Hi!

It's been quite awhile since the last post that i posted.

Well, today I would to share with you guys a tips on how to upgrade your Acer Liquid E with Android 2.1 Eclair to Android 2.2 Froyo. I'm not going to use any custom ROMS. I only want to share the easiest way to upgrade by using Acer original ROM. Using custom ROMS can be tricky sometimes, since I've been browsing through every single one of them and i don't understand any of those guys were talking about. So, this is for the slow user only (like me ;) ).

Do this at your own risk, okay. I'm not responsible if by doing so, your device turn to dust. Be Aware, Be Very Aware!!!!!!!!!!

Shall we begin now?

Okay, first you guys got to head your country Acer website, as for me it's here Acer Malaysia.

Go to Support : Drivers & Download

Pick your device (in our case "Smartphones") pick your series (Liquid E)

Choose the 'OS' tab *(gentle reminder : this upgrade is only compatible for Liquid E with 512MB RAM)

Download the file 4.005.05.AAP.GEN2_A22F, after the download complete, unzip it.

Inside you will find 3 files. You only have to run the 'setup' file.

After this you guys will be prompt with this message. Please remove your Liquid E from your PC/Notebook.

Ok, now we are ready to continue to upgrade our device. Click next to continue.

Please read again and now to the point of no return (hahahaahaha). Make sure your device at least have 30% of battery and you are good to go...

This will around 30 minutes to complete. After it's all done your smartphone will reboot and it will take awhile until you see the Android logo. PLEASE BE PATIENT.

Some Verdicts Pertaining to Supplications

Usamah bin Zaid (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who is favoured by another and says to his benefactor: `Jazak-Allah khairan (may Allah reward you well) indeed praised (the benefactor) satisfactorily."[At-Tirmidhi].

Commentary:

If one is unable to return someone's kindness with kindness, he should say, "Jazak-Allahu khairan (may Allah reward you well)." This means: "I am unable to reciprocate your kindness. May Allah grant you the best reward for it." Obviously there is no match for the reward that one gets from Allah. For this reason the Prophet (PBUH) said that it was the best of the praise for a benefactor.

252/1496 - Riyad Us-Saliheen (Gardens of the Righteous)

1. Above All, She Wants Your Love

When a wife shows her husband less respect, he in turn shows her less love.
And when a husband shows his wife less love, she in turn shows him less respect.
And the vicious cycle repeats itself.
Stop this prophecy before it becomes self-fulfilling. Show love to your wife. Thats what she wants. Love her despite her flaws and quirks.

And Inshallah, she’ll respect you despite your flaws and quirks.

2. She is Bored

Its the same thing every day. Week in and week out. Not only is she bored but she is also tired. She has to care for the kids and run the household and then pamper you.

Just thinking about doing that every day makes me want to crawl under my covers and hide. I can imagine how the average Muslim housewife must feel.

And lets not forget about working woman. Many Muslim women have to work a full time job as well as hold a house down.

So brothers, I implore you, make your wife feel special.

Give her a break.

Take her out sometimes. Surprise her with a surprise meal. Bring her favorite desert home.

Just do something every now and then to break the monotony.

3. She Wants to Be Complimented

Appreciation. Everybody wants it. No one wants to feel as if the hard work they do goes unnoticed or even worse, it taken for granted.

Your wife does not have to clean your dirty clothes. And she does not have to cook your meals. But she does. And she does that on top of all the other things in her life:

Working or going to school.
Caring for the kids.
Striving to be a better Muslimah.

Show your wife that you appreciate and are thankful for the things she does to maintain you and your family.

A simple “thank you” is a good start.

4. She is Insanely Jealous

There is a reason most women dont care for polygamy.

Be very careful how you talk about other women around your wife.

Dont ever compare your wife to another woman.

Dont compare her to some female movie star.
Dont compare her to your mother.

Never, ever compare her to your ex-wife (or other wife!)

She wants to know and believe that she is the center of your universe. So make her feel that way.

Even the Prophets (pbuh) wives got jealous. Aisha (RA) even got jealous of Khadijah (RA) even though she had already died several years before.

5. She Wants You to Help Her Become A Better Muslimah

Your wife desires and wants you to be her leader. And what better way to lead her than to be show her how to be a better Muslimah?

But you cant show her how to become better if you’re not that great either.

Therefore, you have to upgrade your Iman.

You have to improve yourself and then pass it on to her in a gentle, respectful way.

6. She Does not Like to Nag, But Sometimes You Make It Hard

Its a common myth that women like to nag their husbands. Thats not entirely true.

Yes, there are some people (men and women) whom you can never please. No matter what you do, they will always find fault in something.

Let us be reminded of the following hadith:

Narrated Ibn Abbas: The Prophet said: “I was shown the Hell-fire and that the majority of its dwellers were women who were ungrateful.” It was asked, “Do they disbelieve in Allah?” (or are they ungrateful to Allah?) He replied, “They are ungrateful to their husbands and are ungrateful for the favors and the good (charitable deeds) done to them. If you have always been good (benevolent) to one of them and then she sees something in you (not of her liking), she will say, ‘I have never received any good from you.”

Sahih Bukhari

So, yes sisters should be careful about denigrating the things your husband does for you.

But very often, you Brother, make it hard for her to hold your tongue.

Perhaps you are always finding fault with her and she looks for things in your character to get even.

Perhaps you are not working (or not working hard enough) and she has to work to take up some slack.

Perhaps you are just not that great of a guy.

Once again, upgrade yourself and give her less reasons to complain and nag.

7. More Than Anything, She Wants a Stable,

Happy Relationship With You

Women dont get married just because they think its gonna be fun.

They get married because they want a happy family life and they believe you are gonna give it to them.

Outside of her religious duties, thats the most important thing in a Muslim womans life. Raising a happy, stable, Muslim family.

The funny thing is, its very easy for you to give that to her.

Stop acting like a jerk. Be a good husband to her. Be kind. Show her you love her.

Dont threaten her with divorce or taking a second wife. But using them as threats is inappropriate and detrimental to your marriage.

Trust in Allah, watch out for the tricks of Shaytan, and be patient with her. Theres nothing Shaytan would love more than to destroy your marriage.
See? That isnt all that hard, now is it ?

The Prophet (SallAllahu alaihi wasallam) said, "A time will come upon the people when one will not care how one gains one's money, legally or illegally."

Sahih Al-Bukhari 3:275

Bidah

1. Reasons behind the Existence of Bidah.

2. Bidah Corrupting the Sunnah.

3. Shunning the Bidah - Adherence to the Sunnah.

4. Arguments of the Misguided.

The word Bidah in Arabic is taken from Al-Bada', that is to create something without precedence. Allah says in the Quran, which translated means: Badei' (the Originator) of the heavens and the earth. [Surah Al-Baqarah Verse 117]

This means that Allah created the heavens and the earth without precedence. He also said: Say (O Muhammad (saws): I am not Bidan (a new thing) among the Messengers. [Surah Ahqaf Verse 9]

This means: 'I am not the first of Allah's Prophets to His slaves, many (Prophets) preceded me. When it is said that a person has performed a Bidah, this means that he has innovated a new thing without precedence.

Bidahs in the matters of life, like the new scientific inventions are permissible because originally, what is a matter of life or habit is permissible. The prohibited Bidah is to innovate in the religion. This is because the religion is 'Tawqifiyah' which means that religion can only be revealed by Allah and He has completely revealed His religion. Consequently, there is no room for any innovation. As will be manifest and clear from the following text.

Allah Alone has the right to tell us how to worship Him.

Allah says Surah Al-Araf Verse 3: Follow what has been sent down to you from your Lord (the Qur'aan and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhaamd (sallallhu alahi wa-sallam) and follow not any Auliya (protectors, or helper etc. who order you to associate partners in worship with Allah), besides Him.

From the Tafseer (explanation) of this verse, we learn that this verse is a definite statement, explaining the right of Allah Alone; to reveal and command His slaves, the manners of worshipping Him. And how could it be otherwise, when the true meaning of 'Ibaadah' is to worship Allah in the way, which pleases Him, not following one's own desires. As is known from the following verse:"And who is more astray then one who follows his own lust (desires) without the guidance from Allah (revelation)" [Surah Al-Qasas Verse 50]

In regards to this Prophet Muhammad (saws) said: "I warn you of the newly invented matters (in the religion), and every newly invented matter is an innovation, and every innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Hellfire" [An-Nasa'ee]

And He (saws) used to declare at the beginning of his lectures, ".and the best speech is the Speech of Allah, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (saws), and the worst of all affairs are the newly invented matters (in the religion)" [Sahih Muslim]

And He (saws) also commanded us, to reject everything, which has no basis in the religion saying:Whosoever does an action, which we have not commanded then it must be rejected." [Sahih Muslim]

"Whosoever introduces into this religion of ours that which is not a part of it then it must be rejected [Musnad Ahmad]

In this Hadeeth is a clear evidence that every action which is not legislated in the Shariah must be rejected [Jaami al-Ulum of ibn Rajab 1/120]

Consequently, every Bidah, that is introduced in the religion has to be rejected as for the reason that only Allah and His Messenger (saws) have the right to legislate in the Shariah.

The Deen is complete

Allah says in the Quran Surah Maidah Verse 4: "This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion"

This verse embodies a clear statement that the religion has been completed and so has no need of addition and deletion, and our noble Messenger (saws) said: "There is nothing that Allah ordered you with except that I have ordered you with it, and there is nothing that Allah forbade you from except that I have forbidden you from it" [al-Bayhaqee and others]

And He (saws) said, "There is nothing that will take you closer to Paradise but that I have enjoined it upon you, and there is nothing that will take you closer to Hell but that I have warned you from it [Musnad ash-Shafi'e and others]

So, Prophet Muhammad (saws) fulfilled the trust placed upon him by Allah completely, explaining the religion to the people in it's inward and outward form, making clear the lawful from the prohibited, the encouraged from the discouraged, even to the extent that he (saws) taught us the manners of going to the toilet, the manners of having sex with our partners etc.

