Sky Ferreira Accuses Charli XCX of Stealing Her Unreleased Demo Songs for Wuthering Heights Album

Sky Ferreira publicly implied that her unreleased demos were used — without proper credit — on Charli XCX’s Wuthering Heights soundtrack album.
Specific tracks called into question include “Eyes of the World,” the intro to “Chains of Love,” and “Altars,” which fans claim may be rooted in Ferreira’s original work dating as far back as 2015.
Ferreira insists she has dated proof of her contributions, but says it isn’t worth the fight — a pointed nod to how the music industry tends to handle artists in her position.

Sky Ferreira — the elusive, perpetually delayed album-having “Everything Is Embarrassing” singer — has spent the past few weeks implying that her fingerprints are a lot more prominent on Charli XCX‘s Wuthering Heights album than anyone realized. And she’s not being subtle about it.

It started back in February, when Wuthering Heights dropped and a meme circulated about Charli dragging Ferreira back into the studio to make the album. Ferreira’s response in the comments was blunt: “To record my old songs.” No explanation. No elaboration. Just six words and a handful of asterisks that sent the internet into a full spiral.

That comment simmered for weeks. Then, earlier this month, a fan account named Leon on X decided to question Ferreira’s sources of income — which, in retrospect, was a bold choice. Ferreira found the post and clapped back: “I toured for years. I work. I hate to break it to you, but your favorite artist records my old songs. I hope that answers your question.”

Still no names. But everyone understood who she was talking about.

Leon then posted a since-deleted screenshot of a text exchange with an alleged “industry insider,” who claimed that “Eyes of the World” — the track on which Ferreira is officially credited as a guest feature — and the intro to “Chains of Love” were both taken from her demo “Ancient Idols,” a track dating to around 2018 that had been intended for her long-suffering, still-unreleased second album, Masochism. The insider also alleged that “Altars” was based on a Ferreira demo from 2015.

Ferreira didn’t confirm those specifics — but she didn’t exactly deny them either. She responded to Leon: “Your industry ‘insider’ is wrong. Close but wrong.” Then, in a follow-up, she added: “I’m not going to get into it but it was definitely more than an intro. I have proof of everything with dates. It isn’t worth the trouble bc I know how the world works.”

“Close but wrong” and “more than an intro” is a very specific kind of not-denying something.

Ferreira has been careful not to directly accuse Charli XCX of theft by name, framing the issue instead as part of a broader pattern within the music industry — one where creative ownership gets muddied and original authors don’t always get their due. But the implication is loud enough that no one is missing it.

The through line in all of this appears to be producer Justin Raisen. Ferreira’s frequent collaborator also worked on the Wuthering Heights soundtrack with Charli, and fans have been quick to speculate that music Ferreira created with Raisen — work she reportedly couldn’t release while stuck in her deal with Capitol Records — may have eventually made its way to Charli’s project.

Ferreira has been candid in past interviews about her decade-long battle with Capitol Records, noting that the label “waited until the 10-year anniversary of Night Time, My Time to drop me via an automated message that got forwarded to me.” So the idea that her unreleased work could’ve ended up in someone else’s hands isn’t exactly a stretch.

The irony of all this? Charli has, on more than one occasion, declared her deep admiration for Ferreira — once saying that while she was “the biggest Rihanna stan ever,” Ferreira was “the only exception” because “she’s one of a kind.”

For now, Charli XCX has not commented on Ferreira’s claims. Given that this all played out across Instagram comments and since-deleted tweets, it’s a very 2026 kind of drama — chaotic, partially redacted, and deeply unresolved.

Ferreira says she has proof of everything with dates. Whether she ever decides it’s worth the trouble remains to be seen.

Brian Cox, nearly 80, told The Times he’s done holding back, unloading fresh criticism on Margot Robbie, and doubling down on past slams of Johnny Depp and Edward Norton.
Cox mocked Robbie’s casting in Wuthering Heights, called Depp “overblown and overrated,” labeled Norton “a pain in the arse,” and torched Quentin Tarantino and Gary Oldman along the way.
The Succession star dismissed concerns from his wife and even Daniel Day-Lewis, declaring: “F–k it! I’m gonna say what I want to say.”

Brian Cox has never been shy about his opinions. But somewhere between Succession wrapping and his upcoming 80th birthday, the Scottish actor has apparently decided that the filter is fully, officially, irrevocably off.

In a new profile with The Times UK — timed to promote his directorial debut Glenrothan — Cox dragged a remarkable roster of Hollywood names through the mud with the cheerful energy of a man who has genuinely stopped caring what anyone thinks.

