Snowy Winter Walk

The snow has melted away but here I want to share some snowy landscapes I love at their bests. Puffy and dry. As I am from tropical country who just saw her first snow about 3 years ago, I am yes still amazed with the views of every snowy winter. I've never made any snowman so far, but I love to step on dry snow with ugly boots till my nose waters.The buildings look dreamy when they have snow on top like sugar icing and frozen drops.

Awkward expression when I was actually enjoying my nyummy cupcake heh.

We spontaneously did winter walk in the early morning and my breakfast was a chocolate cupcake on the way.

Considering my self like a dwarf from fairy tale. My husband had walked so far ahead. I decided to stop a while, looked around and it felt surreal. (But then here a ridiculous narcissm striked back, sorry that i have to show you this face)

Color Theme: Creamy Beige

Once upon a time...

We went to Tulln and I saw this creamy bike when I sat on a wooden bench.

In Schönbrunn palace Vienna, I found a creamy guard post left empty.

Then still in Vienna, I met ...I don't know, looked like Zeus? Amazing sculpture that I saw them emotionally alive.

Once I couldn't sleep and nervous so I took a walk trough an alley in the night and spotted creamy grass.

Back in Tulln I love this corner where a creamy building looked like a little piece of a castle.

Many kilometers away we had a road trip and passed trough below a creamy bridge.

That's our color exploration today post, now I want to eat a crunchy creamy Austrian wafer Männer and aspire creamy vintage dress of Audrey Hepburn. Crunch...crunch...wish you have a super inspiring day!

Brand New Year! New Blog Concept, New Toy + A Cafe in Vienna

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! I wish the best for all of you. Carrying new spirit and feeling freshly inspired, after running 2 blogs for a while, (even not long yet), I've finally come to the "that's it" moment when I decide to mix my blogs up! I merge my style blog Naty Ponders to its elder sister photo blog Chachamisu. I'll post about fashion and personal style related in Chachamisu along with my photographs.

I am so sorry for any annoyance or irritating you in a way and thank you so much for being readers of this blog. I am ready and hopefully I can be more creative and productive in my "new" one stop blog. I would be so thankful if you continue to follow me here and my wish of course, that you have a super inspiring time! Welcome at CHACHAMISU!

NEW CHACHACAM AND A CAFE IN VIENNA

I had a series of unfortunate events before it turned to be the lucky one. I have no D-SLR, I have no pocket camera nor handy with cam anymore cause all are insanely broken. I have some vintage cams but hardly to used them. I was thinking about Canon SX 160 IS cause Canon pocket is the only pocket digital cam which has less smearing result, affordable price, AA batteries, and manual mode (according to my personal reserach).

That day we tried in Naschmarkt Saturday fleamarket again (after we found old pocket Nikon for 2 Euro previous time we were there, the LCD was broken but still could take good pics) . Guess what,with luck we found Canon PowerShot A 530 IS and A 720 IS! Got them for about 20 Euro. Instead of D-SLR or analog we are now down grade to old pocket cams! Hahaha. Cheapy but fun!

It was so cold we took a break at Cafe Savoy across the road. Took long waiting for the nice spot to seat, it was full! The interior was vintage and wonderful.

Above and below are our first pic with Canon PowerShot A 530 IS ( We found the other cam after break ). Oh, of course, had fun with Photoshop.

I finally got a pair of these vintage style sunnies thanks to Global Online Optical Store Firmoo. They have cool program:

There are so various styles there, I had enjoyed my time looking around even after I have discovered the one! Of course you can use precription. Since i didn't have precription, I only needed to measure distance between my 2 pupils.

I collect sunglasses and I've had the round one in my wish list since quite a while. First i was inspired by Count Vlad in Bram Stoker's Dracula movie instead of John Lennon or Harry Potter. Then I just found out that Count Dracula had different type of glasses :). So I made a little experiment to pair them with different hats. It was totally fun!

The best part was that it had made me smile again. I had broken my D-SLR old camera and then not long ago my handy was dead and just when I needed most, I dropped my pocket camera...game overrr! I was about to take picture of this Firmoo sunnies outside when unfortunate event happened and it was anyway bad weather for couple of days. So I finally could organize borrowing camera in a little corner with vintage chair in a pretty ruin place, but I don't want to ruin this cam nor my good time with new sunnies!

However the sunnies come together with hard case, soft shell pocket case, cleaner cloth, some screw spares and even a mini screw driver which also a key chain so they put my anxiety of my own carelessness a little at ease.

