CE Sabadell will award its loyalest members

The social area of the club wants to award its loyalest members. Before the next match at Nova Creu Alta against Racing de Santander, the President Joan Soteras and Josep Maria Farr�s, a manager of club�s social area, will give an award to members with 50 or more years of seniority.

This 28 members with such a long loyalty to Centre d�Esports Sabadell will recieve a silver badge in the VIP zone of the stadium.

Sabadell returns from Murcia with a draw (1-1)

Centre d'Esports Sabadell got one point in the stadium Nueva Condomina against Real Murcia, reaching the amount of 51 points. The club is almost mathematically saved from relegation, but it isn't done yet. The match in Murcia was against a team that is now in the relegation zone of the table, but Sabadell played with the aim of winning and Collantes scored for the catalans the 0-1 in the minute 29. Then Murcia had the control of the ball during several minutes but without luck on scoring. The second half was similar, but this time 'Ruso' for the local team could beat Nauzet and equalise the match. It was the 1-1, but the score wouldn't move until the end.

Youth teams of the club train at Nova Creu Alta

Some Sabadell youth teams trained yesterday at Nova Creu Alta, the stadium where professional footballers play Liga Adelante games. The boys and girls Under 6, Under 8 and Under 10 trained helped by the players of the first team that support them. This way, the footballers of Liga Adelante could share his experience with his supported youth teams, giving to the boys and girls a good technical formation apart from the illusion of kids for feeling professional on the pitch of the stadium. The teams that trained yesterday were the Under 6 Pablo Ruiz / Lanzarote and H�ctor S. / Eneko, the Under 8 Ram�rez / Gato, Toni Lao / Moha, V�ctor E. / Nauzet and Juanjo / Llorente and the feminine Under 8 Juvenal / Arteaga and Abraham / Tortolero.

A second session of trainings at the stadium is planned for the next 23 of May for the rest of Under 10 teams supported by players of the first team.

Two 'arlequinades' called up for the catalan national U12 team

Two girls who play for Sabadell have been called up for catalan U12 team, Irene Corral & Mar Serracanta. The young footballers will play the spanish championship in the Ciudad del F�tbol de Pradoviejo (La Rioja), where they will face Castile-La Mancha, Melilla, La Rioja and the Canary Islands. If the catalan team reaches the next round, the quarter-finals would be played on Saturday and the semi-finals and the final would be played on Sunday.
This double call up of our players demonstrate that the youth teams of the clubs are working hard to be better everyday. The U18 goalkeeper Manu Mart�n was also called up some months ago.

Sabadell reaches 50 points thanks to a victory against Numancia (2-1)

CE Sabadell reached the amount of 50 points in the league and gets the virtual permanence in Liga Adelante. The arlequinats controlled the match and beat Numancia to gain three more points. The game started with Sabadell playing nice football and having goal-scoring opportunities, and after some minutes, a shot by Moha from outside the box ended inside Biel Ribas� goal. That was the 1-0 in the minute 22, and during the rest of the first half, the game was played at the same level by locals and visitors. In fact, Numancia could have scored right before the half time, but both teams went into the locker room with the 1-0.

The catalans wanted to decide the final score very fast in the second half. In just fifteen minutes, Lanza, and Collantes twice, could have made the second goal of the night. It was in the minute 60 when Collantes scored after a great move by Lanza, who ran with the ball dribbling defenders more than 40 yards. From then until the end, Numancia reacted a little bit, so both teams had more chances. The score didn�t change, but in the last minute of the added time Juanma made the 2-1 for Numancia after a rebound.