Allah also says in His Book Surah Al-Maidah Verse 89: "and We have sent down to you Book (the Quran) as an exposition (explanation) of everything, a guidance, a mercy and a glad tiding for those who have submitted themselves (to Allah).

Hence, Quran contains the explanation of the entire religious principles, tawheed in all it's various categories, even to the extent that it teaches us the manners of sitting in circles, visiting other people's houses, the correct clothing etc.

In the light of what has preceded we can now give the formal Shariah definition of bidah... "A newly invented way (in beliefs and actions) in the religion, in imitation of the Shariah, by which nearness to Allah is sought, not being supported by any authentic proof, neither in it's foundations nor in the manner in which it is performed." [al-I'tisaam 1/231 of ash-Shaatibee]

Reasons behind the Existence of Bidah

(a) IGNORANCE: Whenever people separate from the True Message, knowledge will decrease and ignorance will flourish. The Prophet of Allah (saws) informed us about this adversity when He said: Whoever lives (long) will witness many differences. [Abu Dawood]

And He (saws) also said: Allah does not erase knowledge (from earth) by erasing knowledge from slaves (hearts). Rather, He erases knowledge through the death of scholars. When He leaves (earth) without scholars, people will take the ignorant as leaders (and scholars). They (the ignorant) will be asked and then give fatawah without knowledge. Then, they will be lead, and will lead astray. [Ahmad]

People of knowledge are those who fight against Bid'ahs. When knowledge and scholars disappear from earth, then Bidah will see the light. Bidah will then appear and spread.

(b) FOLLOWING ONE'S OWN DESIRES: Whoever shuns the Qur'aan and the Sunnah, and follows his own desires, then pertaining him Allah says Surah Al-Qasas Verse 50:But if they answer you not (O Muhammad (saws) (i.e. do not believe in your teachings of Islamic Monotheism, nor follow you), then know that they only follow their own lusts. And who is more astray then one who follows his own lust (desires) without the guidance from Allah (revelation)"

Surah A-Jathiyah Verse 23: Have you seen him who takes his own desires as his god, and Allah knowing (him as such) left him astray, sealed his hearing and his heart, and put a cover on his sight. Who then will guide him after Allah.

So, following one's own desires leads one to straying away from the Straight Path and indulging in evil innovation

(c) BLIND FOLLOWING: When it is said to them: 'Follow peoples opinion blindly prevents one from following the Straight path. Allah said what translated means: Follow what Allah has sent down. They say: Nay! We shall follow what we found our fathers following. Even though their fathers did not understand anything, nor were they guided. [Surah al-Baqarah Verse 170]

This is the case today with those who blindly follow a Madhab. If they are called to following the Quran and the Sunnah, leaving their traditions, what opposes them, they claim to follow their own Madhab, scholars, fathers or grandfathers, which leads them to indulge in many evil affairs known as rituals and traditions, originated from the worst of affairs; Bidahs resulting to the final abode in Hellfire.

(d) IMITATING THE KUFFAR: Imitating the Kuffar is what befalls one most in Bidahs, because actions of the Kuffar are built only upon corruption and misguidance.

Abu Waqid Al-Laithi said: We were still new Muslims when we went to the battle of Hunain with the Prophet (saws). We found that the Mushrikeen had a tree, called That Anwar, which they revered and on which they hanged their weapons on. When we passed by a similar Sidrah we said: O Messenger of Allah (sallallhu alahi wa-sallam), make for us 'That Anwar' as they have.. Prophet (saws) said: Allahu Akbar! It is the Sunnan (traditions of the Mushrikeen). You said by He Who has my soul in His Hand, what the children of Israel said to Moses: Make for us gods as they have gods. He said: 'Verily! You are a people who know not. [7:138] and He (saws) said: You will follow the traditions of those before you (Jews and Christians) [at-Tirmidhee]

In this hadeeth, we find that imitating the Kuffar (non-believers) is what drove Jews (before them), and some of the companions (ra), to ask for this ugly matter. They wanted gods to worship and revere other than Allah. This is the case with the majority of Muslims today, imitating the disbelievers, which is an opening to ruthless Bidahs in Islam.

Bidah is more Beloved to Shaytaan than Sinning Sufyaan ath-Thawree (rahimahullah) said: "Innovations are more beloved to Shaytaan than sin. Since a sin may be repented from but an innovation is not repented [Sharh Usul I'tiqaad of al-Laalikaa'ee (d.414) no.238]

This is because the innovator believes that he is doing something good and therefore sees no need to repent.

He also said, "so cling to the original state of affairs" [al-Hilya 6/376] meaning stick to the way of Muhammad (saws) and Companions

Imaam Abu Haneefah (rahimahullah) said, "Stick to the narrations and the way of the salaf, and beware of the newly invented matters for all of it is innovation" [Sawnul Muntaq of as-Suyutee pg.32]

Imaam Maalik (rahimahullah) said, "He, who innovates an innovation in Islam regarding it as something good, has claimed that Muhammad (saws) has betrayed his trust to deliver the message as Allah says Surah Al-Maidah Verse 4: "This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion [al-I'tisaam]

Imaam Ahmad (rahimahullah) said, "The fundamental principles of the sunnah with us are avoiding innovations and every innovation is misguidance" [Usul as-Sunnah of Imaam Ahmad pg.1]

Bidah Corrupting the Sunnah

We are taught in the revelation that the Sunnah shall become corrupted and this corruption would become the norm (custom), so much so that the people who follow the Sunnah would become as strangers, and those who call to purifying the sunnah would be slandered and reviled (hated).

The Prophet (saws) said: "Islam began as something strange, and it shall return as something strange as it began. So who give glad tidings to the strangers." It was asked, "who are the strangers?" He replied, "Those that purify and correct what the people have corrupted of my sunnah" [Tabaraanee in al-Kabeer

And what is this corruption, it is none other than innovation, introducing into the pure religion of Allah, new ways of worshipping Him that He has not taught, blemishing His religion with one's own whims and desires, something that Allah Himself condemns:
Surah Ash-Shura Verse 21: "Or do they have partners with Allah, who have instituted for them a religion which Allah has not allowed.

The Companion Abdullaah ibn Mas'ud (ra) laments: How will it be when the trials overcome you, in which the young grow old and the old grow senile. And the people take the Bidah as the sunnah, and when it changes they say: the sunnah has changed. It was said: When will this be? O Abu Abdur Rahmaan! He replied: When your speakers are many and your scholars are few, and the wealthy ones are plenty and the trustworthy ones are few." [ad-Daarimee]

How true this statement is today, that the innovations have become so widespread in the religion that the people have taken them to be the Sunnah. And when the true scholar speaks out against these innovations, he is labelled as a 'wahhabi' by the people because to them it seems that he is changing the sunnah. To Allah, we complain of the ignorance of our times!

So, once this topic becomes clear, a truth that none can deny; that all these innovations in the religions are a clear denial of the above mentioned verses and ahadith, for none were done by the Companions (ra). And in what has preceded is ample evidence for any fair-minded Muslim that all Bidah is blameworthy, and in fact a major sin. But unfortunately, the Muslims are in such a state today that the Words of Allah and His Messenger (saws) are no longer enough to convince them and certain groups of people have come up with belief that has very frail grounds in the Sunnah. For example, the belief of 'Bidah hasanah', i.e. a good Bidah, meaning that a scholar can introduce a new action of worship in Islam, which can be considered to be good as long it does not contradict any of the principles of Islam. This belief is completely false and has no basis in the Quran neither in the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad (saws). This issue will be discuss later in details inshallah,

Shunning the Bidah - Adherence to the Sunnah

The cure for shunning these newly invented matters has been specified in the texts of Quran and the Sunnah: Allah has revealed the religion of Islam unto Prophet Muhammad (saws), and made adherence to his way, the cure to misguidance:

Surah Anam Verse 153: Say 'And Verily, this is My Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from this Path.'

Allah also says in the Quran Surah Ahzab Verse 21: Indeed in the Messenger of Allah, you have an excellent example to follow for him, who hopes in (the meeting with) Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much.

Prophet (saws) said: "I have left behind me two things, if you cling to them you will never go astray. They are the Book of Allah and my Sunnah" [al-Haakim]

And " and you will live to see great difference, so cling to my sunnah and the sunnah of the rightly guided caliphs after me, even if it be with your teeth" [Bukhari]

Abdullaah ibn Mas'ud (ra) said: Follow the sunnah of Muhammad (saws) and do not innovate, for what you have been commanded is enough for you." [Ad-Daarimee]

Hudhayfah bin al-Yaman (ra) said, "every act of worship that the Companions did not do, do not do it" [Abu Dawood]

The Taabi'ee, the Imaam, az-Zuhree commented, "Clinging to the sunnah is to be saved, as Imaam Maalik (rahimahillah) said, 'like the Ark of Noah', he who embarked upon it was saved, and he who did not was destroyed." [Ad-Daarimee]

Abu Aaliyah said, "Learn Islam, then when you have learned Islam, do not turn away from it to the right or to the left. But be upon the Straight Path and be upon the Sunnah of your Prophet (saws) and that which his companions were upon.

And beware of these innovations because they cause enmity and hatred amongst you, but stick to the original state of affairs that was there before they divided." [al-Hilya of Abu Nu'aym 2/218]

In these narrations is clear evidence that the way of salvation and safety is to closely follow the Sunnah of our Prophet (saws), and not to deviate from his path, denying the guidance of others, not accepting a corrupted form of the Sunnah.

Allah says Surah An-Nisa Verse 115: "And whosoever does not contends with the Messenger after guidance has been made clear to him, and follows a way other than the way of the believers, We shall leave in the path he has chosen, and land him in Hell, what an evil destination!

Arguments of the Misguided

Know, O noble reader! The saying that some Bidahs are good and that not every Bidah is a sin, rather some Bidahs are good is a clear misguidance. Every example that these misguided bring from the actions of the Sahaba(ra) to prove their belief of a 'good innovation', is invalid and it just shows their weak understanding of the Sunnah of Muhammad (saws), for all of these examples have a clear basis in the Sharee'ah, or occurred due to necessity, or from ijtihaad. Insha'Allah, we will mention a few of their arguments:

Initially, know that their saying is in opposition to the Hadeeth: For every Bid'ah is a sin [Abu Dawood]

The Prophet of Allah (saws) clearly stated that all Bidahs are sins.

