The weather was simply fantastic, we had a lot of fun exploring this place, although we didn't manage to finish our tour.  It was huge!

Not to be confused with the Chelsea Flower Show, Kew Gardens is located in Surrey and is said to be one the most important place to study plants. There's a pair of them that comes back every year, greedily feeding  on berries and giant earthworms in our area.  Each time they try to fly, they clumsily go 'Phwoop!  Phwoop!  Phwoop!'

Pork chops with apple and cider sauce.  Here's the process in pictures. 









Lean pork chops, pan fried with a bit of oil then plated up.  I used Tesco's Finest Norfolk Outdoor Reared pork.  Ethical, British and delicious.

Turning 30 is great.  And turning 30 in the company of those who watched you grow up makes it wonderful and complete.  I cannot think of a better birthday gift than this.  I've had 2 birthday cakes and homemade chocolate fondant to date, but if you think I can eat no more cake you are SO wrong.