When asked whether his relentless commentary on fellow stars has cost him anything, Cox was refreshingly unbothered. “I mean, my wife [Nicole Ansari-Cox] keeps saying, ‘Brian, be careful. Brian, be careful.’ I think, ‘F–k it, I don’t want to be careful anymore! I’ll be 80 this year. F—k it! I’m gonna say what I want to say,'” he told the outlet.

And say it he did.

Johnny Depp: Still Overrated, Apparently

Cox revealed that he declined to play the governor in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise because he didn’t want to work with Johnny Depp, whom he called “so overblown, so overrated.” The role, for those keeping score, went to Jonathan Pryce. Cox walked away. He has no regrets.

This isn’t new territory — Cox has been lobbing this particular grenade at Depp for years — but he’s clearly not done throwing it.

Margot Robbie: Too Pretty for Cathy

The freshest target this round is Margot Robbie, who is set to star as Catherine Earnshaw in Emerald Fennell’s new adaptation of Wuthering Heights. Cox is… skeptical.

He mocked Robbie’s Australian accent while riffing on the casting, exclaiming: “‘Keith Cliff! It’s me, Cathy! How ya doing, Keith? Awright?’ ‘Yeah, I’m awright!'”

“Margot Robbie is far too beautiful for that role,” Cox said. “I mean, I think there should be something more of the Gypsy about her but it’s wrong of me to judge. It may be a brilliant film.”

He added that he hasn’t actually seen the film yet. A minor detail, clearly.

Edward Norton, Kevin Spacey, Ian McKellen: A Buffet of Grievances

Cox co-starred with Edward Norton in Spike Lee‘s 25th Hour, and the experience left an impression — just not a good one. He called Norton “a pain in the ase,” writing that “he’s a nice lad but a bit of a pain in the ase because he fancies himself as a writer-director.”

Cox extended his criticism to Kevin Spacey, whom he described as “a stupid, stupid man,” and to his X2 co-star, Ian McKellen, saying the actor’s performances are “not to my taste.”

Tarantino, Oldman, and a Director He Really Can’t Stand

The slams didn’t stop at actors. Cox called Quentin Tarantino “meretricious” and dismissed Gary Oldman‘s Oscar-winning Winston Churchill performance in Darkest Hour as “cobblers” and “a crowd-pleasing farrago.”

He also referred to director Michael Caton-Jones as “a complete arsehole” and described playwright David Hare in terms not printable in polite company.

Daniel Day-Lewis Tried to Check Him. It Didn’t Work.

Cox’s ongoing criticism of method acting — including pointed remarks about Succession co-star Jeremy Strong — apparently irked Daniel Day-Lewis, who reportedly told Cox to get off his “soapbox.” Cox’s response to Day-Lewis? Ice cold.

“No, I haven’t reached out because it’s got nothing to do with Dan Day-Lewis,” he said, dismissing the idea of a reconciliation entirely.

At this point, Brian Cox isn’t just Hollywood’s most prolific critic — he’s its most committed one. Nearly 80, freshly directorial, and utterly uninterested in making friends on the way out, he’s proof that there’s a certain freedom that comes with age. Whether Hollywood appreciates the candor is, frankly, no longer his problem.

He will receive $40 million for starring and producing in the movie, which will be directed by David Fincher. The Adventures of Cliff Booth is not a direct sequel to OUATIH; instead, it jumps ahead to the 1970s and follows Cliff’s life after working as Rick Dalton’s stuntman. [Celebitchy]

As someone who loves trivia and playing Jeopardy, I was happy that these questions were a little more on the easy side (being a YouTube addict myself probably didn’t hurt).

It’s a fun watch for a pair of good causes – The Trevor Project and GLAAD (who are the real winners here).

Summary

Jonathan Majors and co-star JC Kilcoyne fell six feet through an unsecured sheet of tempered glass while filming a scene on the South Carolina set of an untitled Daily Wire and Bonfire Legend action movie in late March.
Following the incident and additional safety concerns, more than half the crew walked off and unionized with IATSE, resulting in a labor strike on March 26.
Producers responded to the strike with a series of incendiary statements, including declaring they “don’t negotiate with communists.”

Jonathan Majors can’t seem to catch a break. Or, apparently, a window frame.

Majors and co-star JC Kilcoyne were the victims of a movie stunt gone wrong, falling through a glass window and tumbling six feet down to the ground on the South Carolina set of his much-anticipated — or, depending on your perspective, much-dreaded — comeback film. The accident, first reported by Deadline, was even captured on video for everyone to watch on a slow Friday afternoon.

Here’s the part that makes it worse: the accident occurred after the window was replaced with an unsecured sheet of tempered glass meant to be shattered in a later stunt that did not involve any actors. In other words, nobody told the actors they were essentially leaning against a very loose, very breakable pane of glass. Cool safety protocols, everyone.

