Hung out with Reggie for a little bit up on Commercial St. and here’s what we came up with. Kid is a natural.

Decided it was finally time to let everyone get a good look at our newest addition Grady James Gideon. He’s two months old and I swear already has big time personality. Thankfully he inherited his mother’s good looks to go along with it. Here’s to parenthood pretty much being the most amazing experience ever.

World- Nate. Nate- World. Now that we’re familiar let me tell you a little about Nate. He’s interning this winter/spring with me. We’ve totally hit it off and I love this kid’s vision. He’s ambitious and talented but doesn’t seem to ever be in a rush. Those three qualities usually make great photographers. Also from some of the comments I get on my Facebook page he’s apparently quite nice to look at. But in all seriousness I really can’t wait to see where Nate takes his skills this year. Do yourself a favor and follow him on Twitter. Trust me. You’re about to see some serious talent emerge here.

I daydream. A lot. One day while daydreaming about why musicians have so many side projects I wondered why more photographers don’t have side projects. Don’t get me wrong-Christian Gideon Photography is 100% me. I breathe it, eat it, sleep it (well maybe not eat it)-but I’m also committed to always pushing myself. So after some thought and brainstorming I decided to launch my own side project- Razor Sharp Love. RSL is in the process of being born right now so I’m still hashing out where I want to take it, designing a website, etc. I do know that I’ll be looking for couples that want to push limits and take chances with photography. That being said I’m striving harder than ever as an artist to grow. Here’s to enjoying the ride.
