New Features of Reg Organizer 6.10

Uninstalling a program is easy, but when it comes to removing the
program and all residues it has left in the system, the process
becomes tricky. Earlier, removing programs requiring a reboot with Reg
Organizer or Soft Organizer couldn’t be finished correctly without
certain workarounds. This made using these two programs a bit more
difficult.

We are glad to present new version of Reg Organizer 6.10 and Soft
Organizer 3.10 featuring significantly improved uninstalling of
applications that require a reboot. Interestingly, the process has
become so simple that it doesn’t need any actions from the user
anymore. In order to complete the removal process, a user simply needs
to run Reg Organizer/Soft Organizer, and the utility will ask to
finalize the removal. The whole thing is so simple now, that you don’t
have to do anything at all.

But that’s not all for novelties. Reg Organizer also features the
following changes:

* The registry editor in Reg Organizer now can remove multiple
parameters in the registry key at once. In earlier versions,
parameters had to be deleted one by one. This capability is extremely
useful while editing .reg files with the built-in registry editor.

* "Important Registry Parts" and "Registry Cleanup" tools
now include the new list of last accessed files. A user can clean the
list completely or remove unnecessary or non-existent elements from
it.

* A new option is available in the installed program trace view mode –
an ability to add elements to the exclusion list. Formerly, this
option was only available while uninstalling programs.

In addition, both programs feature multiple fixes and updates intended
to increase stability and safety of the programs’ operation.

Soft Organizer – the New Name for Full Uninstall

Chemtable Software releases its new product - Soft Organizer. This
powerful application manager for the range of operating systems from
Windows XP through Windows 8 allows the user to install programs with
tracking and if required to uninstall them completely, including all
traces residing in the system. In addition, Soft Organizer can notify
the user about newer versions of applications installed on the
computer.

Soft Organizer is based on Chemtable’s Full Uninstall tool and is
essentially a new version and further development of that product.
Since the range of new capabilities goes far beyond the initial name
of Full Uninstall, the program was renamed.

The main purpose of Soft Organizer is handy management of applications
installed on users’ computers. The tracking function allows users to
record all changes made in the system during the installation of an
application and completely to uninstall that application along with
all traces it has left in the OS. The default uninstall procedure
often misses them, so all these residues remain on the computer. In
addition, Soft Organizer features a function to find traces of
applications that were not installed with tracking. This function was
also included in Full Uninstall.

The first and the primary new feature in Soft Organizer is the
application update control function. Whenever this function detects a
newer version of some application, an up arrow is displayed next to
the application’s name indicating a new version is available. In
addition, the “New version” button is displayed on the information
panel of the selected application. Whenever a user clicks the “New
version” button, he is redirected to a page on our website with
detailed information about this update.

The other main innovation is the option to turn off application trace
scan during the uninstalling of an application. This step can now be
skipped, and the quicker default uninstaller is launched. Sometimes
this is convenient, for instance, when a user merely reinstalls the
program and wishes to preserve his settings.

A Personal License for Soft Organizer costs $30 and allows the user to
activate the program on two computers. The Family License permits
installing of the program on up to 5 computers and costs $67.

Simplified Program Removal in Reg Organizer 6.02

Today we have released Reg Organizer 6.02. It features the enhanced
process of unnecessary program removal with the “Application
Uninstaller” function. This function allows to install and to fully
uninstall unnecessary applications along with all traces it could have
left in the system. This isn’t an everyday functionality – in some
cases the default program removal is enough and there’s no need to
delete application’s traces.

In order to speed up the removal process Reg Organizer 6.02 offers a
quick uninstall option that doesn’t perform searching for traces. This
reduced uninstalling time and save all settings and other traces of
the program being uninstalled.

To skip the scan and don’t look up for traces of the deleted program,
press the Del key on your keyboard when you see the first window of
the Reg Organizer’s Uninstall Wizard. This will skip the search for
traces making the process run faster.