The tempered glass was only sitting loosely in the window, and Kilcoyne required stitches “all over his hands” after the accident. Majors, reportedly, walked away uninjured. His reps have stayed conspicuously silent on the whole thing — though in the footage, Majors can be heard saying “Use it!” before the fall. Make of that what you will.

Kilcoyne’s team was a bit more forthcoming. In a statement, reps for Kilcoyne wrote that the actor “is doing well and was taken care of immediately by production,” adding that “JC did not feel unsafe on set and continues to have a positive experience working on the project.” Bold stance from a man who needed hand stitches.

Meanwhile, the crew had a decidedly different take on the “positive experience” vibe. One crew member, who arrived on set after the incident to help reset the scene, told Deadline on the condition of anonymity: “When I got there, nobody mentioned anything about people falling out the window…It seemed weird to me.” Weird is one word for it.

The window fall turned out to be the straw that broke the camel’s back — or, the pane that sent the actors to the ground. The window in the scene had been replaced with an unsecured sheet of tempered glass, and both Majors and Kilcoyne fell backward through it, landing about six feet below. The incident accelerated a wave of safety complaints that had apparently been building for weeks.

Crew members who walked off the job told Deadline that it was just the tip of the iceberg in terms of their concerns. Multiple workers corroborated incidents involving props falling onto crew, including a rigged tree branch that hit the set medic. There were also reports of black mold in buildings and a lack of standard safety coordinators. A full house of red flags, basically.

Following the incident, more than half the crew working on the film decided to walk off and unionize with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), resulting in a labor strike on March 26. By the time things escalated, more than 60% of the crew had signed union cards affirming their desire for a collective bargaining agreement with IATSE.

The producers’ response to all of this? Unhinged, frankly.

In a statement, producer Dallas Sonnier said he and his fellow producers were “too busy being bad asses, blowing sh*t up, flying helicopters, and killing movie terrorists to concern ourselves with four assholes with signs on the sidewalk and their illegitimate ‘strike’.”

And then, seemingly deciding that wasn’t enough, Sonnier doubled down. In a new response to Deadline, Sonnier said: “The entire industry is in freefall due to strikes, and now that their members are out of work, they’re trying to sabotage the few people who are still producing. We don’t negotiate with communists.”

As for the video of Majors and Kilcoyne going out the window? Sonnier told The Hollywood Reporter, “The actors’ fall was shorter than the failed movie careers of the now-union reps.” Cool. Very mature. Very professional.

The film, which has since been identified as Run Hide Fight Infidels, is described as an “anthology sequel” to director Kyle Rankin’s 2020 action thriller Run Hide Fight, with a story said to be in the vein of ’80s and ’90s action movies like Red Dawn and Toy Soldiers. Ben Shapiro is producing for The Daily Wire.

The untitled film marks Majors’ first movie in four years after he was dropped from numerous projects when found guilty in 2023 of assaulting his former girlfriend. A comeback vehicle involving a literal fall through a window, strikes, and producers calling union workers communists. Truly, the Hollywood redemption arc we didn’t see coming.

Woods, who is dating Trump’s former daughter-in-law Vanessa Trump, has since pleaded not guilty and announced he is stepping away to seek treatment.

When your car flips in Florida, most people call 911 or their insurance company. Tiger Woods apparently had a different contact in mind.

Bodycam footage obtained by TMZ and released Thursday (April 2, 2026) shows that in the window between rolling his Land Rover SUV on Jupiter Island on March 27 and getting arrested for DUI, the golf legend stepped away from officers to make a phone call. When a deputy asked him to return, Woods wrapped up the conversation with a breezy “Thank you so much. All right. You got it. Bye. Thank you,” and walked back calmly.

Then came the name-drop.

“I was just talking to the president,” Woods told the deputy after hanging up the phone. Whether the name-drop was a habit or a Hail Mary, it didn’t help — deputies arrested him shortly after.

It’s worth noting the context here, because there is a lot of it. Woods is currently dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., and Trump awarded Woods the Congressional Medal of Freedom in 2019. So yes, these two are genuinely close — this wasn’t Woods cold-calling the White House, hoping to get through to the receptionist.

As for the crash itself, it was chaotic. Woods told authorities he was looking at his phone and changing the radio station when his speeding Land Rover clipped the back of a truck and rolled onto its side on a residential road on Jupiter Island. In classic understatement befitting a man who has survived worse, he told an officer: “I looked down at my phone and all of a sudden… BOOM!”

No one else was injured. Woods, however, was not doing great.

