and it's been a week since my birthday

Should I feeling happy for getting old?

I celebrated my birthday by focusing

Hollaa.. I'm back!! Actually big events for this year made me crazy, prepare things, meet people, getting to know more about some people are my daily routine lately Well but I'm happy
I've got infected by my Mom'm habit She loves to dress up in batik or any traditional outfit so here I am addicted by batik or "kebaya" specially "kebaya encim" It seems every person near me getting married this year and I'm getting crazy to get a new kebaya to attend their wedding God bless kebaya seller!
I've got this super big size dress from last hunting in INAcraft It only came in one size, since me and my Mom in a same size so I decide to buy this one because I'm in love with the summer look colors
I wore this outfit to attend my office mate's weeding reception Everyone a little bit shocked to see me a little bit dress up and with full make-up (my everyday office look definitely without make-up and a little bit look pale,hehe) Happy Wedding my dear friend!!

What I Wore that day: Batik dress (forgot the brand)//handmade floral piece//random accessories floral bag by new look//handmade clear heels by a friend

Getting confuse at the first place between two clutches

My favorite shoot on that day :) Can't you believe that all picture was taken by a smartphone? That's why I never regret making an investment in such a phone Really help me to learn how to take a nice picture with a great composition, angle and colors

aloha.. I just want to share about my favorite craft event Yes, it's INAcraft :)
Spending my day strolling around on that event with Mom and have a pleasant chat with some friends in the afternoon The best day ever on this early May

Found this two booths that really attracted First one is a booth that sell so many jackets with traditional fabric They also sell a jacket with ulos material,but it's too heavy I love this one, but it's a little bit over pricey,hehe
Second booth is full of wall decorations from vintage picture to cartoons all made from wood mixed with canvas materials and sell in quite affordable price I keep their business card I hope one day if I have my own house I will consider to buy a few things from them :)

Never go home without taking an outfit post on this booth :) Change my shoes and bag to be more comfortable and ready to shop

I was eat like crazy on weekends

Indonesian food always be my favorite

This time on afternoon "coming soon" to be a family meeting

I choose this "Nasi Ayam Betutu" from Bali as my late lunch

and never forget to order fried tofu and fermented soybean as a complement

the last but not least "Teh Susu Jahe"

(it's a tea mixed with milk and some extract from red ginger)

*the name of the place that served this yummy dishes is Kemiri

After a little talk,

I moved to another place called Mangia

(it's two weeks in a row I was go there with the same people)

This time I ordered a strawberry milkshake and a banana waffle with a choco ice cream on top

It was a nice choice to enjoy the afternoon outside

when the wind not too cold

it felt warm because I was in the middle of very nice friends

Happy Ascension Day!

I know this kindda late but what can i say,

my internet connection was very poor last night

How’s your holiday?

I know it’s only for a day, but hey you can get one day off and have a long weekends just like me,hehe

Mostly people on my town go abroad or visiting domestic destination but here I’am

posting my yesterday outfit post and strolling around this city to get more experience about life.

Jakarta is too crowded but i know deep down in our heart as a citizen we enjoy every single things about this city, don’t you?

Since today the weather is very nice, why don’t we go outside and have a city trip?

Oh but don’t forget to do exercise at least 30 minutes a day

From my experience, yesterday when i went to swimming pool with a friend

I find that I can breathe longer than usual in the water.

I think it’s because I do exercise regularly so try it and you will find your metabolism better day by day :)

I really envy with my Mom lately, in her late age she can keep her shape

(even she always yelling at me when i gain some weight), sharing her problems at the office, sometimes it sounds stress full, but she knows how to having fun (she just like one of my friend that loves going to the mall) and yesterday she was going to Bali! Almost every year she’s go there. How can be a person arrange all of this in her age?

Balancing spiritual, office problems and happiness at the same time?

Hmm...need to learn more from her.

Anyway I went to Church last day with this very not me typical outfit.

Honestly, I don’t really like wearing blazer, it makes me look old

beside i think blazer only look good for bankers,hehe

Since I was wearing this blazer on my last day of work this week so i think

it’s a nice try to wear it for church service,

and Mom make a comment “Why you look so serious?”

