If your child had two kids from two different affairs, yet only wanted to be involved with one kid while abandoning the other, would you condone that? Would you want to have a relationship with both children?

This woman is in her 70s, and she's ashamed of her adult son, who is divorced and has two kids with different women, but neither child is his ex-wife's.

Both children were born from her son's affairs. The first child they were accepting of, but the second one they were shocked by. The second child entered the world while her son was still married, and that's what made his wife leave him.

"My son states this woman broke up his marriage and is absolutely [all in] on ruining his life. She has reached out to us, but none of us has engaged," she explained.

"For the most part, we carry on and pretend that the younger child doesn’t exist. We removed all of our public information on the web, as much as we can. Our son says that this woman is mentally unstable."

"I do have a second grandchild out there, but I don’t think I’ll ever meet her. I don’t think of her most days, but today I did. Our family has an established status quo, and my son’s first child has not met the second child."

She couldn't even tell you what that second affair child looks like or what her life is like day to day. All she knows is what her son has told them: that his baby mama is mentally ill and can't be trusted.

Her son claims this woman just wants access to them and their money, because they do have a lot of it. She's wondering if she's doing the best thing by staying away from this woman and her second grandchild.

She's not able to reach out to this woman to talk to her herself, and she doesn't want to be judged for being put in this position in the first place.

"My husband told the woman that we are no longer involved in our son’s life, but that was a lie. We are. And we are involved in the first child’s life as well," she continued.

"I think this entire situation is overwhelming. My son wants nothing to do with this second child."

Well, let's get this straight: her son ruined his own marriage, not that other woman. He has a track record of cheating and having kids with various women, and she should be embarrassed that her family is choosing to ignore and abandon one of those kids based on the word of her son. He's already a cheater, so he's most likely a liar, too.

She should be doing anything possible to support the kids her loser of a son keeps having, because they're innocent. I don't know how she's able to live with herself, letting one child be included in their family while leaving the second an outsider.

It shouldn't be that hard for her to get a hold of that woman and make this right. Also, shame on her for not forcing her son to step up and act like a dad, because he helped bring both of those babies into the world, so he should be on the hook for parenting them.

She's letting her son take the easy way out!

If you caught the person you were engaged to cheating on you with multiple people, would you still want to have your wedding and turn it into a different kind of celebration?

This woman has a job working on a food truck, and she was recently booked to cater a wedding. Weeks before the big day, she was informed that the bride caught the groom cheating on her, so she uninvited his people from the wedding, and obviously she called it off, but still wanted to have a party and make the best of it.

Going into the event, she did her best to be accommodating and kind. The wedding had 100 original guests, but it got cut down to 20.

The bride, her family, friends, and two daughters were all in attendance, so it was small, and everyone was in a great mood considering how sad and tragic things turned out for the bride.

Everyone still got up to give speeches, like at a normal wedding, and the theme centered on men who had caused women to suffer through their actions.

The bride's friends were up first and addressed how strong she was and how she was being a positive role model for her daughters. They promised to always be there for her and her girls.

When the bride got up to say something, it broke her. The bride thanked everyone for being there, including all of the staff members and vendors. She appreciated that people still came together to make the day special, but in a different way than she had anticipated.

She sobbed along with the rest of the girls working the food truck. They found it lovely of this woman to celebrate her strength instead of grieve her loss.

"Which, BY THE WAY! This couple is legally married, have been legally married since the second child, and he still cheated on her with 5 DIFFERENT WOMEN!!!" she exclaimed.

I love that the bride made the best of such a horrible situation and turned her wedding day into a divorce party. I wouldn't have it in me to do this; I would be crying in bed. I applaud her for having this kind of strength!

On October 31, 2003, a 77-year-old man named Libero Ricci set out for his daily walk at 10 a.m. after saying goodbye to his wife and son.

He lived with them in the southwestern suburb of Magliana in Rome. He was a retired interior decorator who used to work for the Vatican.

Libero Ricci usually walked for about a mile and rested on a bench near Magliana's shopping center. He would return by 11 a.m. But that morning, he never came home.

His son, Claudio, spent the rest of the day searching the neighborhood, interrogating shopkeepers and even checking with the local hospital.

No one had seen Ricci anywhere. Claudio reported his father missing that night. His father's disappearance hit him hard. Claudio described Ricci as "a perfectly normal, simple family man" who lived a quiet life and had no enemies.

About four years later, on July 27, 2007, firefighters put out a fire in Via della Pescaglia in the Magliana district of Rome. The fire was later thought to have been set on purpose. It started in a reed bed near a bike path on the Lungotevere. A partially charred but intact skeleton was found in the area.

The remains included a skull, a right femur, fragments of tibia and fibula, some cervical, thoracic and lumbar vertebrae, parts of a left humerus, rib pieces, a damaged scapula and several phalanges and metacarpals.

There was a pouch or crossbody bag next to the remains that contained an ID card and house keys belonging to Libero Ricci.

Investigators analyzed the skeleton further and determined that it had been wearing a blue jacket, a brown T-shirt, black trousers, and beige shoes. Strangely enough, the clothing had not been what Ricci was wearing on the day he disappeared.

In 2010, authorities tested the skull against the DNA of Ricci's relatives. The results were a surprise because it turned out the skull actually belonged to a female.

They decided to test the other bones and found that the remains were from five different people; three women and two men. These individuals died over a 20-year period between the mid-1980s and 2006.

There was a 40 to 50-year-old man who died between February 2002 and October 2006; a 25 to 40-year-old man who died between February 1986 and October 1989; a 45 to 55-year-old woman who passed away between November 2002 and November 2006; a 20 to 35-year-old woman who passed away between November 1992 and February 1998; and a 35 to 45-year-old woman who died between April 1995 and December 2000.

Authorities considered several possibilities. One theory was that a serial killer had gathered the bones of their victims to assemble a whole skeleton. Another was that the bones were dug up from a cemetery, but no traces of zinc or other metals used in coffins were detected.

The police even looked into any connections with the Banda della Magliana, a crime group in the area that operated from the 1960s until 1999. However, the evidence didn't add up.

The bones must have been brought to the area shortly before the fire was started, or else there would have been signs of scavenging from animals.

Whoever arranged the skeleton was also very familiar with human anatomical structure, as the bones were placed in all the right spots.

Other tests have been performed on the bones to see if they would match any people who have disappeared across Rome, but nothing has been confirmed.

When she was 10 or 11 years old, TikToker Dakota (@spookybarbie) went to Great Wolf Lodge with her best friend and her family. She never usually had problems staying out somewhere new, and on top of that, she was regularly excited to go to different places.

"I also want to add that I've always been super in tune with myself and my senses as well as other energies," said Dakota. "I've always been sensitive to other energies, and what I would like to think is maybe I can see more than the eye can see, if that makes sense."

On their first night at the resort, she was getting ready for bed when she was suddenly overcome with pure panic. She started crying hysterically and was having her first panic attack. Looking back, she was experiencing panic attacks every night she was at the resort.

She kept saying she needed to go home, but there was no chance of that happening. She was very far from home and was on vacation with another family.

It had nothing to do with discomfort. She was with her best friend's family all the time, so her panic didn't have anything to do with them.

