

Actually I got the job on spot during my first interview.

Almost everyone feels that i should be happy about it.

Infact, I'm not.

I feel so lost, so emo, so inferior about myself, soo lacking of confidence,

so afraid to take the first step.

Maybe this is not the job i'm finding after talking to my sis and b.

It very nice of them to be so patient and understanding towards me.

I may be acting like a child, and soon i have to wake up from this hiding....

On one side, i am tense up because that i might be not able to find a job,

on the other side i'm attending all the interviews, but they may not be the one i'm looking for.

Anyone feels the same before?

Confession:

My right eyelid has been twitching for around a week.

I got VERY worried about it, not because it's causing any problem, but it became an IRRITATION.

An ANNOYANCE that is getting on my nerves!

At first, i'm fine that it's twitching once in a while, BUT then,

this repetitive twitching happens every few hours, EVERYDAY!

It not only get onto my nerves, now it creeps into my CURIOSITY!

There's always a saying in term of SUPERSTITION.

or rather irrational belief....

I admitted, seriously i'm abit? you know into these kind of theories...

TO SOLVE THE MYSTERY!

I went to do some research~

In scientific way of saying:

Myokymia is the medical term used for eye twitching
(lucky that i'm not experiencing Blepharospasm)

So the involuntary spasms may be caused by stress, tiredness, eye strain, caffeine and/or alcohol, dry eye, nutritional imbalances or allergies.

ME spinning in my thoughts:

" Stress, nah.... i dun think so"
"Eh, i have insomnia recently, so i was rather active?!"
"NODDING!! I did drank more milk tea recently....
Iced tea is also made of caffeine rite?"
"I did consumed whisky chocolate ice-cream, BUT it was only in the afternoon & it was very minimum amount"
"I'm rubbing my eyes in my sleep, shouldn't it produce wetness to my eyes?"
"I'm eating my meals regularly, or maybe give me the definition of nutritional imbalances ?"
"Allergy = my rubbing of eye, but again i'm not rubbing everyday,
it's TWITCHING EVERYDAY"

I bet if I told the doctor about the above statements, he won't be able to know which is main root cause.

Sooo....

I ASSUMED its mixture of the symptoms I had!

In the superstition way of saying:

I ~~ALWAYS~~ thought that the left eye twitch would represents good luck, while the right eye twitch significantly mean bad omen?

But then my belief was wrong?

The interesting part is that the twitching of eye can be explain in terms of gender, almanac as well as religious.

"The twitching of the right eye in men signifies an important windfall or good luck, but a twitching left eye would signify ill luck. In women, a twitching right eye would signify bad luck, while a twitching left eye signifies good luck."

Also, it can be based on the anatomical breakdown of the eye. A twitch in the lower right eyelid means, a good fortune is headed your way while one in the upper eyelid signifies financial loss.

You see, my right eye is twitching so it signify bad luck BUT its' my lower eyelid that is twitching all the while.

so it means that i'm having bad luck but i'm having good fortune?

"Hmmm, bad luck not yet, fortune not yet either."

Prayed hard *cross finger* that bad luck don't ever come to me!

I guess this would probably be the last round of New year gathering for us.

Include: Dilys, Mingkin, Yanyan, Yingying, Yuzhen,

I would say this time round the planning is much more better then the first visit .
We made sure that there's adequte time for all house visiting.

First Stop: Genghong house

It very kind of gh's parents to prepare lunch for us early in the morning.

So... we made sure we finished all the food on the table!

ohya, we had a little surprise belated birthday celebration for D.
which inclues the D.I.Y cake and undergarment present!

Second Stop: Dilys' house

We went to her new house located at boungkok.

We took a little bit of time playing in-between, totally forget who's the winner.

A warning to guys:
You may have sagging breast like THIS in future, so take note it. LOL

Third Stop: Benson's House

This is our first time visiting his house,
and he does have alot of pets at home, in terms of numerical.

His two chiwawa !

It was my first time to be in close contact with dogs, i would say it a pleasurable experience, however i still prefer cats...

Fourth Stop: Yanyan's Home!

That day was really hot! So i changed to shorts since they doesn't mind :)

Fifth Stop: Mingkin Mama's House

We went to her house numerous times,we got so comfortable with it that the moment we reached there, we had our butts lay onto the sofa~

Sixth stop: Benji's house

Again, its also very kind of benji's parents to prepare dinner for us even though we reached there quite late :)

This is the final stop for that day!

In case anyone realise that the hand sign we showed in the pics and the number of stop i mentioned is differnt is because .....

The said that the first stop should be at the station when we are suppose to meet early in the morning, which we had left out!

Mood: Depressed …

I dun know how to have a worry free smile.

One after another troublesome event happened.

First, it was Miao. I thought he had a tumour, but luckily it turned out to be infection.

I was really worried that something bad would happen to him.

I prayed everyday hoping that he would turn out fine.

He means a lot to me, but they just don’t understand how important he is to me.

I’m glad that I choose the right pet clinic.

The vet and the assistants over there were friendly and nice. The vet would explain in details regarding the operation and the treatments.

There’s no fight compared to my dreadful past experience.

Though it cost abit, it definitely worth everything.

Yet, they don’t understand.

Second, I had to change nearly all furniture in my bedroom.

Troublesome asshole giving us troublesome problem at such a timing.

Now I have to unpack and pack everything out of the room.

It’s true that I will get to have new furniture, but I’m really exhausted from the recent activities.

