The 2013 Teen Choice Awards just announced the first wave of categories and nominees, and Channing Tatum has been nominated for “Choice Male Hottie”! You helped him take home TWO coveted surf board trophies last year for ‘21 Jump Street‘, want to help him win again? Then, band together and cast your votes!

THE SHOW

Teen Choice 2013 celebrates the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion in the star-studded event airing LIVE Monday, Aug. 11 (8:00-10:00 PM ET) on FOX. Grammy-nominated artist Katy “California Gurl” Perry is set to host this year’s event.

THE LINEUP

In the “Choice Male Hottie” category Chan is up against Justin Bieber, Liam Hemsworth, Taylor Lautner, and Harry Styles.

Fans ages 13-19 can vote for their favorite Teen Choice 2013 nominees at www.teenchoiceawards.com. When you vote, you can make only one choice per category, per day, per email address, but you can (and should) vote EVERY DAY until August 11th to help Chan win.

Channing Tatum’s New Sci-Fi ‘Jupiter Ascending’ Begins Filming in the UK

Written and directed by the famed filmmakers Lana and Andy Wachowski (The Matrix” Trilogy), Channing Tatum‘s new sci-fi epic ’Jupiter Ascending‘ began filming at Warner Bros.’ Leavesden studio in London on April 2nd.

The science fiction adventure will showcase the kind of cutting-edge visual effects that have become the benchmarks of the Wachowskis’ films, and Chan and Mila Kunis lead an international cast that also includes Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, Tuppence Middleton, Doona Bae, James D’Arcy and Tim Pigott-Smith.

Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. The movie will film in the UK through June and then moves to Chicago to finish the production. Mark your calendars, because Entertainment Weekly reports that ’Jupiter Ascending‘ is currently scheduled to hit theaters on July 25, 2014, so stay tuned to CTU for the latest updates!

New Poster and Trailer for Channing Tatum’s ‘White House Down’

The first poster and teaser trailer for Channing Tatum‘s ‘White House Down‘ has arrived!

The Sony Pictures film, which is directed by Roland Emmerich and also stars Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Joey King, recently had an exclusive trailer première event in London, and Chan was on hand to hang with fans and answer questions.

In the Q&A, he talked about his respect for costar Jamie Foxx gushing,

“Jamie is a mentor, a big brother and by far one of the most talented individuals I’ve been around, never mind been lucky enough to have worked with. He has taught me an insane amount.”

Here’s what the highly anticipated action/thriller is all about…

In Columbia Pictures’ White House Down, Capitol Policeman John Cale (Channing Tatum) has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx). Not wanting to let down his little girl with the news, he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group. Now, with the nation’s government falling into chaos and time running out, it’s up to Cale to save his daughter, the president, and the country.
