Innovative mobile Internet startups, mark this date in you calendar! Global Mobile Internet Conference 2011 will be held at China National Convention Center in Beijing on April 27-28,2011.

The Global Mobile Internet Conference (GMIC) is Asia's largest and most elite mobile Internet conference. It is specifically designed for mobile Internet leaders to connect with each other, to learn from top industry influencers, and to promote their initiatives.

This year’s GMIC 2011 focuses on the strategies needed to succeed— the New Challenges faced, the New Opportunities that are available, and the New Leaders that will emerge. 中国加速于2011年3月23－25日参加了在首尔举办的麻省理工国际初创企业研究会。麻省理工初创企业研究会历时3天，3天中创业领袖，金融家，学生，教授，政府机构，个体机构齐聚一堂共同建立国际化的创业支持网络。

麻省理工国际初创企业研究会（MIT GSW)于1997年建立，源于美国麻省理工大学的创业大赛，在美国马萨诸塞州的剑桥市于1998年3月第一次正式举办活动。起初MIT GSW只是致力于举办各种商业计划大赛（BPCs),来全世界范围的推广创业精神，逐渐地，随着 MIT GSW的发展，它以建立了自己的商业计划大赛社团，并持续专注于建立更强大，更全面，更多产的创业生态系统。参与者可以通过在MIT GSW中参与演讲，讨论，案例分析，商业计划大赛训练和电梯间演讲等活动中建立宝贵的人脉，并努力加强持久的互助合作关系。

Chinaccelerator was at MIT Global Startup Workshop in Seoul

Chinacceleratorwas in Seoul on March 23-25 2011, for the MIT Global Startup Workshop 2011, which is an amazing 3-days conference that bring together entrepreneurial leaders, financiers, students, professors, government agents and private parties to build a global support network for entrepreneurship.

The MIT Global Startup Workshop (MIT GSW) was founded in 1997, originated from the Entrepreneurship Competition of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and holding its first campaign in Cambridge, Massachusetts in March 1988.Firstly, it’s just committed to launching business plan competition (BPCs) and nurture entrepreneurship worldwide, gradually it formed its own BPC community and focused on building stronger, more productive entrepreneurial ecosystem. Participants gain invaluable contacts and forge lasting relationship by attending presentations, discussions, case studies, BPC training and elevator pitch competition and so on.

Since 1998, MIT Global Startup Workshop has organized 13 international workshop spanning 6 continents and welcomed participants from over 70 nations.

Chinaccelerator joins Techstars Network

Chinaccelerator is proud of joining TechStars Network, a newly launched US White House sponsored alliance of independently owned and operated startup accelerator programs from dozens of cities across the United States and around the world.

The TechStars Network comprises other startup accelerator programs similar to Chinaccelerator that provide seed funding and mentorship to innovative entrepreneurs. Chinaccelerator will be in close cooperation with these organizations and learn best practices from the mentorship-driven model pioneered by TechStars, the leading startup accelerator program in the United States.

The TechStars Network is part of the Startup America initiative, launched today by US President Obama. In partnership with the White House, the goal of the TechStars Network is to become an engine for job growth by ensuring that over the next four years, 5,000 experienced business leaders and investors will mentor and support 6,000 promising young entrepreneurs. The aim is to increase the success rate and sustainability of each program, and to ultimately create 25,000 new economy jobs by 2015.

“We have always been inspired by the TechStars model in getting early stage digital businesses to investment,” said Cyril Ebersweiler, founder of Chinaccelerator program. “TechStars Network and Chinaccelerator will offer an un-matched access to mentors, markets and investors around the world, helping Chinese entrepreneurs to do more faster and be better placed to compete globally.”

The TechStars Network is a membership organization that ensures the sharing of resources and best practices between independently owned and operated mentorship-driven seed acceleration programs across the globe.