So I end up changing my look by remove the blazer, put a scarf on my shoulder,

get a bigger bag and put a pair of flats on my feet and I’m ready to have a lunch date with Mom :)

aloha!

since i have another blog it seems hard to find a perfect time to write about something

full time worker on weekdays and full time happy-go-lucky life on weekends made my live alive

Aloha.. Finally another post in a super hectic week.. This will be my super quick post since I'm too tired to make a long post
Someone told me that my skill for editing a picture is better than before I don't know if that compliment was sincere or fake *I don't care,hehe
So this time I will share a simple photo editing tips using your smartphone I promise I will share my favorite apps, some of them are free :)
Last year I joined basic class photography and I remember My teacher told me that photography is not only about skill "practice makes perfect" is the key
I found some of people who love photography challenge their self everyday to have a better sensitivity You don't need Canon Mark-II to have a great pictures (except you can do all of the function of the camera)
Photo is about capture the memory It doesn't need to be WOW because it's about your personal things something that you want to keep or memorizing
This time I'm using a very simple tool I share the original picture at the end of this post
For the result, I add a frame a frame that make it look like a polaroid

Before adding a frame I put a few letters

"L.O.V.E"

why? Because it looks match with the shape of this tool

For typo effect, I'm using Typic or Overgram

If you like to get better, just purchase Typic Pro and Over

(they'll give you more fonts option and wide color range)

Add some hearts or bullets "bokeh" effect

This one is probably my favorite effect in photography

It's a little bit hard make this effect using SLR camera

but with your smartphone, it's easy to get this effect just with one touch

Try using a thousand of filter to make a cute pictures

my favorites are Picfx, Camera+ and vsco cam

Try as much as you can to get the best filter effect

I prefer the picture to look more warm

But if you like to make it look more cool than

it's okay to make it like the picture below

So the first picture is supposed to be like this

This is a traditional tool to smash your bed

the function is for reduce the dust

go challenge your self to have more sensitivity

you will be amazed by the result :)

All of the apps can be downloaded

both from apple store and android market (or google play)

(I already googled it for android user but still not sure about it)

Good Friday was the perfect time to stay with a big family

It happened about ten days ago when people dress all in black

We were singing, dancing and laughing all day long

Yesterday I've got this two beautiful package

One of them probably my last overseas online purchase

since another happy moment will coming either this year or maybe next year

and it makes me must save more

Uh, poor me but I'm happy when I see people around me happy because it will affect me

The other package is my surprise for a friend

Really I just wanna to take a pic and share it what's inside the brown box

but i must wait until the special day is coming,hehe.

Finally

At the end of the day, I've got a nice chair and a set of table for my sewing machine

Oh please this is too much for a week

Not to mention a quick meeting with a friend whose back from her vacation from Bali

Uh now I miss a beach..

since She can push me to change my clothes when she doesn't like it

I don't know why

maybe because my Mom is a working Mom so she can't stand for a person

Morning... It's already a new month!! Super excited about this brand new day After The Easter I made a promise to keeping this blog and make a post regularly, Join a few society, learning a new music instrument and still have a super duper happy life Wish me luck!

Last Saturday I made my own brunch meals

So I wanna share some tips and recipe for this super easy meals

Get ready..

First..

As always this is my favorite drink all the time

Yes, it's red ginger!

Just cut a red ginger into a small pieces and boil it about 10 minutes

This time I add 2 spoons of organic honey

and a couple drops of lemon juice

also add a couple of ice and put it in a cute bootle + add a cute straw (mine from gudily)

Since I had a tons of things to do on that day

I put 2 scoops of rice (serve it with an ice cream scoop to make it look cute)

add a small amount of mayonnaise and chili sauce

I'm not an expert to make a salad

so I made my version of veggie salad

*Slice a cabbage longways (it's up to you)

**add a black pepper

***marinated with one table spoon of organic honey and one table spoon of olive oil

****if the taste not light enough for you just add a pinch of sea salt

It's time for chicken claw!

I know not so many people like this dish

I also only like it when it be cooked as dim sum or be fried (like in this picture)

How to do?