Her friend's mom gave her the phone so she could call her dad. Dakota sat on the phone with her dad, sobbing and begging him to pick her up. But her dad didn't have a driver's license or a car, and her mom wasn't in the picture, so there was no way back home.

"I had to sit in that bathroom for about three hours talking to my dad and crying until I was finally tired enough to maybe fall asleep," Dakota recalled.

"But I remember not really being able to sleep. I slept that night just from exhaustion of traveling there, of being at the water park all day, and then crying for hours."

The next morning, they went to the water park and had a blast until Dakota had to do an activity that involved running through the halls. For some reason, something felt off, and she was extremely uncomfortable in the hallways.

She had this sense of unease throughout the day, even at the water park. She was scared of the water slide, even though she had never been afraid of water slides before.

On the second night, the same thing happened as on the first night. She cried and begged to leave, but wound up staying up all night and staring at the ceiling.

Dakota had always chalked up her fear on this trip to anxiety about being so far from home, even though that had never happened in the past.

She had gone on vacations with her friends' families that were even longer and farther away. Now, she's realizing there may have been some dark energy at the resort that wasn't sitting well with her.

How are you supposed to stay professional and keep your cool when a coworker’s cruelty deserves a scorched-earth response?

This woman suffered a miscarriage not too long ago. She had not planned the pregnancy and had no desire to be a mom before, but that all changed, and she was growing excited about her baby.

She works as a cardiac cath lab nurse, so she told the hospital about her pregnancy so she could get a fetal radiation badge, which she wore to monitor how much radiation her baby was exposed to. Her coworkers found out about her pregnancy because of her request for the badge.

"So when I turned my fetal badge back in l, word once again circulated that I lost the baby. Which is ok; I was met with nothing but love and support... until...," she explained.

"This one doc I work with said, 'Well, I guess it’s a good thing. She’s not very maternal and would have made an awful mother.' I was floored."

"This doc and I were never close friends because I don’t believe in babying grown adults...especially those who make probably 10x what I make yearly. Learn to regulate your own emotions. However, this is a separate rant."

Thankfully, her female coworker this rude doctor was speaking to stuck up for her and called him out for being out of line, which she appreciates.

She's not sure how to handle this, as she would have to make a hasty decision while she's grieving, emotional, and hurt.

"I haven’t told my husband yet, because he would 100% go on a war path to protect me and anyone who hurt me. I don’t want to let this slide, though. What should I do?" she wondered.

This makes me irate because how she acts in a professional setting has nothing to do with how she would be as a mom. I guess this doctor is expecting his female coworkers to act like his mommy.

What that doctor said was vile, especially coming from someone with a job where they should show human decency to everyone.

She should go to HR and report him.

After twenty-three years and a whole family built together, you’d think a man would have aged out of acting like a reckless frat boy looking for his next score.

This woman and her husband are both in their 50s. They have been married for 23 years, and they have three children together; their youngest is 13 years old.

Not too long ago, her husband took his grandma out to dinner at a restaurant where the tables are super close together. A woman was seated at the table next to her husband.

"He proceeded to 'talk' to her all night, and she asked for his number, and he gave it to her. She texted and called him the next day," she explained.

"He texted and called her. He did not tell me. I found out. I don’t think he would have told me if I did not find out."

Unfortunately, this is hardly the first time her husband has expressed an interest in another woman or strayed from their marriage.

Her husband has had several emotional affairs, but lately, she thought that they were in a great place, so she wasn't worried about him.

She and her husband attended marrige counseling, and he's in individual therapy on top of that.

"I need advice, as I am not sure if he will ever grow out of this behavior. By the way, his grandma even called him out and said it was wrong to talk to this woman at dinner. He has a problem, and I need advice," she continued.

Given that she and her husband have weathered multiple emotional affairs and invested in joint counseling, this is definitely a pattern of behavior here. Her husband is not growing out of this one.

I also can't believe that her husband did this in front of his own grandma, who then had to confront him. I think she should file for divorce, because her husband doesn't love her enough to change.

So she can either keep on accepting his bad behavior, or stand up for herself and leave.

First dates often involve breaking the ice, discovering mutual interests, and looking for common ground, but how would you feel if someone brought up what makeup they would put on you if you were dead in a casket?

Yesterday, this woman went out on a date with a man she met through a dating app. They talked for several days before meeting up in real life, and he came across as a normal guy with a great sense of humor.

His family has a funeral home, which is a key detail for you to know. This guy picked her up in his car so they could go out to dinner at a restaurant, and while she was in his car, she noticed a plastic skeleton in the backseat.

It gave her a scare, as she didn't realize that it was fake at first. She thought it might be real, and she questioned him about it. He laughed and said it was not real at all, and he noted that it makes him remember that life is special and he should be more appreciative of that.

"He kept talking for a while, pretty philosophically, and honestly I kind of bought it. Some people keep a quote on their mirror or a tattoo on their wrists; he keeps a skeleton in his car, whatever floats your boat," she explained.

"At the restaurant, we talked about his family and the funeral home, how he grew up around it, what the job involves. Still fine; I was curious, and he clearly loves it."

"Then, he started telling me which makeup techniques he’d use on me if I were dead and about to be presented in a casket. He talked about color correcting my skin so I wouldn’t look grey, how he’d set my lips, which foundation shade he’d go for, and a bunch of other details. He was completely calm about it; I didn’t know what to say, so I just ate my pasta and nodded."

"He texted me this morning saying he had a great time and wants to see me again. I can’t work out how to interpret that yesterday’s conversation, though."

Given his line of work, I just think this guy doesn't realize how creepy he came across. He's definitely desensitized to the dead. Has anyone seen Six Feet Under? This sounds like something that deserves to be on an episode of that show.

On July 5, 2018, Priscilla Booten, a former American beauty queen, went missing from her home in a suburb of Brisbane, Australia, where she lived with her boyfriend, Mark Sheridan Waden.

Weeks before she vanished, she wrote in her diary, "I am thankful I am alive, thankful for what I have." She wasn't reported missing until later that year, in December, and her body has never been found.

On Monday, June 1, Mark pleaded not guilty to murder in connection with Priscilla's disappearance at Brisbane's Supreme Court. According to Andrew Walklate, the crown prosecutor of the case, Mark allegedly killed Priscilla after she discovered that he was cheating on her with multiple other women.

The morning she went missing, Mark had sent a message to someone named Desiree Hatzipapas about sharing a "long kiss." Priscilla was able to access Mark's Facebook account, read his messages to other women, saved copies of the conversations, and blocked the women's accounts.

Mark was a Zumba teacher at the time, and around 6:00 p.m. local time, he reportedly canceled his Zumba class and called Priscilla. The day after Priscilla disappeared, Mark made urgent requests to contractors for a trench to be dug in his front garden.

He then used Priscilla's phone and posed as her in text messages before dumping her car near her ex's house. About a year later, Mark allegedly dug up the trench and left approximately 1,764 pounds of soil at a waste facility in the middle of the night.

Priscilla's ex-boyfriend, Stephen Thompson, was still on good terms with her, and they remained close friends for years. He became concerned when she abruptly stopped contacting him.

Her friends from her gym and fitness community were also worried when she stopped showing up to regular classes. Stephen was the one who reported Priscilla missing, and he spent months trying to find her.

