]]> I have bought a new bike recently to try to have more exercise. It is a 2017 Trek FX2 and I got it from Bike Barn. This is probably the most expensive outdoor sports equipment that I have purchased. That is why now, I have the urge to cycle around the neighborhood as much as possible.

What really triggered me to buy this bike is that in the past few weeks, I have been cycling around in my old bike. It was a 26″ mountain bike, equip with front disc brake and dual suspension (front and rear). It feels slow cycling that on paved road and that is why I decided that I should sell this bike and get a new one.

Also, I have subscribed to a couple of Youtube channels dedicated to cycling and I found them really interesting. The main Youtube channel I go to is the Global Cycling Network channel, which has all information related to road bike. Although my bike is really a hybrid/city bike, but a lot of the channel’s video shows the general how-to and guides for cycling in general.

I have had 15 miles put on it until now. The Trek FX2 is indeed a fast bike, with responsive gear shifting and also efficient rim brakes. I can now cycle longer distance for the same time, as I am moving faster and more efficiently. The bike is matte black in color and has Shimano front and rear derailleur. Build quality is excellent. I am now trying to look for lights as it would be getting dark soon day by day.