These sunnies do work under the sun, they had made views around more lovely with their brown UV400 lenses. So perhaps one day I show you wearing them outdoor cause pretty sure I'll be wearing them again and again. They work well dealing with indoor light too anyway :)

First I received the sunnies, they seated to high and jump down to one side. Well, I guessed this was only my personal face matter cause i have a low nose and unsymmetrical ears and eyes, but my husband found out that there were also different lengths or curve shapes of two nose seat parts. Got sei dank, my husband can fix them! He bent a little bit the metal carefully. The nose bridge still too far to my nose but I feel comfortable wearing this sunnies :).

Oh, have you thought about Christmas? It would be an idea .... Unfortunately I don't have Santa Klaus' hat to pair the glasses with. How about glasses for Christmas gift ?. The package took about 11 days to arrive in Austria after I ordered.

Snowy Autumn

Hallooo everyone! How are you?

I have been back from Germany and an inspiring road trip around to some other towns.

It was kind of weird this year cause the snow fell down pretty much earlier in the middle of October. Last year it came late December as far as I remember. However it had been snowing only for about three days.The autumn leaves colors are still super beautiful. That's why autumn is my favorite season. Some of the leaves are still green or they are evergreen and mixed with white snow. I love the fresh smell, especially where there's no crowded traffic. Hmmmh....

Molen is rolled fried cake filled with a slice of banana or pineapple. I got it in a corner where you can buy green/blac bean porridge, instant noodles, rice with egg, vegetables, etc, tea, coffee, and another drinks. One Molen costs 200 IDR. (Jogja, Indonesia)

Mozaic : Vienna Chandeliers

Hi, everyone. First, I want to say thank you so much for your support and responses to my last post, due to my depressive-like condition. They have helped me to survive more than you might think. That I still could express in photos and share them to you is also a surviving tool otherwise I just did nothing! Having such blues was really sucks. I wish nobody would ever feel like I did :(.

So......now! Back to the earth!

I played with my old photos lately to make mosaics out of them. It would be my new category in this blog. It is such fun to do and I am often surprised with the results. I made mosaics for print offers but I canceled my purchase. This photos below are from my old photo of beautiful chandeliers street light above shopping centre streets in Vienna. It turned out to be like statement jewelries. Which one do you like most? I hope they can inspire you.

Self Portrait : Mental Breakdown

Sounds not inspiring?

MENTAL BREAKDOWN

WARNING:

I don't mean to be self pity nor expose negativity in my blog.

I apologize if you find my post is gross.

If you feel like me below which start overtaking your life you may want to get professional help.

I don't try to be funny or offensive to anyone.

This post is not safe for children.

WHEN I AM IN MENTAL BREAKDOWN

I am blues.

I am cold.
I am passive and dysfunctional, could be said.

Or worse: emotional numbness.

I don't have feeling to the lovely happenings in the world of joy.

Socially awkward.

Droopy eyes starring empty.

Overtaken by dark clouds but I can't help it.

Plus hormone can be mean too.

I tried to smile.
I captured when I pretend to smile and finally could honestly cry. But I failed to cry longer. Back to emotional numbness.

I didn't dress up, I didn't wash my hair. You can see my styringomas around my eyes.

As a little bit better I tried so hard to save my interests by accessing what easy to me:

browsing fashion images,
watching some episodes of Vampire Diaries, Two and a Half Men and Desperate Housewives in one go (without emotionally involved),
craving the cheapest chocolate bars I could get,
eating a pack of peanuts then letting the junks on the floor,
and entering some easy steps giveaways (quite an effort for me who claimed to be dysfunctional).

Because of the stress and bad position in front of screen (probably) or could be poisoned by three too hot Indian chillies mixed with overdose of chocolate (perhaps), I threw up like forever that night.

Two last photos are my blues in 2005! I threw my books and magazine out from storage. But then I spent my time reorganizing them and felt a bit better.

I have been dealing with psychological issues since many years ago. Unfortunately there were no such thing and enough knowledge about. There were probably only either I am weak, weird or a bad person, and heard that everybody has problem. It didn't help at all! A professional was not pretty affordable either. I had series of unfortunate events, a collective of confusing manipulating situations, failed to solve problems, rebellious desicions followed by extreme changes in life. Let say, it's life?

One day I watch an episode of Oprah Show about depression and co. and it was the day this word exist in my mind for the first time!

I just wish to that whoever feel the same: walk on, no drugs, alcohol, no self harming.

