So much has happened since my last post I don't even know where to begin. My little boy has started 1st grade! My girl is as crazy as can be and her new favorite word is nasty. Everything is nasty to her. :) We recently bought one of those gyro bowls because she is constantly spilling stuff on the carpet and well the gyro bowl just made it a challenge for her to dump stuff on the floor. Yeah so that's fun and all. So I think I'm going to start digitally scrap booking because I can't find the time to do it the regular way anymore and I don't have a craft room here. I guess I will post my first page when I get it done. We are also now in the process of decorating our home so more of that to come too! :)

Baby bottle blues and other-ness

So the whole time I was pregnant I was told so many times how wonderful Dr. Brown's bottles are - but they aren't. What a pain in the butt to clean those things, and I've had to buy special brushes and all the stupid little parts to clean. What mother has time for all that? Sometimes I wonder if the people who invent baby products actually have children.

My daughter is now nine months and just started walking!!

Its so cool and scary how fast she has grown! And Im in no hurry for her to start running around! My other little one is doing good in kindergarten and has too busy playing with his friends for me to even spend any time with him.

Im also on a new no-fat diet due to my gallstones and it has been so hard trying to cook meals for the whole family that I can actually eat - we have been eating a lot of low-fat options and stir fry. I am also babysitting a little girl for a couple of weeks and the neat thing about watching other people's children it makes you appreciate your own much much more.

Stay at home is making me crazy :)

So the baby is now 2 months old and my little monkey is going to start school when summer is over. My darling baby daddy is now working the graveyard shift and so I am a stay at home mom. At first I loved it - spend all day with the kids, don't have to have any of the stress of working. However after a couple of weeks of this stuff there are a few things that I have noticed:

1. With all of us home all the time the house never stays clean for even a day.
2. We live in the south so the average summer temp is about 100 - too hot to take the kids to the park (esp. the 2 month old) so our activities are limited

The walls seem to be slowing closing in on me and Im starting to run out of ideas to keep a 5 yo entertained for a majority of the day - I even googled stay at home mom. How do you keep from going crazy and what is it I do all day.

So I have 28 days left to meet my baby girl! Its seems like so long ago I found out we were expecting a baby. We have everything set up and ready its just we are having a slight problem keeping the cats out of the crib. Any suggestions?

So I'm nervous and excited. I guess the normal feelings of a pregnant lady. The little monkey has been so awesome - I think he is just as excited to have a sister! He gives my belly kisses and says Hi sister. He tells me he is going to teach her how to play baseball. Speaking of baseball he starts t-ball in a couple of weeks so needless to say Im going to be busy as hell the next couple of weeks!

Slacking

Ok I've been slacking on my blog posts lately - It may or may not be because I am addicted to a game on facebook called farkle. Also I've been working and taking care of the little one and cooking and all that good stuff.

Tonight I had the little guy's girlfriend over - they are so cute together - they argue all the time and tell each other they stink. So we put together a puzzle and ate string cheese and then we all made mini-pizza's which are so easy and they are pretty yummy - and the kiddo's can help.

Pizza Sauce
cheese
Peperroni

put it all together and put it in the oven until the cheese melts.

Yeah I'm a regular Betty Crocker! I did try to make a cake with fondant - it turned out so aweful and it didn't taste that great either - next time Im just buying one.

So yesterday was awful! I got to work of course running late like usual and my boss is there he says to me that the doors were left unlocked (which I know is bull honkey because I was the last one there and I double checked to make sure the doors were locked. He leaves and then later I go to write a check and the checkbook and cash box were missing. I really think he is messing with me because he always tells me to lock my desk but I forget and really if someone were to break in they would have to unlock three doors, the lock on my desk really wont matter. Either way if someone did steal it - they got maybe $15 in cash and a checkbook with no money in the account - if my boss is really messing with me it might be time to put in my notice.

Anyway enough venting - The little guy was grumpy yesterday - after I got off work I go and pick him up from his grandfathers, about an hour after we were home it was time to make dinner - He didn't like what I was making so he started pitching a fit so I sent him to his room and turned the tv off. When the timer went off he came out of his room and looked at the tv and said "You ruined my day I wanted to watch tv" - It was so funny the way he said it that I just started laughing - which didn't help - but after a little consoling things were good again.

