The refined palate of Kanye West demands nothing but the best, and that apparently means Hermes dishes that cost £700 apiece and complementary cutlery that costs £4,500.

“Kanye is very particular about his plates and cutlery,” a source told The Sun. “Everything is the best quality.”

The anonymous source also gave some insight into the rapper’s relationship with Kim Kardashian, especially his influence on her personal style: “Kanye has been having chats with Kim about her style. He thinks she should be more like him, edgy with her choices. He keeps saying she should ‘evolve’ as a fashion icon.”

“Vampire Diaries” star Ian Somerhalder is downright debonair in the June 2012 issue of GQ. The actor is one of several celebrities selected to front the magazine’s upcoming competition with Ketel One, “A Gentleman’s Call: In Pursuit of an Idea That Matters.”

The accompanying photo shoot shows Somerhalder in a variety of gentlemanly suits. It’s no wonder his is one of the names being thrown about for the “Fifty Shades of Grey” lead role. Check out more photos of Ian Somerhalder in GQ below.

Kate Moss is on location in Jamaica for this photo shoot for the June issue of Harper’s Bazaar. The supermodel donned “the best of the collections,” according to the mag, including furry ponchos, sheer cutout bodycon dresses, bandage swimsuits and leather dresses. There’s even a chainmail dress with crossed straps by Yves Saint Laurent, which Moss uses as a coverup.

Photographer Terry Richardson captured the editorial, while fashion editor Andrew Richardson was in charge of the styling.

TMZ is reporting that Britney Spears‘ massive $15 million paycheck for “The X Factor” was driven by one unyielding requirement: the pop star’s earnings would have to be more than the figure Jennifer Lopez commanded in her first season of “American Idol.”

Lopez, as you’ll recall, made $12 million in that first season; it’s rumored that her “Idol” earnings are now as high as $20 million. Spears’ bottom line was $13 million for “X Factor,” and she and producers eventually settled on $15 million.

TMZ postulates that Lopez will use earnings as a sticking point in her decision to return to “American Idol,” ideally positioning herself to make more than Spears should she re-sign with the show. Turnabout is fair play, right?

New pics have just been released of Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz and Don Johnson in Quentin Tarantino’s “Django Unchained.”

While the film isn’t being released until Christmas Day, sneak footage of the film was shown by The Weinstein Co at the Cannes Film Festival. Foxx looks awesome, but no-one’s quite sure what yet to expect from the film.

Knowing Tarantino though, it’s sure to provoke and kick-ass.

Can you imagine a Kanye West amusement park? The rapper plans to add to his growing collection of entrepreneurial ventures with a theme park.

“What I want to do post-Grammys is I want to work on cities, I want to work on amusement parks, I want to change entertainment experiences or life,” he told GQ. “Something like if McQueen or Tarsem was to meet the entertainment value of a Cirque du Soleil or a Walt Disney. With the Donda company, this is our first installation.”

If you’ve ever wanted to own Graceland-worthy memorabilia, you’re in luck: Elvis Presley‘s tomb is up for auction. Diehard fans of The King know that Presley was originally buried next to his mother at Forest Hill Cemetery in August 1977, but both were reburied at Graceland two months later. It’s the original Forest Hill tomb that’s up for auction.

Presley’s tomb will be a part of the Music Icons auction put on by Darren Julien, a Beverly Hills auctioneer. Bidding will begin on June 23; The Wrap reports that the winning bid will get “opening and closing of the vault, a memorial inscription and use of a chapel for a service.”

It was only two years ago when Conan O’Brien found himself in the middle of a major late-night controversy. Whether you believe Jay Leno‘s disastrous 10 p.m. lead-in hurt Conan’s ratings or if you think it had to do with his quirky humor not translating to older Americans, there’s little argument that the entire ordeal was handled poorly.

In a new cover story with The Hollywood Reporter, O’Brien explains how he has emerged the victor.

Sure, the ratings at a cable station like TBS pale in comparison to those of the major network giants. However, O’Brien has acquired something worth its weight in gold: the coveted 18-to-34-year-old viewers. Where his average viewer is 37, Leno’s is 58. Conan also has the most Twitter followers and Facebook fans of anybody on late-night. In this digital age, being able to see the entire picture and not just a “ratings” number may make Conan O’Brien and TBS one of the smartest pairings of the decade.