At the time, Priscilla was a United States citizen and was living in Australia illegally. Her visa had expired in 2009, and she was financially dependent on others.

The prosecutor said that Mark lied to others about her disappearance and told friends that she was in hiding from immigration.

Weeks after Priscilla's disappearance, Mark gave Priscilla's clothes, makeup, and phone to Desiree. A year after Priscilla was reported missing, Mark told police that he and Priscilla broke up in June 2018.

They were arguing, and Priscilla refused to leave, so he threatened to call immigration. Apparently, she left within two days.

Furthermore, in December 2018, a strange phone call was made to the U.S. Consulate by a man claiming to be Stephen Thompson. He alleged that Priscilla was being held against her will in Winchester, Maryland, a place that does not exist. Stephen denied ever making the call.

Since July 2018, there has been no sign of bank activity, social media use, or any other trace of Priscilla to indicate that she might still be alive.

As for the trial, the Supreme Court jury found Mark Sheridan Waden guilty of murder after less than a day of deliberation. He will have to serve at least 20 years in prison before he is eligible for parole.

If you caught your spouse texting someone they used to hook up with that they were their first choice, not you, would you want to stay married to them?

This 30-year-old woman has been with her 28-year-old husband for nearly six years, and they got hitched three years ago. They have one child together, a son who is two.

Overall, she says her marriage has been good. Occasionally, she and her husband get into petty fights, but that's the only downside. Also, her husband has been less helpful at home as the years have gone by, and she has to remind him nonstop about the chores that have to be completed.

She's the one who does all of the cleaning, cooking, and childcare. Her husband no longer plans dates, celebrates her birthday, or makes an effort for holidays.

Lately, their romantic life has taken a hit because she's not feeling emotionally or mentally stimulated by her husband, which is important to her.

She doesn't feel attracted to her husband when she has to act like his parent on a daily basis.

Anyway, she woke up this morning to a "Hey Girl" message, and her stomach dropped. She opened it up and saw that her husband sent a message to a girl he used to hook up with.

"She tells him off, but she then sends me a message he sent her from 15 days after my son was born, stating that, 'he chose her first (before me), but she didn’t want to do long distance,'" she explained.

"I’m hurt. I feel like a second option, and he settled. I’m not too sure of where to go from here. This was a couple [of] hours ago, and I haven’t said a word to him, and I don’t plan to. I’ve never gone through his phone, but I plan to tonight while he’s asleep."

Life is way too short to be unhappy, and she has to leave her husband for calling her second best. I also don't love that her husband makes her do all of their chores and childcare, so she basically is a single mom already; it won't be a big adjustment not having him around.

When a lady at work set TikToker @toniruth51 up with her son, she was optimistic that it would work out between them. Her coworker claimed that her son was a nice man who knew how to take care of women. Of course, she should have known better than to trust a grown man's mother.

But for their first date, he asked @toniruth51 to pick him up because he had been drinking. That was red flag number one. She waited two hours to let him sober up so he could drive, but he was still feeling tipsy. She had to pick him up anyway.

He took five minutes to make his way outside. He came out wearing a cowboy hat and was super excited about it. They went to the bowling alley for their first date.

When she told him that she wanted more snacks, he swiped his card to pay for them, but it declined. Instead of trying to swipe it a second time or using a different card, he immediately turned around and asked her to pay. So, she bought the snacks herself, which cost $16.

During his turn to bowl, his backside slipped out of his pants. She quietly told him to pull up his pants. He looked her in the eyes and said that there was "nothing wrong with showing a little [backside]."

She didn't end up finishing her wings, so she left them on the table for the servers to take care of. However, on their way out, her date grabbed her leftovers and took them home with him.

The next day at work, her coworker asked how the date with her son went. She told her coworker that her son was drunk the whole time. Her coworker was so embarrassed, and now things are awkward between them.

Her coworker then said that her son needed to stop drinking, which made @toniruth51 think that she knew exactly what her son was like all along, yet still tried to set her up with a bum.

Several TikTok users believed that @toniruth51's coworker had a plan to pawn her son off, and she set her sights on @toniruth51 as the perfect candidate.

On Tuesday, November 3rd, a 42-year-old dad and his two young children died after falling from a parking garage on Florida Avenue in Mt. Lebanon, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

At 4:16 that afternoon, police officers rushed to the scene after receiving a 911 call about the incident. Life-saving measures were performed by first responders, but sadly, all three were pronounced dead at the scene.

Allegheny County Police say Patrick Lynch threw his 8-year-old son, James, and 6-year-old daughter, Caroline, from the garage and then jumped himself.

"Preliminary information suggests that this incident is a murder-suicide and there is no danger to the community," the Allegheny County Police shared in a statement.

The following day, Patrick's wife and the children's mother, Anna, posted publicly on social media, in what she called an attempt to get ahead of the headlines.

"My husband made the irreversible decision to kill our two children and himself this evening," she wrote. She said that before the media jumped to conclusions, he was a "wonderful dad."

According to Anna, Patrick had been laid off in August and became depressed soon afterward. She suggested he see a therapist, and he agreed. Patrick had an appointment booked for the day after he pushed his kids off the parking garage and took his own life.

"One day too late. Please check in on your loved ones. I never thought this is how our story would end," Anna continued. She ended her post with a goodbye to her kids, wishing James could ski all the bowls he wanted and Caroline could eat all the Skittles and have a castle of her own made of slime. She called the two "best friends forever."

Police haven't yet released a motive, and what's known about Patrick's job loss as well as his depression comes from Anna's account.

Two elementary schools, Markham and Washington, closed on Wednesday, along with Honey Bee Haven, the day care Caroline attended.

In a statement on social media, the day care said she was one of their own and "her loss is something we cannot begin to comprehend."

"Last night, these 2 beautiful, perfect children lost their lives in the most unimaginable way. No mother should ever have to experience this kind of pain," one of Anna's friends said on a GoFundMe page created for her.

"Especially Anna, who devoted her life to her family and to the community. To know her is to love her. Nothing I write here will bring her babies back and give her any sense of justice or peace. If we, her family and friends, can ease the financial burden of having to bury her children and her husband, it would be a relief."

Deception within a committed relationship isn't always an indicator that it's time to break up. But what would you do if you found out that your partner lied to you about their romantic history with a married couple they had dinner with?

This 38-year-old woman has spent the last two and a half years with her 45-year-old boyfriend. Back before they were official, he mentioned that he was traveling out of state to hook up with a girl he met on a dating app.

He did this two different times, which deeply hurt her, even though they were not in a committed relationship and their status was casual.

"I didn't say anything to him about those feelings. I felt it wasn't my place as someone who didn't expect exclusivity from him to police where he went and who he saw. I just didn't understand why he had to be so open and callous about it," she explained.

"When we were exclusive and committed, he actually mentioned wanting to go back to this same woman just for a platonic hang. I told him then that it made me highly uncomfortable that he wanted to drive four hours away, out of state, just to hang out with someone he used to hook up with."

Her boyfriend insisted that he didn't know this was such an enormous deal to her, and he promised that he would not go. To the best of her knowledge, he kept his word.

Two months ago, her boyfriend traveled two hours to spend time with a married couple. He said they were very close friends of his and they hadn't hung out in years.

