Shooting with True Color Films at Montafon

The last few days i was shooting with Alva, Nico, Martin and Thomas from True Color Films. We have been to this sweet pillow area in Montafon which is not rideable every year. It worked out pretty well for every one of us everybody took home some shots i think :)

Yesterday we decided to head up a little further to the mountains cause temperatures raised. After shoveling and doing the first hit on the jump we recognised that the snow was baked so we changed plans and moved on to an other spot where we had to fight with some speed problems. But all in all it was a cool day but as all of you know not every day is a banger day :)

Ahhh i had such great days in Mayrhofen! For me it was the first great contest shoot this season and it was great fun to meet up with the freeski family again Good Vibes, good people arround you and a perfectly organized event that's what makes and event like this unique and awesome.

Thanks you for those days in Mayrhofen! Special thanks to Martin, Nic and the whole Nordica crew and a special thanks to my roomie Skye!

Freeride Festival by Eric Themel at Brand

Today Fabio, Tobi, Markus and me went to Brand for the first time this season. Mr. Eric "the" Themel organized a super cool freeride event up there. At the bip draw i met some old friends like Paco the photosolider, Mr. Klotz, Mc Fly, Mücke, Thomas Feurstein and Simon Holzknecht. It's always fun to go to events cause you'll always know some people there!

The event started at 11 am with the hike up of the 60 participants followed by the contest itself. I've seen lots of good runs but i was super happy that my buddies Fabio and Thomas took home the victory in their disciplines.

Check the pictures maybe to get some impressions of that awesome but fucking minus 20°C day.

After all that half naked open jacket gangster shit photos we did some serious stuff again. We finally see some sun again and used the good conditions to shoot some pow outside the woods. Hopefully some more sun is coming up the next days.
