What a great way to start the year! It was such a blessing to hang out with Patrick and Jessica!! We are so happy for them both and the ceremony was absolutely beautiful, might have even wiped a tear or two away! The day couldn’t have been any better for these two. Michael+Shelly’s Wedding | St. Charles, MO

Life is never what you except. Life is written out for us, paved with love from our Father and chosen before we were knitted in the womb. With this knowledge, I couldn’t imagine trying to coordinate my life, lined up with the man I am supposed to marry, matching rhythms in step with how events need to be played out. It always amazes me that God does all the planning, coordinating, and paving according to His great purpose. He is the ultimate event planner!

With Michael + Shelly, this couldn’t have been more true. Both attended college at Harding, and were acquaintances, but it wasn’t until years later when their paths crossed again that they knew God had designed them for one another. Their love is more than evident. It radiates from a place of waiting, cultivating and growth. It is one that is designed by the Father and beautiful in every aspect. We were so honored to be part of this wedding, sharing in the love Michael+Shelly have for each other and celebrating their joy with some of our best friends in the world.

Chase and I have always dreamed of shooting a Vineyard wedding. We’ve teamed up with Mike Larson, and The Collective Photographers and shoot beautiful California weddings. We couldn’t be more excited! This was such a dream come true!! This fall we spent many of our weekends flying out to San Luis Obispo, shooting weddings at beautiful venues and enjoying the California sun! The photographers Mike, Rachel, Jake, Chloe, Meagan, and Sophie have become family. Not only did we get to shoot along side of them, but we welcomed into the TCP with open arms. We love you guys and look forward to working out in California more!

Despite the Rain | Matt+ Sara’s Wedding | Enid, Oklahoma

It was a gloomy morning. Chase & I had been contemplating the weather over Starbucks coffee. Will it rain? No. Will the clouds break? Yes.

But we were both wrong. It did rain, poured in fact. No, no sunshine at all. You would think that would dampen the mood (pun intended).

Despite the rain, Matt + Sara’s wedding was beautiful. They were real troopers, tromping through the rain and rocking out killer shots! They are such a fun loving couple, but we’ll let their images speak the rest.

A big giveaway | 12 Days of Christmas Style

Yep, you heard it right. A big giveaway indeed. We want to celebrate the holidays right!! We also want to reach as many people as we can in the upcoming New Year. So we decided what better way to do that than have a contest. Oooh goodie goodie!

We just launched our new brand, Jaime+Chase Photography site. It’s one of the many new changes that are coming in 2012. We wanted to get an early start and show you a sneak peak into what’s in store. This contest is a way to spread all the holiday cheer, and the sneak peek. I’m such a goal oriented person, and here it is. We have a goal of adding 1000 new followers to our page by Dec 12th and spreading our new look around like Christmas cheer. It’s a feasible goal, but we need your help to see it reached!

So that brings us to how this contest really works.

When Words Aren’t Enough | Ryan + Devin | Tulsa Engagement Photographers

Sometimes words are just not enough. Laughter replaces most of the words and you just find yourself in fits of giggles. Sometimes just getting choked up with emotion is the only replacement found for the words you wish to speak. It’s like that with these two. We’ve experienced both of these with Ryan+Devin. They are those rare people you can totally be yourself with and trust with all of your heart. You really couldn’t ask for two better friends.

They watched and supported us as we committed ourselves before God, family, and friends to one another this summer at our wedding. Now we get to witness the same beautiful journey. It’s a wonderful thing we get to behold, a love that is deeply rooted in a relationship with God, a love that is based on a commitment of respect, a love that is bound in friendship. This chokes me up and give me a joyful excitement at the same time. Come April I’m going to be a wreck. I’ll have to carry 3 times the normal tissue ratio. (1 for me, 1 for Chase, 1 for Devin) We’re so blessed and honored to be apart of this union and the steps that lead up to the day Ryan and Devin become One.

Rob + Tyree | An Elegant Outdoor Wedding | Enid, Oklahoma

I love it when we have couples that become our friends, couples who are in love, and couples who are game for anything!

Rob + Tyree have become so dear to us and truly like family. Tyree is gorgeous, Audrey Hepburn style gorgeous. She has such a classic look and on her wedding day was just radiating with such joy that it was all I could do but hide my smiles behind the camera. Rob is such a down to earth kind of guy. The kind where your best friends right away. Maybe even sing a best friends song every now and again. Together they are fun loving and fantastic!! To say we love this couple is an understatement!

Their wedding reflected their style down to the last dance. It was a blast.
