Remember passing these things out in elementary school? Everything was just so easy back then. Even telling a boy you liked them. At least for me. I remember being in the 4th grade and I had a crush on this boy. So I decided that Valentines Day was the perfect day to tell him. But to actually speak it? Of course not. On the back of the card I gave him it said: I like you. That’s it. He was surprised for some reason but I said it. Very direct and to the point. That’s how I am. Most of the time at least. If I like you, I’m gonna tell you that I do. If I love you, it might be hard for me to say it but I’m gonna say it. Of course like I said it was easier back then. I could hide behind a card. Now I have to actually tell people my feelings in person. So overrated. I miss these little cards. I may go out and buy some but I know I will forget. And for that future “potential” out there (I’m not saying boyfriend. It freaks me out thinking that I would be someone’s girlfriend,) if you want to do something kind for me on a future Valentines Day, don’t get me red roses. Don’t buy me chocolates in a heart shaped box. But if you were to get me a little card and write on the back I like you, that would be kinda awesome.

For those of you that don’t know, I love twitter. Like really love twitter. It’s where I get my news and I’ve met some great friends using it. If you don’t follow me on twitter then you’re probably wondering what I’m always talking about. Well I’ve just discovered tweet cloud. It’s a service that lets you generate a cool looking cloud of the words your tweets mostly contain. I decided to check what I’ve been talking about for the last 6 months. Do you like the new layout? I figured a change was needed. Oh and the pink is staying. For a while at least. And no it’s not pink because of Valentine’s Day. Ew! It’s pink because I’d rather think of spring colors then the inches of snow we are suppose to get tonight. If it’s not Christmas, I don’t want snow to happen. Now let’s talk about happy things:

1. The book I’m reading :) How I’ve never read a book by Jonathan Tropper I have no idea but I’m loving This is Where I Leave You. I appreciate someone for this.

2. Buckeye basketball. How awesome is Evan Turner? I mean really? And the fact that Mark Titus is a buckeye just makes me love that basketball team even more. I’m not sure that was possible. Oh but Buckeye basketball, please don’t pull another Siena this year. I’m still not over that. I don’t know if I can take it again.

3. THE SUPERBOWL IS THIS WEEKEND! Not sure if you knew that but it’s this weekend.

I had to do something hard today. I should feel better after doing it but I don’t. I don’t know exactly what I was expecting. Not really sure if I was expecting anything. But it needed to be done. I bought this book last fall in the Barnes and Noble bargain bin. I’m just now getting around to reading it and it’s so far so good. I should finish this book rather quickly since I’m into it. That last book I was reading, I just had to stop. It got dull and didn’t pick back up but then I wondered if it ever picked up at all. Oh well, time for some reading.

I’m getting bored with this book. Also not appreciating how long it’s taking me to finish it. I don’t even remember when I bought it. Oh wait, the day Ohio State beat Penn State 24-7. I’m close to the end so hopefully it will be more entertaining. I really need a new book.

- The coldness that’s outside is more bearable.
- There is no work today.
- The Buckeye basketball season will go down more smoothly.
- The game was on ABC and not FOX :)

A Rose Bowl victory changes everything. It wasn’t just that the Buckeyes lost the last few years, but the fact that the next day was a work day and we had to go out on what seemed to be the coldest day of the year. Then Buckeye basketball’s final game happens and it hurts a bit more than expected (Florida, Siena - this one still hurts, but less). All those BCS losses were on FOX and this game was on ABC (coincidence much? Okay, maybe not). All I know is I’m a happier Buckeye fan this morning and you can’t take that away from me.