According to a Martin County Sheriff’s arrest affidavit, the golfer had “bloodshot and glassy eyes,” “extremely dilated pupils,” and was “sweating profusely.” Deputies also found something a little extra during their search: two white pills in his pocket. “That’s a Norco,” Woods said after an officer pulled them out, referring to a painkiller that contains acetaminophen and the opioid hydrocodone.

Woods blew “triple zeroes” on a breathalyzer — meaning zero alcohol — but refused a urine test, leading to misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.

Martin County Deputy Sheriff Tatiana Levenar wasn’t convinced by the zeros. “I do believe your normal faculties are impaired, and you’re under an unknown substance, so at this time you’re under arrest for DUI,” she told Woods after conducting a field sobriety test.

At the sheriff’s office, Woods maintained his innocence with what might be the most relatable DUI defense of 2026: “I’m not drunk. I’m on a prescription medication.”

Trump, for his part, was characteristically verbose when asked about his old friend. “I feel so bad. He’s got some difficulty — there was an accident, and that’s all I know,” Trump told reporters. “A very close friend of mine, he’s an amazing person, an amazing man. But some difficulty. I don’t want to talk about it.”

He then talked about it some more. “He lives a life of pain. He has a lot of pain. He’s an amazing guy. He’s an amazing athlete. He does have pain,” Trump said Tuesday (March 31, 2026). “He doesn’t have an alcohol problem, but he does have pain.”

This is not, as the kids say, Woods’ first rodeo. He was arrested in May 2017 for DUI in Florida after cops found him asleep in a car that had been damaged, with traces of Vicodin, Dilaudid, Xanax, Ambien, and THC in his system. He resolved that case with a diversion program and avoided a conviction.

Woods, 50, has pleaded not guilty. He was expected to compete at The Masters this week, but will not be attending. Instead, he posted a statement saying he was stepping away indefinitely “to seek treatment and focus on my health,” adding, “This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.”

Trump, ever the optimist, told reporters after news of the treatment decision broke that it was “a good thing” that he was seeking treatment.

The White House did not respond to requests for comment on the phone call. Presumably, the president had other things on his plate — but apparently not at the moment his phone rang on Jupiter Island.

A federal judge dismissed 10 of Blake Lively’s 13 claims against Justin Baldoni, including all sexual harassment counts, just one month before trial.
The judge ruled Lively was an independent contractor — not an employee — meaning she couldn’t bring harassment claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.
Three claims survive — retaliation, aiding and abetting retaliation, and breach of contract — and a jury trial is still set for May 18.

A federal judge handed Justin Baldoni a significant legal win Thursday, dismissing Blake Lively‘s sexual harassment claims just one month before their high-profile trial is set to begin.

In a sweeping 152-page ruling, U.S. District Judge Lewis J. Liman tossed out 10 of Lively’s 13 claims against Baldoni, including harassment, defamation, and conspiracy. The decision comes after more than a year of very public, very messy litigation between the former It Ends With Us co-stars — and it’s a lot to unpack.

The case isn’t over. Not by a long shot.

Three claims survived the ruling and are headed to a jury trial scheduled for May 18: breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding and abetting in retaliation. Worth noting: Baldoni is not a defendant in any of the remaining claims — one claim against his production company, Wayfarer, remains.

So how did the sexual harassment claims get dismissed? It essentially came down to a technicality. Judge Liman determined that Lively was an independent contractor rather than an employee, meaning she was not entitled to bring sexual harassment claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 — the law that prohibits employment discrimination on the basis of gender.

Lively’s team was quick to frame that distinction as the crux of the dismissal — not a vindication for Baldoni.

“Sexual harassment isn’t going forward not because the defendants did nothing wrong but because the court determined Blake Lively was an independent contractor, not an employee,” said Sigrid McCawley, one of Lively’s attorneys.

McCawley wasn’t done. “This case has always been and will remain focused on the devastating retaliation and the extraordinary steps the defendants took to destroy Blake Lively’s reputation because she stood up for safety on the set, and that is the case that is going to trial,” she said.

The judge’s ruling also got into some uncomfortable territory around what counts as harassment on a film set. The judge noted specific allegations — that during filming, Baldoni kissed Lively’s forehead, rubbed his face and mouth against her neck, put his thumb to her mouth, flicked her lower lip, and leaned into her neck saying “it smells good” — but found that the conduct had to be viewed in the context of the movie they were making.

The judge concluded that Baldoni was, at least in the relevant moments, “acting in the scene.” “Creative artists, no less than comedy room writers, must have some amount of space to experiment within the bounds of an agreed script without fear of being held liable for sexual harassment,” Liman wrote. Baldoni’s side, naturally, was pleased.

