Saw this. Loved this. Go see it this weekend. Especially if you’re that girl… Noah Baumbach‘s new film, “Frances Ha,” starring (his girlfriend) Greta Gerwig. I love seeing Tompkins Square Park on film.

The Fruitvale premier! Make sure to see this film when it comes out later this year. The young director Ryan Coogler is going to be a big deal for a long time. Levi’s knows how to throw a party for every occasion. Last night Levis’ Haus in West Hollywood hosted a soiree for their Liberty London collaboration with a bevy of gorgeous guys and gals, including Charli XCX (aka Charlotte Aitchison, check out her video and tracks below) who performed an amazing live set. DJ Michelle Pesce started off the night with her rad mix of tunes to get everyone in the mood while we got flowers in our hair (yes, that happened). The Liberty prints, which were designed exclusively for this collection, are paired with designs from Levi’s rich archives. Sneak a peak at the party pics below and my favorite vest from the collection.

I LOVE this denim vest with a vintage inspired print by Liberty on the back. The collection looked even better in person than in the images we all saw earlier this week. And of course, I am wearing my favorite Levi’s trucker jacket that I’ve been living in daily lately (I’ve decided a denim jacket is the perfect blazer for LA). The lacy dress underneath is Johnny Was.

Love this new book BLITZ by Ian R. Webb from his days as the fashion editor of the London magazine that launched in the ’80s around the same time as The Face and i-D. Ian was their fashion editor from 1982 to 1987 and the book is packed with old shoots and articles.
