TEFAL TOAST'N EGG.

Once in a while I discover a product that really blows me away and this year its very definitely THE TOAST'N EGG.

Imagine one machine that can produce toast and a poached egg simultaneously. Well Tefal have come up trumps with this amazing product.

Its not much bigger in size than a conventional toaster and it makes two slices of toast, and the addition is a small non stick pan the size of an egg and it switches off automatically when both are done. You can also cook boiled eggs and heat small amounts of food as well but I haven't ventured into that territory yet.

I must admit I am a great fan of TEFAL products, two of my favourite that I wouldn't be without are the Slowcooker/steamer and the Sesame Wok. The slow cooker is so useful particularly at this time of the year, I use chicken portions and pour over a jar of sauce and overnight it produces a delicious meal.

Winter has arrived with a vengeance and what better after a hard day to come home to a bowl of lovely hot soup with crusty bread.

I can highly recommend a tub of this delicious VINE RIPENED TOMATO & MASCARPONE SOUP, it is really creamy and scrumptious and heats up in the microwave in a couple of minutes.

I tried it with some SUNFLOWER & PUMPKIN SEEDED LOAF and it made me a very happy person.

Although I sleep well, due to the fact that I practice transcendental meditation twice daily, and have done so for over 20 years. However sometimes circumstances in life take over your mind and disrupt your sleep pattern.

This happened to me recently and then I discovered SAINSBURY'S SLEEP AID, I have taken just half of one pill on occasion and found that I have had good sound sleep but most importantly NO aftereffects.

Are you looking for an exercise class, if so I can recommend a Yoga class with a difference!!

It is held at Ezefitness which is at Dunes Splash World and the instructor is Peter. It is a very popular session that is held each Saturday morning at 9-15 a.m.

I would describe it as a cross between yoga and pilates and have found it very good as well as being very enjoyable.

So for further information of the many classes on offer pop along and pick up the leaflet and give it a go.

Listening to the news this morning hearing about probable power cuts this winter could make many people anxious. I suggest you take yourself along to one of the stockists below and make sure you have close to hand a SPOTLIGHT OR STICK UP BULB so that if this situation occurs you are well prepared.

Both are really handy items which can be used in garages, under the stairs, anywhere that needs a boost of lighting without wires or drilling etc.

They all work off batteries and are absolutely ideal to keep beside you during the winter months.

MARKS & SPENCER - PASTRY SPOONS!

I was invited to a supper party recently and the conversation was halted by the arrival of a platter of dinky spoons made out of pastry. They were served with a selection of dips and the idea was to use them literally as a spoon, but you eat the pastry and the dip together.

It was such an unusual party piece which could be served with sweet or savoury dips. Do try some and let me know how you served them. sandragee60@tiscali.co.uk

I was suprised to discover that Revlon created the first nail enamel in 1932 and the brand is as popular as ever.

Two really smart colours have been launched that compliment the new fashion shades of the season. I have been using Steel-her-heart which is a really smart grey/ pewter shade and my "test panel" have become very excited about the Midnight Affair which is a gorgeous dark blue. Consider the dark colours both have stayed chip free for an amazing length of time.

DOVE HAIR THERAPY SYSTEM & NAKED DEEP CLEANSE SHAMPOO.

Its not often that I get through a whole bottle of shampoo and then replace it with the exact same brand, but on this occasion I liked NAKED DEEP CLEANSE SHAMPOO so much that I invested in another bottle. The smell is lovely, it washes out easily, and leaves my hair squeaky clean. The other thing that appeals to me is that it is made from naturally derived vitamin and plant extracts.

My test panel of family females highly recommend the Dove Hair Therapy system as its a brand they normally favour, but they were full of praise for this new range, as they all wash their hair daily and found that the Dove 2 in 1 Daily Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner was brilliant ,and was great for holidays as it made packing much lighter.