“We’re very pleased the Court dismissed all sexual harassment claims and every claim brought against the individual defendants: Justin Baldoni, Jamey Heath, Steve Sarowitz, Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel. These were very serious allegations, and we are grateful to the Court for its careful review of the facts, law and voluminous evidence that was provided,” read a statement from Baldoni’s attorneys Alexandra Shapiro and Jonathan Bach.

They added: “What’s left is a significantly narrowed case, and we look forward to presenting our defense.”

This whole saga kicked off in December 2024, when Lively initially filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department, accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment and retaliation, then followed up with a federal lawsuit. Lively’s legal team alleged Baldoni was “kissed, nuzzled and touched” without her consent and was “consistently inappropriate” and crossed “boundaries” on set.

Lively also claimed that there was a “multi-tiered plan” by Baldoni and his team to wreck her reputation, and that she lost $161 million because of a smear campaign his team orchestrated — an allegation his lawyers have denied.

Baldoni fought back with a $400 million countersuit against Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds, alleging the couple “hijacked” his film and attempted to destroy his career — a lawsuit a federal judge dismissed last June.

In an early February hearing, Lively and Baldoni were “unsuccessful in reaching any kind of resolution” during a court-ordered settlement conference, Baldoni’s attorney Bryan Freedman said at the time.

The trial is still on. Lively’s team made clear she’s ready. A member of her legal team said the actor “looks forward to testifying at trial and continuing to shine a light on this vicious form of online retaliation so that it becomes easier to detect and fight.”

That testimony is now just weeks away.

On a new episode of the New York Times’ Modern Love podcast, released Wednesday (April 1, 2026) alongside her The Drama co-star Robert Pattinson, Zendaya finally offered something the internet has been waiting years for — a genuine, unguarded peek into the emotional logic of “Tomdaya.”

The episode centered on the film’s central question: “What if you don’t know the person you love as well as you think you do?” Pattinson opened with a bold position. “I think the second you meet somebody, you know which way the relationship is going to go,” he said.

“I think sometimes, at least in my personal experience, I found that sometimes people can get nervous around people,” she told the podcast, “but there’s a certain feeling that I was able to experience when I knew that this is my person, because I didn’t. I don’t feel nervous, I feel really peaceful and I feel really calm. And I actually feel more nervous when I’m away from you than when I’m with you. And that’s when I was like, ‘Ah, that’s a good sign, that’s me listening to intuition.'”

She also traced it back to the very beginning. “We first met in an audition, so I was pretty nervous anyway, but he did make me feel calm just by being a nice person,” Zendaya said. “Having to do a chemistry read for a big movie like that — it’s like, you really want the job … and yeah, he was really lovely then.”

Holland and Zendaya met on the set of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and went public with their relationship in 2021. Since then, they’ve been the kind of couple that the public has developed an almost aggressive attachment to — something Zendaya is fully aware of.

“There is a level of a parasocial investment in my personal relationship, which I understand,” she said on the podcast, “and I am aware that I’m a public person, and so is he, and I’m also aware that we’ve grown up in front of people, and we’ve done movies where we fall in love with each other.”

She gets it. She just isn’t going to hand over the details.

And right now, there are a lot of details people very much want. At the 2026 SAG Actor Awards on March 1, Law Roach — Zendaya’s stylist of over a decade — told Access Hollywood on the red carpet that “the wedding has already happened.” When the reporter pushed back, he replied, “It’s very true,” before walking off.

Then came the gold band. Spotted on Zendaya’s finger at the Louis Vuitton autumn/winter 2026 show at the Louvre on March 10 — replacing the 5.02-carat cushion-cut diamond she’d debuted at the 2025 Golden Globes. A wedding band, on the correct finger. Paired with a curly pixie bob that, as one observer noted, looked like someone who had recently made a very permanent decision.

Then came Jimmy Kimmel Live! on March 16, where Zendaya joked she hadn’t “seen any of that,” while also making sure to address the AI-generated wedding photos that had been circulating. “Many people have been fooled by them,” she admitted. “I was just out and about in real life and people are like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous,’ and I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real.'”

Roach had already telegraphed all of this — in April 2025, he told E! News that Zendaya’s wedding dress would be “a wedding dress that nobody will ever see.” He added that “she and Tom are super private. There won’t be a Vogue spread, or there won’t be pictures of the wedding, and the people that she will invite will be really respectful of their privacy.”

And that’s exactly what has happened. Whatever ceremony did or didn’t occur, it was guarded with a level of professional-grade secrecy that most celebrities couldn’t pull off with a team of publicists, a non-disclosure agreement, and a prayer.

It tracks. Holland told The Hollywood Reporter in 2023: “Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible. We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”

Holland put it even more plainly to GQ in 2021: “One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world.”