Given what he did with that other girl, her anxiety welled up as she questioned her boyfriend about whether the couple were people he had a romantic history with. He said that wasn't the case.

He did admit that he met the couple through another friend of his, whom he met on a dating app, but he clarified that he didn't meet the couple on an app. She took that to mean that he was strictly friends with the couple.

Her boyfriend drove off to have dinner with that couple, and he returned home a little before midnight, telling her that he had a lovely time with them.

Well, one week later, she discovered that her boyfriend lied to her, and he actually used to sleep with this married couple. She was so mad that she moved out of the house and dumped him.

"My partner has never been anything but loving, patient, and understanding with me while we've been in a dedicated relationship," she said.

"He even set up couples counseling for us months ago to help us get through my insecurities that stemmed from the way our relationship began."

"He said that the dinner conversation with the couple was largely about all of them talking about how wonderful it was that all of them had found their one person, and about how the security and deep love everyone has found in monogamy was so beautiful."

While she loves her boyfriend dearly, he crossed a major line. When she uncovered the truth about this married couple, it gave her the worst panic attack she's ever experienced.

She's doubting that she did the right thing in dumping her boyfriend, and she worries that she should have tried to work on things with him.

"I feel like I might have made the worst mistake of my life, and I will probably never find a man who will love me and be patient with me like he was. I feel so broken," she continued.

I want to know why she was invited to the dinner. If her boyfriend truly was only friends with the married couple at this rate, she should have been allowed to come with him.

This man doesn't care about her or her feelings, so she did do the right thing in leaving him behind. She should stop worrying about the what-ifs.

Her boyfriend seemed to struggle with the whole monogamy thing to me, which is a whole other can of worms.

If your friend's spouse rubbed your leg in a public setting, would you be making excuses for them, or calling out their bad behavior?

This 28-year-old woman recently went to a bar with a bunch of her friends. They all sat in a booth, and it was tight, so they were squished in there with one another.

She was sitting beside her friend's 30-year-old husband, Bob, and her friend was sitting on Bob's other side. While in her seat, she could feel Bob's hand close to her leg, and she thought nothing of it, because they were jam-packed.

"But then he started inching towards my leg more and rubbing his fingers on it until his hand was on top of my knee, and he started moving his fingers over the inside of my knee," she explained.

"I freaked out and immediately got up and said I needed to get out to go to the bathroom. My question is: do I tell my friend what Bob did? I don’t know if he was just drunk or if he thought it was my friend’s (his wife's) leg."

"I feel very weird about all of this, honestly. I’ve known Bob for a while, and he’s never acted that way towards me or even expressed an interest, so I’m beyond confused. Would you consider this to be making a move?"

"Or was it absent-minded fidgeting while we are all packed together like sardines? I don’t want to blow up my friend’s marriage over an innocent mistake."

It is easy to bump knees or brush arms in a packed booth, but targeted caressing along the inner leg is deliberate. She has to quit making excuses, because Bob knew what he was doing; there's no way he mixed up her leg for his wife's.

What she should have done was call Bob out for touching her leg in front of everyone, because guys like this think they can get away with their behavior because women don't confront them.

Bob is a creep, and that's the unfortunate reality. She can tell her friend about what Bob did under the table, but she has to be prepared for her friend not to believe her, as so many women don't want to acknowledge their husbands being creeps.

17-year-old Laura Ann Aime was last seen leaving a Halloween party alone near midnight on October 31, 1974, in Lehi, Utah. Witnesses later said that she wanted to go buy a few things from a convenience store.

Laura grew up on a farm and loved horses as well as barrel racing. She had blue eyes and blonde hair. She was a sweetheart who was passionate about caring for animals. She enjoyed hunting with her dad and helping out with her siblings.

Two months after Laura vanished, her remains were found on November 27th. Two college kids were hiking in American Fork Canyon when they came across her body several feet from the highway.

"Her body was observed to be bound, severely beaten, and with no clothing. Deputies also discovered that a nylon stocking was utilized to strangle Aime and ultimately a major contributor to her death," the Utah County Sheriff's Office said in a press release.

An autopsy concluded that Laura had a skull fracture and multiple brain contusions. The only thing she had on was a necklace, and she had been covered with mud, twigs, and leaves.

Her dad identified her because of a scar she had gotten after being thrown from a horse.

"Prior investigations support that Laura’s body was recently placed in relation to its discovery, suggesting that Laura was kept alive for several days or more after her abduction," the Utah County Sheriff's Office went on to say.

"Case evidence similarities indicated that the manner of abuse and the likely cause of death was comparable to the modus operandi of Theodore 'Ted' Bundy (Bundy)."

Ted Bundy was a serial killer who confessed to 30 murders, though authorities suspect the number of victims he had was much higher, and could even be close to (or surpass) 100.

He was executed on January 24th, 1989, and what's interesting is that leading up to his death, he did say he was responsible for the disappearance and death of Laura.

He refused to give more information, and since there was not enough evidence to tie him to Laura, her case remained open for over 50 years.

Laura's niece, Taura Stucki, revealed to The Sun that a private investigator reached out to her with proof he had gathered about Laura, pointing to Ted Bundy speaking to her at school.

"It seems that Ted Bundy actually stalked my aunt a few times before actually killing her. He approached her multiple times," Taura explained.

“These kids were throwing leaves down her shirt. He came up to her and put his arm around her and was like, ‘Leave my girlfriend alone.’ [Laura] looked at him and was like, ‘I’m not your girlfriend.’"

Last year, around the 51st anniversary of Laura’s disappearance, her case and other ones that had grown cold were reviewed. DNA testing was performed and proved that DNA belonging to Ted Bundy was found on Laura's body.

Utah County Sheriff Mike Smith declared that if the serial killer were still alive, prosecutors unquestionably would have pursued the death penalty for what he did to Laura.

At the time, Ted Bundy was enrolled at the University of Utah, where he was studying law, and he lived in Salt Lake City, 30 miles from Laura's hometown.

"Laura is remembered by her family and friends to be a tall, beautiful, outgoing free spirit who enjoyed outdoor activities and shared a passion for riding horses, hunting, and caring for her several siblings," the Utah County Sheriff's Office added.

"Her family said that Laura was one who found joy in everything she did, making the most of her time with her family. Laura’s younger siblings told stories of her abundant compassion and warmth for her family."

"An example is when Laura spent personal funds to buy candy for her brother and sisters because she enjoyed watching the happiness in the eyes of her siblings getting something sweet."

Have you ever heard the term hospice wife? I hadn't before today, and Mel (@yayamelissahood on TikTok) is the one who introduced this to me with the story she shared.

Mel says that she overheard a woman recently pointing out that single men over the age of 50 are looking for one thing: women who are at least 10 to 12 years younger than they are because they want to make them into hospice wives.

"Women who will take care of them when their bodies are falling apart. And they disguise that by saying they want to have children and that's why they need a younger woman," Mel explained in her video.

While the term hospice wife sounds cynical, decades of empirical data confirm the asymmetry behind it. When chronic illness sets in, data from the National Alliance for Caregiving and AARP show that nearly two-thirds of informal caregivers are women, who handle the most physically demanding daily tasks at the expense of their own wages and retirement security.

