When the Nation and it’s political watchdogs find themselves bickering like 14 year-old girls, it makes me wonder if we shouldn’t close every institution of learning and just call it quits. I wouldn’t mind plowing ground seven days a week, dawn until dusk, for eleven months per year while we pray that our Land Lord is benevolent if it would stop the bickering . If we, as citizens, aren’t willing to educate ourselves, what right do we have to a higher quality of life?

For the last three days, all the chatter has been over a axiom as old as the mid-west itself. A pig in lipstick is still a pig. Any half informed citizen knows that politicians (even McCain himself– although his latest was a pretty piss poor attempt at the axiom) from a variety of corners of the political map have uttered this statement in regard to just as various of topics

A more significant slap to moral decency has arisen in that same time period. One overlooked by our watchdogs. Overlooked by the “Morale Majority.” Overlooked by the educators. Overlooked by the vast majority of citizens, who, for all our faults, are decent human beings

The McCain camp has been slowly pumping out an ad, filled with words on Obama’s educational record (side note: McCain shares the “lackluster” education performance, why he would choose to make this an issue illustrates his campaigns stupidity maverick style). Those words are taken out of context, but that is politics as usual. It is not post worthy

The completely false and fear filling apex, however, is worthy of notation. With this fear-ad, McCain has officially gone on record claiming that Obama is trying to teach 5 year-olds how to make whoopie. A political power grab, to be certain. However, when the truth over Obama’s efforts is revealed, we can see that John McCain has no moral compass and will sacrifice anyone to gain the highest seat in the land.

Obama’s efforts in Illinois to bring age appropriate sex education to all students in the public school system should be applauded, not condemed. Mostly because to the youngest and most innocent of our citizenry were not being taught about vaginas and penises. They were being taught about what is inappropriate touching and what to do if you find yourself in that sort of a situation.

Wow. Obama is trying to stop pedophiles from defiling our most innocent. McCain is willing to throw the lambs to the wolves, so long as he is able to raze at the pasture’s highest hill.

Bravo, Mr. Maverick. I’ll be sure not to send you a Christmas card with my kids’ pictures on them. You probably have your hands full with Bristol.

Arguably one of the most naive looking Attorney Generals to have ever walked the West Wing, Alberto fell out of the public lime-light after we got bored being upset over being treated like world-renowned criminals.

A day before Palin’s informational and inspirational speech against Jesus, Alberto Gonzales was found to have mishandled highly classified documents– not surprisingly those documents are in regards to investigations against the Bush Administration. Instead of following proceedure (what use is procedure to an attorney?) and locking national security affecting, important documents in the appropriate on-campus, ridiculously secure safe, he took them home.

Why didn’t he do what he was supposed to do to keep our Nation’s secrets safe? In classic Alberto the Attorney style, he claims he had forgotten the combination to the safe. He dare not ask what it could be, lest he get razzed at the water cooler. So he took them home and after that point, anyone’s guess as to where he could have put them. I spoke with Jim Breuer and he suggested Al look in his freezer.

That just shows his dedication to Bush’s regard to “pieces of paper.”

Last night while sitting in a dive bar watching the Giants pulverize the Redskins I had my first experience with the intitial Seinfeld/Gates commercial, though I could not hear the sound. I thought it was amazing.

Watching it later on with the sound on, I was less impressed but still have an unforgiving love for Jerry Seinfeld that transcends all.

Basically, I miss Blogspedition, and we all now have a healthy fear of c-pods, so I thought we might remake some of the magic. I don’t really care if it’s successful or not, but it might be fun.