Ibn Rajab says regarding this issue: The Prophet's (saws) saying: 'every Bidah is a sin' is a unique way of speech that nothing (no Bidah) can escape. This is a major rule in this religion. It is similar to Prophet's (saws) saying: Whoever innovates, in this religion of ours, whatever is not of it, is rejected.

Whoever innovates a matter that has no basis in Islam, and introduced it to the religion, has sinned. The religion disowns whoever does that. This rule applies to all matters of belief, action, and saying, both in public or in secrecy.

1. When Umar (ra) was caliph, he collected the Muslims to pray in congregation for taraaweeh prayers and said, "what a good bid'ah this is" [Sahih Bukhari]

Evidence is derived from this for 'bidah hasanah' (i.e. Good Bidah), but of course they have misunderstood the true intent of Umar (ra), which can be clearly understood if one were to quote the context of this narration.

When the Prophet (saws) first prayed taraweeh, the Muslims used to pray taraweeh individually or in small groups, and then for three nights they prayed in one congregation behind the Prophet (saws), and after this he (saws) stopped them from doing so by saying:
"I feared that it would become obligatory upon you." So after this again, the Muslims would pray individually or in small groups, and they remained like this throughout the rule of Abu Bakr (ra) and the beginning of the rule of Umar (ra). Then Umar (ra) came to the Mosque and saw the Muslims praying in small groups and so gathered them as one jama'ah to pray behind Ubayy bin Ka'b (ra) and Tameem ad-Daaree (ra) and stated the above phrase. [Reported in Bukhari, the Muwatta and others]

Firstly: How can the action of Umar (ra) be considered to be new when the Prophet (saws) did it in his lifetime? Not only this but the Muslims were also in the habit of praying in small groups as well. Hence, the praying of taraweeh in jamaa'ah was well established in the sunnah and the practice of the Sahabah (ra).

Secondly: The Prophet (saws) gave the reason why he stopped the congregational prayer, for the revelation was still descending, and he feared that praying in obligation might become obligatory upon his nation, and that this might lead to be hard on them.

After the death of Muhammad (saws), the revelation ceased, and this fear was no longer present. Hence, Umar (ra) re-established the congregation during his rule because he knew his action could not be made obligatory upon the ummah.

Thirdly: All the companions agreed to this action of Umar (ra), there was a consensus (ijmaa) on this. And the scholars of 'usul' have stated that a consensus cannot occur except when there is a clear text for it in the Shariah.

Fourth: So how do we understand this statement of Umar (ra), "what a good bidah this is" when the action that Umar (ra) called a bidah was done by the Prophet saws? Bidah here can only be understood in it's linguistic sense and not in it's Shariah sense i.e. when Umar (ra) said this, he did not mean it in the legal sense that we may understand it today. For how many are the words that mean one thing in the language, but another thing in the Shariah! The linguistic sense is: something new, because praying in one congregation was not present in the rule of Abu Bakr (ra) and the earlier period of his own rule.

Hence, Abu Yusuf (rahimahullah) said, "I asked Abu Haneefah (rahimahullah) about the taraweeh and what Umar (ra) did and he replied, 'the taraweeh is a stressed sunnah, and Umar (ra) did not do that from his own opinion, and neither was there in his action any innovation, and he did not enjoin it except that there was a foundation for it with him and authorization from the Prophet (saws)" ['Sharh Mukhtaar' as quoted from in 'al-Ibdaa' (pg. 80) of Shaykh Alee Mahfooz]

2.The hadith: Whosoever starts in Islam a good practice (sunnah), he gets the reward of it and the reward of all those, who act on it. And whosoever starts in Islam an evil practice (sunnah), he gets the evil of it and the evil of all those, who act on it." [Saheeh Muslim]

The evidence they derive from this hadeeth is that people can invent new practices in Islam, either good or bad. But were they to take this hadith in it's full context then it would not be possible to infer such a thing.

Imam Muslim(rahimahullah) reported this story from Jareer ibn 'Abdullaah (ra) who also narrated: "Some people came to Prophet (saws) wearing woollen garments. He (saws) saw that they were in bad shape and in desperate need, so he (saws) urged the people to give them charity. People were very slow to respond, and it could be seen on his face (that he was upset). Then a man of the Ansaar brought a package of silver, then another came, then after him another and another, and his face was filled with joy. He (saws) said: 'Whoever starts a good thing in Islam, and others do likewise after him, there will be written for him a reward like that of those who followed him, without detracting it in the least from their reward. Whoever starts a bad thing in Islam, and others do likewise after him, there will be written for him a burden of sin like that of those who followed him, without detracting it in the least from their burden. [Sahih Muslim, no. 1017]

Firstly: The word sunnah used in the hadith must be understood in it's linguistic sense (i.e. practice) not it's shariah sense (i.e. the life example of Muhammad (saws) because otherwise it would imply that there is something bad in the sunnah.

Secondly: The Sahaba (ra) who gave charity, did not do anything new, for giving charity had been legislated from the very early days of Islam as the Makkan surahs prove, rather he was simply implementing a previously legislated matter. So, the statement of the Prophet (saws), 'a good sunnah' was said at a time when the people were reluctant to give charity, so one man gave it and then others followed him - i.e. he renewed a sunnah that was being neglected - this is the meaning of 'good practice' - renewing an existing sunnah.

Hence, we do not stick just to the specific occurrence in the hadith, but we generalize it's intent as it's wording is general and as is established in the 'usul'. The intent of this hadeeth is renewing the Sunnah when it has been neglected. This is why the early scholars of Islam included this hadeeth under the chapter "The reward of the one who renews the sunnah" [as done by the 4th century Imaam al-Laalikaa'ee in his encyclopedic work detailing the belief of Ahlus Sunnah, 'Sharh Usul I'tiqaad Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah']

Thirdly: The meaning of 'bad sunnah' is to be understood in the similar vein, i.e. the one who renews an evil act, will get it's evil. Prophet (saws) gave the example of the two sons of Adam (alaihi as-salaam), one killing the other, one who killed got the sin of his action as well the sin of all those who follow hi in killing; without their sins decreasing, an killing had been forbidden from the time of the first Prophet (alahi as-salaam) to the last.

Fourthly: The hadeeth uses the terms 'good' and 'bad', and from what has preceded, it is clear that Islam has already defined in it's totality all that it is good and bad, and if we were to say otherwise, we would then be accusing the religion of incompleteness and deficiency.

5 Difficult Sunnahs You Ought To Be Doing

1. Praying Tahajjud or the Night Prayer.

Oh yeah, this one is difficult. It’s hard enough for many Muslims to even get up for Salaatul Fajr (the Dawn Prayer) which is mandatory. It’s certainly no easy thing waking up even earlier for the night prayer. Establishing and maintaining this wonderful act takes great sacrifice and patience.
Which is why the rewards are so plentiful.

In fact, this is one of the few Sunnahs that are endorsed by Allah in the Quran as well as the hadith.

Arise to (pray) the night except for a little. Half of it or subtract from it a little.
Chapter 73, verse 2-3.

2. Making All of The Sunnah Prayers

Two Rakaah before Salaatul Fajr; none after.
Four Rakaah before Salaatul Dhuhr; two Rakaah after.
Four Rakaah before Salaatul Asr; none after.
None before Salaatul Maghrib; two Rakaah after.
None before Salaatul Isha; two Rakaah after.
It is also recommended that you make Salaatul Witr before going to bed. This can also be combined with Tahajjud instead.

3. Fasting on Mondays and Thursdays

Generally, fasting is difficult no matter when you do it. It’s difficult to do it for thirty days straight during Ramadhan. And it’s difficult to do it twice a week outside of Ramadan.

But it is an act that is loved by Allah. So, it is something you should try to make part of your life. After all, this is one action that no one except you and Allah knows about.

People can see you pray. And they can see you give charity. And they can see you read Quran.

But no one can “see” you fast. Even if you tell someone you’re fasting, no one knows the truth except you and Allah. That’s one of the reasons Allah loves this deed so much.

4. Reciting Suratul Kahf on Fridays

Suratul Kahf (the Chapter of the Cave) is a very interesting chapter. It is the 18th chapter of the Quran and includes many lessons and stories. Some of the stories included are:

The story of the Companions of the Cave.
The story of Musa and Khidhr.
The story of Dhul Qarnain and Gog and Magog.

Some of the lessons included are:

Leaving the land of disbelief if oppressed for your beliefs.
Understanding that all pleasures in this world are temporary.
Being patient with Allah’s decree.
Signs of the Last Day.

Whoever reads Suratul Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays. Narrated by Al-Hakim

It’s easy to see the benefits of reciting suratul Kahf every Friday. But actually doing so is not so easy. Some reasons I think many people neglect this action:

It’s a fairly long chapter. It takes about forty minutes to read the entire chapter in Arabic with proper Tajweed. Even someone who reads better than I do would probably take at least half an hour.
You have to know how to read Arabic and read it pretty well. If you don’t know how to read Arabic or if you’re not very good at it, you’re going to find what takes me forty minutes will probably take you a couple of hours. Not trying to discourage you. Just keeping it real. And no, you can’t read it in English and expect the same reward.
People forget. It’s not easy to remember to do something once a week, week in and week out. If it’s done every day, it might be easier to remember. My suggestion, program your cell phone calendar to remind you that it’s Friday and you have to read Suratul Kahf.
People are lazy. Plain and simple.

5. Making Two Rakaahs After Every Wudu

Seriously? This one is not even all that difficult. But I’m sure many people don’t do it.

Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah, upon whom be peace, said to Bilal, “O Bilal, tell me what good deed you have done in Islam that I hear the sound of your footsteps in Paradise?” Bilal said, “That after I purify myself during the day or night, I pray with that purification as much as Allah has destined for me.” Related by Bukhari

I can understand why you might want to neglect this deed. If you work in an office building or are in school, it may not be so easy to find a place to make a two rakaah several times a day.