So here’s where we are: the stylist says it happened, the gold band says it happened, and Zendaya says she feels more at peace with Tom Holland than with anyone she’s ever met.

Whether or not there’s a certificate somewhere with both their names on it? That’s for them to know and for the rest of us to spiral about.

As Zendaya put it, keeping some details to themselves allows them to “preserve things for ourselves so that we can maintain that joy just within ourselves and our loved ones and our family.”

Which is, honestly, kind of beautiful. Even if it’s also deeply inconvenient for the rest of us.

If you were waiting for the Jen Shah redemption interview, congratulations: it’s here. Months after trading her designer wardrobe for a federal prison jumpsuit and back again, the former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star has officially broken her silence — and yes, she comes bearing remorse.

In a wide-ranging interview with People magazine, Shah — who was released in December after serving nearly three years at a federal prison camp — admitted that she “made wrong decisions.” No hedging, no lawyer-speak preamble. Well, at least not at first.

“I was wrong,” Shah, 52, tells the magazine. “I made wrong decisions. I should have done things differently. I should have been more diligent. And I’m deeply remorseful and sorry for my actions and for my part. I take full responsibility.”

That’s a far cry from the woman who once used “The only thing I’m guilty of is being Shah-mazing” as her Housewives tagline. Growth!

Shah pleaded guilty in 2022 to charges related to a telemarketing scheme that targeted elderly and other individuals, resulting in a six-and-a-half-year prison sentence. The scheme predominantly preyed on vulnerable, often elderly, working-class people — with prosecutors noting that Shah and her co-conspirators “built their publicly lavish lifestyles on the false promises of financial independence offered to their victims.”

So what finally made things click? The evidence, apparently.

“It was like a train hit,” she said of the moment prosecutors delivered a trove of evidence to her legal team. “That was the first time I saw all of it — the communications, the interviews, the witnesses.” She added, “I saw for the first time that there were people who were hurt. That there were actual victims as a result of this conspiracy. I had never seen anything with my own eyes. That changed things for me.”

Jen Shah now speaks of her crimes with a clarity that was conspicuously absent during her seasons on Bravo, where she leaned hard into the narrative that she was being railroaded. Reflecting on her decision to speak out, she tells People, “At that point, that’s when I said, ‘You know what, I have to be accountable.'”

She accepts the consequences, too — at least the financial ones. “I’m sorry,” she tells People. “I’m accepting responsibility, and I’ve made it my mission to make sure that people are paid back.” She added: “These people deserve to be made whole.”

Still, the interview has some, but wait, there’s more energy to it. Shah describes her path to the criminal case as “a long and a very complex journey,” adding that she made “horrible business decisions” and disregarded “huge red flags.” She also says she allowed lines to blur between personal friendships and ethical business practices and that she “trusted the wrong people” during a vulnerable period in her life.

She also invokes some deeply personal context. “My husband and I were separated. We were on the verge of a divorce. I was overwhelmed with immense grief from the death of my grandmother, my father and my aunt, all in a very short period of time. I was spiraling deeper into my previously diagnosed clinical depression,” she said, before adding: “And the reason I say all that is not as an excuse.”

As for prison life itself, Shah doesn’t sugarcoat it. “You hear people say it’s ‘Camp Cupcake’ — it’s not. It’s prison. I just thought, ‘This cannot be where I’m going to be every day,'” she says.

One unexpected silver lining from her time behind bars: a genuine friendship with Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes. “Lizzie and I are good friends,” Jen explained. “When you come through as a high profile, there are certain things that you are both dealing with naturally and you come together in those instances.” “There’s a lot of heartache when you’re in prison,” she added. “So just being that sounding board for each other where you can be like, ‘Hey, I just need to walk and cry’ and just having someone there who understood you.”

As for RHOSLC, there’s no word yet on whether Shah will return to the show, though comedian John Oliver said on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert that he expects her back — and that if she doesn’t return, Andy Cohen is “not the super-producer I think he is.”

Shah appeared on the first three seasons of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, with her 2021 arrest serving as a major plot point of season two. Cameras were rolling when federal agents stormed the cast’s Sprinter van looking for her. Now, she’s asking the public for something she probably wouldn’t have entertained a few years ago: grace.

“I understand that people have their opinion and their feelings because they are basing it off of what they saw on the media. They’re basing it off of the headlines. What I would hope is they would give me the grace to at least hear me,” she said.

Whether or not the audience — and more importantly, the victims — are willing to extend that grace is another conversation entirely.

