Want to find a fix for blank and boring locker walls? Using magnetic locker wallpaper is a fun and easy way to decorate a school locker. The wallpaper is removable and you can find a wide array of designs that are well suited for a boy or girl. However, thinking outside of the box, I thought of another way to add spice to your school locker by using wall decals.

Well, it’s official. This was one of the worst summers for teens who wanted a job. According to the Labor Market the teen unemployment rate was 25.9% the highest since the World War II. Yes, our economy is suffering, and so many groups of people are looking for work. The teens are competing with retirees (remember they lost their savings), displaced workers, college graduates, transitional workers and the rising of the minimum wage. Obviously teens will suffer the most because of lack of skills or experience. But there is something a teen can do. They can enhance their skills.

Bath time can be a fight for a mom or dad with a stubborn toddler. However, there are some things you can do to make it fun so that you can both get through it without feeling frustrated by the end. The very most important thing is to make sure the temperature is correct. If a toddler has ever been put into a tub that is too hot or too cold, they may resist getting into the tub from there on out. So, every time, have them check the water with their hand, and you stick your elbow in, before you put them in. This will help eliminate the fear, and let them get on to the fun.

I am always looking for ways to save money on health care. As if health insurance premiums aren’t high enough, there are high deductibles that never seem to get met. My challenge this year is a $200 cap on preventive health care, and I have an infant who needs his immunizations. Every time I take him to the doctor, I receive a bill that is anywhere between $200 and $500. Unbelievable. It’s not so bad when your insurance pays for it, but when they don’t, what can you do?

Lakesides and beachfronts just have a way of attracting cabins. If your cabin is near a lake or the ocean, take advantage. Your lake or beach probably has a Web site. A quick Internet search can help you find postings for activities, classes, equipment rental, boat cruises and of course the local rules and regulations.
New to boating? Never fear. Info pages abound on the web for beginning and aspiring boaters. Or check out the United States Power Squadrons, a national nonprofit committed to safe boating education.
Don’t worry: if yours is not a waterfront cabin, there is still water fun to be had. Wander on down to the local swimming hole, or gather friends and family for some good old-fashioned water games-water balloon fights, water gun duels, a spirited sprint through the sprinkler. Even if you don’t have kids in your family to validate this kind of water silliness, what’s to stop you from getting in touch with your own inner child?