But this is a list difficult Sunnahs, isn’t it?

Don’t be too hard on yourself if you’re not fulfilling any of these. Even though there is great reward in doing them, they are voluntary acts. So there is no punishment if you decide not to do them.

However, rather than neglect them altogether, pick out the ones you think you can do. And then, do it.

It’s really that simple.

4. BELIEF IN THE MESSENGERS

Allah has chosen Messenger from among His own creatures. He has sent all of the Messengers with the same Message, delivering this Message to all people; "Surely We have sent to each nation a Messenger (saying) ‘Worship Allah and abandon the false gods.’" (The Quran 16:36) . These Messenger were sent to invite their people to worship Allah alone, abandoning all false deities. Beside the first objective of inviting to the worship of Allah alone, the Messengers also were commissioned with warning people of the torment in the next life for those who did not worship Allah alone; as well as delivering glad tidings to those who worship Allah. By this, mankind will have no excuse on the Day of Resurrection. Allah the Mighty and Majestic said, "Surely We have sent to each nation a Messenger (saying) ‘Worship Allah and abandon the false gods.’" (The Qur’an 16:36) and: "We would not punish (a people) until we send a Messenger (to them)." (The Qur’an 17:15).

The Messengers were worshipers of Allah whom Allah honored with the position of Prophet hood and Messengership. They were indeed the greatest men who ever lived and the best example, Allah says about Nuh (Noah, peace be upon him); "Indeed he was a great worshiper." (The Quran 17:3) and about Ibrahim, Ishaq and Yaqub (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, peace be upon them): "Recall Our worshipers, Ibrahim, Ishaq and Yaqub, who were loyal worshipers and well versed in religion." (The Quran 38:45). Regarding Yusuf (Joseph, peace be upon him): "Surely he was one of Our chosen worshipers." (The Qur’an 12:24). Regarding Dawood (David, peace be upon him): "Recall Our worshiper Dawood, a loyal servant..." (The Qur’an 38:17). Regarding Sulaiman (Solomon, peace be upon him): "How excellent a worshiper, indeed he was loyal in repentance to Us." (The Quran 33:44). Concerning Ayub (Job, peace be upon him): "How excellent a servant." (The Quran 38:44). Concerning Muhammad (peace be upon him): "Blessed be He who revealed the Criterion to His worshiper." (The Quran 25:1); and concerning Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him) Allah said, "He was but a worshiper upon whom We bestowed favors, and We made him example for the children of Israel." (The Qur’an 43:59).

The Last of all of the Prophet and Messengers was Muhammad (peace be upon him). He was, in fact, sent for all of mankind: "Say: O mankind! Surely I am the Messenger of Allah unto all of you..." (The Qur’an 7:158).

The Legislation that was revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the religion of Islam. This is the religion that Allah is please with for His worshipers. He does not accept from them other than His religion, saying, "This day I have perfected your Religion for you, completed My Favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam, as your way of life." (The Quran 5:3) and: "Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be of the losers." (The Quran 3:85) and: "Every time a group is cast in (Hell) its custodians will ask, ‘Did a warner not come to you?’ They will respond, ‘Certainly a warner came to us, but we denied him and said, "Allah never revealed anything, you have greatly erred."’ And they will say, ‘If we only listened, or used reason, we would not be among the inhabitants of the blazing fire."" (The Qur’an 67:8-10).

The Messengers were men, descendants of Adam (peace be upon him). None of them possessed the qualities of divinity that would warrant worshipping them, (as nothing is worthy of worship but Allah) "Their Messengers said to them, ‘We are no more than human beings like yourselves...’" (The Quran 14:11), and Allah told Muhammad to, "Say: I am but a human being like yourselves; it has been revealed to me that your god is one God." (The Quran 41:6) and "Say: Glory be to my Lord! Am I anything but a human, a Messenger?" (The Quran 17:93).

It is an essential element of faith in Islam to believe in all of the Messengers, and that whosoever denied Muhammad, then he has denied all of the Messengers of Allah (peace be upon them) and he, therefore, does not have faith in Allah: "And We have sent you (Muhammad) as a Messenger to Mankind..." (The Quran 5:79) and: "And Nuh’s people when they denied the Messengers..." (The Quran 25:37). Allah informs us that not only did the people of Nuh reject him (peace be upon him), but they rejected all of the Messengers, because they rejected the institution of Messengership altogether when they rejected Nuh.

There are no Prophets after Muhammad (peace be upon him): "...but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets." (The Quran 33:40).

5. Belief in the Hereafter

Among the six major elements of faith in orthodox Islam is the belief in the Hereafter.

The Last Hour and its Signs: There are many future events for the earth, foretold in the Quran and Traditions of Muhammad (peace be upon him). Among the major events is the arrival of the Dajjal, or the Great Liar, who will perform miracles so tremendous that most people will believe that he is God. A great righteous leader known as the Mahdi, who will wage war against the armies s of the Great Liar. However,the Great Liar will not be defeated until Jesus, son of Mary , return to the earth to slay him. Some of the other signs of the Last Hour are; the Beast of the Earth, the reappearance of Gog and Magog, and finally the sunrise from the west, after which faith will not longer be accepted from those who did not believe before these signs.

Life in the Grave: After death, each person will endure a real trial in his grave. About some who have passed away, the Almighty One says: "The Fire: they are exposed to it morning and afternoon..." (The Quran 40:46). Allah’s Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The grave is either a garden from the gardens of Paradise, or it is a pit from the pits of Hell."

The First Blowing of the Trumpet: After the duration of the earth’s existence has ended, Allah will command the angel Israfeel to blow the Trumpet. Upon the first blowing, all of the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth will fall unconscious, except for those whom Allah wills otherwise. Then the earth will be flattened and the mountain ranges will be turned into floating sand dunes. Then, Allah will command the skies to pour rain for a period of forty days. Then all people who ever lived will be resurrected from their graves. The process of resurrection begins with the reformation of each person’s vertebral column base. Reformation continues until each person is complete in his original earthly form.

The Second Blowing of the Trumpet: Allah will command Israfeel to blow the Trumpet for a second time, upon which all people who ever lived will rise from their graves. Those who had true faith in the Almighty One will say, "This is what the Most Merciful has promised , and the messengers spoke the truth!" (The Quran 36:53).

The Gathering: The angels will herd everyone, bare-foot to the place of Gathering. At the place of Gathering, the sun will be drawn near to the heads of the people and their sweat will engulf them. Some will be standing in sweat up to their ankles, some up to their knees or their chests, and still others will be submerged up to their necks in sweat. The depth of the sweat will be a result of the deeds which they performed during their earthly life.

The Shade of the Throne: Some people will be spared many from the sufferings on the Day of Resurrection under the shade of Allah’s Throne.

The Beginning of Judgment: When the conditions become unbearable for people, and their fear increases, they will ask Allah to allow the Messengers and the Prophet to intercede on their behalf and to save them from their distress. Each of the Prophets or Messenger will direct the people to the Prophet who came after them, until they come to Muhammad (peace be upon him). He will be granted the intercession, after which Allah will begin the Judgment.

The Scales upon which the deeds are weighed: The Scales will be erected, and everyone's deeds will be weighed. These Scales will be real with real pans. Allah, the Exalted and Glorified, will give the deeds of each creature a material existence. Good deeds will be placed in one an of the Scale, and evil deeds in another, as Allah has informed, "And We shall set up the Scales of Justice on the Day of Resurrection, then none shall be wronged in any matter. If the weight of a mustard seed exists, We shall manifest it..." (The Quran 21:47).

The Records of each person’s deeds: The weighing of deeds will be followed by a disclosure of each person ‘s record. The one who receives his record in his right hand will have an easy reckoning. He will return to his family gleaming with leisure. However, he who receives his record offered to him from behind his back, in his left hand, will wish only for death on that Day. He will be thrust into the Fire of Hell.

Judgment: Then Allah will Judge His creation. He will remind them of their good and evil deeds. All of what they did will be recorded, though they may have forgotten it, "Then to their Lord is their return, and He shall inform them of all that they used to do!" (The Quran 6:108). Allah’s Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Allah will bring His believing servant close to Him; put a veil over him; and present his deeds to him privately - making him acknowledge his sins. Allah will say to him, ‘Haven’t you done this on this particular day?’ The servant will acknowledge his sin and feel certain of destruction. The Allah will say, ‘I have covered your sins during your life, and today I forgive you.’" As for those who disbelieve in Allah, their deeds will be of no avail: "And We shall turn to whatever deeds they have done, and We shall render them scattered, floating dust particles." (The Qur’an 25:23). "The parable of those who disbelieve in their Lord is that their deeds are like ashes upon which the wind blows furiously on a stormy day; they will not benefit or all from what they have done." (The Quran 14:18). A disbeliever will receive the benefits from his good deeds in this life, so when he is resurrected on the Day of Judgment, he will find his book of good deeds to be blank.

The Pond of Allah’s Messenger: The Pond of Allah’s Messenger will be the largest body of water; its water will be sweeter than honey and whiter than milk; it will be equipped with drinking utensils as numerous as the stars, to accommodate its large number of visitors. The length and width of this Pond will be the distance of a month’s journey each way, and anyone who drinks once from this Pond shall never thirst again.

The Bridge that extends over Hell: The Bridge will be extended over the length of the Fire of Hell, reaching Paradise. Allah’s Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) has described it as thinner than a hair and sharper than a sword. People will pass over the Bridge at different speeds according to their deeds; some at the blinking of an eye, some at the speed of quick running horses, others as running camels, while others will cross at a normal walking pace. There will also be some who can barely crawl over it. They will be grabbed by iron hooks and thrust into the Fire of Hell. He who crosses the Bridge shall be at the threshold of Paradise.

The Plateau between Paradise and Hell: Those who cross the Bridge will be assembled at a place between Paradise and Hell. Here their mutual debts will be settled until they are all accounted for. Then, they will be permitted to enter the Garden of Paradise.