Why would you need this?

When you uninstall a program during the update process, you usually
don’t want your settings and personal preferences to gone with the
program. The new version of that program you install should pick them
up, so you don’t have to configure the application from scratch or
re-activate it.

Final Version of Reg Organizer 6.0 and Some History

The very first version of Reg Organizer was released in 2001. At that
time, it was only capable of changing a few registry settings in
certain registry nodes (in fact, that was the very first version of
the function now called “Important registry nodes”) and had the
“Registry Editor” with some advanced capabilities.

Upon the release of the second version of Reg Organizer, the tool
already had multiple useful instruments, such as “Registry cleaner”,
“Age system”, “File cleaner”, and many others, and had gained decent
popularity among advanced users. The second version also implemented
the uninstall function that allowed users to track changes prior to
and after installing an application and then reverse the changes
later.

In the third version, Reg Organizer added many improvements to
existing functions and became much more efficient and convenient to
work with. And in 2006, the fourth version of Reg Organizer was
released benefiting the “Registry optimization” function and numerous
changes and improvements. 2009 was the year of the fifth version. It
featured the new express check function that allowed users to quickly
evaluate system status upon launching the program. Additionally,
massive amounts of changes in other functions were made, and the
support for x64 systems was first introduced by popular demand.

And now at the beginning of 2013, we are glad to release the final
version of Reg Organizer 6.0, that steps forward again making registry
work simpler, more comfortable, and convenient. We devoted several
articles to novelties of this version, each telling about a certain

Speed and convenience are important factors while working with a

A New Insight Into Registry Fine-Tuning in Reg Organizer 6.0

5 New Helpful Features of Full Uninstall 2.10

The new version, Full Uninstall 2.10, is already on the way. We are
now performing the final tests and preparations. Before the final
release, we decided to tell you in a more detailed way about the new
features you are going to enjoy in the latest version of Full
Uninstall. Here are the five major new features of Full Uninstall 2.10
and Reg Organizer (Full Uninstall is fully included in Reg Organizer
as the Remove Programs function).

Installing Applications

Installing Applications from the Context
Menu of the Windows Explorer

When using computers, we often see that we have to make a series of
steps in order to fulfill a task, and each of those steps slows down
the whole process. When using Full Uninstall, to install applications
with the tracking function, you had to run Full Unisntall first,
select Install A Program, then select the application to be installed,
and only after that you could start the installation procedure. This
is not as convenient as starting the tracking function automatically,
together with starting the installation utility.

In the new version, you will be able to start the tracking function
right away. To do so, you will have to click the setup file of the
application to be installed with the right mouse button and select
Install with tracing in Full Uninstall in the context menu.

This feature (the context menu option) can be enabled or disabled in
the settings of your Full Uninstall application. If for some reasons
you do not want to use it, you can easily disable it by going to the
Shell Integration section of the application settings and removing the
checkmark from the Install with tracing in Full Uninstall option.

Installing Updates with Tracking

After you have installed an application with the Full Uninstall
tracking function enabled, sooner or later you will need to update
this application. The earlier versions of Full Uninstall did not
provide the opportunity to integrate the changes made when installing
updates of an already installed application with the tracking
function. The new version, Full Uninstall 2.10, will give you this
wonderful and helpful opportunity. You will be able to update your
applications and integrate the updates with the programs already
installed in your system, which will allow you to completely remove
applications with their updates, without any traces remaining.

Changes made when installing updates can only be integrated for the
applications which were originally installed with the tracking
function enabled.

Removing Applications

Removing Several Applications at Once

It happens so quite often that we want to remove several applications
or games at once. To do that, we have to repeat the same consecutive
steps to remove every single application or game separately. The new
version, Full Uninstall 2.10, will make removing several applications
at once easier.

If you need to remove several applications at once, you only have to
select them with your mouse holding down the Ctrl key (or Shift,
depending on the situation) and press the Uninstall Applications button.