The disparity becomes even starker when the roles are reversed. A study published in the journal Cancer (Glantz et al.) tracked married patients with severe diagnoses, and the findings revealed that partner abandonment was over six times higher when the woman was the patient (20.8%) versus when the man fell ill (2.9%).

Taking all of that into consideration, along with the staggering costs of private care for the elderly, which routinely exceed $5,000 to $10,000 a month, the dynamic creates an unspoken incentive structure.

For an aging man with no long-term care insurance and an underdeveloped support system, a younger woman isn't just a companion; she is an affordable health plan.

"I warned a younger coworker about this a few days ago. They also target women that planned for retirement, they want your 401K, because they don't have one," one person commented on Mel's video.

"Ya no joke. My 83-year-old dad, who lost my mom a year ago, announced he wanted to start dating. He wanted a 65-year-old with no ailments, a widow, who could cook and clean, and had her own money," someone else said.

"Oncology nurse here - true story. And refusing to marry or move in with him won’t save you from it either. He will still emotionally manipulate you into providing care for him," a third person added.

"This is true. I was a home care CNA for 20 years. I met a client who said he specifically married his younger wife, who was a nurse, specifically so she could take care of him as he's aging. I was shocked. This does happen," a fourth person weighed in.

Young love has a way of making even the most sensible people throw common sense out the window. So if you had to witness that when it came to your own child, would you want to intervene?

This 47-year-old woman has a 21-year-old daughter who shocked everyone by eloping in Vegas and getting married to her 21-year-old boyfriend recently.

She's best friends with this boy's mom and has known him since he was born. While her daughter's boyfriend-turned-husband is kind and loves her daughter, she feels blindsided by them tying the knot.

"They’ve been together since they were sixteen and went on a road trip together, which is how they ended up in Vegas and eloping," she explained.

"I know from my own experience (I married my daughter's father at 18 after only knowing him for 2 months) that the man you marry is NOT the man you divorce and that while you may think getting married young is a good idea, it is really better to wait."

Her current husband, who is her daughter's stepdad, is a lawyer, and as soon as he found out about the marriage, he said her daughter really needed to get a postnup in order to protect all of her assets.

Her daughter's dad has an enormous amount of money set aside for her in a trust fund, which she will be able to touch in four years.

She doesn't want to believe that her daughter's husband would try to steal any of her money, but she says you can never be too safe.

Now, her daughter doesn't have a great relationship with her dad, and this is why she thinks she might have been too dramatic in what she did to try to help.

"I told her that she had to get a postnup, and she said she wouldn’t, as she was an adult and could make her own decisions. I thought she was being naive, so I called her father, a decision I knew would lead to a massive argument between everyone involved," she continued.

"Her father absolutely hit the roof and told her that he wouldn’t let her have her trust fund if she didn’t get a postnup. He also didn’t know that she got married, so he was upset about that too."

"My daughter hasn’t spoken to me since, and her mother-in-law told me that I massively overreacted and should have waited before going for the nuclear option."

Ok, her daughter is super young, and her marriage very well could be a mistake, but everybody has to make their own mistakes in life.

While I get that she's disappointed, it's not like her daughter is reliving her mistake and running off with a guy she barely knows. She should have waited and let her daughter tell her dad about her marriage.

At the end of the day, it's his money, and he can do whatever he wants with it, but it was wrong of her to go tattling to him about all of this.

A woman who goes by @bossdon_k777 on TikTok was actually switched at birth and miraculously ended up being raised by her biological mom.

So, after she was born in a hospital, she accidentally got handed to the couple she doesn't have a biological connection to. The woman who raised @bossdon_k777 ended up abandoning @bossdon_k777 and her siblings.

So that means her sister's biological mom walked out on them. Her dad (who, again, is not her real dad; he's the dad she got switched with) later on met her biological mom.

Her dad then married her mom and took her other child in. And then, when @bossdon_k777 was 20, she discovered the truth: that she had been switched at birth.

"The whole time, they never knew that was my actual mom. It wasn't until I became an adult that we ended up finding this out and stuff like that," @bossdon_k777 explained in her video.

"It's just crazy because the whole time I really did just grow up with my biological mom...but she thought she was my stepmom at the time or whatever."

"I don't know, it's just crazy, and sometimes I don't really believe that they didn't know because she came into my life when I was like seven, eight years old..."

It was difficult for @bossdon_k777 to come to terms with the truth, because it's pretty shocking. And the child @bossdon_k777 got switched with grew up alongside her as well, because that was the child her biological mom came into the picture with when she met her dad.

In the end, it all worked out, @bossdon_k777 says.

Alyssa (@alyssa.loop on TikTok) retells stories sent to her, and one woman reached out to share her story about how her husband's mistress lit her on fire.

It was back in 2017 that this woman's husband had an affair, which she later found out about. She chose to forgive him, but their marriage was never the same.

Hoping to work through it, they attended therapy together. She truly thought that her husband had changed. In 2020, due to the pandemic, she decided to try her hand at being an influencer.

She didn't have a ton of followers, so she was shocked when a handful of people cyberbullied her and sent her rude messages. She would block the accounts, only to have them pop up under new names.

Months later, someone started putting notes on her car with threats, warning her to watch her back or calling her ugly. It scared her and made her think that she had a stalker.

Weeks after she started receiving the notes, she was driving home from grocery shopping one night, and she pulled into her driveway.

"I started to unload my groceries, and I felt a huge splash of liquid hit my back, and I was so shocked I wasn't even able to process what was happening, and then all of a sudden, I was just on fire," Alyssa explained in her video, sharing the woman's perspective.

"I was screaming for help, and I started to roll. I was rolling around in my front yard where the grass was, and it must have been some serious divine timing, because my sprinklers turned on as I was rolling around on the grass, which ended up putting a lot of the flames out."

"And I looked up, and I saw a woman holding a gas can, and she locked eyes with me and realized I was able to see her, and I wasn't on fire anymore, and she ran to her car and sped off."

She quickly called 911, and an ambulance arrived to take her to the hospital. On the way over, she phoned her husband in tears, asking him to meet her there.

She gave her husband a description of the woman, and he was silent on the other end of the phone. She asked her husband to look at the cameras at their house and speak to the police, as it was right around the time he would be getting home from the office.

Her husband simply said he would meet her at the hospital and hung up, which puzzled her. She thought he would be more upset and concerned for her safety.

When her husband got to the hospital, he whipped out a photo of a woman who was the person who set her on fire. Her husband revealed to her that the woman was his mistress.

"He looked at me, and he said, 'I've been sleeping with her for over a year. And she wanted me to leave you, and I told her that I wouldn't.' And we had just had an argument about it yesterday, and she was so angry, but I didn't know she would do something like this,'" Alyssa added.

She was heartbroken and in a ton of pain. She kicked her husband out of her hospital room, and she spent quite a while in the burn unit.

She has scars on her back, and her hair melted off, so she got extensions. Prior to being discharged, she asked her husband to move out of their house, and he did. She then filed for divorce.

The cyberbullying and the notes on her car stopped after all of that, and she thinks her husband's mistress was behind that too.

Kay Banks (@theceoofcats on TikTok) says that the longer they spend in the rescue world, the more they sympathize with people who want to shop instead of adopt, or buy dogs from reputable breeders in lieu of heading down to their local shelter to pick out a companion.

