It would be great to do a Database example - however this is not possible without using a Web Service. I could still do this, however an Online Demonstration hosted on the site would not be possible for this example. If this is acceptable then I may consider it. A few more business-style apps would be nice - any suggestions for these would be welcome.

I would love to see a more expanded data binding example - using SQL Server as the datastore for both the application data and the membership api. Somethiing that could be expanded by the student into a true LOB application. I love your site because the examples are VB.Net - my language of choice - most Silverlight and MVC examples are C#. Keep up the great work :)

Thanks,
Jim

You can often get more from a system by focusing on the whole thing and not just a component...upscaling servers makes sense, but upscaling a system is more powerful:

No more tutorials are being added to CESPage.com Visual Basic as it closed in December, however a new website : CESPage.com Silverlight has replaced it at http://www.cespage.com/silverlight - check it out!
All tutorials there are in Visual Basic, they are just Silverlight-based, and many may recognise some of the tutorials there as being based on all the Visual Basic tutorials that could be converted.

Great tutorials.

The drawing tutorial is nice, what about adding the functionality of drawing and resizing shapes? Also, an undo option would be cool.

This is for everyone who wants to know how to make something like messenger or a chat room. You should look for next keywords: winsock(a tool in vb - you can send things with TCP or UDP ), TCP protocol (you should know some thing about that protocol), how to forward port (if you want to make a chat room and you want to host the chat - TCP) and how to merge dlls with (visual basic) exe files (when you use winsock the cmpiler auto-exports some dlls - if you want to have it all in one file you have to merge).