Besides, it often happens so, too, that some supplementary software is
installed together with the main application. It can be a set of
subsidiary modules provided by third party developers, web browser
toolbars or extensions, or various accompanying applications.

When removing such an application with Full Uninstall (provided that
its installation has been tracked), you will be prompted to remove all
the accompanying applications and modules which were installed
together with the main program.

Passing by the Default Uninstallation and
Moving to Finding the Traces of a Program

When removing buggy applications, it is sometimes especially helpful
to remove them without running the uninstaller (the standard program
provided by the developer to remove the application). For example,
when this uninstaller cannot be launched or hangs during the
uninstallation. After switching to Version 2.10, you will have the
opportunity to pass by the default uninstaller and move directly to
finding the application traces and removing them.

To move to finding the traces of a program and removing them, you will
have to press the Skip button in the Full Uninstall
uninstallation wizard window.

The Algorithm for Finding the Traces has
been Improved

The last important new feature of the latest version of Full Uninstall
is the improved algorithm for finding the traces, which is now able to
find even more traces of uninstalled programs.

A New Approach to Complete Software Uninstallation

Chemtable Software has announced new versions of its utilities Reg Organizer 5.40 and Full Uninstall 2.0.

The Reg Organizer tool is intended for comprehensive service of the system registry in the Microsoft Windows operating systems. The tool allows editing the system registry, searching and replacing data in it, seeking and fixing various errors, defragmenting system registry files, completely uninstalling applications along with all traces they may have left in the system, and much more.

The Portable Version of Reg Organizer Has Been Released

Chemtable Software has released the official portable version of the Reg Organizer utility intended for complex service of the system registry under Microsoft Windows operating systems. The portable version can be run from removable storages on any computer. Note that all settings are stored on the removable device, so a user doesn’t have to install the program on every computer being serviced.

New Update Mechanism in Full Uninstall 1.06

Chemtable Software have released an update of Full Uninstall 1.06, our installation and complete uninstallation utility software. The key feature of the Full Uninstall is its ability to monitor all changes made to the system, as you install a new application, and then to remove those changes cleanly when you uninstall it. This prevents system clutter, because when you install and then uninstall applications using Full Uninstall, all files associated with the uninstalled programs are removed completely. Contrast this with the huge number of leftovers that may be left in the system when you uninstall software using the standard Windows tools. Over the course of time, the amount of such useless files grows to the point where they start to slow down your system considerably.

Reg Organizer 5.21 and Full Uninstall 1.05 Updates

Handy Complete Removal of Programs with Reg Organizer 5.20

ChemTable Software has released a new version of a system utility, Reg Organizer 5.20 that features the full specter of tools for cleaning, optimization and tuning up of the system and the system registry. The program includes such tools as a registry editor, registry cleanup, optimization and compression, a tool to create and compare registry snapshots, a tool for complete removal of programs from the system and others.

The new version of Reg Organizer features an entirely rebuilt removal tool; now it is a unified list of all applications installed in the system, and a user can easily uninstall any of them. If a certain program was installed under Reg Organizer’s control the procedure will also revert all changes this program has made to the system during installation. This allows returning the system back to the state preceding the installation of this application. A special Reg Organizer agent can automatically monitor the execution of setup programs, and if such launch is detected, it offers to install that application under Reg Organizer’s control. Such approach prevents future cluttering in the system, because the program being installed can be easily and completely removed.

Also, a tool to create and compare registry snapshots was also improved. With this tool you can find changes made to the system between two checkpoints (snapshots) and roll back those changes to a previous state if needed. This is helpful when you want to analyze the activity of some untrustworthy application.

Besides, the new version of Reg Organizer has many other changes making the use of the program even easier than before. For instance, in the registry and disk cleanup modes an indicator is added that helps you to estimate how long it will take to complete the cleaning process. In the registry editor, positions of various commands to work with favorite records have changed; now all favorites’ commands are concentrated in the same place.