The Intercession granted to the Prophets and the Righteous: The Door of Paradise will first be opened for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): "I will be the leader of the children of Adam on the Day of Judgment, though I do not boast of it. I will be the first to be resurrected from the grave, though I do not boast of it. I will be the first to turn the handle of the Door to Paradise, entering it along with the poor of my nation." Allah will only allow intercession form those to whom He grants it. The first to intercede is Allah’s Final Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him). His first intercession shall take place at the place of the Gathering, where he intercedes for the Judgment to begin. This is the Great Intercession that Allah has saved for him. The second form of intercession granted to Allah’s Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) will be to gain permission from Allah for the people of Paradise to enter it. They will not enter Paradise until he has interceded for that. Among the forms of intercession that other Prophets share with the Last Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) is to save some people from Hell who are about to enter it, and to take out of it some people who have already entered it.

The Eternal Hell Fire: Hell is a pale of unending torture, existing now, prepared for the arrogant who reject faith in the Almighty, as well as those sinners who do not repent. If one were to love in the Fire of Hell for only an instant, he would experience in that instant, more pain, suffering and torture than he could ever imagine. Allah warns His creatures, "Therefore I have warned you of the Flaming Fire." (The Quran 92:14). It is a fire that is incomparable to the fire of this life. Hell is referred to by Allah as: The Hell-fire, the unfathomably deep Pit, the fierce blazing Abyss, a place where the bodies and souls are melted, unceasingly burning, and the consuming Pit."...Scorching wind and scalding water and a shadow of black smoke, neither cool nor refreshing..." (The Quran 56:41-45) and: " Indeed it throws up sparks (as huge) as castles." (The Qur’an 77:32) The people of Hell are given: "...Boiling water to drink, which lacerates their bowels." (The Quran 47:15) "And if they ask for showers, they will be showered with water like molten lead which burns their faces..." (The Quran 18:29).

The Eternal Paradise: Now existing, Paradise is prepared for those who serve Allah alone, and who are repentant. It is, what no eye has seen and no ear has heard and that which has never occurred in a human heart. In it are, "Gardens of perpetual bliss - they shall enter them, as well as the righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. And angels shall enter upon them from every gate." (The Quran 13:23) "...For the righteous is a beautiful place of final return - gardens of eternity, whose doors will always be open." (The Quran 38:49-50) "In it are rivers of water, incorruptible; rivers of wine, delicious to those who drink; and rivers of honey, pure and clear, In it, there are for them all kinds of fruits, and forgiveness from their Lord." (The Quran 47:15) Allah has mentioned many other things about Paradise, but most importantly, it is never ending; and it will be for those whom Allah addresses saying, "I shall cause my favor to descend upon you, after which I shall never be displeased with you." And that is the greatest achievement.

6. BELIEF IN THE DIVINE WILL

The last of the six major elements of faith in Islam is the belief in the Divine Will. The Divine Will encompasses all things and events that occur, whether they be good or evil. Belief in the Divine Will is not complete unless it contains the following elements:

Belief that Allah’s Knowledge is all inclusive and Complete, that He is most aware of every creature’s qualities and innermost feelings, of the results of their actions, as well as what action they will perform before they perform them, and what actions they may have performed had He willed them to perform otherwise. He is aware of all of this without burden, and there is no contradiction between His encompassing Will and the free will and choice of the creatures.

"He is fully aware of you when He brings you into being out of dust, and when you are still in your mothers’ wombs." (The Quran 53:32) and "...so that you may come to know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah encompasses all things with His Knowledge." (The Quran 65:12)

Allah has recorded every event that will ever occur. He has referred to the Preserved Tablet, upon which the happenings of all of creation are inscribed,

"Know you not that Allah knows all that is in the heavens and on the earth? Indeed it is (all) in the Book." (The Quran 22:70)

Paramount to belief that Allah predestined the outcome of all creatures, is the following Tradition of Allah’s Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him):

"The first thing which Allah created was the Pen. Then He commanded it to write. The Pen asked; ‘My Lord! What shall I write?’ He said, ‘Write the measure of each thing until the (final) Hour."

Allah’s Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) said,

"...Whatever befalls you could never have passed you by, and whatever has missed you could never have befallen you. The pens have been raised and the scrolls have dried."

All thing that occur do so according to the Divine Plan. "Did you not know that Allah knows (all) that is in the heavens and the earth? It is (all) in a record. Surely that is easy for Allah." (The Quran 22:70)

"No calamity befalls on the earth or in yourselves but it is inscribed in a Book before We bring it into existence. Surely, that is easy for Allah." (The Qur’an 57:22)

The Divine Will is both detailed and general, as for the details, Allah’s Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) described the fetus in the womb and said,

"...He (Allah) sends an angel to it and commands it to write four words: his sustenance, life span, actions, and whether he will be blessed or wretched."

Whatever Allah wills, then it shall be.

"Truly, when He intends a thing, His command is ‘Be’, and it is!" (The Quran 36:82).

His Wisdom is unique in that it may not be understandable to human intellect. So we believe that He allows evil and disobedience even though He encourages good from His creatures. It is only due to His Wisdom, not a frustration of His Will, that one will disobey and commit evil acts.

Allah created all things, be they matter or events,

"Allah has created you and what you do." (The Quran 37:96)

"All praise is due to Allah, who created the heavens and the earth, the brought into being deep darkness as well as light." (The Quran 6:1)

"O mankind! Fear your Lord who created you from a single person (Adam), and out of him He created his mate (Eve), and out of the two, scattered a multitude of men and women." (The Quran 4:1)

Human beings have some control over their actions and they have a limited type of will. The Will of Allah is not frustrated by the fact that He gave humans the freedom to choose.

"...To whomever of you wills to follow the Straight Path. But you have no will unless Allah, the Lord of the Universe, so wills." (The Quran 81:28-9)

Allah’s Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) said,

"He who is from the successful, then the deeds of the successful are made easy for him."

"May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon You"

THE BELIEF IN ALLAHThe Pillars of faith, six in total, must be based on a very sound foundation of knowledge; and what is a more solid foundation than the Last of Divine revelations: the Quran and the inspired saying of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The first among the six major elements of faith in orthodox Islam the belief in Allah, the one and only true God.

Allah, has revealed to His Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) that: He is Alone, He is the One who is turned to in repentance, ever Eternal and Perfect, absolutely faultless. He did not give birth, nor was He born. There is no valid deity other than Him. (The term deity implies a worshiped object; so there is no one worthy of worship except for Him, even though many people worship others.) He is Alive, Ever-Living; He Sustains and Protects all that exists. He does not tire or become weary; He is the Owner and complete Sovereign of all.

His Knowledge encompasses everything; and He is completely Knowledgeable about a thing even before He creates it, knowing the how of the thing and all of its conditions and stipulations, including its duration of existence. He has complete control over everything and nothing happens except by His Permission. His Footstool extends over the heavens and the earth; His Throne is over His Footstool; and He is Above His Throne. He is the High and the Mighty.

He is the First, the Last, the Highest, the Nearest, and the Knower of all things. He is Ever-Living, without end. He is the Wise, the Well Acquainted. With Him are the keys to all knowledge beyond human reach, and none knows them except Him. Nothing happens at all except that He has written it in a Clear Book. He is Capable of everything. He is the Possessor of Strength, the Unbreakable. He Has no likeness. He is the Hearing and the Seeing, always. He Loves the doer of good, the just, the upright, and the pious. He Loves the repentant and those who purify themselves. He Loves those who fight for His Cause. He Loves those who Follow His Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him). He is the Forgiving, the Loving, and the Loved.

He is the Merciful, the Mercy-Giver. He has encompassed everything with His Mercy and He is Ever-Merciful with the Believers. He has prescribed mercy for Himself; He is the Coverer of sins, the Best Protector, and Most Merciful to those who show Mercy.

He is Pleased with the Believers, and they will be the inhabitants of His Paradise. He is Angry with whomever kills a faithful believer intentionally, and He curses him. He takes Vengeance on those whom He is angry with, and He punishes them. He dislikes and considers some things hateful, like the act of enjoining a thing which one does not do.

He will come, and He will arrive on the Day of Judgment in a manner that befits His Majesty. He Descends to the lowest heaven at the last third of the night answering the calls of his supplicants. He is the Possessor of Majesty and Generosity, and His Face is Everlasting. He is the Lord.

He is the Best Plotter, the Best Planner. Others may plan or plot, but His is the way that will be. He is Pardoning, Capable. He is the Might. He is Unique; the Possessor of Majesty and Nobility. He is without namesake, equal, rival, partner, son, daughter, offspring. He is the Creator of everything and He has measured all.

He speaks, and narrates, and He spoke directly to Moses (peace be upon him). He has sent the Qur’an whose words are His. He is happy with the true repentance of the faithful believer. He will Speak to His servants directly, on the Day of Resurrection, and in the Hereafter, He will be seen by the believers whom He grants this blessing to.

Belief in Allah also implies singling out Allah alone in worship and in all of the characteristics which have been mentioned in this booklet. The opposite of this is associating god with Allah. Association (shirk) is the gravest sin - it is a sin which Allah has stated He will not forgive. Likewise, denying any of the attributes of Allah is a heretical act of disbelief which may lead one to become an apostate. Belief in Allah necessitates believing in all that He has claimed about Himself, praise be to Him.
BELIEF IN THE ANGELS
The angels are usually hidden from the senses of man, though sometimes they may be visible. Their existence is recognizable through reason, and it is proven by Divine Revelation. The following are some of the many characteristics of the angels:

Angels are shy and behave modestly; similar to people, they become annoyed by that which they dislike (like foul odors etc.). They flock to those who remember Allah and worship Him alone. Angels are created from light; they are free of the weaknesses of the flesh from which humans suffer, such as hunger, disease, illness, slumber, exhaustion, etc.,

"They celebrate His praises night and day, without exhaustion." (The Quran 21:20)

However, at the end of time, even the angels will pass away:

"And the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon away, except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown a second time and behold, they will be standing, looking on (waiting)." (The Quran 39:68)
Angels are in awe with their Lord, as Allah mentions in the Quran:

"And to Allah prostrate all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth of living creatures and the angels, and they (angels) are humble, fearing their Lord above them and they do as they are commanded." (The Qur’an 16:49-50)

"They cannot intercede except for him whom He is pleased. And they stand with awe in fear of Him." (The Quran 21:28)

The angels never disobey Allah: "Who disobey not the commands they receive from Allah, but do that which they are commanded." (The Quran 66:6)

"They are but honored servants; they speak not until He has spoken; and they act by His command." (The Quran 21:26-27)

Angels possess the ability to love and to show love. They supplicate to their Lord:

"Those who bear the Throne and those around it celebrate the praises of their Lord, and believe in Him, and ask for forgiveness for those who believe (They say): ‘Our Lord, you comprehend all thing in Your Mercy and Knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your way and save them from the torment of the blazing Fire.’" (The Qur’an 40:77).