*Buy a marinated flour, mixed with a few table spoons of water

**marinated your chicken claw on it

***drop those marinated chicken claw into a box that full of flour (you can use the same marinated flour or use bread flour for more crispy effect)

****Fry it in the deep and super hot coconut oil

Me, my Mom and my lil Brother are a big fan of Enoki Mushroom

We adore this Enoki Crispy more than anything,lol

I was trying to make one and hoping it taste like from our favorite restaurant

Well my lil Brother said that the taste is pretty close with our favorite,yay!

How to make it?

it's similar like the chicken claw

my tip: when you want to fry it put it one by one on your pan,

and make sure the oil is super hot for crispy look

Last but not least:

Put all those dishes in a super cute plate

add some garnish :)

*Excuse me for a poor quality of picture

I took it with my smartphone but sometimes my hands was shaking when took all of this pictures

also sometimes I forgot to make a focus,lol

ps: maybe this kind of recipe things will be my regular post beside fashion things

March is really a fascinating month

Many great things happen in this month

Even it's not always a good things

Lots of work, lots of meet up and running lots of cash!lol

It's because so many friends have their birthday and wedding day in this month

So I blame them, whose make me stay last saturday in the early morning

preparing my own breakfast, the easiest and a very simple menu

I've ever made

I want to make a step by step photos about how to make it

but since my kitchen was messy so I give the recipe by typo :)

Ingredients:

Big Baguette//3-6 pieces of bacon or ham (in this recipe I used honey ham)//3 slice of fresh tomato//

3 slice of onion ring (fry it for a couple minutes with olive oil)//tons of parmigiano cheese//

2 tsp light butter (on diet? use unsalted butter)//a pinch of black pepper//1 tbs of olive oil//

1 tbs of organic honey

How to make it?

*Divide your big baguette into 6 slices (it's up to you)

*Fried your bacon and onion ring with a little of olive oil

*Fried your baguette (smear it with a butter)

*Arrange those ingredients with your creativity

*Put one slice of baguette into a plate, add a slice of onion ring, bacon, and sprinkle it with a ton of parmigiano cheese, cover up with another slice of baguette

*STack it in your pretty dish, sprinkle it with a pinch of black pepper, 1 tbs of olive oil and 1 tbs of organic honey

*Sit down on your backyard and enjoy! ^^

In this picture you'll see the sexy baguette along with

a couple of macadamia mix pecan cookies and choco cookies (made by famous amos)

and a cup of red ginger drink

For the red ginger drink:

*You need a cople of red ginger, clean and smash it

*Boil 2-3 glasses of water

*add red ginger and cook for 5-10 minutes

*add brown sugar and cook again 5-10 minutes until the color getting brown

*Now it's ready to be served

*Enjoy it while still hot!

Talking with a few person this day

and found the same opinion like a long time ago

People think I always happy day by day

They never think

That every person has their own problems

It's up to us

Prefer to share it with this meals, sip my tea, and relax

After such a few coffee and tea time with some of my friends even I see some expert in their field to get answer for my problems finally I came back to my sense I believe being mad is not the best way to resolve our problems

This time I take a look my old dress and find this The white dress that I bought without any plan, just came to the store and take it to the cashier feeling guilty not to buy the black color at that moment still looking for the black one but they're running so fast
So with this simple cutting dress I escort my Mom to her friend's child wedding reception
Never feeling so whitty before, so I add a purple headpiece to pop-up my outfit What do you think?

ensemble outfit for the day
It's already February, the month that full of love, don't you think?hehe January a little bit cruel for me, since a lot of work to do and upcoming project was killing me Now it turns to be more slowly, so I decide to share some idea in this post
This year is full of reunion and back to back issue in my life I feel bless to meet such an old friends calling back our memories when we were in school I would say private school is the best rather than public school
I realized we already grown up, but some things are still the same I can feel it and I hope that our friendship will remain forever
While sharing your love with friends or your lover for this lovely february It will be nice if we can share our long-lasting love to our parents I have a unique relationship with my Mom My Mom is a working Mom and I fell blessed to have her Since I can share almost anything such as working problem (we currently in the same field called economic)
She much older than me but nobody's perfect all we need when we have a problem is taking care all thoughts of side which side is possible and the positive one I'm very practical when making a comment about her problems,hehe
But we never get along in shopping, we have a huge different taste Sometimes she things my choose of stuffs is out of the box but when i put it all in one outfit set then She said it's well done ^^
Anyway, this time I spent Mommy-Daughter quality time By fulfill my Mom's appetite to try very traditional North Sumatra meals She heard from her friends a restaurant called Kedai Kak Ani One of my friend told me that their food not good enough but since my Mom want to taste it, I can only cross my finger hope that the taste at least fine