And thirdly, my worst fear had happened.

Some neighbour/s had log a complaint regarding my cats.

The HDB officers took photos earlier on and called today, asking if we received the letter.

The result was that we could not keep a single cat due to the HDB policy.

Sis talked to the HDB officer with all means, all he (officer) can say is “I’m sorry it’s the HDB policy.”

I was infuriated because of the anonymous neighbour.

Do you call someone a bastard, “neighbour”? Where they don’t even communicate with you regarding this matter and directly complain about it.

Can he/her be called as a neighbour?

How bastard and fucking asshole can this neighbour be?

Because this person is anonymous, I can’t confront this gutless person.

I don’t hate him/her; I'll just use all means to do my cursing and swearing.

I’ll drag his/her descendants down with me.

I would remember this person for the rest of my life, just like what happened 13 years ago.

Now, I’m really worried about my cats.

Where should they go?

I couldn’t bear to part with them.

Miao has been with me for 12 years. He’s old and I couldn’t take good care of him if he’s not around me. And bee bee is a scaredy-cat; he just can’t live well with strangers. Hua hua is a bad tempered cat and yoyo is a weird cat.

Sis found a temporary solution, but how long can it last?

She found a boarding house, I think it was called Ericsson pet farm.

It cost $600 a month if I’m not wrong.

but will they really take good care of my cats?

I have to start work immediately in order to have sum of money.

They are my responsibilities.

Realisation

My self-conscious sensor is emitting red signals(danger).

This is the first time I felt shameful wearing shorts.

Why?

Maybe the short I wore was half an inch shorter than the usual ones?

NO,

It’s my flabby thighs that I am shameful of.

They aren’t big …

But they aren’t muscular as well…

In short, they are made up of fats, which wobble with the slightest movement.

Imagine: when you are in a rush, you speed up your walking pace. There are a big crowd walking behind you (estimate like 40 people?) And your thighs are wobbling here and there.

The only thing I felt was “disgraceful”.

I know, I know …

IT COMMON, a lot of gals have it.

BUT it’s the self-image that one produced.

In short, it’s irritating; its gets onto the nerves.

Give up on wearing shorts?

Ans: HELL NO

Then how about start on regular exercising?

Ans: See how lor.

Which means a much more higher percentage that this will not be carried out.

Everyone is busy with their life since 5 years ago, when we graduated. We hardly meet up, probably twice to three times a year to celebrate birthdays. Most of the time is belated celebrations; however it’s always better than nothing.

It was damm tried just by searching for three present in a shopping centre.

And we took hours to find the ideal ones for them.

IT totally has a nice ambience, good for relaxation too.

Is what we hear every morning of this module.

.
Quality Management is the first module that we attend every week.

Dr. Goh, whom is our facilitator, is also the module chair for Quality Management.

I remember the first day of school she demanded us to follow her rules.

It’s typical stuffs; rules that you will hear in RP.

Such as: phone switch to silent mode, no msn, pay attention while she’s talking.

Normally we just ignored the ‘rules’ and gradually the facilitators would also heck care on that.

BUT she’s a different case.

She ~~MEANT~~ what she ~~SAID~~.

I remembered the first lesson,

whereby she caught one of my classmate msning (which she did not),

What she did was, she picked on that classmate of mine to answer most of her questions throughout the whole lesson.

This is the first module of my 3 years life in RP that I ever felt stressful.

I think it’s because that the questions she posted required quick-thinking,

Which obviously I’m lacking of.

She can be mean if she wants to, but usually she is a nice and easy going facilitator.

She’s the reason that our class is bonded (don’t wish to mention why).

We had a lot of fun and laughter during lessons

& her favourite phrases make it memorable to us.

I was too busy eating, LOL

Suddenly I feel that I have lost the ‘hui-ling’ (feelings) of being
expressive in my blog.

I don’t feel the joy of writing anymore.

Lots of event happened and somehow I clear my thoughts on certain
stuffs that have been bothering me for a longgg while.

Human are weird creatures, in fact I’m one of them.

Just weeks ago, I was in a little hysterical state.

I realised I might be having emotional disorder.

I think I might have a mild depressive disorder?

it matched with the symptoms I had.

I didn’t know that because I never told anyone about this.

Ever since the death anniversary of my cat, the heaviness in my chest
couldn’t be washed away.

Gradually, this has become the misery that lives inside me.
.

I laughed a lot with my friends.

But afterwhich, I never remembered the laughter.

These laughters just never reach the bottom of my heart.

I felt sad because they are all surfaced joy; and in an unpleasant way,
they are ‘fake’.
.

When I’m alone, mood changes drastically.

One moment I may be laughing, it instantly disappear in a split second.

And naturally, tears rolled down without a sign.

It just came on and off, as and when it likes.

I thought I was a sadist.

Just when I was feeling miserable, I felt ecstatic that I am suffering.

Ironic isn’t it?

It is just like I am anticipating more pains,

wondering when will I break down or suffocate myself from all these rubbish.

Then I realise, that the shaper the pain is, the more conscious I am.

It turns out that I am abusing my body,

Not purposely, but unintentionally as I lost track of time.
.

A thought stuck me…

Maybe it’s because of all those beliefs that I had;

because of the turmoil that I’m experiencing.

I set myself to "death sentence",

Yet my mind and my heart are still fighting over it.

I stopped believing all those beliefs,
but will it do?

Everything has been clear.

No matter how I wish to flee, it will always follow me..