He said to me the other day while we were eating dinner, "you want to play poker" to which I responded "what?" he says "you know Texas Holdem - its a card game"

There was excitement at first about going to float down the river - that is until we got to the river. I dropped my car off at the point of the river we get out at and my friend took us to the point we get in at - then he tells me, he is not going and he wants to go home. I'm like "the only way to get home is to go down the river." (this is when I snapped the picture) After a little more kicking and screaming we got on the water - he was screaming as loud as he could (and if you have ever been on the river - epically on a Thursday when no one is around - the sound kind of echos) so I say to him "If you don't stop screaming I am going to throw you in the water" - He stopped screaming. After about five minutes and some hand holding and reassuring he warmed up and then he was his usually funny little self.

When we got to the part of the river where we get out at he tells me he wants to go again. - oh man A series of non stop questions....I say maybe this weekend, he asks what day, how many days is that, etc. Thank goodness there was a little girl playing at the dock, as soon as he saw her he says can I go play... my little flirt.

Latter on we go to my grandfathers house, where my little comedian has us all laughing we made plans to go down the river this weekend, hopefully this time with daddy and maybe my Aunt!

I still have pictures left on my waterproof camera so we have to go again!

Monster

So today was a good day! I got paid and we ate out so I don't have to do any dishes! Also we finally got around to cleaning the little guys room and that took FOREVER. During this room cleaning I asked him to stop jumping on the couch and running through the house and that turned out to be a battle of will's. He started screaming and I put him in time out, then to his room (because he wouldn't stop screaming in time out), then took away the computer...

Its funny because his father is a computer repair technician and I am always on the computer so naturally the little one would be lost with out his technology too. If he gets his computer taken away- he is so funny- he gets sad because he can't play on Kidzui, can't watch his movies, or play his Spongebob game.

Anyway eventually after his loss of privileges the cute little monster says to me "I really want my computer back" and me not being the most patient and loving mother says "well if you quit being a monster I wouldn't have to take your stuff away" to which he responds "Your bigger than me so your the biggest monster and your rawr is louder than mine". *He always has a way of reminding me why I'm so happy/lucky to have him in my life and also not to get too upset he is only 4. :)

After that we discussed different monsters and super powers. He always tells me that he has see vision which is kinda his version of x-ray vision but it allows him to see all the home when we are on the other side of town.

Well I am going floating down the Editso river in the morning and might try and take the cute little monster with me...should be interesting!

Today was one of those not so good days where my little rock star was grumpy and so was the big one. The cleaning to do list just keeps piling up because I don't feel like doing any of it. Seriously I wish I could hire someone to do all the laundry. So my fiancee goes to pick up the little rock star last night from his grandpa's house and they are getting ready to leave - Papa says to little one something about putting on his shoes and does it go on his right foot, his left foot or his middle foot (joking around) and my sweet little boy says "don't be silly Papa I don't have a middle foot that is my wee wee" ; I almost died laughing. I was putting him to bed tonight and he says to me that I need to set up a booby trap for any monsters that try to break in and I realized he is watching way too much TV. So I am going to do my best to clean the house and do something crafty with the little one today! Any suggestions... we bought some oven bake clay and made his daddy a dog, but I think we might try cooking something.

Murder Frogs

So I got these frogs for Christmas from my best friend and I keep them on my desk at work. Thursday when I go into work the little one (Poco) is dead and the big one (Pitch) is swimming around like nothing happened. So we have a toilet bowl funeral for poor little Poco and then for the rest of the day I swear Pitch was staring at me and now I can't bear to look at him because he would never let Poco have any of the food so I blame Pitch for his death. I hate frog drama. Anyway I went and stayed the night at my best friend's house Friday so we could get up early and go yard sale-ing because I am so not a morning person and probably would have missed all the yard sales had I not stayed at her house. We stayed up real late having an exciting girls night putting together a puzzle and we realized we were getting old - because girls night used to be much more lucrative. Well I got all kinds of cool scrapbook stuff for like $5 and I'm so excited to scrapbook and stuff - also I got some cool sponge bob stuff. I get home and my honey is all like "you don't know how to yard sale very well" and I'm like "I am the master yardsaler" and he is "all you don't know anything about the commerce of the front yard business" so Im like whatever... Then we heard the ice cream truck and we were saved from our disagreement by the little one shrieking for joy about ice cream and we get to the ice cream truck and he is all like i want powder puff ice cream and I'm like your a boy don't you want spider man and he is like uh I guess so..... and then I get a look like you do this to him... and I'm like what just because he says his favorite color is pink it is not my fault. Then we went to lunch.

