Mass Effect 3 PS3 Description

This PS3 game is likely to be the last edition of the Mass Effect series and BioWare have not disappointed as the game should excite PS3 owners and Mass Effect fans worldwide. 
The storyline in Mass Effect 3 sees yourself playing the part of the Commander Shepard who has control and overall authority of dealing with the invasion of the utterly freaky Aliens who are simply know as the Reapers. These horrible oddly looking reapers invade Earth and try to take it over and as you can imagine, being the last chapter in the series, there may well be unhappy endings as it's simply not possible for all to survive.
With your commanding position you hold you can instruct your squadmates to act accordingly and can either blast full on or you can take a softer approach to deal with the situation. With the many different planets you will be approaching in this PS3 game you will be experiencing a wide variety of the universe. As the commander in Mass Effect 3, you will see how the war will be conducted and need to survive the dangers that are thrown upon you.
The game is fast and challenging and will provide many challenges to face up to as you take on the battle of the Reapers and as not everyone can survive it will be down to your skill, your planning and complete commanding skills to discover the best way of preventling the Aliens from completely ruling the whole universe.

You as the commander get the opportunity to explore planets and the way that this war progresses is down to you. You will get to choose your accomplishments or you may decide to challenge them all single handed. However you decide to play the heat is on as survival is not for all in this last chapter of Mass Effect. You will have a wide range of weapons available which you determine how they should be deployed. With the variety of weapons you can change their ability to suit your needs as each weapon has special powers added to them. With this Xbox game you will be taking the battle to many different galaxies so you will certaintly be travelling the universe.
Mass Effect 3 is fast and will keep you hooked as you fight your way to survial – you and only you will get to decide who survives but it cannot be everyone.

Mass Effect 3 Description

The final game in the exciting Mass Effect series arrives on our shelves in early March and is being released on the PS3 and XBox platforms, as well as a PC version. There are a number of different modes in Mass Effect 3 allowing you to determine the direction of the game. The most popular of these, the role playing mode lets you customize your character to give a great interactive experience. The other roles for single playing mode are action mode, where you just let the game run itself and get involved in the action, without any character customization. Story mode is more like the role playing mode in that you can determine your outcome and customize your character, although the battles and fights you get involved in are not as challenging.

For multiplayer modes, join up with up to 3 other players and complete the missions and challenges that are thrown your way. Successful campaigns will result in credits which can be used to purchase packs as you progress through the game. If you've got Kinect, then the XBox version has a unique feature where you can shout your commands which will be readily understood by the technology.

Various cities are taking part including London, which launches on 27 Feb 2012.

As with all console releases, the Playstation Vita which releases on Wed 22 Feb 2012 is likely to have a high price initially as retailers gauge the competition in the market and the sales figures. It is unclear at this stage whether the Vita will be a major success as naturally handheld consoles now have to compete against the smartphones such as the iphone which are gaining in market share.  Of course Sony will hope that the specialist PS Vita console with it's power and larger screens will give them the edge, but only time and possibly the pricing policy will tell.

The last console release, that of the Nintendo 3DS, saw a hefty price reduction after a few month but that was down to the poor sales, so the success of the Playstation Vita will ultimately decide whether the price remains around the £200 mark or comes down in the summer.
