Lil’ Wayne is expected to be released from jail on November 4th , from New York’s Rikers Island prison.

He has been keeping fans updated on his progress behind bars via a specially-dedicated website, but he will soon get to reconnect with his devotees in person — MTV News reported Wayne‘s projected release date is November 4.

Wayne will be released on November 4th if no violations are present before his release date. But Wayne is refusing to let his legal problems silence his music — he will release a new EP when he turns 28 on September 28.

Lebron James Pendant bought for $5, worth almost $10,000 now!

When Vaneisha Robinson bought a diamond studded pendant in the shape of LeBron James‘ number 23 jersey at a yard sale four years ago, she thought it was costume jewelry.

“I used to go to high school with it around my neck, not knowing the value of it,” Robinson said.

Robinson got curious about the pendant’s value a few months ago when she noticed the diamonds were set in the same way real ones are. She took it to a local jewelry store for a once-over.

“They tested the diamonds and they told me that it was real and that I should invest in getting it certified,” Robinson said.

Robinson, 20, who is an amateur boxer, saved $200 to pay for a certified appraisal by the International Gemological Institute. The pendant she paid $5 for four years ago is worth nearly $10,000. She’s put the jewelry up for sale on eBay.

Despite the backlash caused by James’ decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and play for the Miami Heat, Robinson believes the pendant will sell for top dollar.

“LeBron James (sig) brand will never die out,” she said.

“If he got a ring it might go up in value. You never know.”

IT’S OFFICIAL!!! LeBron James is going to the Miami Heat.

25-year old small forward LeBron James has decided to sign with the Miami Heat. James is coming off back to back MVP seasons but he still doesn’t have any rings. He hopes coming to join Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade in Miami will help him change that. He will have to adjust to being the #2 guy on the team as the Heat belong to D-Wade. James played in 76 games (all starts) for the Cavaliers last season and he averaged 39.0 minutes, 29.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 8.6 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.0 blocked shot per game. He has now played in 548 games (547 starts) in his 7 years in the NBA and he has averaged 40.3 minutes, 27.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.9 blocked shots per game. Despite only being 25 years old, LeBron James is #110 in NBA history in points scored (15,251), #100 in assists (3,810), #148 in steals (955) and he is #215 in blocked shots (482). The contract details will be ironed out later but it doesn’t matter as the Heat have the most awesome trio of players ever on the same team.

UPDATE at 10:07 ET: Time for the signoff, and a happy ending from LeBron. He reminds the audience that all the proceeds from the sponsorship spots that were sold for tonight’s show will go to the Boy’s and Girls’ Clubs of Cleveland, Akron, Miami, Chicago, New York and Miami. Says LeBron: “This is an unbelievable venture for myself . . . This is great, also for the kids. The kids are our future . . . One day I might have another LeBron, maybe.” The University of Phoenix also says it’s good for a $500,000 donation and five scholarships.

UPDATE at 10:03 ET: LeBron, says this has been in the works for awhile, and that playing on the Olympic team with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh played a big role. “I think it was something in the making . . . The fact we all signed the same deal a few years ago (and became free agents at the same time). Now, it’s like a dream come true . . . I think the friendship has been there from day one.”

UPDATE at 9:58 ET: LeBron, on the fact Mario Chalmers is wearing his No. 6 already for the Heat: “I think I’ll give Mario a call and see if we can work something out.”

Virgin America marked signed its first flight from California to Toronto on Tuesday (June 29th) with a mile-high party aboard an Airbus A320 airplane called the “Air Drake.

Welcome to Air Drake! Passengers you may be seated! Drake has become the latest celebrity to have a plane named after him on Virgin Airlines! Virgin Airlines has named its premier international airplane after Drake, which made him the first hip-hop superstar to have a commercial plane named after him.

Here’s what Virgin Airlines reps announced…

“We’re honored to name our plane Air Drake,” says Branson. “He’s Canadian through and through; he’s one of the most successful Canadians. He bridges the gap between Canada and America very successfully.”

The plane, “Air Drake,” offers flights from Toronto to San Francisco and Los Angeles.
