Speaking of dresses… I have been living in floor length dresses the past few weeks. They make me feel all girly and sexy… and tall. Even in dare I say, flats (gasp!) Love this All Saints dress with an Ann Demeulemeester jacket (to die!!), Balenciaga boots, and this Miu Miu tote. Not an average every day look but would certainly look good walking into the Ann D show in Paris during collections, no?

I had coffee with jewelry designer Rona Pfieffer last week and fell in love with her jewelry (and her!) The pieces are delicate, intricate and soulfully crafted, a perfect storm for unique creations like hers. Handmade with everything from rose cut diamonds to wood, the pieces are one of a kind and sell at select boutiques. Fans include Johnny Depp, who has been wearing the necklaces on the red carpet as well as Michelle Pfieffer who wears the line throughout the film Dark Shadows which opened on Friday. To all of the amazing moms in my life, first and foremost my own who gave me the courage to be myself and to follow my dreams… thanks for letting me think museums were more important than business school (though I think at this point even the museums would disagree). To my best friend (who I will celebrate with this weekend), to all of my friends that have young bucks to raise, you amaze me with your energy and creative juggling skills on a daily basis. To all of the moms I’ve known over the years who have taught me so much (you know who you are Ms. Fox, Ms. Banks and Ms. Cox, yes those are their names…) Happy Mother’s Day, my life would be so much less than it is without all of you. Sometimes I am just left speechless. I am so in love with this Bottega Veneta collection, I think I love it almost as much as Nina Ricci pre fall 2012 (yes, still talking about it… it’s like the ex who got away, it will be on my mind for years to come). More sublime gorgeousness below…
