A new cafe in Los Angeles is calling itself Dumb Starbucks Coffee and using the same logo as the global coffee giant, but staff insist they're not breaking any laws. In fact, it looks almost identical to the real Starbucks apart from one word - 'dumb'. The coffee shop which is based in the Los Feliz / Silverlake area of the city says that by using the word, it makes it a parody and is therefore permissible under freedom of speech laws.

Peter Mayhew, the man who played Chewbacca in the Star Wars films, took to Twitter recently and released a bunch of really cool vintage behind-the-scenes photos from the original trilogy. Doubleleaf really outdid himself with this DC and Marvel combination of heroes! Of course he wasn't the first to do it after the DC vs. Marvel confrontation led to the Amalgam universe fusing the characters. While Batman and Captain America is a pretty solid combination, the original pairing was Wolverine and Batman to create Dark Claw which was... it was a thing of beauty. I will say that DC and Marvel completely missed the boat on a Hulk Flash, which is an entirely too broken superhero but also insanely awesome!

Line Rainville is one hell of a hardcore Star Trek fan! She's such a huge fan that she ended up spending $30,000 on transforming her basement into the USS Enterprise. She re-created parts of the Enterprise bridge, transporter room, recreation room, observation deck, and even Spock's quarters from the '60s era series. She put a lot of work into this thing, and she seems very happy with it.

Check out this awesome design created by Josh Nizzi for a character that didn't make it into Thor: The Dark World. It's of the Norse warrior goddess Valkyrie, a.k.a. Brunnhilde. The character first appeared in The Avengers #83 in 1970 and is part of the superhero team known as the Defenders. it would have been really cool to see this character brought to life in Thor: The Dark World, but if they were thinking about introducing her in this film, then I'm sure somewhere down the line they will get her up on the big screen kicking some ass.

The Bellemaison boutique in Japan has created a line of lingerie inspired by Disney's princesses. I guess it was only a matter of time before it happened. The collection includes lingerie for characters such as Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, and Rapunzel.

Hopefully I'm not alone in this, but I find Emma Frost to be one of the most entertaining characters in comics. She's one of the ultimate femme fatales, and she walks a wonderfully fine line between hero and villain so often that the sides have completely blurred at this point. Powerful, beautiful, and loyal to those few who have earned it, the White Queen is one of the more complex mutants around, so it would stand to reason she would be the focus of some splendid cosplays. The community certainly did not disappoint, so put on your fancy clothes and enjoy some of the best White Queen cosplays around!

While Warner Brothers figures out how to actually accomplish a quality Wonder Woman movie, the sculptors and sculptresses over at Sideshow don’t seem to have a problem working with the renowned amazon. The gorgeous, hinted-at premium format figure doesn’t have any specs yet, but from the small peek this is one of, if not the, best Wonder Woman piece Sideshow has produced, period.

Here's a funny collection of fan art featuring several famous superheroes who just let themselves go. The series comes from a website called Supersized Heroes, where you can feed the superheroes all they can eat until they get nice and fat. The whole point of the site is to fatten up the superheroes. I don't really know why it exists, but it does. If you like your superheroes fat, enjoy!

The first thing I should tell you about these amazingly badass looking hooded jackets is that they don't actually exist. They are concept designs, but the seriously need to be brought to life, because they are the best superhero hoodies that I've ever seen! These are perfectly slick looking designs. I mean seriously… what geek wouldn't wear these? I'd buy the whole collection! The designs were created by Deviant Art user seventhirtytwo, and I really hope that one day they become a reality!

A man and his girlfriend were "urban exploring" around Belgium when they found an abandoned hospital building with a message "There's beauty in destruction." After entering they stumbled upon quite a few unique Batman graffiti's allegedly tagged by the same artist. "Pete" or "Peteone" as he put in one piece is a mystery to the internet but despite his obscurity extremely talented! Here's hoping we see more of his work surface on the web very soon!
