There are many animals in the Bible and in this series we focus on passages talking about animals in general. In the following series we’ll talk about specific creatures that appear in the Old and New Testaments.

In these prayers we’ll remember how God created the animals and entrusted humans to take care of them. They’ll help us see how God wants us to treat them.

You’ll find Bible passages that talk about the relationship between humans and animals at the beginning of creation that can help us understand the role of animals in Paradise.

And you’ll also see how animals can teach us lots of things about our own relationship with God.

Children of Prayer,

This is the second series on prayer, and there’ll be plenty more! In the first series, “The Lord Listens to us”, we talked about how God always listens to us and is always by the side of those who call Him with all their heart.

In this second series we talk about listening to the Lord, listening to his voice. When we pray, the Lord speaks to us and wants us to listen to Him. He knocks patiently at the door to our heart and calls our name, just as he did to Paul the Apostle when he fell from his horse.

In this series we’ll discover the rewards of recognising the Lord’s voice and following Him as a Good Shepherd as He leads us along the path to our happiness and fulfilment. If only we could hear his voice today!

Hello Children of the Psalms,

This is the third series of the “Children’s Bible Daily Prayer” dedicated to children. In the two previous series we talked about children in the New Testament and key characters in the Bible when they were children.

The “Children’s Bible” app has just published “Children’s Psalms”, a book that Picanyol and I have been working on for many months. We’re really pleased to dedicate this series to what the psalms have to say about children.

You’ll see that these Bible passages talk a lot about parents’ love for their children. How they sit them on their lap, hold their hand as they walk along life’s path, and always forgive them. Oh, and they also talk about how brothers and sisters should live together!

God uses parents’ love for their children to show His love for us, which is even greater.

The Lord has come back to life! Today is the most important day of the year. In these prayers you’ll see how the people who loved Jesus were transformed by his resurrection: their sadness turned to joy and in place of despair came peace. And with the Holy Spirit, this peace and joy gave them the strength to announce the resurrection of the Lord to the whole world. An announcement that has reached us here and now. May the Lord accompany us along the path of life and open our eyes to his presence, just as he did with the disciples at Emmaus. May Jesus give us his peace to overcome all fears and anxieties, comfort us and fill us with joy.

Our Lent pilgrimage has come to its end.

We’ve prepared for Lent over the last five series: “Convert!”, “Temptations of Jesus”, “Transfiguration of Jesus”, Jesus’ Friends: Peter (Lent)” and “Jesus’ Questions for Lent”.

We followed the story of the Passion through Peter’s eyes, as well as through the questions Jesus asked.

In this final series, we’ll pray with passages from the Passion and the Gospels of John and Luke. You’ll find many of the most important passages in the Bible here. I strongly suggest you read the whole story of the Passion in groups or as a family.

Friends of Jesus,

This is the second series dedicated to Peter. These prayers are taken from Gospel texts that talk about Peter during Jesus Christ’s Passion, Death and Resurrection.

Peter was one of Jesus’ best friends, but when Jesus was arrested, he pretended not to know him. He wept bitterly at his cowardice, but he wouldn’t be able to talk to Jesus again until his resurrection.

The Bible says nothing about what Peter and Jesus talked about when Jesus appeared to him, but after this meeting Peter was a new man.

If only a resurrected Jesus could talk to us and change our lives as well!
