Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 includes the U.S. Open, USGA Championship and USGA's Rules Of Golf tournaments for the first time, and a new "Tournament Challenge" mode that allows you to replicate famous shots and moments from the PGA Tour's history. Also of interest are the new courses that are available, including Turnberry and Oakmont.

Reviews have been as good as ever too, which is quite impressive – it's difficult to remember a time when a Tiger Woods game actually received unfavourable comments (though the experience and upgrade system in this one is a bit tiresome).

Rock Band: The Beatles has a soundtrack consisting of 45 tracks by the popular Liverpool band, and features virtual depictions of all four members performing the songs as you play along on the guitar, sing in time, and/or bang the drums.

Many further tracks will be available as downloadable content in the form of full albums – Abbey Road, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Rubber Soul being released so far (more may possibly appear in the future.

With a whole host of terrible games based on the franchise, not too much was expected from Transformers: War for Cybertron – which makes the fact that it's not only the best Transformers title in some time, but also a great third-person shooter in its own right, quite surprising.

Taking place prior to the Transformers: Prime animated series, when the Transformers still lived on Cybertron, the game has two distinct campaigns (one for the Decepticons and another for the Autobots). Also included are a range of online multiplayer modes, in which you control a customised Transformer of your own.

BioShock 2 £9.99

After following on from a fairly average original, there was a danger that Just Cause 2 might turn out to be yet another game that promises much but delivers little – thankfully, this is probably one of the best titles to be released in recent times.

Set on the other side of the world from Just Cause, on the fictional tropical island of Panau in Southeast Asia, you again play as Rico Rodriguez who is aiming to overthrow the evil dictator Pandak "Baby" Panay and confront his former boss Tom Sheldon.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope – International £14.95

With the creator of Final Fantasy (Hironobu Sakaguchi) behind it, you'd expect Lost Odyssey to be something of an epic – and you'd be right. The traditional turn-based battle system from earlier incarnations of Final Fantasy also returns, just to strike home how old-school this is in feel.

You take control of a character known as Kaim, who has lived for a thousand years but has no memory of his past. He doesn't even want to think about what might have happened, and struggles with the pain brought on when they start to return.

Lost Odyssey £9.95

SingStar: Take That does exactly what it say on the tin, by providing 25 of the group's greatest hits for you to sing along with – and if you're a little bit shy, another person can join in the "fun" (handy for times when you may have had one or two lemonades too many!).

Some of the tunes will be recognisable to near enough everybody, but it's worth pointing out that a handful are perhaps less common – though fans will have no problem with the lyrics…