They cures whomever their Lord curses, as He said:

"Indeed those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelieves, for them is the curse of Allah and the angels and humanity combine." (The Quran 2:161-162)

The angels are great in their stature, some are larger than others:

"All praise is Allah's, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, the Maker of the angels - messengers flying on wings: two, three, and four. He increases in the creation what He will. Surely, Allah Has power over all things." (The Quran 35:1)

Certain angels are assigned specific functions; for example, Jibreel (Gabriel) is entrusted with delivering Allah’s Revelation to the Prophets and Messengers (peace be upon them). Mikaeel (Michael) is in charge of rain and plantation, Israfeel is in charge of blowing the Trumpet at the time of Resurrection, and Malik is the Keeper of Hell.

Some of the angels have specific tasks, but their names may be unknown, such as the one who takes the soul at the time of death. Some are in charge of them embryo in the mother's womb, others are responsible for protecting the human beings, and still others record their deeds:

"When the two angels receive (his deed), one sitting on the right and one on the left, he utters not a word but an observer is near him." (The Quran 50:18)

Two angels come to each person in his grave and ask him about his Lord, his religion, and his prophet.
Belief in the Divine Revelations
Allah has guided and helped the human race in many ways. One of these ways was to reveal a books containing the laws prescribed for a particular people though their Prophets. Each of the Prophets who received a divinely revealed Book also received a wisdom enable them to explain and teach their people how to best implement the divinely revealed Books.

These Books explain to the people that Allah was the only one worthy of worship, and that true success in this life and the Hereafter would only be reached by worshiping Him alone, without any partners or associates. They explained laws and codes for the people to follow; they informed of life in the Hereafter, giving glad tidings to those who obeyed the Messengers, and warning of severe punishment for those who rejected their guidance.

We learn that Ibrahim (Abraham, peace be upon him) received Divine Book as well as the wisdom: "But We had already given the house of Ibrahim the Book and the Wisdom, and conferred upon them a great kingdom." (The Quran 4:54) . Today, the most famous among the Prophets are those whom Allah sent to the Israelites: "And We bestowed upon him (Ibrahim) Ishaq and Yaqub (Isaac and Jacob) and ordained among his offspring Prophet hood and Revelation..." (The Qur’an 29:27)

From this lineage of Prophets, we are aware of the following Books: the Suhuf (Scrolls) revealed to Ibrahim (Abraham), the Zaboor revealed to Dawud (David), the Tawrah (Torah) revealed to Musa (Moses), the Injeel (Gospel) revealed to Isa (Jesus), and the Qur’an revealed to Muhammad, whose lineage traces back to Abraham through Ismael (peace be upon them all).

Though there were many Prophets and Messengers sent to mankind, a relatively small number of them have been mentioned to us by name. These Prophets and their Books are to be believed in, although today humanity does not posses the actual Books that the Prophet received from Allah nor the advice that each Prophet gave to his followers.

For example, we know that the Torah was altered through time. This fact is easily accessible to all who dire to find it: "Indeed We did reveal the Torah, therein was guidance and light, by which the Prophet’s, who surrendered to Allah's Will, judged the Jews; and the Rabbis and the Priests (who judged also), for to them was entrusted the protections of Allah's Book, and they wee witness to it; therefore fear not men but fear Me and sell not My Signs for a miserable price. And who-so-ever odes not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are disbelievers." (The Qur’an 5:44) and: "Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say, ‘This is from Allah’, to earn for it a cheap price! Woe to them for what their hands have written..." (The Qur’an 2:79) and: "But the transgressors changed the word from that which was sent to them to another, so We sent a wrath form the heavens upon the wrongdoers..." (The Qur’an 2:59).
Similarly, though we believe in the Injeel (Gospel) that was revealed to Jesus (peace be upon him), we know that it and some of the wisdom that Allah revealed to him have been confused and lost to the extent that today people worship him. "And (remember) when Allah will say, ‘O Jesus, son of Mary! Did you say to men, "Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah"? He will say, ‘Glory be to you! It was not my place to say what I had no right to say. If I said such a thing, You would surely have known it. You know what in my self though I know not what in Yours. Truly, You, only You are the All-Knower of the unknown. I never said anything to them but You commanded me to say: "Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." And I was a witness over them only while I dwelt among them, but when You took me away, You were a watcher over them, and You are witness to all things.’" (The Qur’an 4:116-7)

The Last Revelation The Qur’an is the Last of the Revealed Books. It is preserved in the exact original form that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) uttered. This is a fact attested to by the majority of scholars and historians. The following are some important facts about the Qur’an:

Allah's Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) who was not able to read and write, received the first revelation from the Qur’an in the Cave of Hira in the year 610.
- The Qur’an was revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him) in sections - some large than others- delivered by the Angel Jibreel (Gabriel, peace be upon him) over a twenty-two year period.
- The revealed portion were immediately memorized and written on parchment and stone under the supervision of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
- The Qur’an was collected into one book only after the passing of Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him). Abu Bakr, the first Caliph, who live only two years longer than Allah's Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him), had the Quran compiled in book-form during his own life.

Prohibition of Listening to Backbiting

Abud-Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (PBUH) said, "He who defends the honour of his (Muslim) brother, Allah will secure his face against the Fire on the Day of Resurrection."[At-Tirmidhi].
Commentary:

If someone says something disgraceful against a Muslim, one must defend his Muslim brother (or sister, for that matter) and say that what has been stated about him or her is wrong and that he (or she) is free from the accusation made against him (or her).

7 Things Your Muslim Husband Wont Tell You

1. Above All, He Desires Your Respect

In Islam, men are taught from a young age that they are supposed to be the bread-winners and caretakers of their families.

You can imagine how frustrating it would be for a man, who tries his best to care for his family, to be married to a woman who may not respect him. She may declare that she loves him, but without her respect, he will quickly fall out of love with her.

This idea is put forward in the Quran where Allah says:

Men are in charge of women by what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband] absence what Allah would have them guard.

Chapter 4, Verse 34

Sisters , if you fear there is a problem in your marriage ,I would suggest you start here.

2. He Desires Your Loyalty

This goes hand in hand with respect.There is nothing that will ruin a marriage quicker than the idea that your spouse is not loyal. The idea, that he or she is not going to stick by you.

I am not talking about infidelity. This is what usually comes to mind when people talk about loyalty in a marriage.

What I am talking about is knowing that the person whom you have chosen to spend the rest of your life with is going to be there for you when you really need them.

Most men will not admit it, but they do need women.
And we do need your support.

And it is very troubling to be married to a woman who may not be around when the going gets tough.

If you are constantly threatening divorce or separation or Khula (Islamic divorce initiated by the wife), you can expect your marriage to fizzle out very quickly.

Your husband needs to know that you are going to be by his side if:

He loses his job and the money gets tight.
He tries to do something (like start a business or go back to school) but fails at it.
His reputation is tarnished or his honor is attacked.

If you’re loyal to your husband, than rest assured he will be loyal to you.

3. He Wants To Have Love More Often

Lets get this right out into the open.

Some women might think men are narrow-minded brutes for this, but its the truth.

Men desire love. Men really desire love.

So when you give him the following excuses:

“I got a headache.”
“I am not feeling good.”
“Cant it wait till the weekend? I am really not in the mood.”

Know that your husband is going to go to sleep a little upset with you, even if he does not show it.

And do this often enough, he is going to start resenting you. And that resentment will build up and may lead to him being unnecessarily mean to you or losing some love.

When a man calls his wife to his bed, and she does not respond and he (the husband) spends the night angry with her, the angels curse her until morning.

Something to think about.

4. He Thinks About Other Women

Okay, first of all, calm down. Let me explain this.

Most men think about other women.

It does not mean he is going to cheat on you.

It does not mean he is thinking about taking a second wife.

It does not mean he is fantasizing about another woman.

It just means that all (straight) men do, at some point in their lives, consider having another woman (i.e. wife).

The best way to combat these thoughts are to apply the advice given in the first three secrets:

Respect him.
Be loyal to him.
Give him physical love when he wants it.

5. He Wants To Make You Happy

Why do you think men work so hard to make money?

Why do you think men are willing to leave their jobs and risk starting a business?

Why do you think men like buying women gifts?

Because deep down, we really just want to make you happy.

Sometimes we screw it up and forget our anniversary.
But we really would prefer to remember because we know it would make you happy.

So when your husband buys you a gift, accept it, rejoice over it, thank him profusely, and use it as often as possible.

If he buys you some jewelry, wear it.

If he buys you a new smartphone, use it.

And dont be so quick to nag him about the things he doesnt do right. Because then he will start feeling that you do not respect (theres that word again) the things he does do for you.

6. If You Nudge Him, He Can Be A Better Muslim

Nobodys perfect.

Perhaps your husband isnt a Muslim scholar. Perhaps hes not the best Muslim in the world.

You can nudge him to make him better. But you cant force him.

Do little things to get him to improve his Islam.

Offer to wake him up for Salaatul Fajr.
Encourage him to make Salah at the Masjid.
Tell him how much nicer he would look if he grew his beard.

This takes deliberate words, a soft touch, and careful action. No one likes to be preached to.

But if you do this right, you’ll be getting a double reward:

The reward that comes with living with a righteous husband. And the reward in the next life for encouraging your husband to the truth.

Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.