If you dare try this Ice Orange Ketna.. The taste like orange mix sourness things, very fresh ^^
Overall the longing cap gomeh quite similar with the one from North Sumatra (in my Mom opinion) But She said that She want to try Kedai Kak Ani in North Sumatra to try which one is the best or just to prove if they have the same taste then it's a great thing

.DIY: Vintage Look Sweater with Jellyfish effect.

Hello.. I'm finally make this diy post. yay! This is super easy diy and you can do it just for 15 minutes or longer You need more time if only you can't make your own pom-pom

First thing to do: Prepare your sweater, knit yarn and scissors After I made a few pieces of pom-pom then this my lovely scissors just lost huh! This is my best scissors to cut any kind of fabrics, poor me :(
Here we go.. Make some pompoms by your own, I know there is some tools to make pompoms but i think it's more easy to googling how to diy pompoms without any pompom tools Since I don't have any pompoms tutorial if you find it's hard to do just email me then I would love to share a video tutorial to make those pompoms

Then: collect your pompoms (in this project I keep the yarn quite longer so it will make the jellyfish effect on your sweater, a matching thread and needle also measurement tape

Use your measurement tape to quantify how far you shoulder from the neckline In this project I need about 10 cm or 4 inches to make those pompoms exactly in the middle of my shoulders Then hand sew them

After That, replace another pompoms that has a smaller size Use your creativity to make it look more attractive on your sweater Right after you feel satisfied for your replacement, hand sewing them

Voila! Now it's ready to accompany you facing the rainy season wear it with your rainy boots, a pair of jeans and simple vintage bag and don't forget to bring your rain coat or umbrella :) Oh, if your sweater doesn't have lace details like mine then you can make it exactly like mine by adding some lace on the bottom of your sweater
This is my very first diy project in 2013 I hope I can post more diy project very soon :)

Oh, finally I can post something in this 2013 beside a belated Happy New Year,lol This is a very first weekend in 2013 and all things just superb! Did you already made your own resolution or annual wishes for this year? Well it will be noting if we can't perform or make those lists happen
I just imagine sort of things that I would like to do for a year ahead Just want to share my happiness in this early year Try your best to release the pain, some things that make you feel embarrassing, anything and any want that make you feel terrible start the new things, start to make the new you, the good one
Make those things happen not just by saying it then you will feel what i feel fully charged and be positive to face this year
I hope my family and friends can support me well in this year I already felt lost in 2012 and I hope i can find the truly me in this year,hehe

I also want to change my style this year Funky style is over!lol This time I'm trying something that look simple and look mature but still I feel comfortable and you can also see me because I don't like people trying to push me wearing something that not I like

Today, I try to explore my neighborhood to do outfit post

But still I'm to shy because last Friday when I took my outfit post everybody like staring at me,lol

Happy New Year Everyone! I know this is a little bit too late to say that,lol I hope this year will be great I hope I can move from those nightmares I hope I can be more creative with my minds and this blog too!
I believe it because some good things just came up in this early 2013 The last but not least is I hope I will getting more attached with my Parents, Brothers and my close friends They're my deepest reason why I'm still alive of course there is God who really love me and give me the opportunity to be in here now but still socialized is needed,hehe

I usually start my post by apologizing my missing in action mood with a lot of excuse like my real life more interesting or any working problems Maybe i take this blog too personal.
Yup sometimes we find people put their personal life in their blog, but some of them just wanna share their things to make their self feel secure.
I don't really care the reason because I see all people want to be in a spotlight or to be seen
Sometimes I forgot the resin why I made this blog the real one, something that make me think make a post is equal with when me buy some clothes or reading a new magazine or maybe doing dvd marathon
Yes, being a blogger is a commitment sometimes it's really hard to stay in this path but I hope all of you who has the problem or feel the same way like i feel will get some help by read this post
Just think about this, ask this things to yourself: "What is my blog's purpose today?" When we can answer this question that you might find it easier to find your happiness as well

