It’s kinda cute actually, people can post you all these questions, and all you have to do is press “respond” and answer them! I know alot of gurus don’t use them because its so much like twitter – I mean, people can ask you questions on twitter anyway.. but I think it’s a more direct way of inviting others to ask questions of their choice!

I’m currently looking into purchasing an HD camcorder to start recording youtube tutorials, I realised that one of the main freaking reasons I’m so lazy when it comes to my youtube is because I can’t see what I’m doing when I’m looking at the camera!!!! I don’t have a freaking screen looking back at me to show me what I’m shooting!!

Those who follow my twitter will know that I’m back I apologise for my absence and really do appreciate all those who sent me twitter messages, replies, commented on my blog, or emailed me directly. You guys are the sweetest!

So, the other day, I had a crazy urge to eat dried mangoes – like seriously, I had a whole dream about eating a tonne of them, and then still craved them the next day. I went online to look up where they actually do do bulk purchases and they had heaps of online stores which produced dried mangoes! There were even recipes on how to make dried mangoes such as:

Though I wouldn’t bother trying to make them – just buy it! They’re too yummy to have to wait to process!!

This is the mini-loot I was craving! The middle packet is already eaten. haha!! I ate it in the car when mr.CG was driving home because I couldn’t stand my craving anymore!

Dried mangoes are just so popular to the Filipinos that they’ve totally mastered at producing them!!! I’m lovin’ them so much!!!!!!

I always only purchase dried mangoes manufactured in Philippines – because they are famous for their fabulous dried fruits!! All three of the dried mangoes I purchased were from Philippines, and because I’m always on the look-out for the best one, I finally found it!!!!!!!

(excuse my plain nails, I haven’t had time to deal with them lately )

Okay, this is the one I normally buy – because it is sold in most asian stores and I thought it was the best one out of all the Philippine made dried mangoes – however, when I walked into corner asian store the other day, I found this:

The brand is Young’s!!!!!!!

And honestly, if you guys see this any where, any where at all, you have to pick it up and try it!!!!!!!!!!! It’s freaking amazing yummy!!

Normally, the thing I look for in dried mangoes is its realistic taste. Most dried mangoes which are sold in those “Made in China” packages taste like they are just made out of plastic – they don’t even have a mango taste at all! The difference between this fabulous packet of dried mangoes is that it actually does contain a mango taste – a very strong taste! It’s not just artifical sugar and plastic!!! It actually has a mango scent to it, and its chewy – its stringy! You know, like when you take a bite, and you see strings of the mango comin’ out of it??? That’s when you know that it’s real!!!

I found the Darkness lashes I hadn’t purchased in a while and decided to try them again. I haven’t worn these lashes for over 1.5 years!!! I’ve been buying Model21 and Princess Lashes so much that I’ve totally abandoned my once-love.. so they’re up for trial again!

I also purchased one that wasn’t Darkness, but looked very similar! It was $1 cheaper too! ^_^” Darkness eyelashes were $5.50 per pair and the misc. brand was $4.90 per pair.

Ah, I love false lashes. It’s one thing I won’t live without.

For the entire movie, I sit there trying to figure out what the whole movie is all about – and then when I think I’ve gotten it all figured it, the movie twists again, and I’m there wondering what’s real and what’s not? Unfortunately for those who haven’t watched it, this is going to be a spoiler. So do not continue reading if you don’t want to know.

Is there really a “right” ending to this movie? Honestly?

Do you really think it was possible to manipulate someone’s brain to make them think that what had happened in past had not happened?? It really gets you thinking..
So was Federal Marshalls Teddy Daniels really mental? Had he really “killed” his wife and had his wife, Dolores, really killed his kids? Was he seriously ill because of that and had he been “hiding from the truth” all this time?

Or had they really tricked him onto the island to make him believe that so that he would stop investigating the island?

Who was the doctor who had been hiding in the cave really? Was it the real Rachel Saldano or was she apart of the “act” too? Was she actually ill too? Or was she speaking the truth – in saying that the doctors on the island would try to make him feel like he was ill.

Was this movie a “create your own ending”? or, did it really have a proper ending?

I think

Teddy Daniels was Leonardo DiCapro’s characters “real name”.
The drugs (aspirin) that he had taken from Dr.Cawley for his migraine, had affected his mentality.
Ted had not killed his wife, nor children for the sake of it.
He played along in order to survive but in the end, he was weakening due to the drugs.
“Chuck” had set him up and was not his real partner.
By the end of the movie, Teddy was still “normal” – hence why he said “Would you rather die as a good man, or live as a bad one?” (or something along those lines) and that’s why he had actually chosen to still call his “partner” Chuck to let them know that he’d rather die than believe what they were trying to make him believe.
He had no way out of the island and was not prepared to be tested on for brain washes.

So now, what about the Code of Four – the note that was found in Rachel’s room? Was that a real note? Considering the Racheal in the cave claimed that she was previously a doctor at the island, why would she have been kept in prison if that had been a real note?

Was there really a number 67?