On a side note I woke up the other morning to something very disturbing - my kitten was all licking my chihuahua's boy parts and my fiancee is all like you should take some tips from the kitty and I was like you better watch it buddy.

Sometimes I am embarrassed to admit that I live in South Carolina. I mean first it’s the miss USA who has no clue why people can’t read maps and does the worst job ever of bullshitting her way through answering a question, and then we have a man-whore governor but really is there nothing else more important going on that this makes national news? So he cheated on his wife that sucks for his family but is that really newsworthy – I like juicy gossip as much as the next person, but every night on the news there is something about the governor - enough already. Ok and second yes most people in South Carolina have a southern accent but if you lived somewhere where the summer temp is almost always boiling hot outside you would talk slower too. My theory is talking fast equals more hot air and there is enough of that around here anyway so we talk slower.

I want to start by saying that SITS is pretty rad and thank you to all the kind peeps that showed me some comment love. Yeah so I get home yesterday and my internet is so shut down – the cable company put the smack down, damn it. I freak out and then go put in applications at a few places and then I went and sat at the freaking job depot – well that’s not what it’s called but I like that name better. After waiting and waiting and then getting told to come back tomorrow it’s time to go pick up the monkey. I call him my monkey because I don’t want to reveal his true identity because he is like Spiderman just little - but it’s kind of funny because my biggest fear is monkeys – not just any monkeys though only the ones in cages. I think it’s because when I was really little my parents took me to some place where we were in the cage and the monkeys were all free around us and It was all like planet of the apes and now I get a panic attack when I drive by the zoo. Seriously though the monkeys at the zoo or any caged monkeys are probably suffering from what I call cage rage and at any time could be planning a monkey revolt. Please everyone be careful! So anyway I go and pick up little spidey from his girlfriends house – by girlfriend I mean the girl that is his friend because they are both 4 and a little young for romance and they argue like married old people.

Transformers are awesome and singing God Bless America in a Transformers mask is even more awesome! Are fireworks scary to anyone else's kid? He says he doesn't like the noise. So the other day we were both cleaning the house and I made some coffee and of course my monkey wanted some to which I told him - It will stunt your growth. Well he drank a sip and runs over to the mirror and says "Mom I'm shrinking"....haha I tried to explain to him that it doesn't make him smaller but he said he wanted to drink so much coffee that he turns back into a baby....hmmmm

Rent is due. There are no jobs. Money is tight and Wendy's just screwed me. Ok so their new Asian chicken looked really good on their advertisement (of course all food advertisements look good on tv ) but I figured what the heck I'm broke can't find a job and I am super hungry so I could splurge for the $3. Well what I got in my Wendy's bag made me so very sad and angry I wish I knew where I could find a dragon. I would hire that dragon to go burn down every Wendy's in town for selling me chicken nuggets with sauce already on them for $3. Seriously I could have spent the dollar and put my own damn sauce on them.

I would also send the dragon to my "friends" house who said to me - yeah my husband and I have this business on the side if you would like to come check it out - and when I research their "company" it turns out to be the new and improved cult of Amway....geesh.

Also I wish I could get paid to facebook because I would be a millionaire!! Except now my boss is on facebook.

So summer is super slow in the education business so I have been looking for part time work all over the place. Since the economy sux there are very little part time jobs out there that would still let me spend lots of time with my monkey. So I started to look for some way to bring income in by working online - well there is not much out there. There are pay for click sites that pay you like a penny for clicking on an add the sites I have found that I like are:

I am sure there are others but these are the ones I like. They don't pay much though.

Such a big mouth on such a little guy

So the other morning I woke up to go to work and my little guy was playing the xbox. I quickly glanced over before running around to get ready for work. I would have sworn he was playing the game Call of Duty which I will not let him play because its too gory for me and i say to him, you know your not supposed to be playing that game at which point he responds "Do you need to put your glasses on, Im playing Ironman" lol turns out he was playing Ironman.

His dad goes to pick him up the other day and he comes home and he is in the best mood. i ask him if he had a good day and he tells me that Savannah is the prettiest girl and he had to give her the wolf whistle. A few days latter i go to pick him up at which point Savannah's mother informs me that they are dating (he's 4) and Savannah says to me "we are getting married" thought I didn't have to worry about this stuff for at least another 12 years :)