Heated Rivalry‘s Connor Storrie just can’t outrun his famously taut backside. In a new four-minute, 30-second short film for Verizon, directed by his Vanity Fair Oscar party companion Nia DaCosta (28 Years Later: The Bone Temple), Storrie is both hunter and hunted in a clever parody of slasher film trailers. Hollywood has officially entered its most unhinged era, and honestly? We’re here for every frame of it.

Titled “Look Behind You,” the film features the Heated Rivalry star arriving at a secluded cottage in the woods. While cooking dinner and reading a script, the house stereo seemingly switches on by itself, as do some lights and the alarm system. Wandering around the cottage, Storrie looks worried as if he’s thinking something sinister may happen. The horror movie-like soundtrack adds to the eerie feeling.

It’s all expertly calibrated tension — the kind you’d expect from a director who made Candyman genuinely terrifying. Blending self-aware humor with genre tension, “Look Behind You” turns a familiar horror setup into a playful, memorable showcase for Storrie’s comedic timing and DaCosta’s sharp direction.

Then comes the knock at the door. Storrie answers amid a sudden rainstorm to reveal a shadowy figure approaching in a raincoat. “I knocked on the door. I looked in the windows. I almost gave up, man,” the man says. “Are you Connor S.?” If you weren’t already screaming at your screen, you probably are now — but not for the reasons you’d expect.

As it turns out, the mysterious sounds are coming from smart-home activations triggered by Storrie’s accidental butt-dials. The ride-share driver at the door? Also a butt-dial. The whole haunted-cabin experience was, from start to finish, the fault of one very powerful posterior.

As Storrie catches a glimpse of his backside in a mirror, words in big red letters pop up on screen. First, “The Best Butt,” followed by “The Best Network,” before ending with “There’s No Escape.” Storrie then turns to the camera and says, “Service so good, it’s scary.”

Storrie was enthusiastic about how the whole thing came together. “From the concept to execution, this was an incredibly collaborative and creatively fulfilling experience. Verizon is a brand that really understands storytelling and culture, so they fully leaned into the idea. And working with visionary director Nia DaCosta took everything to another level,” Storrie said in a statement.

DaCosta, for her part, seemed just as delighted to step into the commercial space — and with good reason, given what she pulled off. “I had such a great time working with Connor and making this spot for Verizon,” DaCosta said. “The team was amazing and we had so much fun bringing this to life.”

Verizon touts the project as Storrie’s “first brand film” and DaCosta’s “first brand project.” The two first sparked rumors of a collaboration when they were spotted chatting with each other on the red carpet of the Vanity Fair Oscars party. Fans of Heated Rivalry spent weeks trying to decode their connection, and now the mystery is officially solved. The answer was: Verizon. Somehow that’s both deeply disappointing and completely iconic.

Verizon EVP and CMO Leslie Berland called the process “pure magic.” “We set out to bring Verizon’s network to life in a way that’s bold and unexpected, and we’re thrilled with the result. Nia is an absolute artist, and Connor is simply a phenomenon.”

She’s not wrong. The “best butt” compliment won’t come as a surprise to fans of Heated Rivalry, as Storrie’s nude backside figured prominently into the show’s first episode. It became a phenomenon, and both he and co-star Hudson Williams were asked about their workout routines in various interviews, with Williams frequently praising Storrie’s backside as “the fattest butt I’ve ever seen on a man.”

The film cheekily compares Storrie’s “best butt” with the company having “the best network,” although fans might think Storrie wins that contest hands down.

What’s most impressive here isn’t just the physical comedy or the genre-perfect pacing — it’s that a telecom brand somehow convinced one of the most talked-about young actors in Hollywood and a genuinely acclaimed horror director to make something this good together. Up next for the rising star: guesting on the new season of Criminal Minds: Evolution, which premieres in May on Paramount+. His butt’s next project has not yet been announced, but we’re watching.

If you’ve been sleeping on the Taron Egerton and Brooks Nader dating rumors, this weekend delivered a rude awakening. The Rocketman star, 36, and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, 29, were photographed walking arm-in-arm after dinner at Capo Steakhouse before getting drinks at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica on March 28 — and the PDA levels were apparently not subtle.

This was not, apparently, some spontaneous celebrity collision. The pair were first seen kicking off the weekend with a movie date, attending a screening of Project Hail Mary in Los Angeles on Friday. One evening of Ryan Gosling and space survival apparently wasn’t enough, so they followed it up the next night with oceanfront cocktails and dinner. Cute? Absolutely. Coincidental? Definitely not.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ the two have been seeing each other romantically since first meeting in Los Angeles earlier this year and have already been on more than 5 dates together. How they met remains a mystery — which, if anything, just makes this more intriguing.

A source told Page Six what the photos were already screaming: the two seemed “infatuated” with each other at Shutters on the Beach, and that “it wasn’t their first date” — adding, “They have known each other for some time.”

