[خانه بدوشی هم فوایدی دارد؛ هر از گاهی داروندرات که جز انبوه کتاب و کاغذ نیست زیرورو می شوند یا زیرورویشان می کنی و چه بسیار فراموش شدگان و گمگشتگان که یافت می شوند و به یاد می آیند. بماند که همواره چیزهایی حاضر هم جای آنها را می گیرند تا باشند بازهم آنهایی که بعدها یافت شوند. یافتۀ فعلی مربوط می شود به اواخر دهۀ شصت و یکی دو سال پایانی فرهنگ و ادب در باصطلاح نظام قدیم متوسطه. امید فراوان دارم که آینده مان چنین توصیف نخواهد شد.]

Cultural Trends, the journal that champions the need for better evidence-based analyses of the cultural sector, is delighted to announce the theme for its second one-day international conference.

‘Centre/Periphery: Devolution/Federalism’ New Trends in Cultural Policy

The tension between the power and resources at the centre and the interests and ambitions of the periphery is a long-standing issue in cultural policy. This tension has strongly been in play during the years of the Labour government. The United Kingdom has witnessed simultaneously the decline of regionalism and the rise of devolved governments that are using experiments in cultural policy as their first exercises in independence from London. Other countries in Europe and the wider world, however, have longer experience of cultural devolution, regionalism and federalism. This conference interrogates these concepts in the context of the UK cultural sector, and asks what lessons overseas models may have for us.

We wish to invite abstracts on these issues, particularly from Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland and consider models from elsewhere - France, Germany, Spain and Canada in particular.

The deadline for submission is Thursday 9^th April 2009. To submit your abstract please send an email headed ‘Cultural Trends Conference’ to the journal editor, Sara Selwood: S.Selwood@city.ac.uk" target="_blank"> S.Selwood@city.ac.uk. امکانی دیگر و البته رایگان برای افزایش و تجهیز کتابخانۀ شخصی مان با بیش از 20هزار کتاب و مجله. جالب است.

ماها کتاب زیاد می خوانیم. همین طور مجله و روزنامه. شاید بیشتر در ارتباط با کارها و تخصص و علائقمان.

احتمالا یافتن و قطعا خرید تمامی این کتابها و مجلات بویژه در اوضاع و احوال بین المللی و بومی فعلی، می تواند کاری بسیار وقت گیر و هزینه بر باشد. نتیجه هم آنکه چه بسیار مجله و کتاب که خریدشان پیش کش، به دید هم نمی آیند.

نکته همین است که بتوان راهی یافت که از طریق آن دسترسی رایگان به شمار زیادی از مجلات (شماره های فعلی و گذشته) و کتابها میسر شود.

در اینجا البته صحبت از کتابخانه های محلی و مجلس و ملی و ... نیست (که حال و روزشان معلوم است).

درعوض، صحبت از سرویس وب رایگانی است که مجلات و کتابها (غیر فارسی، شاید بعدا فارسی هم) را به گونه ای همانند نسخه های چاپی در اختیار مراجعان قرار می دهد.

... اگر تمام خوارزمیان عزم جزم میکردند و یکدل و جان تیغ خشم از نیام برمی کشیدند و بیدریغ از جان بر دشمنان وطن می تاختند، مغولان پرکبریا و فرمانروای ریش قرمز آنان شش ماه هم در خوارزم تاب نمیآوردند و برای ابد به صحراهای دوردست خویش میگریختند...

فی الواقع خاطر خطیر دوستان مستحضر هست که خبر – به معنای راستینش – را چه خصوصیاتی باید و شاید. آنان را نیز که از خبر و تنظیم خبر خبری نباشد، بد نباشد که سری بزنند یا به جزواتشان یا به کتابها و مقالاتی – وطنی و فرنگی – که از اقبال خوش بسیارند و در دسترس و که از اقبال بد مهجورند و ناخوانده مانده، شاید با مدد جستن از قاعده ها برای تشخیص بی قاعده گیها نیز به یاری علوم دقیقه و استمداد از سمیوتیکس تا لیمیا و هیمیا بتوان مجهولاتی را که در جامه ای خبری به هم درپیچیده اند (به عکس منطق در اینجا صورت و محتوا هر دو شایان عنایات و توجهات لازمه اند) معلوم ساخت (یافتن پرتقال فروش هم در این میانه بایسته ای است دیگر).

تجربه (و تحول؟)

به لطف جناب صحبت خواندم که سرکار خانم گلشیفته فراهانی در فیلمی از کارگردان بزرگ سینما ریدلی سکات به نام Body of Liesو در کنار بازیگرانی چون راسل کرو و لئوناردو دی کاپریو به ایفای نقش پرداخته اند. فیلم به زودی اکران می شود و البته از آن زودتر به بازار ایران می رسد و این فرصت پیش خواهد آمد که بهتر بتوان در مورد توان خانم فراهانی در بازیگری تأمل کرد؛ بویژه برای من که اصلا از بازیشان در سنتوری و کلا از خود فیلم خوشم نیامد جالب است که کار ایشان را در سطحی و گونه ای بسیار متفاوت با آنچه در اینجا به نام سینما می گذرد ببینم. البته روایت خودشان – چنانچه بخواهند روایتی از این تجربه داشته باشند- نیز می تواند دربردارندۀ نکات با ارزشی باشد که البته در کنار نظریات دیگران بسیار روشنگر تواند بود. به این موارد بیشتر خواهم پرداخت. فعلا فیلم را ببینیم.
