ZELTIQ is proud to announce the first annual CoolSculpting 12 Weeks to Change Challenge. They recently launched a Facebook sweepstakes to promote awareness and spread the word about CoolSculpting, an entirely non-invasive cooling procedure that helps patients remove localized pockets of stubborn fat from their problem areas. Two Grand Prize Winners, selected at random, will receive FREE CoolSculpting Treatments.

Entering the sweepstakes is easy and requires only that potential CoolSculpting patients make a health or fitness pledge for a week that will help them improve their body in time for summer. Weekly winners are selected who will receive healthy living prizes such as a $50 REI gift card or a pair of running shoes from Nike. Contestants are eligible to make a new pledge for each of the 12 weeks of the contest, improving their chances to win prizes.

At the end of the 12 weeks, two final Grand Prize Winners will be selected at random – one female and one male – to receive a FREE CoolSculpting Treatment valued at $1,500. The contest is open to U.S. residents only and runs through August 6, 2011.

The laser works by producing short pulses of intense light that safely penetrate the skin and are absorbed by the tattoo pigment. This causes the pigment to break into tiny particles that are the absorbed by the body and removed by the immune system.

Laser tattoo removal is a gradual process and although the slowness of the process can be frustrating the end result is definitely worth the time invested. It can take 6-15 treatments (possibly more) to remove a professional tattoo and 3-6 (possibly more) to remove a homemade tattoo. Treatments are spaced 6-8 weeks apart to give the skin time to heal and the ink time to fade.