Not too long ago, Kay came across a post on Facebook that a dog rescue made, talking about how they adopted a dog two years ago. The rescue claimed the dog was a mix, but he looked like a full German shepherd to Kay.

Kay found it weird that the rescue adopted the dog without neutering him first, and then gave him to a person in another state.

When the person who adopted the dog didn't feel like being a pet parent anymore, they sent the dog to a shelter instead of returning him to the original rescue.

Or at least, that's what the rescue said, but Kay has a hunch that the person who adopted the dog did not willingly surrender him in the first place.

The rescue reached out to the shelter, trying to get the dog back, but the shelter euthanized the dog, which really made the rescue upset.

Kay scrolled through the comments and saw that there was more to the story.

"Basically, this dog had [bitten] seven people, multiple bites into the people's faces, and the last bite was on the owner. He bit her in the face to the point where she needed over 50 stitches in her face," Kay explained in their video.

"So I don't know if she actually surrendered this dog or if they took him and had to euthanize him, but um, they're talking about in the post how they wanted to get this dog back, and they were going to board and train him, and they were going to give him a special adopter."

"That is scary. That is so scary to think that rescues are literally out here grabbing dogs that are biting people in the face, multiple people in the face, tearing people's faces off practically, and they're going to rehabilitate them and adopt them out to people."

Kay noted that a dog like that could get loose from the owner at any point in time and end up taking the life of a little kid.

Kay went on to say that good puppies are being euthanized to make space in shelters, but rescues like that one are wasting time, energy, and money on a dog that could literally kill someone. They don't have their priorities straight.

Kay is right; it's definitely dark and reckless to prioritize the dangerous rehabilitation of severely aggressive animals over public safety and gentle, adoptable pets.

And I sadly can say this is not the first rescue I've heard of doing something like this. Rescues have a responsibility to do better.

Daniel (@honestlydaniel on TikTok) is sharing an interesting perspective on why men cheat with ugly women, and he's wondering if you've ever stopped to wonder about it, since it happens constantly.

Daniel said it's important to understand that pretty-looking women with morals just aren't generally going to go out of their way to hook up with married men who have families waiting for them at home.

"It's just not going to happen. They're going to have to be naturally ugly people, aren't they? Because any morally decent person would be, you know, they'd be respectful of his wife, they'd be respectful of his children, respectful of his girlfriend," Daniel explained in his video.

"...They have to be ugly on the inside to get with a guy in the first place. And it's not about, it's never about the man ever doing better."

For Daniel, the biggest misconception people have about unfaithful men is that they are driven by genuine desire or admiration for women they choose as their affair partners. In reality, he argues, it is driven by sheer emotional fragility.

"It's about the attention he gets. It's about boosting his little ego, making him feel like a man for a few days, 'cause he thinks he's lost his powers or something," Daniel emphasized.

Daniel underscored that cheating isn't ever about attraction for men; it's not about the affair partner being superior; it's about a man seeking attention and an ego boost.

Daniel concluded his video by bluntly summarizing the cycle: when a man seeks out an affair, he isn’t shopping at the top of the shelf. He is looking for whoever has standards low enough to tolerate him.

Daniel said it's absurd, and no good woman will accept a man who is married or in a committed relationship, which is why men have to go for women who are ugly on the outside as well as on the inside.

I think Daniel is right in saying that cheating is rarely a reflection of an irresistible connection. More often, it’s a desperate bid for an ego boost, carried out with whoever is willing to settle for scraps.

A woman who goes by @maddiesully3 on TikTok was born in 1997 after being conceived through IVF. She says that both her mom and dad really wanted her, and they had previous kids and marriages.

They had their tubes tied and got snipped, then had to get that reversed in order to bring her into the world. Several years ago, @maddiesully3 did an Ancestry DNA test and was shocked when it came back that she had a bunch of different half-siblings.

She was worried it was a scam or that her dad perhaps had some kids when he was way younger. Not wanting to get into it, @maddiesully3 did her best to forget about the strange ties to her DNA test.

One day, @maddiesully3's daughter came home with homework about her heritage, so @maddiesully3 revisited the DNA test she had taken.

By that point, the number of half-siblings had exploded to 13, so @maddiesully3 reached out to them. All of her half-siblings were conceived with donor dads, and many of them had same-gender parents.

Her parents were under the impression that her dad was the donor for @maddiesully3, not a random man, but that turned out not to be the case, which blindsided them all.

From there, @maddiesully3 learned that her donor, a.k.a. biological dad, has a heart condition, and so does her son. That was terrifying for her.

Wanting to piece this all together, @maddiesully3 asked her mom for more information, but her mom couldn't remember the name of the practice that did the IVF or who her doctor was, as it was nearly 30 years ago.

"You feel icky because you don't even know who you are, and you feel like your whole life's a lie," @maddiesully3 explained in her video, outlining how it feels like she's having an identity crisis now that she knows her dad isn't really her dad.

Lisa Leckie was 25, a mother of two boys who lived in a third-floor apartment on Southdale Road East in London, Ontario, with her common-law husband and their baby.

On the morning of March 24th, 2009, her partner came home from his night shift at around 7 a.m. and found her body in the living room.

Their eight-month-old son was in his crib, unharmed. An autopsy showed she died of asphyxiation. Police believe she was killed on the evening of March 23rd or in the early hours of March 24th. For an entire decade, police didn't say much else and remained tight-lipped about her case.

In March 2019, on the anniversary of her death, the London Police Service held a news conference and revealed something they'd held back: her killer had left a note behind.

Det. Sgt. Alex Krygsman wouldn't say what it said, but he did describe how it was made. It was typed on an old "impact-style model" typewriter with a fabric ribbon, which he said would have been unusual even 10 years earlier.

"We're hoping that that will tweak members of the public who might cast their minds back to somebody who would've had a typewriter like this and may have had knowledge of Lisa," he explained.

Police say the note and other evidence strongly indicate it wasn't a random act and that Lisa was targeted by someone she knew. They've also never identified a man caught on surveillance video near the apartment building at 9:12 p.m. on March 23rd.

He's described as about 5'10" and roughly 200 pounds. Police first released the footage in June 2009 and put it out again in 2019, and still want to speak with him.

"While there are no charges yet, the investigation has progressed," Krygsman stated in 2019.

He added that in a decade, 80 officers had worked the case and more than 300 interviews had been conducted. Police say they believe people in the community have information that could shed light on Lisa's killer.

Lisa's oldest son, Sean, was eight when she died. He was 18 when he appeared in a video for the 2019 news conference, and he later told Global News that he can no longer remember her voice.

What he does remember are the monthly picnics in the park where he'd catch bugs, and that her goal was making her children happy.

"I want to know why someone would want to hurt my mother and everyone around her so badly," he said. He also added, "It tears a person apart. I know it's torn us [the family] apart, and we didn't even do anything wrong."

It's not every day that you hear about someone entering a marriage based on external validation rather than emotional resonance, but this man is a rare case of that.

Eight years ago, this 34-year-old man tied the knot with his 31-year-old wife, and their life is definitely not a love story in the least, because he admits that he never loved his wife at all.

He didn't love her when he got down on one knee and proposed, and he didn't love her when he stood up in front of all their guests and said, "I do." He wishes he loved her, but he doesn't feel that way at all, and it won't ever change.

