The 6 x 37 IWRC construction contains six strands of wire rope with approximately 37 wires per strand wrapped around a separate 7 X 7 wire rope, which has seven strands with seven wires per strand, in the center of the sling. The wire rope construction has more abrasion and heat resistance than a web sling. <p>Slings are used to lift heavy objects for industrial applications. <ul class="wp-block-list"><li>This specification of the wire rope used for the working load: from 6mm to 60mm with construction 6 x37 type b-1670.</li><li>Different construction of the rope means different working load, we can calculate the working load according with the steel wire rope construction which the customer required.</li><li>The sling’s breaking load is 5 times of the working load.</li><li>When the wire rope diameter is up to 90mm, should be pressed two aluminum alloy joints on each end of sling.</li><li>We use one aluminum ferrule painted with the blue color as the quality ID of LKS Sling.</li></ul>

<p>The specification and model of <strong>bright wire rope</strong> shall meet the requirements of tower crane operation manual, with good lubrication and no friction with metal structure. <ol class="wp-block-list"><li>Whether the wire is broken: the steel wire whose crack or scar has reached half of the diameter of the steel wire is regarded as broken wire.</li><li>Check wear and damage: pay attention to concentric wear and eccentric wear.</li><li>Corrosion: check the degree of corrosion, pitting corrosion and pitting corrosion. <p>The steel rope is a load-bearing element in the elevator, which almost bears all the weight of the elevator. <p>1. Safety factor of traction wire rope</p>
<p>The safety factor of elevator partly depends on the safety factor of <a href="https://www.lkingroup.co/ourproducts/6x19-9-9-1-seale-fibre-core-galvanized-steel-wire-rope">traction wire rope</a>. There are static and dynamic loads in the operation of elevator wire rope, but the main factor affecting the service life of steel wire rope is static load. In practical application, in order to simplify calculation, only static load is considered for practical calculation. The diameter of steel wire rope for elevator is very important. <p>2. Tensile load of steel rope</p>

In a well maintained and debugged elevator, the load of each steel rope in the operation process should be basically the same. If the tension of each rope is uneven in operation due to improper maintenance of the wire rope, the compressive stress between one or several wire ropes and the wheel groove will be greatly increased, which will accelerate the wear of the wire rope and directly affect the service life of the wire rope. Therefore, it is clearly stipulated in the elevator supervision and inspection rules that the deviation between the traction wire rope tension and the average value is not more than 5%.</p>
<p>3. Bending radius of steel rope in use</p>
<p>The curvature radius of steel rope is determined according to the pitch diameter and relative position of traction wheel, anti rope pulley and guide wheel in the use of steel wire rope. Different positions and different pitch diameter determine the bending times and bending stress of steel wire rope in use. The bending stress is inversely proportional to the pitch diameter of each wheel. Article 9.2.1 of gb7588-1995 &lt; Safety Code for elevator manufacture and installation &gt; &gt; stipulates that the ratio of pitch diameter of traction wheel, pulley or drum to the nominal diameter of suspension rope shall not be less than 40 regardless of the number of strands of steel wire rope. During the bending process of steel wire rope, the relative displacement of steel wire in the strand occurs, and there is wear inside. The greater the bending stress, the greater the contact stress between strands With the accumulation of time, the steel wire will break because of stress concentration. Therefore, under the condition that the traction capacity is satisfied, the radius of curvature should be increased as much as possible, the number of rope wheels should be reduced, the reverse bending or twisting of wire rope should be avoided, and the bending stress of steel rope should be reduced in the process of using, so as to reduce the adverse factors on the service life of wire rope.</p>
<p>4. Traction wheel material and groove type</p>
<p>4.1 the groove type and material of traction wheel are closely related to the service life of steel rope. Generally speaking, the wear of steel rope should be very slow due to its higher hardness than rope operation. However, due to the matching of the rope tension and groove type, the elevator wire rope slips, eccentric wear and roll in the groove, which causes wear with the rope groove. Generally, there are semicircular groove, semicircular groove with notch and V-groove. The contact area between the semicircular groove and the rope is relatively large, the specific pressure distribution of the wire rope in the groove is more uniform, and the wear of the rope is relatively small. In order to limit the deterioration of traction conditions due to wear, the lower part of traction wheel is often cut when the rope groove is not subject to additional hardening treatment. The specific pressure distribution of steel rope in the semicircular groove with notch is relatively concentrated, and the specific pressure increases when the notch angle increases. However, due to the small contact area between V-groove and steel wire rope, the specific pressure distribution of steel rope in the rope groove is relatively concentrated, the V-shaped angle is reduced, the specific pressure is increased, and the damage to the steel wire rope is greater in use, which affects the service life of the wire rope.</p>
<p>4.2 generally, the hardness and elastic modulus of the groove should be considered for the material of traction wheel. If the material with soft material is used, the external stress will be reduced, but the wear of the steel wire rope will turn to the inside of the wire rope, and the fracture of the steel wire inside the wire rope will increase. Therefore, it is suggested to use polyurethane rope groove liner on the traction wheel. The liner is embedded into the corresponding groove, and transverse grooves are processed on the liner. <p>In the afternoon of June 8, with the 350 ton crane arm slowly put back to the shelf, the installation of <strong>crane wire rope</strong> for 1200 ton pile around crane and 350 ton pile winding crane of H6018 ship was successfully completed, and the maximum work before the tilt test of the project was successfully completed.</p>