Here is the everyday foundation (face make) application video requested by sooo soooo many..

My face colouration isn’t perfect, I use photoshop normally on my pictures too!!!! I started off with a freshly cleansed and toned face base. For those who do not use BB cream, you can replace my routine with your regular foundation – however, for everyday wear, I sometimes find foundation to be too heavy. I always swap between BB cream and foundations depending on where I’m going.

If I’m going to work, I would use BB cream because I essentially just sit in the office and work by my computer (I don’t see clients) or anyone else. For night outings, I would use a foundation rather than BB cream for a stronger staying power and heavier coverage.

I’ll try to make a foundation post or video on all the foundations I own. But for now, enjoy ^__^”"

It doesn’t really bother me, to be honest, how I always change my hair. I wish I could stick to one, but its almost near impossible. I still haven’t found my perfect hair yet. But that’s okay, that’s what life is about, right? Finding the perfect of everything, or seeing an imperfection perfect. I’m going to keep changing my hair, until I see it as perfect.

Well, last week was one awful week. Other than the fact that I had the whole week to myself – in which I slept at least 15 hours of the each day due to being sick – it was one hell of a long week. For the whole week, I was suffering from hunger cause I could eat nothing but plain congee with a hint of salt, and drink water. By the third day, I was sick of it and sneaked in a chicken parmigiana from dad’s restaurant. It was an incredibly bad mistake… did I mention incredibly bad????

My stomach was gurgling for the next two days and I was running to the toilet every 15 minutes to do a number 2, which came out like a number 1!! I’m not going to bother explaining that because if you don’t get it, you shouldn’t or wouldn’t want to.

Nonetheless, I’m by far, a million times better now, thanks to everyone who sent me get-well messages, I got them all and really do appreciate each and everyone of them!

Getting off the topic here, the reason why I had mentioned hair and being sick, is because ofcourse the two things link!

Sick = spending alot of time at home reading blogs and sleeping = getting new inspirations = changing my hair

As I was lying in my bed, I started touching my knotty hair, and thought, nope, I’m going to take out my hair extensions and finally, after so many effing years, let my hair grow. Let it GROW!!!!!

Okay, haha! You get the point.

So from when I cut my bob, which is about September of 2009? Somewhere around there… when I was still a blonde blonde, a little immature and.. haha, pictures say all.

I’m coming back to rock that hair style – in a brunette.

I purchased a frangipani clip from Gloss not too long ago, and before I got home, I already heard the snap of the plastic breaking. Wtf? I hadn’t even worn it yet! I was just taking it out to sneak a peek at what I had bought before I reached home!!! It cost me like $4.95 too!!!!

Well, I wasn’t going to waste it. So I hot-glue-guned it onto a hair clip so I could wear it for the summer. Using half of the amount of flowers on the other clip, I made myself a cute alternative!

I also know that Ricebunny has also her own mini review on her ice ones. So I finally set my thoughts down on the site recommended by Ricebunny – www.WrLens.com and purchased a pair of these Solotica Hidrocor in Marine Green.

Like the Geo lenses I usually receive, the Solotica packaging is the same. I receive them in two little glass (?) jars with a twist-able opening. I even received a free pair of contact lenses case with the letter “D” on it. I’m assuming its the “R” for Right we normally get?

When you look into it, it honestly does not look like the pair of lenses exist at all. It is soooooo see-through!! Ah, exciting, exciting!

Here I’ve just quickly popped them in without adjusting my make up for the look. That’s a pic of the lenses in room-lighting. You can tell my eyes are visibly lighter and “green”, but the effect isn’t like WOAH.

Then I try to take the picture with the light actually facing my eyes – ie. me looking up – and you can seriously see the true colour of the lenses here though it looks so so natural!!!! The brown in my eyes does not show at all!!!

This is a picture with flash!!!!!!! How great does it look???? I don’t look the greatest here – but we can still compliment the lenses, can’t we?

What do I think?

I would definitely recommend anyone who wants noticabley- different eye colours to try these lenses. Its suitable for us, Asian girls, who want to look a little more different and a little more “Caucasian” because these lenses have the ability to lighten up your eye colour like no other lenses can!!

The best thing about these lenses is that alike circle lenses, they last one whole year. So you actually do save a lot from buying these rather than your usual optometrist ones. If you prefer clear ones, Solotica also do clear lenses – I purcahsed a pair for mr.CG who doesn’t like to be too fancy

The cost of the lenses turns out to be way cheaper when you purchase more than one pair of lenses simply because shipping is sooo high!!! To Australia, shipping was a hefty $50 or so Australian dollars!!! The cost of each lenses (my marine green ones) is about $40AU and you have to order two to get a pair! The clear ones was a bit cheaper, about $32AU per lens, so we ended up paying $US172, which is probably a little under $200 for the two pair of lenses including shipping!! I think I purchased the lenses at a good exchange rate too, so it could of been just $190AU!!

Well, nonetheless, I would still highly recommend the lenses, especially if you are a regular/everyday user of contact lenses! You could definitely save your money and try out new styles without the cost as well.
