Nick Carter is looking to make his return to reality television. He hopes to televise his trip down the aisle with bride to be, Lauren Kitt.

The Backstreet Boy first starred in a reality series alongside his siblings in 2006 in “House of Carters.” The one-season series saw tons of drama, fuelled by fights, tears and an addict mother.

This time around, Carter would focus solely on his upcoming wedding as he tries to “make amends with his past” before the nuptials. The singer would also executive produce the show.

The series has yet to be picked up, but several networks have reportedly shown interest.

In the meantime, Carter will be opening up about his problems with substance abuse and his family woes in an upcoming book titled “Facing the Music and Living to Talk About It.”

The autobiography will also serve as a self-help book  and will be published by Bird Street Books.

Carter’s memoir will be released on September 24.

Maya Rudolph and Danny McBride might not be an actual couple, but the two sure can fake it as they proved in these awkward family photos for GQ magazine.

The pair took on the roles of parents in photos for six different families, all equally as awkward as the last. They posed with puppies, with a Christmas tree and with afros in the safari, all the while sporting cheesy matching outfits.

“With the child quotient, we were thinking we’d have to be on our best behavior,” Rudolph said of the photo shoot. “But then one of our daughters—cherubic face, 11 years old—started singing along to the filthiest, dirtiest southern rap.”

Joseph Gordon-Levitt does it all in his upcoming movie, “Don Jon.” He wrote and directed the film, and stars in it alongside Scarlett Johansson.

In a new trailer for the film, main character Don Martello (played by Gordon-Levitt) lists off the things that matter the most to him in life: “My body, my pad, my ride, my family, my church, my boys, my girls, and my porn.” But when he meets Barbara (played by Johansson), Don has to reevaluate what’s important to him.

“Don Jon” is basically what happens when you mix “Jersey Shore” with a romantic comedy — and the result seems pretty great.

Tony Danza and Julianne Moore also star in “Don Jon,” and Channing Tatum and Anne Hathaway make small appearances. Watch the trailer for “Don Jon” in the video below.

Avril Lavigne covers Nylon magazine’s Music Issue. In her interview, the singer talks about the new direction her upcoming album has taken.

“I just wanted to write songs and make something that was a little more artistic. I wanted to go down that road, I wasn’t trying to write a big radio record,” she said.

Lavigne added that the subjects she touches upon in her new songs are also different, taking on a more personal tone.

“Lyrically I pushed myself to talk about different subjects I haven’t talked about before. I didn’t want to be so simple. I tried to really express myself and go deeper.”

J. J. Abrams has been under fire for a particular scene included in “Star Trek Into Darkness.” In the scene, Alice Eve, who plays Carol, is seen wearing only her under garments, which some critics say was a sexist move. Abrams wanted to set the record straight, so he revealed a deleted scene from the film which features Benedict Cumberbatch (who plays Khan) in the shower.

During an interview with Conan O’Brien, Abrams shared the deleted scene while also admitting the Eve scene could have been better.

“I don’t think I quite edited the scene the right way,” he said. “To me it was a sort of balance,” he added, saying there is another scene in the film which features Chris Pine (Captain Kirk) shirtless.

As somewhat of an apology for the Eve scene, Abrams unveiled an unseen clip of Cumberbatch in the shower.

“It’s not in the movie but we have this, and it is one of those things we ended up cutting,” Abrams said, joking that it was “a shower of evil.”

Jennifer Aniston stars alongside Jason Sudeikis and Emma Roberts in a not-for-kids comedy titled “We’re The Millers.”

The film centers around a man (Sudeikis) who hires three people, including a stripper (played by Aniston), to pose as his family as they attempt to smuggle large amounts of marijuana into the U.S. They pile into an RV and find the task isn’t as easy as they thought.

Along the way, the fake family comes across awkward swingers, listen to old-school TLC and realize they have somehow stolen from a drug lord. To help get themselves home safely, Aniston proceeds to strip for said drug lord.

Ed Helms and Will Poulter also star in the film. “We’re The Millers” will hit theaters on August 9. Check out the trailer below.

Emma Roberts will be joining the cast of “American Horror Story” for the show’s third season titled “Coven.” It is unclear what part Roberts’ character will play, however she is said to be a party girl.

The show is also staying pretty quiet about what the third-season of “American Horror Story” will bring to viewers, other than it will be witch-themed. Producers of the show have revealed that they are searching for real-life haunted houses in America and are basing three characters on real people.

“American Horror Story: Coven” will also feature appearances from Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe and Roberts’ real-life boyfriend, Evan Peters, who has been on the series since its first season.

Sharon Osbourne is rejoining the judges panel on the U.K. version of “X Factor” for the show’s 10th season. Osbourne will be replacing Tulisa Contostavlos, joining fellow judges Take That singer Gary Barlow, singer Nicole Scherzinger and entertainment manager Louis Walsh.

Osbourne was one of “X Factor’s” original judges, sitting on the panel from 2004 to 2007.

“I couldn’t be happier about coming back for the 10th anniversary of ‘X Factor,’” she said of her return to the show. ”I can’t wait to give Gary Barlow a big hug, sit next to the gorgeous Nicole, and of course throw water on dear Louis. Yay!”

Executive producer Simon Cowell added: ”Three words I never thought I’d say: Welcome back Sharon!”

Dermot O’Leary will be retuning to host the show. The “X Factor” U.K. will return to ITV in the fall.

Ellie Goulding‘s musical rise continues to climb the charts and win over hearts. The singer appears on the May 2013 music issue of Status magazine.

Goulding spoke about writing her new album. She confessed, “I could be very self-indulgent and I could be a lot more expressive with the things that I write about, but I make sure that I say what I need to say to get across.”

She also spoke about her heroes, like Bjork. “She’s another artist who stopped me from being afraid of anything. I associate her music strongly also with feeling lonely and feeling like I had no one to talk to. I felt like there was something that I wanted to do but didn’t know what it was, and it turns out it was writing. It was sort of in me, but I didn’t know how to get it out. She just took me to another world with her music and it’s what I needed at the time.”

Another big influence is a bit more of a surprise. It turns out it’s Pearl Jam. She said, “They got me through a lot of stuff when I was in my teenage years. I had new ways to discover things about myself and what kind of person that I was. I suppose it made me realize I could write a lot more emotionally than I ever had, and I shouldn’t be afraid of being honest.”

“Good Morning America” anchor, Robin Roberts, will be releasing her memoir. Last year, Roberts was diagnosed with a rare blood and bone marrow condition and underwent a bone marrow transplant in September. The upcoming book will give readers insight into her experiences.

After undergoing surgery last year, Roberts returned to her post on “GMA” in February. Earlier this week, she as given a standing ovation at the Peabody Awards when ABC News won an award for a special aired about Roberts’ transplant titled “Robin’s Journey.”

The book will be published by Grand Central Publishing, an imprint of Hachette Book Group.

“I have long admired Robin Roberts’s career and courage and am so honored to be publishing her book,” said Jamie Raab, president and publisher of Grand Central. “Her story is both dramatic and inspiring, and will capture the incredible spirit that has endeared her to all of us who have followed her remarkable career and life.”