Once upon a time
Something happen and your life suddenly been moved to the next step
Just like now, I'm trying to follow what we called technology by making a post from my smart phone. Finally! And i hope i post a proper quality of pictures

Lately I've been trying to change my mind,my life even my appearance. I'm feeling too pleasurable with my comfort zone so i make a move. Hopefully it's a good one, as before I'm still trying to catching my dreams in a good way with trying to see every angle from every people's eyes or thought nearby

Hmm..I enjoy this little step and hope that i can be go to the next level to be a mature woman.

Meet someone from the past could be a refreshing moment. They reminding us the person that we should be in that old era and we know how far we walked away from that focus.

I'm so relief that I have this moment to think about more and more,put mu best effort to know more about myself, to be more comfortable with it and be shinning. I just wanna say that we must proud of ourself,why? If you don't then who's gonna be believe in you? Nothing but yourself! You can't please anybody so at least please yourself :)

This time I change my style to look more cute by wearing mint color with some tribal pattern,of course with the new short hair,hehe

Hello longweekend!

Finally at least I can make a post in this beautiful morning,hehe

Hmm..lately it's been hard to get a nice time to make a post

I really love this digital ear but still i can make a change about time

I just need more than 24 hours a day specially on weekends,haha

I gonna tell you one of my secret

actually since i was in high school I've been addicted to magazine!hahaha

Specially some of them that give me knowledge about fashion, music, art and photography

Sometimes i cut my budget for hangout or meals to buy some of them

In this case, I will share my favorite magazine ever!

First.. Who doesn't' love nylon?

I've always buy this magazine since i was in college

and i was very happy to know they make an Indonesian edition!

They really put their heart to make each of edition

Second..Of course frankie!

Even it's very hard to get a copy, i mean the real one

sometimes i must searching it on entire twitter world

that i could possible find someone who import this magazine to my town

Finally some of bookstore in my town import this magazine but still the price is two times

more expensive than the real price

This moment i can't wait any longer

and ordered one of frankie 50 issue beside i think it's pretty fair

since this is a special edition and publish every two months

This 50 issue has a very fantastic cover,

it's handmade by needle and thread! I don't know how they do it

but they make it into a print very beautifully

When you touch its cover, you will definitely feel

and know that it's hand sewing!

I know it also from the first time i've got an alert in my email

that the digital version of this issue was release on zinio!

that moment also make me eager to have the real one!

yay! i know this been too much just only for one magazine

but that's my deepest feeling of this magazine!LOL

Last one is YEN!

This is my first time buy YEN magazine, just wanna check their content

Why? Because the price getting cheeper than before

and found this magazine look similar with frankie

hmm..maybe frankie is focusing with art or crafty project even

you will never get bored with it because

they also put music and life story by inspiring people as their content

YEN is more simple, with a clean cover

This two magazine was came from Aussie, but still

I'm wondering how they make it in simple and clean cover?

Very opposite from any other magazine,specially

compare to my local magazine

hmm..is it because they are an independent magazine?

hmm..either it's true or not

They still have their own worshiper

just like me,haha

Who doesn't love Sunday? It's a great day to go for a church service than having a chat with your family
This time, i spent with my big brother for lunch and sharing some things, them that things called problems,eh..
We make a mistake and of course who wants to repeat it again and again? No one.. It's not my style to asked someone of something that happen in my life but sometimes we need asked a few people because each person have their own point of view that might be different from yours and it can open your eyes in different way
Nah..that's what I need Being a mature person with an attitude is hard, I prefer to check every possibilities that could be from one problem and then find the best way to handle it
Anyway, this is just my opinion but NYLON indonesia just getting bold and bolder month by month This is not an ads but I write this matter because I follow them since their first edition It's really truly the best art, fashion and music magazine in town It's like some huge matters coming in one package, brilliant!