........

Scrammelklang Festival Litschau - 2 - 5/8erl in Ehr’n

Hi!

Here are the photos of the last performer (minus jam session) in Schrammelklang Festival, Herrensee, Litschau I attended few weeks ago.

The band is called 5/8erl in Ehr’n (it's difficult for my Javanese tounge to pronounce this name) with members Max Gaier (singer), Bobby Slivovsky (singer), Miki Liebermann (guitarist), Clemens Wenger (accordion) und Hanibal Scheutz (contrabass) . "Gut genug für die City" is their newest album and recently they received The Amadeus Music Award 2012 in Jazz/World/Blues. Visit their site here.

I just knew about 5/8erl in Ehr’n in this festival! Not only interesting music ( it is said to be traditional Viennese folk music or is called Schrammel music in a modern interpretation, read more about here) and great voice, they also had whimsical and theatrical performance. They smoked a lot on the stage that made the atmosphere dramatic with the smokes around their vintage look. They ended the concert with very calm song, walking lazily out the stage with 1 watt sleepy eyes and yawning along. It's just the show, not really sleepy and left all the equipments there :).

I can't explain more, I just enjoyed and yea, took more pictures of them than the previous bands as I had found better camera setting. Take a look.

I don't want to talk so much right now, (have I talked so much?) back to the low point of my psychological statistic graphics. So I will leave you now while browsing another tons of inspirations.

Schrammelklang Festival 2012 Opening, Herrensee, Litschau - 1

We attended Schrammelklang Festival 2012 Opening at Herrensee Lake, Litschau. Well...few weeks ago. I want to share some photos of this event now. It was Friday and let me say I had no good mood because I didn't feel like staying overnight in the tent. It was hormone thing. But then, we got this idea of why not just sleep in the car. I said to Mr Murmel, "Why didn't you tell me?". I joined in.

I guessed I had the right feeling for the upcoming weather because before the music concert started, there was hail! Raining hard, pretty big ice balls hit the earth. It sounded scary, I mean imagined if they hit our head. It was the first big hail I had ever experienced in Europe. I had no time to enjoy the view of the lake and play trampoline (yes, I am 31 years old kid, I like jump on trampoline, it's sport). :(

The hail didn't take so long, the music concert started right away after the rain stopped. Unfortunately, I couldn't take sharp photos in the night, and along the two group playing I had not found a good setting with my pocket camera. But as you may notice, I added texture effect on the photos to make blur photos more pleasantly artistic. What do you think?

It was started with NEUN: Otto Lechner, Hans Tschiritsch, Franz Haselsteiner. They have their very own music instruments made from various things like sewing machine with a horn and string, etc. Sorry, I couldn't explain better. They were so interesting. One of the musician is blind but played the music and sang very well. For me their music sounded experimental, ethnic and spiritual, like the one I heard from Nepal or any Asian documentary film. I am not expert here, it's my personal thought.

The second group was Insingizi, Rudi Koschelu, Thomas Hojsa: Afrika meets Wienerlied. Austria met Afrika! My photos of them are craps. Only this one is good. I couldn't capture the two other musicians/singers. Here you only can see the 3 singers from Senegal. They sang German and Afrikan songs. They were awesome. Great voice with cool dance.

And here is the bad weather!

The trampoline I couldn't jump on. Looks more like alien spaceship mysteriously landed in the woods.

I found bad weather scene is beautiful. Instead of frightening when I am in the middle of it (like when I had lightening so close to my toes!), i saw it soulful and dreamy. How about you?

Aah, okay, today I am different because I talked a lot. Perhaps it's my bipolar symptom. So I will leave you now, I will calm my crowded mind down (today I woke up late and right away wrote a bunch of ideas before I forgot) with browsing tons of fashion images.:)

Hi. Do you like butter milk and banana smoothie colors? I have another pastel yellow inspirations for you from architecture, old timer car etc. This colors come beautifully together with purple, pink, yellow and white. They could be sweet, yummy, elegant, romantic, classic, even masculine. Take a look!

Sankt Pölten, Austria. An abandoned beautiful wooden house. Kind of used to be glass works or wood works or craft..See more photos here on my style blog. I don't know what was going on. Maybe it was just a one day off for the big renovation. I wish I could move the front part to our house ( when we have a house in the future, I wish! ) We still could see some left over material around (plus some bugs). I don't know why ruin building is a great place for photo shoot.