"When we were dating, my parents loved her. They said she would be an amazing wife, and I need to put a ring on her finger ASAP," he explained.

"I know that sounds like a dumb reason, but I trust my parents on things like these, especially given my past relationships that didn’t go so well."

"I don’t think she’s ugly; in fact, everyone in my life has complimented me, saying how lucky I am to have such a beautiful wife, and I am. She is amazing; she does everything. She never argues with me. She’s always so kind to others."

He is simply not attracted to her at all, though. He doesn't feel butterflies or a spark. He's not passionate about her. He genuinely believed that was how marriage was meant to be, but when he began speaking to some of his old coworkers and heard about their love stories, he realized how upsetting his situation is.

He doesn't want to leave his wife, and he says he can't anyway. He doesn't know what his wife would even do without him and their kids to occupy her time.

He's unsure of what he should do. He feels like the biggest jerk, as his family members all insist that after enough time, every husband and wife devolves into roommates, really.

"Again, I have no interest in leaving her; I'm just not sure what I should do. Do I tell her? Do I just continue on as is? I would greatly appreciate any advice," he concluded.

Wow, well, what would he even do without his wife and kids? I mean, really. He should definitely talk to a therapist and sort himself out.

His wife sounds absolutely lovely, and he's the worst for wasting her life and having kids with her on top of it. He owes it to her to get it together and be the best husband possible, or file for divorce so she can find the man she deserves.

I'm not sure why he was down to live a lie at someone else's expense.

If your former spouse expected you to keep on paying them alimony because their new partner simply didn't want to help contribute to their household, what would you do?

This man went through a divorce three years ago, and he shares three kids with his ex-wife. Following their split, he and his ex-wife have turned into great co-parents, and they hardly fight.

He has been paying his ex-wife alimony and child support every month, but in December, he will no longer be obligated to give her money for alimony. This means she's going to be receiving $900 less on a monthly basis.

"For context, I completely understand that she’s relied on both child support and alimony to help provide for our children. She’s the primary custodial parent because I’m active-duty military and stationed in a different state," he explained.

"I recognize the additional responsibilities that come with being the primary parent, and I don’t take that lightly. Where we’re disagreeing is that she wants me to voluntarily continue paying an additional $900 per month once alimony ends. Essentially, she wants me to make up the difference so her monthly income remains the same."

"Now, here’s where things get a little complicated. My ex recently had her boyfriend move in with her. We’ve met a few times, and our relationship is cordial. There’s no animosity between us, and we’ve both moved on with our lives."

He isn't mad that she's found another man, but his ex-wife told him that her boyfriend doesn't pay for any of the bills at home since he doesn't think he's obligated to.

He's having a hard time understanding this, because his ex-wife's boyfriend is living in her house and benefiting from being there, so he thinks he should have to contribute financially to the household.

His ex-wife expects him to keep giving her that $900 a month in alimony instead of making her boyfriend step up and pull his weight.

If this was money that was going to his children, he wouldn't have an issue with it. However, caring for his ex-wife's boyfriend is not something he thinks he has to foot the bill for.

"I want to be fair, and I understand that raising three children isn’t cheap. But I also feel like there’s a difference between fulfilling my financial responsibilities as a father and being expected to subsidize my ex-wife’s household," he continued.

"So, [am I the jerk] for not willingly increasing my child support by $900 a month once alimony ends?"

I actually laughed out loud. How is his ex-wife not embarrassed to let her grown boyfriend move in with her and let him off the hook for helping pay the bills?

This is so insane to me, and no, he shouldn't keep giving his ex-wife alimony so she can spend it on her boyfriend's living expenses!

If you spent over a month dating a person who then revealed to you they have another first date planned with someone else, would you be insulted?

This 27-year-old woman has been seeing a 30-year-old man for five weeks in a row. They're officially four dates in, and she really does like him.

"He's consistent, plans things, and seems interested. Yesterday he casually mentioned he has a date this weekend with another woman he matched with before we met," she explained.

"Apparently they had plans that got rescheduled [a] couple of times, and he feels weird canceling on her now. He said he wanted to be upfront because he likes me and doesn't want to hide anything."

"We haven't discussed exclusivity, so technically he's not doing anything wrong. But something about him specifically wanting to follow through with this one date is bothering me more than I expected."

Her friend is of the opinion that she should be grateful he didn't hide this information from her, but she doesn't understand why he feels the need to go on a first date with another girl when things are great between them, according to him.

She's left wondering how she can have a conversation about how hurt she is without making this come across like she's issuing him an ultimatum.

She's not trying to force the guy into being exclusive with her, but she can't pretend that this isn't super upsetting.

I don't think it's worth having a chat with him about exclusivity, because if he is taking another girl out on a first date, that tells her everything she needs to know: he's not that interested.

If he was into her, he wouldn't be entertaining another girl at all. And his reason is ridiculous, by the way, for why he's going out with this other girl. If he really liked her, he would have told that other girl that he met someone else and can't agree to a date with her.

If you found out that your sibling was using your backyard to have cookouts for your family and secretly charging everyone to attend, what would you do?

This man's brother has been using his house every summer for the last three years to host family cookouts for their loved ones. The first time his brother asked if he could use his grill and backyard, he stated that he wanted to do something kind for their family, and he encouraged it.

"He shows up that morning with bags from the grocery store and takes over my grill around ten. He uses my coolers, my patio furniture, my outdoor speakers, the whole setup," he explained.

"I usually help with the tables and chairs before everyone gets there and then spend a good hour after they leave scrubbing down the grill and picking up the yard."

A month ago at a family dinner, his cousin mentioned that it's getting really expensive for everyone to pay $35 every time his brother hosts a cookout.

He had no idea that his brother was secretly charging their family, and his cousin showed him the Venmo request his brother had sent to her.

There it was, $35 per person. He then talked to a few of his other relatives who confirmed that his brother charged them for every cookout as well.

"Between two cookouts a year and about twenty adults paying $35 each for burgers and chicken and a few cases of beer, my brother is pulling in around $1,400 a year on maybe $220 worth of food and pocketing the rest," he added.

"He just texted the family group chat about doing a holiday cookout at my house next month, $35 a head again. What I want to do is reply right under his text and tell everyone it’s my house and my grill and my backyard, and nobody needs to pay my brother a single thing because I’ve been hosting for free."

"He’s pocketed the difference for three years while I’m the one out there cleaning up after, and I’m done being quiet about it."

He's left wondering if it would be wrong of him to call his brother out in the family group chat.

It's super messed up of his brother to be profiting off of the cookouts while he's left to clean up the mess. He absolutely should call his brother out and put a stop to this.

Alana's (@beaumontblog on TikTok) son Donovan came to live with her when he was 10, and two years later, she adopted him out of foster care. Three years ago, Alana broke up with her ex-boyfriend, whom Donovan was extremely close to.

Alana had to sit Donovan down and tell him that they were breaking up, which Donovan didn't take well. Donovan was very upset, but Alana said she was happy to still let him have a relationship with her ex.

Alana kept that promise to her son, and she went on to date and then marry another man named Glenn. Alana allowed her ex to come over to her house while she and Glenn were there so that he could spend time with Donovan.