<p>The deck of H6018 ship is equipped with two pile winding cranes, including five 1200 ton crane wire rope, two luffing wire rope of 50 * 1500 meters, two main hook wire ropes of 58 * 2000 meters, and one auxiliary hook wire rope of 50 * 1000 meters; the 350 ton crane has three luffing wire rope of 42 * 900 meters * 1, the main hook wire rope of 42 * 1200 meters * 1, and the auxiliary hook wire rope of 42 * 300 meters * 1.</p>

<p>The installation of the above crane wire rope involves 690V main power supply of the crane, ballast adjustment of the ship and installation of the sliding contact line. Among them, the steel wire installation of the 1200 ton crane needs floating berthing, and the floating berthing needs to reserve a distance of 70 meters from the stern. The ship needs to be moved, and the cross operation with the pile leg is carried out, and the extreme weather is also faced&#8230;</p>



<p>Due to the heavy workload, complex process and many cross operations, and the ship ballast can not be used, it is difficult to adjust it manually. According to the past experience, the period needs one month, which will not meet the requirements of tilt test.</p>

<p>On May 20, the project team took the lead to organize ZPMC manufacturers, material department, general assembly department and other units to hold a special meeting, which launched a &#8220;battle against the clock&#8221; to ensure the node.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Retrospection</h3>



<p><strong>1、 Set up a temporary group to tackle difficulties and overcome difficulties</strong></p>



<p>At the symposium, a temporary group for tackling difficulties was established, which was composed of project team, design department I, material department, commissioning operation area, ship loading operation area, electric loading operation area, mechanical loading operation area, technical construction method personnel, lifting workers, erection workers and other personnel. The division of labor was clear, the responsibilities were assigned to each person, and all the personnel made concerted progress;</p>



<p><strong>2、 Strong plan</strong></p>



<p>Formulate a special plan with the morning, afternoon and evening shift as the time points, and make it clear that the work will be completed on June 8. The node is the order, and the plan will not be relaxed;</p>



<p><strong>3、 Focus on planning:</strong></p>



<p>The start of the project coincides with the two sessions and the safety month. The rope threading process involves factors such as floating state adjustment, high-altitude operation, extreme weather and other factors. Therefore, it is planned to adjust the operation to the daytime. The shift is carried out at noon to race against the time. During this period, the generator characteristic test and crane cross operation, peak stagger planning is particularly critical. At 5:30 a.m. every day, the commissioning operation area is in place, the generator power supply is turned on, the Zhenhua construction personnel are in place to start operation, the machine installation personnel keep on adding water and drainage, waiting for ballast adjustment, and the gantry crane is on duty for 24 hours at any time;</p>



<p><strong>4、 Dare to innovate:</strong></p>



<p>Since the installation of the sliding contact line of the 1200 ton crane involves professional manufacturers, the installation cycle takes about 10 days, which can not meet the planned demand. At the meeting, it was immediately decided to use the temporary power line for bridging. In the commissioning operation area, the cable was constantly searched and collected, and the lunch break was actively given up to complete the temporary cable bridging work.</p>

<p>XCMG xgc88000 4000t crawler crane and 1250t crawler crane have double tail sliding. The main crane 4000t crawler crane adopts 102 main boom + 33m fixed auxiliary boom working condition, and the working radius is 34m. The ethylene 2 propylene tower with a diameter of 6.804m was successfully installed in place. The erection height is 108.6m, and the main hoisting weight is 1435t</p>

<p>On April 4, 2019, in less than 3 hours, the large ethylene tower with a height of 100 meters, a diameter of 5.2 meters and a weight of 800 tons in the ethylene refining plant of China Science and Technology Corporation jumped up in the air and stably hoisted in place.</p>

<p>On June 20, 2019, XCMG xgc88000 crawler crane, the &#8220;Big Mac&#8221; combined with 500t crawler crane, successfully hoisted the absorption tower of coal to hydrogen plant, a large-scale refining equipment of China Science and Technology Corporation. The lifting equipment is the first high tower of the coal to hydrogen plant and the key core equipment of the plant, with a diameter of 4.8m, a height of about 90m and a total lifting weight of more than 800 tons.LKS High performance Wire Ropes is used for lifting.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">What should be paid attention to in the use of High performance Wire Ropes?</h3>



<p>First of all, no matter what type of <a href="https://www.lkingroup.co/crane-wire-rope">High performance Wire Ropes</a>, pay attention to the lubrication effect; if the<a href="http://wirerope-sling.com/supplier-289007-crane-wire-rope" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> crane wire rope</a> is not lubricated in place and the grease cannot effectively penetrate into the wire rope strand, the wire rope will cause early wire breakage, especially the internal core after long-term wear and corrosion.</p>



<p>Second, the steel wire rope of the crane should pay attention to the kink phenomenon. If the special steel wire rope of the crane, such as 35W * 7 / 4V * 39s + 5FC, is not installed in place, there will be stress phenomenon at the beginning of the installation. Then the High performance Wire Ropes without rotation will also kink during the lifting of heavy objects, and some steel wire ropes will bite on the rope arranging drum.</p>



<p>So what if the Wire Ropes  head of the truck crane is treated? When installing a new steel wire rope for the crane, the two ends of the new rope shall be tied tightly with thin soft wires to prevent loose ends and strands.</p>



<p>So how to eliminate the kink and undercut of wire rope? In general, when the new wire rope is uncoiled, we should keep the High performance Wire Ropes in a horizontal and natural state, so as to eliminate the stress, so as to avoid the kink phenomenon and extend the service life of the wire rope when replacing the wire rope.</p>
