WWE Wrestlefest Is Back!

Complete with current-day WWE Superstars, prominent WWE Legends, an extensive downloadable content program, Road to WrestleMania progression play and multiplayer functionality, WWE WrestleFest is available now through Apple’s App Store for the suggested retail prices of US $2.99 (iPhone/iPod) and US $3.99 (iPad). It is currently being developed for XBL Arcade, Playstation Network along with Android & PC.

Faithfully recreated in line with the classic arcade experience, WWE WrestleFest will provide players with a notable roster of current WWE Superstars and popular WWE Legends, including:

John Cena
The Rock
Randy Orton
Rey Mysterio
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin
Undertaker
Jake “The Snake” Roberts
“Macho Man” Randy Savage

So far we’ve only heard of Zack Ryder being released as upcoming DLC, with the following image being posted on Twitter but it’s been hinted that we’ll be getting a lot of downloadable content:

THQ has sent out another update concerning the WWE’12 online servers.

Hey everyone,

Thanks so much for spreading the word regarding our online servers. Here’s the latest update, so feel free to post to your individual sites:

“Dear WWE Games Universe,

During the past week, we have deployed daily updates to improve our overall experience with online connectivity. Current results are much better, but we are still seeing, and we know you are also seeing some issues in “custom searches” within Community Creations during heavy load times. The normal content searches should function quickly, but you still might experience some issues when custom searching. We are still working to improve this experience as much as we can on a daily basis, but you can expect more improvements down the road in our upcoming Title Update currently in development.

Thanks so much for the up to the minute feedback on your own personal online experience in WWE ’12 in the various community sites, official forums, and our WWE Games Twitter and Facebook accounts. We hope that you have seen these latest results, and if you haven’t, by all means please let us know. Thanks once again for your patience throughout this process. We will update you again soon on any changes that we make to the servers.