"The night that this happened, that man was there, and he had said something that got under Glenn's skin, and we immediately started arguing about it," Alana explained in her video.

"So we went outside, we were arguing; whenever I argue, I yell. That's just who I am, I'm a loud person, I feel like I have to get my point across, so I yell."

Half an hour earlier, Donovan had taken the medication that helps him relax, calm down, and go to sleep. Donovan was released from the psych ward days earlier and had been prescribed the pills there.

Alana figured that Donovan was asleep, but then she saw him coming down the stairs, so she asked him what he was up to. Donovan addressed the argument the adults were having, and Alana told him everything was fine, so he should go back into the house.

Alana realized Donovan had a gun, and he pulled it out and shot the ground. Alana tried to take the weapon from Donovan, who shot it again.

The bullet struck Glenn in the knee, and Donovan ran back inside, where he threw the gun on Alana's bed. Five minutes later, the cops arrived at her house.

Glenn didn't want Donovan to be charged, so he instructed Alana to tell the cops that he was cleaning the gun and that it had just misfired.

After the cops arrived, Alana stuck to that story, but Donovan walked out of the house, said he shot Glenn, and insisted he would do it again.

The cops took them all in for questioning; Donovan was put on probation for three years after being charged with aggravated assault. The court thought that Donovan wasn't feeling quite himself because of the medication.

Ultimately, Donovan had found the gun at the bottom of Alana's drawer, and she had kept it hidden. Donovan had been looking for his phone earlier, which Alana took when he was grounded, and he found the weapon.

"What do you mean I was dating a man my teenager didn't approve of, and he wanted me to be with my ex-boyfriend, and he [shot him]? And yeah, that's how my teenager shot my husband," Alana concluded.

Alana had never seen Donovan act like that prior to the incident, and she's convinced her ex put it in his head to shoot Glenn. Glenn tried to rebuild a bond with Donovan, who refused to do that.

Alana revealed that Donovan lived with them for another seven months, but then had an aggressive incident with her 3-year-old, so he moved in with one of his family members.

If you filed for divorce and then came to the realization that you made the biggest mistake of your life, would you have faith that you could fix it?

This 34-year-old woman is not sure if she needs to accept that it's over with her 34-year-old ex-husband, or if she still has a chance to win him back.

They spent 11 years together; 7 of those as husband and wife. As their marriage came to an end, she didn't feel like her husband understood her needs, particularly around their future and her love of traveling.

They both used to love traveling and planned to take a year to do so before starting their family. However, that desire to travel became just her dream, not theirs.

Add that to how alone she felt in a new city with her husband, who easily made friends while she struggled with her mental health, and she felt like she was losing him.

"Out of desperation and a misguided attempt to force him to see how much I was hurting, I used the threat of divorce as an emotional lever (had never done that)," she explained.

"We separated a year ago. In that time, we actually saw each other and talked about reconciliation and tried to find a way back multiple times, but because I was still so deeply hurt and felt unheard, I ended up pulling the final trigger on the divorce."

They surprisingly remained friends as the divorce dragged on, and it was made official three months ago. As soon as they separated, she spent her time traveling, but her now ex-husband was always on her mind.

The distance between them helped her come to realize that she had been wrong to divorce the man she loved so much. She never hooked up with another guy while they were separated; she was all in on focusing on growing.

She then made the choice to return to the city where they lived and work on developing a better connection with her ex-husband.

"I knew it would take time to rebuild the trust I had broken, but I truly believed we could work through it together. It was only after I made this commitment and returned that I found out he had recently connected with a woman who lives in Argentina," she said.

"They have never met in person and have only talked online. He is currently scheduled to fly halfway across the world to meet her in person next week."

She's been living with her ex-husband while looking for her own place. They have shared a lot of special moments with one another that have led her to believe they can fix things between them.

But then, there have been some times that have made her think it's no longer possible. She's feeling pretty conflicted about whether or not reconciling will actually happen.

"On one hand, he acts incredibly loving, stays close to me, and initiates moments of deep emotional intimacy. We cuddle on the couch, share intimate moments, slow dance, hug for long periods of time, and look into each other’s eyes like we used to," she added.

"He recently held me and admitted that he can feel himself slowly letting me back in, and that he feels like he has to force a stop to it to protect his heart. But then his logic snaps back. He tells me the trust is gone and that we need a total clean break."

"I know my actions hurt him; I know I was selfish and chose me over us, and that is a regret I’ll have to live with. I take full, unconditional accountability for the instability of my past choices. His words are telling me it's over and that he has to listen to his mind, but his actions and his deep closeness tell me his heart is still with me."

She believes her ex-husband is scared to let her back in. She's left wondering if she's insane for thinking it's possible to reconcile. She loves her ex-husband with all of her heart and can admit she made the biggest mistake of her life by divorcing him.

Her ex-husband is still being so nice to her, which speaks volumes about his character, while I just view her as selfish and potentially envious of his ability to move on.

I don't think she should stop his trip to Argentina. She should be supportive and let him see if this woman is what he's looking for. If she is, well, she has nobody to blame but herself, and she will have to learn how to live with the choices that she made. That's all there is to it.

This is a good lesson in how hurtful your words can be and to never bring up a divorce unless you're fine with doing serious damage to your spouse. She said it herself; she threatened him with a divorce, and she got what she wanted.

I really don't have any sympathy for her. She was so incredibly self-centered, and I really do feel like she only wants her ex-husband back now that another woman wants him. Poor guy. I hope that woman in Argentina is everything he's ever dreamed of so he can move on.

If you found out that your spouse cheated on you and one of your children was their affair child, how would you feel?

This 33-year-old man found out five months ago that his 32-year-old wife has been cheating on him with his 33-year-old best friend. The affair went on for two entire years, and the worst part for him is that both of his kids aren't his.

While his 3-year-old son was fathered by him, it turns out that his 1-year-old daughter is not his child; she's his best friend's. This has shattered him to uncover, on top of his wife's infidelity.

"We've separated now but not divorced. At first I was furious, but lately the anger has faded, and I'm just lost. I keep replaying everything: how he was my best man, how I trusted him with everything, how they both lied to my face for years while I built a life with them," he explained.

"It eats at me that he went home to his own wife/family every night after betraying mine."

What's even worse is that his wife acts like a two-year-long affair and an affair child are not that big of a deal. She claims the affair didn't mean anything to her; it just simply happened.

His wife keeps asking him to come home, and he's hurt that she can't understand that she wrecked their family with what she did. She ruined everything for him.

As for his daughter, he loves her, and the first time she called him her dad, he sobbed; his heart was so full. He invested an entire year of his life raising her.

Whenever he sees her now, he thinks about how his wife betrayed him. He feels like a bad person for struggling with the weight of that.

"I'm not planning to date again. I just want to focus on myself, heal, and keep my circle small just close family for now. But I honestly don't know what to do next or how to work through any of this," he continued.

"How do I move past the deepest betrayal of my life? How do I handle loving that little girl while carrying what feels like a I can't every time I think about where she came from?"

Well, he needs to hurry up and file for divorce. He should not give his wife a second chance, because she doesn't deserve one. And as sad as it is to say, it's just him and his son now. He shouldn't worry about his wife's affair child, as that's not his problem.