Multi-color - Naschmarkt Vienna

What would I see in a pile of many many things? Colors! And when I couldn't see only one...then I saw the world around me so wonderfully multicolored.

Color theme: Pastel Green and Mint

I have new category/labels on my blog that is called Color Theme. In this category you will see photographs I group by same color. I have made previously some posts which were relevant to this. However now is the first time I launch it officially.

I have seen recently the color pastel green or mint everywhere in this colorful world. Such a big trend. Here are some my photographs with pastel green or mint I have collected from random places especially for you, for your inspiration and perhaps refreshing your tired starring at screen eyes at the same time.

Personally i like this color, it has a shooting effect in this hot summer. How about you?

Sankt Pölten, Austria. City bike, such a pretty way to cycle the pedal.

Somewhere around our town. Ford old timer. It has been claimed as former my mother and law's car years ago and the color has never been changed till present.

Sankt Pölten. Those two guys didn't know each other. Both wore green stripes cloth. Cute coincidence happened. Lucky I was there in the right time to catch.

Gasoline retail in Jogja, Indonesia. Notice the one color shade the door and windows at the back.

Geometric wall paint in Sankt Pölten. This is my old photo I blogged at my old blog Picontagious but with different digital photo effect.

I love the bottom part but certainly not the hole at the top part. I imagined this wall color with all white decor items. Would be awesome. I forgot where it was taken, somehere in South East Asia.

We had a little picnic style dinner at our friend's backyard. There were tea, coffee, wine and kind of homemade fruit juice preserved.

Well, I haven't finished with Singapore Science Centre. There I was inspired by the preserved animals whether they are real or not.

They were amazing, especially the shark. Kind of reminding me of movie Back to The Future where there was Shark 3D hologram animation jumped out from a billboard. The collection of butterflies brought me back to one set of the alike piece I found in a thrift store. And all these things had flown my imagination to old time biologist and scientist books, movies like Indiana Jones and Sherlock Holmes , Shabby Chic and country houses, hunter memorabilia,..

And also Jurassic Park...:)

Hotel Retro

Jogja, Indonesia. The hotel where we stayed in had public living room in front of our bedroom with the old retro furnitures. As I saw the nostalgic retro charm on them, i gave mercy for the dirty and broken parts.

Happy belated Easter! How you celebrate easter? I didn't celebrate easter but quite happy that so much creativity had been showing up everywhere, like craft, chocolate, cute eggs, and easter theme photos. I don't have easter theme pics to show you but i still have something to share from my journey.

We did a Singapore Nite Walk, just walked and walked around our backpacker hostel.

No special destination plan.

We had purchased MRT cards as well.

Incase we were in the mood to go more far.

That night had so much light, lines and squares.....

What is your biggest pet peeve? Personal hygiene ignorance ( I have trauma with skin infection on my face )
What's your favorite line from a book? I don't really remember how is the sentence but there was this line that described how Heidi and Peter ( in Heidi story ) brought bread, butter and milk in the picnic basket on the mountain, and burried the milkbottle in the ground so it would get fresh cold. It has been staying in my imagination.
Are you a day person or night person? Night person because too much working overtime since doing school homeworks. Doesn't mean i'm okay with that.

What is your opinion about online dating? Online Dating is a very dangerous thing! A lot of fake person, fraud, abuse, and scam. But it doesn't mean there is no real people, I heard pretty a lot of both successfull stories, some of them are my friends and fraud victims as well. The Start of The Trip

Hello, how are you? Finally i have chance to post. I have been being sick for weeks. A terrible flu followed by terrible cough and dizzy. I have been isolating my self from the tempting world out there. This is how i got this precious time to post. I did some visit to blogsphere sometimes but I couldn't respond or be active as often as before I went. ( I still owe a tagged post from a fellow blogger, sorry)

Okay, let me bring you a couple of time zone backwards, when this was all started. I had been in 4 train stations, 3airport, 3 train, 3 aeroplanes, 2 buses, 1 bajaj (scooter with 3 wheel in Jakarta), and one taxi to get to Yogyakarta from Austria. We are that kind of travel style. From cold weather Europe to hot and humid climate South east Asia. I didn't take a lot of photos in the first time, as we only tried our best to be on time:). Let's take a look...

Looking out from the bus window, on the way to Vienna Airport. I enjoyed this part. The bus run slowly especially when it was climbing up. For some moments I felt like tourist in round city trip. Inside was so warm and cozy. I could fall asleep instead of snap pictures. We were on time anyway. I still could sip a cup of hot choc in airport.