Chapter 103, Verse 3

7. He Loves You, Even If He Doesnt Always Show It

I know, this one may be kinda hard to swallow. But its true (usually).

Men are just not that good at showing emotion (unless we are talking sports or politics).

We dont tell our wives “I love you” often enough.

We are not perfect. And constantly comparing us to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) aint helping.

Of course, we are supposed to emulate him (pbuh) as much as we can. And for most of us, we are doing the best we can.

But we just cant treat you the same way he (pbuh) treated his wives. Similarly, it is unfair for men to expect their wives to behave like Aisha (RA) and his other wives (RA) did.

Just because your husband doesnt treat you in the way (you think) the Prophet (pbuh) treated his wives, doesnt mean your husband doesn’t love you.

It just means he is human.

It is very important that you understand this.

If he is doing his best to take care of you.
If he does not abuse you or sleep around.
If he sincerely tries to solve your problems and helps you in the best way he can.

Then chances are he loves you. A lot.

5 Simple Sunnahs You Ought To Be Doing

Are you ready to become a better Muslim? Do you think you can be a much better Muslim and a stronger believer than what you currently are?

If you’re ready to take your faith to the next level, then take a few minutes to ponder this hadith

Allah said: My servant does not draw nearer to Me with anything more beloved to me than with the obligatory actions (in Islam).

And My servant continues to draw near to me with voluntary acts so that I love him. When I love him, I am his hearing that he hears with, his seeing he sees with, his hand he strikes with and his foot he walks with.

Were he to ask of Me, I would surely give it to him and were he to seek refuge in Me, I will surely give him refuge.

Allah loves it when we fulfill the obligatory things He has ordained on us. These are things like:

    The five daily prayers.
    Fasting during the month of Ramadan.
    Paying the Zakah.
    Making Hajj at least once in a lifetime.
    Returning the greetings.
    Obeying the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).

This is not an exhuastive list. There are many other things that Allah has ordained upon us. And a Muslim who is trying to get closer to Allah will do his or her best to fulfill these obligations.

But we all go through our weak moments in faith. When these weak moments happen, we may slack off on these mandatory Islamic duties. That’s why we should also perform some voluntary (Sunnah) acts as well. That way, when we go through these weak moments, we’ll slack off on the voluntary acts and continue doing the mandatory ones.

With this in mind, here are 5 simple Sunnahs you can do that will, Inshallah, bring you closer to Allah.

It should go without saying that before we begin trying to implement these Sunnah acts, it is important that we are already doing all of the mandatory acts in Islam.

1. Doing Dhikr (remembrance) of Allah after the mandatory prayers.

The Messenger of Allah has recommended that we say:

Subhanallah (Glory to Allah) 33 times.
Alhamdulillah (Thanks and praise be to Allah) 33 times.
Allahu Akbar (Allah is greater) 33 times.

2. Making two Rakah (units) of prayer before Salaatul Fajr (the Dawn prayer).

It is actually highly recommended that we make two rakat before the Dawn prayer. The following hadith confirms the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to make this prayer also.

What is your opinion about the two Rakat before the Fajr (compulsory) prayer, as to prolonging the recitation in them?” He said, “The Prophet (p.b.u.h) used to pray at night two Rakat followed by two and so on, and end the prayer by one Raka Witr. He used to offer two Rakat before the Fajr prayer immediately after the Adhan.

This prayer can be very quick and light. And since it’s only two rakat, it is very easy to begin this practice.

3. Return the Salaam (greetings) with something greater.

As mentioned above, it is mandatory to return the greetings of peace in Islam. So when someone says “As-Salaamu Alaikum,” you must reply “Wa Alaikum Salaam.”

But that is the minimum. It is better if we go a step beyond that. So you can return the greetings by saying “Wa Alaikum As-Salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.”

This is a very easy action to do that spreads love amongst the Muslims and only takes a few seconds.

4. Clipping the fingernails

Keeping your fingernails short and neat is general cleanliness. Even many non-Muslims do their best to maintain short, clean fingernails. So it is even more incumbent for us Muslims to practice this simple sunnah.

You should clip your fingernails every two weeks, and at the very most, once every forty days. Like the other actions listed above, this is a simple act that only takes a few minutes and doesn’t have to be done often.

5. Say Bismillah before eating.

Eating is something we do every day. In fact, we often eat several times a day. It is such an easy thing to simply recite the name of Allah before eating and gain a few extra blessings.

Therefore, before you start to eat any meal, even if it’s just a date, say ‘Bismillah” (in the Name of Allah). The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to do this all the time and it doesn’t take much work. This is such a simple act, that we have no excuse not do it.

There are many more really simple sunnahs (traditions) of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that we can work into our daily lives. There are also some that may be a little more difficult. The important thing is to do the ones that are easy for you and stick with them.

Inshallah, with time you’ll be able to move towards the more difficult sunnahs.

Replying Jazak Allahua Khayran

As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

Saying "Jazak Allahu khayran" ("May Allah reward you generously") is established from the sunnah of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (pbuh).

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, "If good is done to someone and then they say "Jazak Allahu khayran" to the one who did the good, they have indeed praised them well." [Tirmidhi]

What should one reply if someone says Jazak Allahu khayran to him?

There is a hadeeth in Saheeh Ibn Hibbaan in which the Sahaabi said Jazak Allahu Khyran to the Messenger (pbuh) and in reply he said
And you too, May Allah reward to with Khayr.
The Hadeeth is narrated by Usayd Ibn Hudair
wa iyyaka wa jazaka
“And you as well” (wa iyyaka) or “And may He reward you.” (wa jazaka)

Or we can also reply using ,,,,"wa anta fajazakallahu khaira".

When two or more companions said to the holy prophet (sallallahu alyhi wa sallam) jazak Allahu khair - the holy prophet replied
"wa antum fajazakumullahu khaira".

The word wa-iyyaakum has the same meaning and is the shorter version of wa-antum-fajazakumullahu-khair. Not a big deal though, but it is always better to use the words that are transmitted in sunnah than words that we invent.

The correct way of saying May Allah reward you with good in different grammatical forms, i.e. to a man, woman, group etc.:

To a male: Jazak Allahu khayran
To a female: Jazaki-llahu khayran

To two people (whether male/female): Jazakuma Allahu khayran

To three men or more: Jazakum Allahu khayran
To three women or more: Jazakumunna-llaahu khayran

Status of Smoking in Islam:

Most of the Muslims thinks that Smoking is Makrooh and its not Haraam (Prohibited). Let's discuss few things of Smoking. Smoking is nothing but a slow Poising. It contains Nicotine and Tar. It’s a clear waring on Cigarette packets that "Smoking is Injurious to Health".

REFLECTION:
If you see cigarette to b HALAAL (PERMITTED) then why don't you say 'BISMILLAH' before smoking it
and 'ALHAMDULILAH' after smoking ?If you see cigarette to b Mercy from Allah, why do u turn it off with your shoes? If you see cigarette normal, then why do you not smoke it in front of your parents/elders ? If you see cigarette so much fun, then why do you not teach your kids how to use it ?

SMOKING
Smoking has become familiar in our youths – be it male or female. Our young generations feel proud in smoking and thinks it adds another feather to their style.

But smoking has various side-effects. It not only terminates your body but it also affects your social life too. It is like throwing yourself into destruction and God Almighty prohibits indulging in these kinds of activities in the Glorious Quran, which says:“And do not throw yourself unto destruction” [Surah Baqarah (2):195.]

There are various diseases caused by smoking like: Emphysema, Bronchitis, Chronic, instructive Pulmonary,Coronary artery, Peripheral artery disease, Colo rectal cancer,Liver cancer,Prostate cancer, Erectile dysfunction in men, Stomach cancer, Bladder and kidney cancer, Abdominal aortic aneurysm, Acute myelitis leukemia, Cataracts, Cervical cancer, Kidney cancer, Pancreatic cancer, Periodontists, Pneumonia, Cancers of the larynx and mouth, Lung cancer. Majority of the diseases are irreversible – once affected never comes to the normal condition.

Smoking also contributes to conditions, such as: Hip fractures due to reduced bone density, Complications from diabetes as a result of peripheral vascular disease, higher incidence of post-surgical wound infections, reproductive complications, such as problems conceiving.

Smoking also affects your surroundings –
the people around you and the environment. Even there are chances of the diseases for passive smokers (who inhale smoke from the smoker). Some people have developed cancer related to smoking who have never smoked before. These cases can possibly have a relationship to environmental causes and heredity. Because of you smoking others are also suffering. So quitting smoking gives healthy life to your coming generation. At least by thinking of others you should quit smoking. It even hurts the family members because of the diseases and the consequences you face of smoking. Also it Blackens your lips , gums your finger tips, lips, stomach. Sexual power gets suppress. Reduces defense of your body.

Islam does not give permission to Harm Others:

In Islam one cannot Harm your Neighbor and other people, when we expel smoke out it causes more harm to others. Passive smoking is more danger than active smoking. Hence it is also ban to smoke on public places. As per the research Wife of the Chain Smokers have more chances of Lung Cancer.

The smoker doesn’t even realize the smell of smoking around him. There will be smell of smoking around him, on his hair, clothes, bed on which he sleep, his room and other things which he usually use. And the smell last longer even after quitting.

Prevention is better than cure:

The best way to avoid developing these conditions and diseases is to stop smoking. You can enjoy immediate benefits by stopping smoking right now. You can see various developments in your body and hence you will be fit – physical and mental too. Your body begins to go through changes the moment you smoke your last cigarette like: reduction in heart rate, blood pressure, as well as reduced risk of cancer, heart attack, and stroke. These changes continue as long as you don't smoke.

Other benefits include: increased sense of smell and taste, wounds heal faster than before, eradication of smoking-smell around you, physical and mental fitness, etc.

Smoking is nothing but “Burning of Money” and wastage of money is not allowed in Islam.

Allah says in Glorious Quraan: And do not throw yourself unto destruction” [Surah Baqarah (2):195.]
On this verse of the Glorious Quraan there are more than 400 Fatawas including the Scholars of Saudi Arabia that Smoking and All types of Tobacco whether its a Bidi, Hukka etc. is Haraam its Prohibited in Islam.