Neither Nader nor Egerton has publicly addressed the romance rumors, but the photos from their Santa Monica evening speak for themselves. Their reps hadn’t responded to requests for comment as of publication.

So how did we get here? Both parties arrive at this rumored romance with some relationship baggage worth unpacking. Egerton previously dated Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. actress Chloe Bennet, but they split last summer. Before that, he was in an on-off relationship with assistant director Emily Thomas for six years.

Nader’s recent romantic résumé is, shall we say, eventful. She dated her Dancing With the Stars partner, Gleb Savchenko, on and off for seven months before they broke up for good last April. The split got messy when Nader’s sister alleged that Savchenko had been unfaithful — a claim he denied with considerable vigor. “I’m not a cheater,” Gleb told E! News. “I’m actually a family guy. I’m a relationship guy. I’m not a f–kboy who goes around and goes on all these dates.” Compelling disclaimer, Gleb.

Before Savchenko, Nader was married to media executive Billy Haire for nearly five years. Their split was confirmed in May 2024, with a representative saying they were “divorcing after living apart for months.”

And then there were the tennis rumors. Speculation swirled that Nader was romancing both 2025 U.S. Open finalists Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner — though she handled that particular interrogation with the kind of practiced evasion that only someone who has sat across from Andy Cohen could pull off. “I would just say a lady never kisses and tells, especially twice,” she said on WWHL. “That’s just not nice.”

Which brings us back to Egerton, a Welsh actor best known for playing Elton John in sequined jumpsuits and somehow making Tetris feel emotionally resonant. He is, by most accounts, a solid trade-up from “my DWTS partner” or “a guy who definitely isn’t on dating apps.”

The pairing has a certain chemistry-by-contrast appeal — the buttoned-up British actor and the perpetually-in-the-headlines Sports Illustrated cover girl. The pairing has caught attention not just for its star power, but for how effortlessly the two seem to have slipped into each other’s orbit.

Whether this becomes something official — or fizzles out before anyone has to update their Wikipedia pages — remains to be seen. But five-plus dates and an arm-in-arm Santa Monica stroll suggest that, at the very least, Taron Egerton has found himself a new leading lady.

While attending the Rome premiere of his new film The Drama alongside Zendaya, Robert Pattinson found himself at the center of a viral moment after answering what seemed like a harmless question about relationship red flags. Spoiler: it was not harmless. Not on the internet. Never on the internet.

At the premiere, a reporter asked Pattinson which zodiac sign he considers to be a red flag in a relationship. “Aries,” he responded while laughing, quickly adding: “I’m joking. I just picked a random one!”

Social media users were quick to point out that Pattinson’s ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, is, in fact, an Aries. And with that, the Twilight fandom — dormant but never truly dead — rose like a very dramatic phoenix.

X users flocked to the comments and wrote, “KRISTEN STEWART SHADE—,” while another added, “100% shading Kristen Stewart.” A third chimed in: “The one time he said straightout truth,” referring to Pattinson’s well-known shtick of selling exaggerated lies as truths in interviews.

In fairness to Pattinson, he’s not the only Aries he’s ever been linked to — he allegedly dated Dylan Penn in late 2013, who is also an Aries. So either the man has a type, or he’s learned some hard lessons from the stars. Literally.

For anyone who needs a refresher on why this hit differently: Pattinson and Stewart dated from 2009 to 2013, and their off-screen relationship became just as talked about as their on-screen romance, making them one of the most closely followed celebrity couples of all time.

Their relationship unraveled publicly in 2012 when Stewart was famously photographed cheating on Pattinson with Rupert Sanders, the then-married director of Snow White and the Huntsman.

Stewart addressed the fallout at the time in a statement, saying: “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”

Years later, she softened the narrative considerably. In a 2021 interview with The New Yorker, Stewart reflected: “Whatever, we were young and stupid, and not to say that we made it so much better, but that’s what it needed — and that’s what anybody playing those parts needed to feel.”

To be clear, both have long since moved on and are thriving. Stewart tied the knot with screenwriter Dylan Meyer in an intimate ceremony in April 2025, while Pattinson welcomed a daughter with Suki Waterhouse in March 2024 — the couple having sparked engagement rumors after Waterhouse was spotted wearing a diamond ring during a London stroll in December 2023.

As for Pattinson’s feelings about keeping his private life, well, private? He’s been consistent. “If you let people in, it devalues what love is. If a stranger on the street asked you about your relationship, you’d think it extremely rude. If you put up a wall, it ends up better,” he once told the Sunday Times.

A wall. Got it. Though apparently not a wall sturdy enough to keep “Aries” from slipping out on a Roman red carpet.
