Hi everyone, this is Patty-Jo, Mama’s daughter. Mama is in the hospital tonight. She hasn’t been feeling well for several weeks, and thought she had a virus. This afternoon she began feeling weak and light headed, so we took her up to the hospital. After running several tests, it was determined that she did not have a virus or any type of infection.

Mama was diagnosed several years ago with coronary artery disease and high blood pressure. Her doctors have been controlling her symptoms with medication since then. The emergency room doctor believes she may have developed a blockage in her heart. They will probably do an angiogram in the morning to find out what is going on. Tonight they are doing a cat scan on her brain to be sure she doesn’t have a tumor or bleed or anything like that going on.

She isn’t in any pain, she just feels really weak, light headed, and gets out of breath pretty easily. She’s in good spirits; mostly annoyed that she couldn’t come home. I’m sure she’s a bit worried, but as I’m sure you all know, Mama trusts her Lord to be with her, and care for her. My son and I are staying at her house so her little dogs won’t be alone, and so Mama won’t worry about them.

Mama has lots of family who love her, but we all know that her blog family holds a special place in her heart. We are asking that you pray for Mama in whatever way the Lord leads you to. God bless all of you

We are approaching 200 members on the roll.

Some of you may be aware that Blogrolling.com was hacked many months ago.  There were thousands of people who kept their blog-rolls hosted on Blogrolling.com.  The CBO’s roll is also hosted by them.

The problem is, Blogrolling.com has never completely recovered.  We can still add names and blogs to the list, but we can not change, edit, delete or modify the roll in any way, shape or form.  We can not even delete the complete roll.

We need and must make a change.  We have waited for Blogrolling.com long enough.  I have searched for a service like Blogrolling.com, but can not find one.

We need your input.  If we do not have the roll in the current form (in a list that can be displayed and updated automatically on all pages), how should we display it?

Options…

1. We could have the roll displayed like they do on the Christian Women Online, a web page with A-D, E-H… so on and so on.
2. We could find another host for the roll.  So far, I have not found one.
3. We could change the format completely and have a page for each member’s blog and link.  We are talking about 200 pages at the present time though.
4. We could entertain a suggestion from you, the CBO blog-roll member.

When we stated that the CBO is a non-profit organization, we had no intention of leading anyone into thinking we were a registered Non-Profit entity. We thought if you didn’t make a profit from doing something, you were non-profit. For that reason, we will no longer use the term ‘non-profit’ from this day forward.

Please understand, we have previously stated that the Christian Bloggers Online Community is a non-profit and not-for-profit website. This, in a sense, is true. The individual who maintains and owns this site makes no profit from any part of the CBO. The owner never intended to make a profit from memberships, ad space or donations. For that reason, we stated that the CBO was a non-profit organization. Apparently, this caused confusion.

The CBO is an organization of Christian bloggers that is ad-free, free of charge and free to join. The owner does not make a dime from running it. The CBO was formed for the sole enjoyment of the visitors and members.

We regret any confusion this may have caused. We were not aware that there would be any confusion.

Yesterday I was reminded that He (God) has the whole world in His hands. That means ultimately, the…

• global warming won’t melt us
• melting glaciers won’t send a wall of water after us
• economic crises is not a crises for Him
• financial collapse doesn’t even put a dent in the Almighty’s funds
• battles around the world won’t affect God’s armies
• spiritual battles seemingly lost won’t affect the outcome of the war of the ages (see Revelation for a sneak peak of how it all ends)

and so on and so on.

Believe it or not, all that seems so weighty today will be a part of history tomorrow. And all of history (small ‘h’) is ultimately a part of History (big ‘H’) as it is weaved together for God’s greater purpose. And here’s a real cool part for you and me. Your story and my story can be a significant part in HIStory. Isn’t it amazing and an almost incomprehensible privilege how you and I are actually invited to play a role in the heavenly drama? He could snap His fingers and accomplish it all the same with or without you and I.

I’m glad it’s ‘with.’ That brings me great joy and gives me great purpose in life. And when I have that.
