Today I'm going to give you a little tour of the Alexander Hamilton Library in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. This library is located in an old house, circa 1817. The Hamilton family purchased the home in 1841 and one of Alexander Hamilton's grand daughters left the house, in her will, to the town of Waynesboro to be used as a library. It is a beautiful classic Georgian style home.

Ciao Karen!

Today for the first time I'll take you out of Tuscany to Modena, the city of Pavarotti.
The pretext for this trip was the Florarte Show held annually in the beautiful eighteenth century Villa Cavazza and its beautiful gardens, courtyards and porches. Most of the older homes around here, don't have a lot of closet space, because in the old days we used wardrobes or Armoires instead. You can see my antique Armoire above, this one actually looks more European to me, but I did buy it here, it was probably imported.Oggi vorrei mostrarti alcuni <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/ciaoFromTuscany/~4/vZdNLQs_ipE" height="1" width="1"/>

TOSCANA : I want to live like this - Voglio vivere così

Ciao Karen!

Many blog friends, both Italian and U.S., have repeatedly said that Tuscany is a dream for them: to take a trip, walk the ancient streets, enjoy its culture. Why not come here and enjoy the wines and traditional cuisine?

Hello Daniela,

Last weekend my husband and I went to a wonderful "Open House". An Open House is when a real estate agent opens up a home, that's for sale, to the public, in hopes of finding a buyer. Do you have Open Houses in Tuscany?
When we saw the listing for this amazing Historic home in Frederick County Maryland, we were chomping at the bit to see it!