Also our Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: A man cannot move his legs on the day of Judgement until he clear 5 Questions out of which is, from where you earn the money ( legally or illegally) and where you have spend the Money.
On the day of Judgment we cannot say to our Creator Allah that I smoke out of your given money.

Also smoking is against the purpose of fasting including Taqwaa.
Allah says: O you who believe! Observing As-Sawm (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqoon (pious)
[Surah Al-Baqarah 2:183]

If a person is Abstain from Tobacco and other Bad Things from Suhoor till Iftaar it will be very easy for him to leave them.

Smoking breaks the fast, and it cannot be used as an excuse not to fast. How can a sin be taken as an excuse?!

Brothers this is the best time to change our self and to change the world. We are running towards the death, we dont know when we will Die. Lets repent to our Lord and ask him for forgiveness and lets make a Niyat (Intention) that we will leave smoking and other bad things and we will speak against them as it’s against the commandment of our Creator ALLAH.

Allah says: You are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right,
forbidding what is wrong and believing in Allah.

Seeking Refuge with Allah - Tafsir Ibn Kathir - Surah Fatihah

"Authu Billahi min-ash Shaytani Rajim"
(I seek refuge with Allah from the cursed Satan)

"I seek refuge with Allah from the cursed Satan so that he is prevented from affecting my religious or worldly affairs, or hindering me from adhering to what I was commanded, or luring me into what I was prohibited from.

Indeed, only Allah is able to prevent the evil of Satan from touching the son of Adam. This is why Allah allowed us to be lenient and kind with the human devil, so that his soft nature might cause him to refrain from the evil he is indulging in.

However, Allah required us to seek refuge with Him from the evil of Satan, because he (satan) neither accepts bribes nor does kindness affect him, for he is pure evil. Thus, only He Who created Satan is able to stop his evil.

This meaning is reiterated in only three Ayat in the Quran. Allah said in Surat Al-Araf:

"Show forgiveness, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the foolish (i.e. dont punish them)." [Noble Quran 7:199]

This is about dealing with human beings. He then said in the same Surah:

"And if an evil whisper comes to you from Shaytan, then seek refuge with Allah. Verily, He is Hearing, Knowing" [Noble Quran 7:200]

Allah also said in Surat Al-Muminun:
"Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! Lest they should come near me. [Noble Quran 23:96-98]

Further, Allah said in Surat As-Sajdah:
"The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better, then verily he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend. But none is granted it (the above quality) except those who are patient and none is granted it except the owner of the great portion (of happiness in the Hereafter, i.e. Paradise and of a high moral character) in this world. And if an evil whisper from Shaytan tries to turn you away (from doing good), then seek refuge in Allah. Verily, He is the Hearing, the Knowing" [Noble Quran 41:34-36]

The Tafsir of Istiadthah (seeking Refuge)

These are the only three Ayat that carry this meaning. Allah commanded that we be lenient human enemy, so that his soft nature might make him an ally and a supporter. He also commanded that we seek refuge from the satanic enemy, because the devil does not relent in his enmity if we treat him with kindness and leniency. The devil only seeks the destruction of the Son of Adam due to the vicious enmity and hatred he has always had towards mans father, Adam. Allah said:

"O Children of Adam! Let not Shaytan deceive you, as he got your parents (Adam and Hawa (Eve) (out of Paradise)" [Noble Quran 7:27]

"Surely, Shaytan is an enemy to you, so take (treat) him as an enemy. He only invites his Hizb (followers) that they may become the dwellers of the blazing Fire"
[Noble Quran 35:6]

And,

"Will you then take him (Iblis) and his offspring as protectors and helpers rather than Me while they are enemies to you What an evil is the exchange for the Dthalimun (polytheists, and wrongdoers, etc)" [Noble Quran 18:50]

The devil assured Adam that he wanted to advise him, but he was lying. Hence, how would he treat us after he had vowed:

"By Your might, then I will surely, mislead them all. Except Your chosen servants among them (i.e. faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." [Noble Quran 38:82-83]

Also, Allah said:

"(So when you) want to recite the Quran, seek refuge with Allah from Shaytan, the outcast (the cursed one). Verily, he has no power over those who believe and put their trust only in their Lord (Allah). His power is only over those who obey and follow him (Satan), and those who join partners with Him." [Noble Quran 16:98-100]

Pergh.....!! This book is full with the info and references. I haven't finished reading it yet. Got to find the best time to read it, not to make an excuse, need to find the moment to read so that it will stuck to my brain and not just an empty reading. Very-very detail. I kinda need a break, it's a little bit confusing, but my instinct is telling me to read, read, read ... if i can finished this, it's kinda personal achievement, 550 pages. As for the moment, I know that Zulkarnain was not Alexander the Great. Zulkarnain is the title of the young man which is told in Surah Al-Kahfi from the Holy Quran. Zulkarnain means 'who has / wears two horns head', it refers to a nobleman who wears the crown, and until now have 3 candidates of Zulkarnain; Alexander the Great, Cyrus the Great and the Egyptian king, Akhenaton. Author's many references, most of the Al-Quran, Jewish books such as the Babylonian Talmud, Indonesia's latest edition of Bible, books & writings by Flavius Josephus (a Jew who lived during the time of the Roman empire, which is the author of events / history, is one of the reason the Jews still exist in our world. In the year 70 AD, the Romans capture all the descendants of the Jews and crucified until no more logs across the Roman government, because Jewish leftists, rebelled and burned half of the Roman government. Flavius was excused because he was considered part of the Romans [descendant of Rome], he managed to rescue 190 men women and children Jewish.).

I've already see the differences narrative of Al-Quran & Jewish Books, which has been manipulated by the Kafirun. The story of Zulkarnain and Gog and Magog stands by themselves in their books, but they were surprised when told by the Prophet Muhammad that Zulkarnain & Gog and Magog was in a clash, that they were involved in one story. This is one of the questions posed to the Prophet by the Quraish disbelieved who went to the Jewish rabbis at that time. They have to know if all three questions they submit via the Quraish disbelieved answered correctly, comes the one true prophet, Muhammad SAW.

Many of deviations made by the Jews, they change all the copies of their books to their interests. They also accuse the Prophet Muhammad SAW were exploiting stories in the Bible, the Torah, Psalms and the books of others in the Al-Quran. I just read +/- 100 more pages, thanked to Allah SWT, i've gain so much knowledge. Wait for stories from this book or if you wanted to find out yourself, get a copy.

Update Your N73 To N73 Music Edition & Change Product Code Using Nemesis Service Suite (NSS)

Did you know that you can upgrade your old or early version of Nokia N73 to the new N73 Music Edition? Well here's the tip. Maybe you also want to remove your operator interface such as TIMs, T-Mobile, O2, Orange or any other operator that you have contract with. All can be done with the same tip that i about to post here.
Firstly, you need Nemesis Service Suite (NSS). To download click here. I'm gonna show you all step by step on how to install NSS. But, I want to apologise first for not using any phone to really show how NSS works. But, I guaranty this will work sinced I've done this procedure very often. Okay, let move on.
1.After you have downloaded NSS, extract to you defined folder and double click to start installation.

2.

All you need to do is just follow the arrow sign. Click on 'Next'.

3.Choose any shortcut that appropriate to you.

4.Choose 'Virtual USB Device', as you only need this to go with. Other option are for advanced users, i.e: technician, phone software programmer.

And, walla.... finish installation. click no on 'NSS Driver Installation'.

You all will have this icon on your screen.

How To Use It?
Actually it takes less than 10 minutes to use it, depends on your connectivity cable provided by Nokia or the clone ones. I suggest the provided one. Better keep it handy to have two cables. Before we go through this process please backup your phone data, i.e: contact, sms, gallery items. Not that we wanted something bad to happen, it can be unsuspected. An old Malays' say 'better to have umbrella before it rains'.
1. Click on the magnify glass icon to scan your device.

2. Then it will show this page.

3. Click on 'Phone Info'. Then click the button 'Scan' as it will scan for you phone info and display the info in the empty box and on the right panel.

4. Tick 'Enable' on the right box next to 'Product Serial Number' and click button 'Write'. NSS will write the new product code to you phones. If you feel you don't believe it, click on scan 1 more time, then maybe you'll believe it. Here are the product code that can be use to replace you old product codes. These product codes also define the language for you phones, so if there is language problem from previous product codes, this will solve it. Also this product codes are non-branded ones, as it will remove your operator setting from your phone. I know that T-Mobile always do that and it's ugly. Hehehehehehee no offense heh... please remember these codes are meant for N73 only, for other models you have to googled around for their product codes. I suggest you all to join GSM-Forum, under Nokia: BB5 section.

Supposed i have to make an appointment first, for MCRP. Then, have to wait within a week to do the procedure. The day i wrote the last post, i was told that i will go through the procedure on Monday.

Well, one week is a long wait. This morning the doctor told me if the amylase in my blood is down, they gonna discharge me off. So, i have to come back in a week to get through my appointment. But now, just about i want to get fork and spoon to dig in lunch that was sent to me by the attendant, they took it back and told me that i have to fast, they gonna do it this evening. The fish just look fine to me.... damn it... hahahahhaaaa.. but better still i can get through this once and for all. Wish me luck.

I'm sick in hospital with pancreatitis

Worst weekend for me to spend whole of it in the hospital ward. I never thought this could happen. But who knew's? Allah is Almighty... to test the courage of His followers....

It all started maybe two weeks ago, after spending most of the two week of school holiday with my wife family from Malacca. We ended up in Pangkor Island in Perak just for simple picnic. After came back, my gastric hit me back this quite strong that made me caught fever. I started the usual medication, never noticed that few symptoms had show up. My urine was thick in color, my stool was pale...
then on the 18th, 19th i got pounded up real bad in the stomach. i cried most of the night just to bare the pain. Midnight 20th i was warded till now. during the stay docs try to narrow down my complication. Today, the docs told me it is pancreatitis with jaundice. i did ultrasound on the 20th noon, but it could not detect so i will go with MRCP test on Monday. Wish me luck.
